I had some Aluminum plate cut for a prototype diesel intake, the parts arrived on time and were perfect, no scratches and very clean. I will be sending more their way. Even with the shipping the turn around time, along with the quality of the work it was much better than local companys.

Im so glad a Facebook ad popped up that was actually useful! I needed some prototype sheet steel pieces and was in the process of trying to figure out how to mill them. It was going to be a real pain and take hours. Then I saw the ad and contacted these guys. Their website was great and all I had to do was upload my .dxf file of the part, select the material and I got an immediate quote which was $24 per part! I ordered 3 of them and they sent me 4 for the same price, and I got them within a week and a half. It would have cost me several hundred dollars if Id done it myself. Oh, and the parts were perfect...beautiful! Cant recommend these guys enough!

I purchased a 6061 t6 Aluminum plate for a custom keyboard build Im working on. The tight tolerances required for my pressure-fit key switches was spot on, and the deburred/rolled edges were perfectly done.It came with plenty of padding for a sturdy metal plate so you dont have to worry about damage in shipping. The turnaround and delivery was much faster than expected.Overall, a nicer experience than with Ponoko! Id love to have a few more options for finishes on brass and other metals in the future.

They were extremely helpful with getting my design exported properly so I was able to use the service. On top of that I had lots of options to pick on production / delivery time so I could make the speed trade-off myself. Ended up getting my custom made parts in about a week and half and they are exactly as designed. The price seemed very reasonable given the materials and completely custom nature of it all.

This is my first time ordering with OSH Cut, and their service was excellent. The quoting tool was very easy to use and allowed me to quickly import and order the parts I needed. The parts themselves were of expected quality - accurately cut and bent, but not finished. The only thing I would like them to improve on at this time is to have a better user interface post-ordering to track where my job is in their production queue and if there are any ETA updates.

The only work needed to make the parts usable was knocking down the perfectly sharp edges.Ill definitely be using their services again for future projects!

OSH Cut is by far the fastest and least expensive sheet metal service I’ve ever used and the cut quality/drill holes were spot on as well. To put it in perspective, the cost to cut/bend/drill 6 sheets of aluminum was about 20-30% of the quotes I received from other vendors, and the parts arrived in 3 business days compared to 5-10+ quoted from other vendors!

This was my first experience with sending out a drawing over the internet and getting a part in the mail. It worked out perfect. I 3d printed the parts first to make sure they fit and got back 4 perfectly plasma cut exhaust flanges.

Stainless steel throwing knives came out beautifully and just required a little sanding and buffing to shine them right up (and grinding the blade of course). The only reason for a 4 star instead of 5 star is the fact that they were currently in the process of upgrading so they couldnt expedite my processing. I also had to wait 3 more days because FedEx decided to leave my package in Utah for 3 days but that wasnt OSH Cuts fault. The cuts were very clean, no dross and came very well packaged. OSH Cut is my new go-to for precision cut pieces. I needed some parts fabricated for a car that Im rebuilding, and I dont have access to a brake or other large scale metal working tools, so OSH Cut makes it easy to have these parts made for me.

Parts arrived on time and seemed within about .002 on critical dimensions. The parts had large scratches and lots of boot prints. though. I ordered pickled and oiled mild steel and it was clear the material had been handled roughly. Luckily I could choose a good side on all the parts, but I would think twice if any of the surfaces needed to be finished nicely.

Accuracy/precision seems good. Shipping and packaging was perfectly adequate. Only complaint is that the burr left on the parts (1/4 aluminum) is significant. As a comparison, similar parts from SCS did cost more but didnt have the burr that needed to be worked on.

Parts arrived beautifully cut and packaged. The aluminum was extremely clean and unscratched. Parts were cut within about three thousandths with outer cuts slightly small and inner cuts slightly large. Much closer than similarly priced water jet cutting. Taper was also much smaller than with water jet and the edges are much smoother. Thanks guys!!

I ordered flat laser-cut pieces from 301 Stainless Steel spring temper, and formed pieces from 304 Stainless (one part with 3 90° flanges, and 1 10° flange, another part with a 30° flange). Parts turned out great, and fit exactly as expected, so it looks like all cut and formed dimensions were perfect.

OSHCut makes it super easy to make cut outs in sheet metal. This is my first time, and they helped me figure out how to convert a drawing from a free 2D CAD editor (KLayout) to DXF. Their online instant quote system is easy to use, checks the drawing for errors, explains the error and allows you to fix it on the spot! This service is so much cheaper, faster and more precise than doing it myself! When the part came, everything fits perfectly =).

Experience was awesome and I got exactly what I needed in quality stainless with an amazing turnaround. Not having expensive CAD software and therefore only primitive shape files on my end was not an issue for OSH and they cut my pieces from a simple .svg file from TinkerCad converted to .DXF

I started a project to build a number of pro-sumer flight simulator instruments into a panel. I have the instruments, but needed something custom to mount them. For that, I needed a very low profile, sturdy and precisely cut front. I started thinking: if only I could find someone who could custom-make such a part for me. A web search brought me to OSH. I had to invent how to provide the specifications, and after some experimenting was able to get the design uploaded within .5mm accuracy. I ordered, and a week later the part arrived - exactly as I wanted it. Im very excited to continue my project now, able to build my panel much better than I could have done without this precisely cut piece of steel.

Needed to have an aluminum seat base cut out to reinforce an existing pair of boat seats. Designed the image profile in AI and sent it off to OSH Cut. The file did not convert properly in their automated quote program. Got ahold of OSH Cut and emailed them my file directly. They modified it to a different file type and sent it back. I did my own verification and submitted the file with my request. Within 12 days got my parts and installed them immediately. Perfect!

I got quotes from OSH Cut, another large online machine shop, and a local place. OSH Cut was the cheapest by a large margin, the easiest to get a quote, and had the largest selection of materials. The finished parts are exactly what I wanted, and shipping was reasonable. Im very happy with them. They even followed up with a call to make sure I was satisfied.

Just received my order of cut and bent aluminum parts. The bent tab positioning was critical, as they interfaced with a mating part via a snap fit into narrow slots... After my initial design upload had some errors highlighted in their online ordering tool, I updated my design based on the feedback and their bent parts design guide. Very nice and sportive, my pieces were great but they did come with a bit of burning and slag but they were great.

They cut my part exactly as I had requested, even surprising me by cutting a few tiny details that were flagged as possible problems. Very little bur removal (I submitted that I would do the cleanup after cutting), and the arrival time was very fast. Economical, attention to detail, fast turnaround. Lead time for parts was quite longer than expected when compared to another company I typically use. Social media ads for OSH typically displayed 3 day lead time while my lead time was around 2 weeks. I went with OSH only because the other company I deal with did not have the thickness I needed (5/16). There was more cut angle on the edges of the pieces I received when compared to thicker metal from another company, for my application though it did not matter. All worked well!
