If you’re looking for a quite/beautiful apartment complex equipped with amazing staff and maintenance look no further! Staff is always professional and helpful. They ensure that questions and concerns are heard and completed. The Maintenance team is freaking awesome! This isn’t your typical maintenance that says they will complete the issue and you’re still having the issue 15 minutes later. NO! My issues are resolved and if they can’t fix it they will let you know why and if they have to put in an order for something or call someone for assistance. Their response time is impeccable and they ensure that any issues that occur are looked at and completed.

It’s not worth it, I promise. Look else where for a place to live. At first the apartment was great and staff was friendly, But…….That was 8 months ago. The apartment grounds are poorly maintained, usually instead of working maintenance can be found in their golf carts tearing up the grass. Trash is covering the ground by my in ground unit apartment window. Today practically makes 2 months since I put a work order in to get plumping fix in my kitchen, our sink leaks into our dishwater because they started taking out the garbage disposal and never finished, so it stinks our apartment up and I shop vac the water out every other day. I probably sound petty, don’t settle for this place, set better standards for yourself.

In a year ive only talked to management twiceFirst time was a week after i moved in. lock was busted, and any person could open my door. Management first said well we dont think its a problem, then when I complained they wanted to charge me to fix it.Second time I renew my lease go on vacation get and email saying they are contacting there attorneys. because i have failed to pay. turns out you got to renew autopayments but hey I have and idea, How about instead of going straight to legal you try using email like a normal human? or texts?, or knocking? ask hey whats up? These people do not know how to communicate. also love the 100 dollar late fee.The apartments for being built rather long ago are not bad, the vaulted ceilings are nice, they do spray for bugs fairly often but overall for what you pay its not bad. What is bad though is you are very close to a fire station, and police department constant sirens every day

They do a terrific job in helping you find a unit that works best for you. I have never had an issue with maintenance staff either, anytime I needed something done so far they get right on it! I also notice staff is always doing minor upgrades to the units when they can! Our hallways needs a new coat of paint and they painted it a couple weeks ago and it looks great! I am now being charged $1000 in “repairs” after my $500 deposit that was supposed to be $800 was deducted. Not to mention they’re charging me an oppd bill FOR THE MONTH AFTER I MOVED OUT and wasn’t even in the unit. Did I mention I also lived in a 1 bedroom unit? Less that 800 sq ft… hmm idk chief doesn’t add up to me. I have lived at Camelot for almost 14 years. What makes me stay at Camelot is the Staff, Maintenance Crew and Neighbors. Whenever I have had an issue, which is rarely, it has been met with sincere concern on their part. They CARE about making you feel safe and comfortable. They are always friendly, no matter what. The Maintenance Crew feel like family and respond to issues quickly and efficiently! The sense of Community here is fantastic! They offer promotions, rewards and giveaways! They always notify you well in advance of any periodic visits that will be made to change filters, spray to keep the apartments free of pests and other safety checks. They have round the clock access to Maintenance that is wonderful! Its just an all around good experience living here! Thanks Camelot!!

This is my second year living in the complex and I am planning on staying for a third. Its most certainly not the most amazing deluxe apartment complex in Omaha, but for what I pay, I am pleased. The management is decent, and they have always been kind and patient. The office does occasionally close early, but not so often that its annoying. The ammentities are nice enough, and so are the neighbors. Maintenance requests are usually resolved next day, and emergencies have always been resolved same day. The apartments are decently cleaned, and as long as you take care of your unit, you shouldnt have any major issues. Ive never had pest problems, besides wasps on the patio, and that was taken care of immediately. The place is hard to beat for the price if you ask me.

I have not rented with Camelot Village and have no desire to rent after my experience with scheduling an tour to see the property. Prior to my visit to the leasing office I called to inquire about available units and scheduled an tour to view the vacant unit and received email confirmation of the appointment. upon my visit to the leasing office I was advised that a drivers license would be needed, which is fine, had I known this requirement for Camelot in advance- not every leasing office requires an ID in order to tour vacant unit. Inadvertently my purse was left at my home that morning before work the day of my scheduled tour. I could have driven home on my lunch break during work to get my ID in order so I could tour the apartment. In order to view the apartment, because at the time I was very interested, I made the drive home to get it. I was escorted to a unit that was already occupied and fully furnished. Its a good think the tenant wasnt home when this happened. The leasing agent made a few calls and after about 10 minutes I was told that there were no available units to view. All units were occupied. The unit I was interested in that I called about 2 days prior to my schedule tour had been rented for a week. I was very frustrated at the unprofessional managing of unit availabilities because an hour and a half of my time had been wasted trying to see an apartment that was never available in the first place. Later, when I suggested the requirement for photo ID be mentioned at the time a unit tour is scheduled, it was not addressed all she said was a lot of people say the same thing that I have said about it being something that is mentioned at the time a tour is scheduled. My experience with Camelot Village shows lack of professionalism and record keeping skills. I can only imagine what issues I would have had if I were a tenant based on this experience alone. I hope this review is useful to anyone who is inquiring about the property.

I lived here for two years. Everything was good until the end. Maintenance was timely, enjoyed the pool, fitness center was decent, no major problems with my unit. But shortly after renewing my lease the second time, someone moved in next door who smoked in their unit, and it filled my apartment. There was nothing they would do about it since its allowed in their smoking policy. I tried air filters and they put up a notice in the building to be considerate of neighbors, but it didnt change anything. Finally, I had to pay to break my lease and move in with my parents for a couple months before getting a new apartment at another complex. Wish they had a better smoking policy, because I was happy here otherwise!

I love it here. Ive really had no major problems here. Everything is answered in a timely fashion-well normally I guess. I am having 2 issues right now that I emailed staff about on 12/28/2016- have not heard anything. But today is only the 29th. I resorted to email because I know there is a way of making a maintenance request on the website but being on my phone I cant find it so I will touch base in the morning from work. I do wish an app existed for not only rent payments but also maintenance requests. All in all though I have no complaints as I just moved in back in November. Im a very easy going person anyway. For the most part my 6+ years at Camelot were fine. The newer staff at the offices were much better then the previous ones, (where at one point I had to send a certified letter to get a leak repaired correctly. My complaint is that after giving them over $40.000 in rent over the years, I was charged $900 for cleaning fees! After this long, carpets are going to have to be replaced, walls are going to need to be repainted. I spent an extra day scrubbing down the kitchen and bathroom, I even left a two year old microwave in spotless condition because it matched the other appliances! $900 is tough to come by when youre putting down payments and first months rent on a new apartment in another state! FYI, anyone moving into 2516 n 93rd #20.... watch the ceiling above the shower. The leak from above was never fixed properly and it wont be long before mold starts to seep through the walls. At one point water was pouring through the bathroom ventilation and down to the toilet below. Good luck!

I havent experienced any of the situations others here are complaining/upset about.Im in the process of moving to a bigger apartment in the complex & management has been nothing but helpful! The office staff is very friendly. Weve had maintenance in our apartment a few times & if we arent home were always notified that they entered. Maintenance is usually quick to respond as well. I havent had any bug problems either... Ive probably seen 3 in my apartment the entire time Ive lived here, and I live on the bottom floor. Every now and then people come to spray for prevention too. Some of the neighbors are loud & things in the apartment sometimes need fixed, but thats what youll deal with in any apartment. Yale security doesnt seem to do much, but it isnt a bad environment/there isnt a lot of crime.I havent moved out of my current apartment to know if they charge you for damages fairly, but I can always edit my review. I dont feel like theyd be unfair about it if the apartment was kept in good shape though. Overall, I like it here!UPDATE: I got back my entire deposit back once I moved. I took the time to clean the apartment well before leaving & we did our best to keep it in good condition.

I truly believe any positive recent reviews are either friends of management or are paid to write them. I would give 0 stars if possible. I look all all the reviews from the past few months and nearly every single one has 1 star, you think the management would realize theres a problem here! I recently lived at these apartments and there was a new nightmare every month. The AC in our building was once off for TWO MONTHS and my apartment was consistently 80+ degrees. Not only this, but living on the third floor there are windows at the roof and the men working on the roof would stare at me when I was in the comfort of my own apartment which was very uncomfortable and when I told the manager about this she didnt seem to think it was a problem. They did nothing to compensate for the horrid living conditions. The manager (rudest lady ever, like most people in the office) informed me nothing would be done for us because they needed the AC off while they worked on the roof which had to be repaired. I understood this until about 4 days after the roof was finished and I walked into the stairwell to find it raining into a bucket. Yes, I assure this was not a leak, it was RAINING into a large bucket that was about to overflow. I dont understand why we went two months in the heat for their to be a hole less than a week later. After over half a year, the hole in the ceiling was still present, classy. They would also turn off our water (multiple times) without warning to fix something or another that always seemed to be broken. I informed them that I believed we deserved a warning considering sometimes theres a need for showers and such before work or job interviews, but they said it would take too long to call the 10 people who live in our building. I also believe the windows are not very secure as many wasps entered through mine. I could go on and on but its easier to just tell you: whatever you do, do not waste your money here!! The studio apartment is overpriced to say the least and I wouldnt even suggest these apartments to my worst enemy.UPDATE: The move out process was smooth, I cleaned the apartment like crazy and it was noticed and I was not charged any extra fees. I appreciated the professionalism of the staff on this matter. However, I did the inspection with them in fear they would upcharge me for no reason if I wasnt there. Upon moving out I wondered if Camelot is really that bad or if more apartments were like this. Ive lived in my new apartment for about 3 months now and theres nothing particularly special yet but I must say Camelot was so bad that it has made me LOVE my new place! Theres not someone entering my apartment at least once a month for random, seemingly pointless reasons. The staff is always friendly and timely with requests. The water and AC/Heat has never been shut off, its a breath of fresh air. In the end, I was right about Camelot, its horrible.Update 2: You know the apartments are bad when they literally haunt you. Like why am I up at 11:00 on a Wednesday thinking about how bad living here was 😶😶

Please upgrade the property fitness center . This is ridiculous! It shouldnt be barely any equipment in there. You guys need to upgrade your machines and add more machines for different workout methods. This complex gets a lot of money from their tenants to not have upgraded the fitness center a long time ago. Plus, one of the treadmills is broken. There is never sani wipes and never water. Ive been to other apartment complexes and they have everything plus newer equipment that fills up the gym and they have the appropriate cleansing products plus water. If you want to hate yourself and waste all your money on fees and repairs, move here. The AC breaks in every apartment. It takes weeks to get repaired. Most of the apartments flood, usually not clean water either. They will not replace the carpet even with a newborn baby in the apartment unless you can get a doctor to provide a note saying its required. Every time they enter your apartment for maintenance, replacing air filters, etc, they are also checking to see if there might possibly anything that they can charge you for. They have pest control once a month which always seems to bring more pests. Once Kay and Kelly left, customer service is non existent. They have and will charge you for mistakes that they make. Most requests for repairs caused more damage than what was requested fixed. Moving out was like being exonerated from prison. Save yourself the trouble. Move into the bug exhibit at the zoo. Plug the drains and have all cleaning water runoff plumbed into the exhibit. Flush half of each paycheck down the drain. And ask the zoo employees to be extremely condescending to you at every chance. The only good thing is the pools kills someone stupid every year, except the year it wasnt open but I still paid for.

Well we want to make are family a little bigger so we got a dog, there is a $200.00 fee that does not go towards ANYTHING they just want your money plus a fee on top of your rent every month for having the dog. When you move out they will come and do an inspection and will bill you for any damages. We received a bill in the mail for the carpet damage, you are able to set up a payment plan but you are NOT able to choose how much you can afford a month they tell you what you are to pay if you do not pay it in full or miss one payment it will go straight to collections, I highly do not recommend moving into these apartments, find someone else to spend your money.

They bug you and bug you about payments but cant fix what needs to be fixed, EVER. They charge you through the roof for honestly less than average living conditions and they charge you craziness for laundry, fees and deposits. Never once were they up front about specific costs until it pertained to you. I.e. the sign up fee, 18 and/or with no cosigner= $$$$$ and more than 1/2 of it is none refundable. The ONLY really good thing I can say about these apartments is that its in the middle of everything. Otherwise, spend your money else where. Theres way better for cheaper or the same price in plenty other apts than these. If you move here anyway, take the 6 month option cause by month 3 youll be ready to pull your hair out. 🙃👎🏽🚫

The management is very rude. If something is broken or needs to be fixed you will be blamed for the damage. If you live there for more than a year be prepared to pay for painting, small wear and tear and for the carpet. The fee will be at least 1500.00 . If you try and dispute it, you will be told its in your lease contract. Take pictures before you move in and detail every small issue in the move in worksheet, if you dont you probably will end up paying for damage you did not cause.

We had lived here for 3 years. It was great at first under the old management. The new management sucks. They lost the paper work about how their maintenance used our vacuum and ruined it trying to vacuum up water leaking from the a/c unit. It took a few weeks to figure out the leaking water, our carpet was soaked the entire time. They put an industrial fan next to our dogs kennel trying to dry the water. The fan was so loud! Our poor little 7 pound puppy was so scared! When we got our dog we were told there was a 200 dollar deposit that would go towards damages the dog may do. None of that went towards damages. When we moved out they told us it was a fee on top of the monthly fee they charge for an animal. Basically they want your money and dont care about anything else. Our heater and a/c went out and they wouldnt come fix it. Medically I need it to be a certain temp in the house as I have a trach and breathe through my neck. It took a few days before we could get them out here. Then they fixed it. Not even two minutes after they left it went out again. He came back and spent 4 hours and finally got it fixed.NEEDLESS to say: find a better apartment that arent cheap asses that just want money and not want to fix stuff! Spend the extra money for a better place! This place sucks so badly!

Terrible financial accounting and poor management. Will charge fees after moving out for regular wear and tear that are massively excessive. Dont let the cheap prices fool you, they charge extra for things that should be included in rent, a nearly $30 eco fee which is just a recycling bin(which they could never tell me where it was when asked...). I know how much those cost and they are hugely profiting on that if theyre charging everybody that amount. If they could just be honest and state what it will cost to rent instead of hiding behind surprise fees you probably wont find out about until you sign your lease.Lived here for 10 years, and even though the carpet needed replacing WHEN I MOVED IN, they still charged me $160 for carpet cleaning. That carpet looked GREAT. I left that apartment better than I received it. All my effort to maintain it when their maintenance crew wouldnt(I dont consider my experiences with the maintenance effort it was bare minimum to keep the building to code and bare essentials) I went 10 years with a malfunctioning oven because after multiple calls lead them to wiggling the burner around until it heated... which didnt fix it because you couldnt put a pot on it. Also spent an entire September without AC!They were fixing the roof but didnt bother to tell any of the residents! 90+degrees in that apartment and they offered box fans... BOX FANS!!! Offer me a window AC unit. It was torturous! I feel betrayed. Also, since they failed to charge me something for almost a year, demanded I pay in one fell swoop. $800+ total. THEN sent me to collections. TERRIBLE place now that Elevate purchased it. Shady and poor business practices abound. RUN AWAY!!!

I dont even know where to start with how awful it has been to live here. My husband and moved in two years ago and the only regret I have bigger than resigning the lease for a second year is that we ever even signed with them. Our very first night moving in we realized the heater didnt work. It was the middle of Dec and only 55 degrees in our apartment. Upon calling emergency maintenance, we were asked to stay somewhere else for the night bc he didnt want to come out. We refused, so he came out and tinkered around a bit. Then he told us our furnace was fine and left. We slept in 55 degrees that very first night bc he didnt fix it. The next morning we called again. He came back our and magically found the problem and fixed it. We soon realized that our dishwasher wasnt working either. So for 13 months we put in request to have fixed and for 13 months it was jetcleaned and labeled as working just fine. Finally, 14 months later they actually looked into what could be causing the problem. He must have been embarrassed to find out a pump had been broken the entire time bc when we asked him what the problem was he snapped back at is that we could just call the office if we wanted to know what was happening with it. We are on the 3rd floor and also had a leak in our bathroom ceiling. When maintenance came out, he poked holes in the ceiling with his pen and told is to let it all drain into the bathtub until it dried out. Then he would come back to patch the ceiling. After 6 weeks of waiting with holes in our ceiling we called to find out why they hadnt fixed it yet. On that call, o was informed that someone had cancelled the request. Who would ever cancel a request to have a leaking ceiling repaired?! The patch job he did was awful and they still never confirmed where the leak was coming from. October of our first year here, we realized our furnace closet was pooling with water. We had them come out twice before the finally had a professional company come out. At that time we were told that they closet wasnt getting enough air ventilation so the condensation was just building up. We asked what could be done about that bc the wood is cracked and bowing and we had concerns about mold. Its over a year later and still the best offer they have given us is our very own bottle of moldex and some water proof paint to put down when its dry enough. Weve gone to the office about our concerns for the past two years. We have had to reiterate our experience to four different property managers and not a single one of them has given us a reasonable solution. Now we are in November of 2018, I am 38 weeks pregnant and have found mold growing under our sink. I tried calling emergency maintenance since the office is closed for the holiday. He didnt answer so I left a voicemail. No call back. My friend tried calling (hoping they would answer since we seem to have such bad luck with them), she also got their voicemail but didnt leave message. He called her back immediately. So I gave it another shot. Finally got an answer, and thats when he told me that mold is not considered an emergency and Ill have to wait till Monday. It is in our lease that we have to inform them of mold. And what happens when we do? We are told to ignore it for another three days. This is only a portion of the issues and disrespect we have encountered in our time here. I cant wait to move out next month. My biggest fear about going into labor right now is that I will have to bring my newborn child back to such an unsafe living environment for a few weeks before we can move. The office staff and maintenance is rude and incapable of caring for you or your family. If you care about yourself and your loved ones find a safer place to live, where they actually care about the individuals living in each unit. At Camelot Village you are just another rent check for their pockets.

Bed bug infested! It takes 2 months for the management to call us back and blamed us that we brought the bed bugs in. Lived here for 20 yrs with no problems, then Seldin sold the property to Elevate Living and thats when all problems started. Rude office management, poor maintenance.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. I cant even list how many things went wrong while living here, to name a few my plumbing backed up and flooded my apartment not once but three times. Each time they refused to shampoo my carpet, just gave me fans which only increased my electricity bills. They never came and fixed what they said they would. The pool was never opened during the times it was suppose to be and they were always raising rent. Now that I moved out, they charged me an outrageous amount to fix the damages in my apartment. Which half of the stuff they never came and fixed while I was there. I would not recommend living here.

Was about to apply here, because my friend lived here and seemed to be having a good experience. The week before I submitted my application his AC went out. At my current place I went for over a month without it AC July-August last year, so I am very leery about this.I checked back later that week to see if it had been taken care of and it hadnt. I decided not to apply. Heres the problem, that was almost a month ago and I visited last night and my buddy still didnt have AC. It was 84, humid as hell, his new card table was sagging in the middle, because the humility ruined it. When I left around 11pm, the security lights were, which I believe is illegal.Anyway, if you care about timeliness, I would suggest looking elsewhere.

Looking for a new apartment. Upon reading all these reviews Im amazed that the owners dont try to attempt to remedy some of the dissatisfaction. Wow, it doesnt get much worse. Dont even want to look at this pint.

My sink was clogged and they repaired it hours after I put it in a work order. I was very pleased.

Owed 2,000$ for damage from sublease (that is ok as I signed for it) I was late once for payment for the previous damage and they didnt notify me and make or make an attempt to notify me before turning it pver to collections. As there were two names on the lease, I was the only one paying. They gave the collectors the wrong social security information, wrong address, and date of birth. If I had not paid it, I would not have been notified of any debt from the collections as all the information was wrong. This was my last payment and I frequently made double payments. I hope the managers read this and fire their staff.

The fitness center onsite, is a great amenity, however, repeatedly (each visit) you have to ask Camelot Staff to replenish the water jug in the fitness center. This is unfortunate, considering the rent is a bit pricey.
