When moving in the cleanliness of the bathrooms were poor, dishwasher had rusty racks, garbage disposal in the sink is broken. No dryer vent to hook up the dryer in the utility room, and last the Cox wifi router that I was told would already be in there wasnt and which it going to cost me extra to obtain one. This is even more irritating because I was told this would all be done before I moved in.
This is a super nice area if you want to live somewhere peaceful with friendly environment. The staff are super friendly, cooperative, and always care about youre personal needs. I have a few mental health disabilities (the biggest one being austim). When I came in to give the manager my doctors note, they were very understanding of my personal needs, and yes they love it when my dog comes in for a visit to see all the office members!! Shes usually pretty good with people, quiet, never barks, and loves coming up to greet the staff members.I will also say from my experience as a women living in the apartment complex, Ive haventbeen sexuallycatcalled or harassed at all after living here for a year and 9 months. I believe this is really important to note. Because as a women myself, Ive been harrassed quite frequently. Im very happy my experience here there hasnt been any harrassment. I really do recommend this place for anyone who wants to move here.
Staff was friendly every time I spoke with them. They accepted my application when several apartments denied me. The complex itself always stayed clean and well kept. Over all great experience. 10 out of 10, would live here again :)
My air conditioner went out the office and he maintenance crew was on it before I return home that evening. It was great just in time for the beginning of hot days ahead. Thank you very much. great job !!!
We’ve lived here over 4 years. We’ve always paid on time. We don’t cause any trouble. I was recently diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease. Which affects your gait and walk. I’m very susceptible to falling. I’m getting to be where I am unable to safely use the stairs (we live on second floor) and my daughter called to try and get us moved down to a first floor. They said our rent would be raised $100 and that we would have to pay all the fees again. Why raise our rent? We’re not moving for fun! I have a disability. We understand the fees and would pay those, but higher rent? They refuse to work with us at all. We can’t afford to pay more especially since this wasn’t expected. Taking advantage of the disabled and being greedy is not a good business model. Our current rent being moved to another apartment and you seeking our apartment for more would be the same as us staying in this one and you selling the other for more. Same money either way. You would think they would be more accommodating since it’s a safety issue, but they don’t care. If I fall down the stairs they will care then.
The move in was awesome! i love being here so far! the staff has been extremely nice to me & the neighbors were also very welcoming!!!
I had a good experience living at Prairie Springs. My apartment was comfortable and I always felt safe. The office people were always friendly and helpful. I never had a problem finding a parking space.
Great move in overall. Just a few maintenance issues. As soon as they are resolved, I’ll be thrilled with my new place.
If I could give more than a 5 star rating, I would! The office staff and maintenance are very attentive and incredibly kind. I appreciate the gated area and location of the property. Although I have had some issues with loud neighbors and speeding cars, the security staff handled these issues beautifully. Everything about my living situation made me comfortable and I adore the nature aspect of the property as well.Highly recommend! Family-friendly, pet-friendly, senior citizen- friendly.
Went to report needing washer hook up and went to apt afterward and everything was already done including changing power cord for dryer. Awesome!!!! Thanks so much
Micheal helped us with all the paperwork. He was very friendly and helpful with any questions we had. Hes very professional, friendly, and has a great personality. Were so happy we decided on Prairie Springs for our new home.
Easy move in. Staff was very helpful. Recommended to two friends.
Michael, Ashley, and Hailey were super nice and helpful with everything related to application and move in. We had a few hiccups with their online pay portal, but Michael was very patient and helpful with trying to figure that out.
It’s really quite here so far and the neighbors seem to all have good etiquette and the apartment is really clean there’s already a WiFi box in the apartment which is soooo nice
I put in 2 requests and they were completed quickly and efficiently.
Put a maintenance request in and they got to it the very next day. thank you very much! I appreciate all the work you guys do!!
It is a quiet neighborhood very well maintained. Michael is always fantastic to respond to any issues. The office is always friendly and there are usually cookies.😁The office is great at responding to any maintenance requests and needs. Maintenance did do some updates pre-covid that are janky, in my opinion, and now with covid my garbage disposal hasnt worked in months, non-essential? 🤷🏼♀️
The maintenance crew did a great Job! Please till them we appreciate them very much . Thankful Danny & Denise Esposito
I feel if I’m paying rent every month. I should be able to have a sufficient amount of parking. Many times I would have to park buildings away cause there wasn’t any parking available at or near my building. Plus with the income based housing next to the property, there have been more car break-ins. Mine included back in February. In my opinion, a wall/gate should’ve been built to separate the 2 properties. On multiple occasions I had to call security cause residents from the adjacent property were on PS property fighting on the hood of parked cars outside of my building. Or either running through cars chasing one another, etc. neighbors have also experienced residents from adjacent property using the dog park, and pools that PS residents pay for!! Had this property not been built next to PS I would honestly still be a resident. Because other than that, parking was my only other issue.
We lived in a wonderful three bed while our house was being built, it was a wonderful experience all around. Peaceful complex, friendly staff, wonderful unit. Closets were huge, perfect for us, and it was during the summer so the pool was certainly enjoyed! Thank you for making this transition easy for us!!
There is a lot. Read before move in. We loved the apartments when we moved in, but over time the issues have gotten collectively worse. Stairwells in the building 12 crumble and sway even though they’ve made repairs. The outside of each of the apartments look bad. They’re not upkept. (Paint, doors, etc) front doors have a wide gap from improper sealing. When we moved into our apartment the previous tenant had really done a number on the place. The apartment had to replace a lot of things, but left a considerable amount wrong/in tatters. It was just cosmetic and they wouldn’t fix it, so we sent over 100 pictures in an email to them for record keeping that have now been lost. Since so much time went by our personal email got rid of the email and it appears they never printed them out for our file. When we asked them how move out would go because of that they said it was on us to provide proof... no accountability on their end. The office has stopped accepting packages and stopped doing routine maintenance because of covid. The package thing is an issue because the local post office is a nightmare to deal with. Considering the fact that you still have to pay rent, I feel like no amenities or routine things like that should’ve been cut off. Since your rent pays for those things. The gates are frequently broken. There is a group of criminals that roam the apartment complex and break into cars. PS won’t setup another gate between the new apartments they just built so having our gates is virtually pointless. The office workers are very nice, but they can’t fix very many issues. You’re met with a lot of red tape. Overall, it’s just not worth the price. Yes the grounds are kept up, and it looks very pretty, but there are things wrong here that aren’t getting fixed.
Great move in experience. Nikki was very professional and answered all my questions.
I feel very safe in these apartments and maintenance has always responded same day, even during the pandemic! wont find service like that at other apartments. staff are all friendly
The neon bulbs were replaced quickly and he came out much sooner than expected. Thanks for such quick service
The office associates are very sweet and helpful. When putting in maintenance requests they, make sure it is done in a timely manner. Very clean apartments no bugs, no mice but was some spiders and wasps. Maintenance even came and took wasps nest and wasps away very impressed. Loved having home here. Only reason moved is because I was on 3rd floor and now have a garage that I dont have to pay extra for. My daughter lives here too and happy to know she is in a safe and great environment. Also love the fact if ordering packages and your not home they are delivered to office for you to pick up. If you need a place to call home these apts are great came see Katie she is so sweets shell make you feel like your at home.
Short story:(I’m a new tenant) After moving in, I began to notice dog hairs in the carpet. I spoke with the Managers & they offered to wash the carpets again & after a few washes, the hairs were still present and very annoying. After coming in and inspecting themselves, they offered to replace the carpet in the entire apartment. Keep in mind the current carpet in the apartment was fairly new & overall good condition. just had lots of dog hairs in it. (So I knew this wasn’t typical for carpet to be replaced that was in such good condition) but I did communicate and let them know that the hairs were a health concern for me & my family (I have really bad allergies). Long story short the management was very prompt and professional with getting my problems solved! Overall Great Experience!! & they definitely made my comfort & health a priority (Not all complexes do).
I am still waiting for a solution to the problem. When the problem is solved, I will have more to say. Problem solved partly. Now I have all the bad orders and dirty water standing in my dishwasher. Was getting ready to wash dishes and found that. Am wait on a maintenance man to come and fix. Took 4 days the last time. Wonder how long it will take this time.
Beautiful place and quiet.....I love it! Ill be here for years to come!
Very very nice apartments Quite and managements great, and would recommend anyone 2 live out here. From the dog park, 2 pools great view and neighbors or quite. Great place 2 rise kids as well
Overall not a bad place to live. Top two biggest issues are parking (way too little spaces) and maintenance requests take a bit unless you have leak.
Great place to stay. Friendly staff and neighbors. Very quiet and awesome amenities. I wouldn’t mind moving back in the future.
Came in a timely matter and fixed my issues. Great complex. Happy i moved here
I never post but Ive lived here for a few years and they have never been less than caring and attentive. I feel like the maintenance staff has been the biggest improvement in the past year or 2. Its never been an issue but the new staff really work with you and take pride in their work.
--Move In Review (3 Stars) 6-19-2020--I just moved in yesterday. I like the place so far, but I did have some issues that in my opinion could have been avoided if they had told me to move in a week later. The day I was scheduled to move in they had Maintenance fixing some tiles in the bathroom. Im glad they were fixing it, but I would have liked some notice that they needed another few days to fix some things. Also they decided to shampoo the carpet the same morning I was supposed to move in. I like this place very much but that is not good planning. How am I supposed to move in my things while the carpet is soaking wet? I know from shampooing my own carpet, it needs a full 24 hours to really dry, sometimes longer. There is only 1 ceiling fan and since it was raining like crazy I could not really open the windows to let anything dry. But I like the people and I like the layout and price of the apartment, I would just have preferred a different move in date if they still had things to fix and clean.--First Maintenance Review (5 Stars) 7-2-2020--I had my first maintenance request fulfilled. I put in 3 requests around midnight on the 6th, and by noon on the 7th the maintenance people had come in and fixed everything! They called me before entering, fixed all 3 of my issues, and left the place clean and no evidence they had been there (I was not home at the time). I am super happy with the work they did and the speed was phenomenal.
This was my first time renting anywhere and I loved Prairie Springs Apartments!! The office people are super friendly. They were very patient with all my first time renting questions. I would definitely recommend this apartment complex!!!
My request was taken care of promptly and we were very satisfied with the outcome. The repairman was courteous and neat with his work and once again went the extra mile in taking care of our needs. Thank you.
We have lived here for about a year and a half and Prairie Springs has always been the best in everything. The office employees are the nicest and quick to help in any way they can! Y’all are the best and wouldn’t want to live anywhere else!!
Corrected the problem promptly. Very quick response and work finished.
Maintenance answered my service order with in two hours. very professional. Thank You!
The day we found Prairie Springs, we fell in love with it right away. Its quiet, the neighbors are friendly and the staff are quick to answer your questions, they are awesome! I love the interior with white walls & big windows, you can see the open space. I feel safe here, nobody knocks on your door unlike our old ranch house. Maintenance is pretty good, hopefully quicker but we are always patient to wait. My only remark is during the summer, I hope they clean up the swimming pools really good because some tiles are broken and not so clean, needs some scrubbing. Overall I rate them 4/5.
Pros:-its pretty, esp in the summer-location is convenient-office staff are consistently friendly/polite-maintenance staff is respectful-obviously, I dont know about all the units/floorplans but my kitchen and pantry were nice, plus lots of windows if you like sunlight or seeing the pretty property with all of the other residents coming and goingcons:-SO MANY BREAK-INS!! our car got broken into twice and nextdoor is full of people reporting vehicular and residential break-ins-management is aware but refuses to do anything to make the property more secure-the security patrol is one guy parking at/driving around multiple properties on a regular schedule so not super useful-the gate is broken/stopped open more often than it is functional-they stopped accepting packages when covid hit, ya know, when people had a need to receive packages, and carriers wont leave them outside an apartment-parking is insufficient; there are no assigned spots (although I do believe you can pay extra for a garage) but theres not enough parking by or between buildings. you could end up parking a way off from your own unit which is fine a lot of the time but can really suck if you need to do something like unload groceries/move furniture or if you work on your feet and dont get off until late. To boot, management takes A G E S to remove non-functioning vehicles-pet waste stations are frequently out of bags and are far away from the sidewalk which would only be a minor issue except that the grass between them floods every time it rains or they turn the sprinkler on-management shirks their responsibilities as landlords - they completely ignore standard residential conflicts, like exceptionally loud neighbors and unleashed dogs and residents damaging other residents vehicles, and if another resident/unit causes damage to yours, theyll ignore you about it for months and then bill YOU when they finally get around to it instead of going after the person who caused the damage or sucking it up themselves-rent increases with every lease renewal. I understand this may be standard practice but living there got worse over time so we were paying more for less which is pretty frustrating-management is unresponsive; phone calls are answered maybe 40% of the time, emails maybe 5% so you pretty much HAVE to go into the office if you need anything even if its just a simple question (at least in my experience, maybe I just got super unlucky with timing or something)
The office and the maintenance team have always gone above and beyond to make sure any issues/challenges I have, are addressed and taken care of. I have been in my current apartment for seven years now and I don’t have a single negative thing to say.
Three days ago I emailed the front office for replacement items, light bulbs, po box key, etc., and have yet to hear back from them. Be warned, once under contract, customer service takes a nose dive and this is what you can expect. They are inordinately new customer oriented, woe be it to someone who already signed the dotted line and expected timely customer service..
I’ve lived here twice within the past 8 years. Amazing experience. The rent is fair. The area is quiet. The office staff is Absolutely Amazing. So friendly, and always eager to assist. The maintenance crew is prompt to address my concerns, and for that I’m grateful.I highly recommend living here. Lots of lease options for a variety of floor plans.I will renew again!
Have lived here 2 years. Office staff is excellent. Maintenance is done in a timely manner. No problem with parking and no problem with noise. All in all I am very happy living here.
Everyone is super friendly and helpful. Moving in can be hectic, but they make it a little easier
We moved here back in April (2017) from council place apartments. Both are case and associates but prairie springs is leaps and bounds better than council place. Personally I have not had problems with management. I treat people with respect and people usually treat me with respect because of that, so I have no issues with them at all. Darlene and Margo are both wonderful to work with and always want to help. My husband had Margo as an apartment manager at a different case and associates complex and loved having her then. We live in a two bed two bath third story. It’s about 1175 square feet. We love it! It’s bright, open, and has plenty of room and the price matches what we got. We plan on being here for a while!
I absolutely love this place. The office staff is kind and helpful, maintenance has responded very quickly. I work a lot and all hours of the day and night but no matter what time I come home I feel completely safe...
I just moved in two days ago and I must say I am in love with the place. The office staff is absolutely wonderful. They were informative, quick, precise, and very helpful from the very beginning when I toured the place a month ago to today when I turned in the move in inspection sheet. The neighborhood is gated and quiet and the outside is well kept. The inside of my apartment is the most cleanest I have ever seen an apartment. I am a germaphobe and normally I am terrified that something I know was cleaned was not cleaned well enough, so I end up cleaning it again, but this place, I did not get that feeling of needing to reclean when I moved in. It is exactly like the model show room they showed me a month ago. The apartment already came with a cox cable modem which was a bit of a downside because I have to turn my other one back into cox since the cable modem that came with the place is the one that is supposed to be used (I called Cox about it). But other than that, I really have no complaints. My kitten loves it here. She has a nice view of the pond with the fountains which keeps her entertained all night. I am happy to call this place my home!
Don’t move to this appointment, you will Need the maintenance every week to fix something and when they come to fix they will damage other things, very baaaaad
Moving from a four bedroom house was not an easy process for me but in the end it was the best decision I have ever made. I love Prairie Springs Apartments!!First of all, one thing that is very important to me is that I feel safe and I do here. The security Guard doesnt just do a quick drive thru to get his job done he really takes his time and looks over everything. You can tell he takes his job seriously and I notice that and appreciate it.Secondly, the maintenance personnel is quick to get repairs done especially when it is an emergency. They are very friendly and helpful.Thirdly the property is gorgeous and very well maintained. I also like that is very well lit at night.Last but not least the front office staff is amazing and so friendly. They are always there for anything you need with a smile on their faces especially Katherine!! She is very helpful, funny and always puts a smile on my face. Great job Katherine!! Great place to live!!!!!
Safe, Quiet, Great ValueIve been in Oklahoma for one year at these apartments but I have lived in 6 different states and have had a number of apartment experiences. I can say that, without a doubt, this is the best value in Oklahoma City. The area is close to most everything you need to get to and is very safe. Some apartments in the area are nearly twice the cost of this one or are overrun with crime. After living here one year I have seen very little undesirable issues and the community seems to be friendly and close-knit. Everybody I have met here is friendly and seems to all desire a peaceful quiet place to live and, for me at least, that is most important. Nobody here seems to be rude, nobody blast there stereos or speeds through the community. It seems like everybody here is committed to keeping this community safe and friendly. It has the feeling of a small town community, which I thought was normal when I move to Oklahoma, but I have not seen that at any other apartments even just down the road from this one.The office staff here is also 2nd to none. The whole office staff is sweet, always smiling, and try to accommodate every individual resident as if they were a friendly neighbor. They seem to embody the atmosphere of this whole community.I reside in one of the one-bedroom units and it is definitely an apartment but the layout is great and the fireplaces, which are functional, are a nice touch. I personally appreciate the efficiency and the quietness of the central heating and air conditioning. Covered parking is also available for $20 a month which I think is very reasonable and seems sturdy enough for hail.I highly recommend this community if you are looking for a good value, a safe and neighborly atmosphere, and an attentive and incredibly sweet office staff.pros:-safe-quiet-great price-great variety of floor plans-sweet staff-clean grounds-2 workout rooms that are decent and have bathroom/water fountains in themcons:-could use more covered parking-no on-site storage available that i know of unless you get a garage although each unit has a storage closet-a stray cat population, but I blame the people who feed them
The place is nice and peaceful. The community is huge, I walk around the community at night. Good spacious apartments. The Northwest highway is quarter mile away, so technically you can any place near you.Happy to have found this community.###### Editing a review after a year.I had some concerns after I left the community, but the management was very prompt in addressing those concerns. They called me and sent me a check for referral, liked the way they handled this concern. Also they management is very responsible and wants to improve the housing experience of the tenants. I am pretty sure they are doing their best to upscale that.Would love to come back to this community and would refer anyone to this nice community. Thanks,Sanket
Ive lived here for over a year now. My husband and I really like the complex. We managed to get an upper level apartment that had bran new carpet installed which was big plus. We like that there are washer and dryer unit plug-ins. The neighbors are nice and quiet and I think its overall a respectable apartment complex. Theres even a dog park although I do wish there was a playground for the kids. However, I do have a few complaints. First big one is that the back gate of the apartment complex never seems to stay closed. This was even after a newer gate system had been installed. I hate to think that Im paying $ for the gate just for it to not work.I think youre also sacrificing on some storage space for a slightly bigger unit. We live in a two bed, 2 bath and while having two bathrooms is nice, theres not a lot of closet space in either of the closets. There was also a time when a maintenance man came in without my permission but that hasnt happened since I complained to the management. We were also confused as to why rent was increased. Management said it was due to keeping up with the rising cost of living but that could have easily been tacked on to very new tenants instead of tenants who have lived there for a couple years.
Easy...very helpful and the places are very nice
I have lived here for almost 6 years and it has been a wonderful experience. This is my home. The apartments are very spacious. There have been some management changes over the years but they have been very helpful. I would recommend checking out Prairie Springs.
Love it here, for the most part. There are a couple of negatives, like the fools speeding down the hill from the back gate, who apparently forget there are others that live here who MIGHT be outside walking their dogs...HOWEVER, I give the rest of Prairie Springs & Employees! high marks! I really only wish they had given us.a.chance.to.repair damage to kitchen.wall &.mayne.door.frames.as.well
Not sure why there are many bad reviews. Have loved living here, and I have lived at at least 2 other Case & Associates properties. The office workers I love most are Katherine and Margo, as they are always so nice and eager to help me with any issues! My third floor apartment is even more lovely with its large feel and tall ceilings. The office is always being upgraded to better for their tenants needs, and the landscaping and trash is always being picked up. They even send out friendly reminders to have people pick up their pets waste, which I 100% support. They even offer a way for you to pay online if that helps for people. I personally would recommend Prairie Springs to anyone!
I would rate these apartments a little higher however maintenance here is terrible. My apartment wasn’t ready when I moved in and I was told it’ll be a week until maintenance would be here to fix things. It took almost a month before I could even get a microwave in my unit. Among many issues in my apartment the tile moves once you step on it plus it’s been a weird sewer smell coming through my vents. I’ve reported it at least four times now and still nothing has been done. Imagine that waking you up every morning! It’s been a month in so far here if the up keep was better I’d have no complaints.
Always takes care of my requests in a timely fashion, and are super friendly to deal with. Cant ask for more.
Been here since December . Love this place. People are awesome. Repairs are done fast and they are always willing to go the extra mile. Only complaint I have is there are some individuals that refuse to pickup after their dogs. Management is trying but always the fever that won’t comply.
The apartment that I was shown before I rented was much nicer than my apartment. Of course you can not see your apartment before you move in, and then you are under lease. My apartment is okay but very outdated and also not shown as the images that you can look at. No microwave and overall everything looks old and out of style. No way near the gourmet kitchen that they say that the apartments have. It is clean and I plan to stay for my year, but do not know if I would have leased here if I had seen my apartment, not the one that I was shown. Some of the doors do not close right and I was almost locked in the bathroom because the door knob was almost impossible to turn. I would say that you need to think about it before you lease here.
EDIT: My HVAC has finally been fixed! Margo and Junior were very helpful in getting this done.I have submitted 7 requests for my HVAC to be fixed and they only temporarily fix it each time.
Four stars only because it is a tad pricey, but otherwise I LOVE these apartments! Ive lived here over a year, in a large 2Bed2Bath in Phase 2. I have a garage, which is extra but worth it since I have a sports car I want to protect. The community is quiet and safe and everyone is friendly. Ive lived in many other apartment complexes around OKC, and this one is far and away the best. Vaulted third floor apartment ceilings, roomy, lots of space (1,100 sq ft.). Im going to live here until I buy a house!
We are among newer residents here, and so far so good! I can say that our apartment is nice as well as the complex. We havent ran into any issues with anything yet and hopefully we dont. I do really like that management is quick with response to issues, questions and concerns. They definitely make sure that we are taken care of.
I’ve lived here for over a year and while I love my apartment itself I am continually disappointed by the incompetence and complete lack of care offered by management. If you value your issues being heard by management I would not recommend signing a lease here. They claim to have after hours maintenance and that they have 24/7 maintenance orders that can be placed online yet you never get work orders done unless you call several times and that’s after calling without an answer a few times before you finally get a hold of someone. Michael and Katie really need to step it up.
I just toured with Michael on Wednesday and although I am not moving in until next year he still took the time to show me around and discuss my every need.
The staff is very friendly and helpful, maintenance has been efficient and prompt. Would recommend.
Do not move here. The Maintenance is absolutely terrible. One guy for the ENTIRE complex, they like to mention they have on an on call maintenance guy for after hours but I feel like theyve never once called that guy themselves, the dude tries SO hard to get you off the phone and to avoid speaking to you. It has taken them over a week to fix the smallest things at times. The office staff is rarely helpful and most of them give different answers because none of them are on the same page.My car has never been broken into before moving into this complex. In 6 months my car has been involved in a hit and run, 2 window smashings, 1 theft and vandalism. Ive never lived in such a poorly run apartment complex and the staff is too busy being passive aggressive towards you than provide an ounce of empathy.
Multiple months in a row theyve tried claiming rent wasnt paid in full, or was paid late, despite multiple phone calls verifying payments had gone through, and being assured multiple times, ive recieved ridiculous late fees and eviction notices, they arent on top of their paper work, no one in the office knows whats going on, the same company owns multiple complexes in the area, research before renting from this ridiculous company.
I have recently moved here and this place is very peaceful, has nice neighbors and the staff is always very nice to answer my questions and help. They threw a pool party and I was able to meet some other residents who said theyve also enjoyed it here. One of my favorite things is the nice landscaping, plenty of trees and parking.
Beautiful apartment community! This place is GI-NORMOUS! 😮😮😮👌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌 Severaleral floor plans to choose from...multiple locations...and 3 story and garages! 👀Check them out! Id have to say by fay the best Case and Associates Property in the metro as of yet! 😎👌👍
Amazing place to live. My dog loves it here. Lot of other friendly dogs in the community. Large open spaces. Quick response on maintanence. Great staff.
These apartments are mediocre at best. The worst part about this place is management and trying to get them to do anything correctly. Basically if you want to live here you have to do everyone’s job for them during the move in/move out process.
Absolutely love my LARGE, bright open floor plan 1BD apartment! Fairly new to the property but just had to share! The staff are Amazing! They are professional and friendly (Margot, Darlene, Ross, Cruz - just to name a few)! They handle maintenance issues promptly, call when you have packages and will even assist you with it to your car or apartment. I moved from the Trails at Rockwell and couldnt be happier. The convenience to NW Expressway is everything anyone could ask for!
Repairman is great
I really like it here. Ive lived here for a little over 2 years now. Overall, very nice complex; clean and quite. I do have one complaint though. I recently renewed my lease and was told that I could get a free carpet cleaning. However, one month prior, my dog got sick forcing me to clean the carpet myself. So when I resigned the lease, I didnt need it that month. So I waited to the next month to ask for my free service. I was told that since I didnt get it done in the very same month I signed, I would no longer be eligible unless I was willing to allow them to come that very same day I called to inquire. I informed the manager that I wasnt ready that day but I could be 2 days later. I was told too bad and that I could pay for the service if I choose since I couldnt allow them right then. To me, it shouldnt matter whether I received the service in the same month of renewal or the next. That should have been made clear to me since the info isnt in writing ANYWAY. Also, I wish I had waited two days later to call, maybe then I would have gotten it cleaned since they COULD do it the day I called. Whats the difference?
I just recently moved out and I had issues with the office staff from the 1st week I moved in until now. They were constantly misinforming me and acted as if they could care less about issues that we had. It irritates me that even after all the I still owed money to the complex (even after they took my deposit), for things that were never explained to me. I can say that Misha was great and did her best to help, but even at times it seems that the information provided was invalid.
Been living here for a couple of months now! i like it alot. i worked in property management for a long time and i can recognize a good property from a bad one and they are doing a great job!
They go about their own terms when it is time to renew your lease. Increases your lease term and rent without any reason on each renewal.
Did a great job. Wonderful and very polite. A great worker. Thank you😊😊
My mother and I have lived at Prairie Springs for 5 years now. We both love this place. After recent thunderstorms I noticed that rain had got in and soaked my carpet. We informed them Saturday morning and by 1pm they had fixed the problem. Mary who works in the office was very helpful and understanding and Cruz who is in maintenance is always around to help us out. We never have had to wait more than 24 hours when we had a problem. I highly recommend Prairie Springs.
Hello, My name is Chrystal Phea. I have lived at Prairie Springs Apartments since 2008 and I love it here. Its a very safe and friendly community. The fitness center is great and the landscaping it beautiful. I dont plan on moving anytime soon.
Went here today with my fiance to learn more about the complex and rates and everything. To my surprise, there was nothing warm about our welcome. The lady that helped us was completely rude and when we asked questions, she acted as if we were stupid and hardly answered them. We were not shown around or told about what they offer either. If 0 stars was an offer, thats what Id really like to give.
Great help with move in details.
My husband and I moved into Prairie Springs apartments in 2015. We communicated with the management prior to moving that we had some special needs. We needed a first floor apartment with no stairs and close parking which could be reserved if necessary. These were all in place when we arrived and our apartment is on the first floor with a garage attached attached. After that we had a lot of minor repairs which we placed onto the apartment website. These were usually corrected within 24 hours. We did make multiple requests on some of the items. On five separate occasions we experienced water leaks which required immediate remediation. One was caused by a company installing our washing machine. Other leaks were caused by broken water pipes in the walls of apartments above us. Twice we opened our garage door to find the garage was flooding from water above us. The worst was about midnight and we were in bed when suddenly water began pouring into the room. It came gushing down from the ceiling fan, (directly above our bed) through air ducts, and any other route possible. The water flooded our bedroom, ruined our new king-sized mattress and our drapes. This is when I learned that apartments dont pay for things like this. Your renters insurance may pay, but first meet your deductible. Ours was $1,000 but that is now $500 per incidentSince then the manager returned and things turned around! Now I can get an answer to e-mail the same day. They follow up on repairs the day after we requested them. The manager is competent and had a meeting with us the 2nd or 3rd day after she returned from leave. I know this is how it should have been handled but inexperience has to be learned.
The straw that broke the camels back. (Im a 30 year old vet that has not had a complaint) When I moved in as a college student I was promised a discount, but I didnt have my badge until a week later so I got the run around until I was denied it. Im a grown man that pays for the pool like everyone else and now we have to have wristbands as if Im going to White Water Bay. I walk by that pool all the time for the gym and mail, and I never see the so called traffic at the pool that caused this silly rule.(two guests pur house) So if you like promises, a social life, and have a big family this is not the place for you.
I really enjoy living here. Very quiet.
I love living here, feel safe & great maintenance team!
The staff was excellent and very helpful. The apartment is nice and quiet. Would definitely recommend moving here.
The complex itself is decent. Phase 2 is newer and somewhat nice. Still a bit overpriced. I only lived here for about 8 months or so while building a house. The thing that makes the apartment so bad is management. They treat you like you live in a section 8 ghetto complex. Keep in mind I was paying $900 or so a month for a two bedroom apartment which had nasty carpet when I moved in. When I inquired about the carpet they told me it was clean and they didnt need to replace it. Then came time to check and out I had to make sure I had pictures and documentation that the carpet was messed up when I came in.If you are looking for an apartment now I would suggest going to the new ones on Memorial, you may pay a few bucks more a month but at least you wont have horrible management to deal with. The longer we lived there the more ghetto it became as well. The residents got worse and worse. My car was keyed by some young teenagers, neighbors partied, and we had some rednecks who used their front porch like it was their lawn and left out all their stuff and cigarette smoking chairs. Management did nothing about any of these issues when we inquired. Also, they dont require renters insurance. At least as of when I was there. Either way I know I needed it in case of a fire or break in. I was going to just use my Farmers guy but they referred me to a State Farm agent in the area. He was a joke, I could never get ahold of him to take care of my policy. I ended up going with an Allstate agent who was around the corner and it was 10x easier. He insures tons of people in that complex he said and was very familiar with how management worked and the complex itself. On a positive note, the maintenance staff is A+. Couldnt be an nicer. I had a guy named Armando who helped me out with a few issues and he was great.I hate to leave such a bad review, and time permitting it couldve been worse but Id rather save someone the trouble of moving in if I can.
I’ve currently lived at this property for the past 3 yrs+ and WOULDNT recommend future residents because of the following reason since the change in the management teams I’ve had many issues with late or unworked work orders, overpriced for a basic unit, FALSE noise complaints the management team failed to investigate this matter and threatened enviction even after being notified the complaints were false these allegations were never witness by management nor the after hrs security officers, the concept of a gated community is a lie there is a gate that runs along one side with the apartments (false advertisement) with lead to higher crime thefts the gates are ALWAYS not working, poor staff Margo refused to speak with me requarding my concerns sending other coworkers to relay messages she also failed to resolve or come up with a solution for the false noise complaints, I’ve has a package stolen from the mailroom Glenia confirmed their were serveral delivery packages stolen from the mail room while the office was left unattended, since I’ve moved to the property I’ve always paid my rent on the 4th and was never charged a LC however this month I was, once again Margo refused to speak with me regarding this matter sending coworkers to relay messages Glenia told me I was just lucky the other months and the circumstances are different this month..This will be reported to the BBB
Checked on the previous quote from the APT office, it did offer the original price listed, but on my second visit, we made an deal on a lower price according to the website, so the website price is not the real price you got.
I have been living there for over 6 months now and this has been a great apartment experience! The ladies in the office have been extremely helpful each time I go in. The security is also good there and very much appreciated.
I have lived here almost 3 years in May. I have had a great experience with the office staff & maintance. If you have a request for maintance to come out they come out that day if they are able to. Morgan the assistant manager is great. Dont know the other managers name yet. I have only met one of my neighbors but other than that I am quiet & stay to myself. But once summer comes I will go out to the pool & meet some people out there. If you are needing a place to live please consider here
I dont know why they offer a gym when its a hike from from parking, as well as garbage dropoff. Getting stronger everyday. #prairiefit
My wife and I lived here from August 2015 to July 2016, in the phase 2 section, the newer units on the back side of the complex. It’s in a quiet area, accessible, and fairly well maintained. However, after a year of living here, I can say that it was without a doubt the worst living experience we’ve ever had.I could complain about the parking and roads through the complex, since the garages create so many unsafe blind corners that it’s amazing there aren’t accidents every day. Every corner practically needs mirrors, but there are only two that I know of, by the second clubhouse. It’s dangerous, especially without speedbumps to slow traffic down as they round a blind corner. I could complain about the interior of the apartment, with the mismatched light fixtures, bright orange stained cabinets, and the walls and trim painted the same pinkish-beige. The interior of the apartment just feels old.But these complaints are minor compared to the reason we moved out. When our air conditioner was running, mostly in the evenings, it smelled like sewage was being pumped straight into the apartment. It didn’t smell like a dead animal, it didn’t smell like mildew or pet odor. It smelled like raw sewage. I submitted a maintenance request to have it fixed, and the first guy that came out didn’t have a fix for me beyond offering to put air fresheners in the ducts, which he didn’t do. Later that same night, after he had supposedly tried to fix the problem, our air conditioning broke, leaving us with a nice 85 degree room for the evening. The smell continued, but we felt like we were faced with the choice of either submitting a request to resolve the odor and possibly having the AC shut off again, or try to endure and hope that the smell would eventually go away. It didn’t. I ended up submitting another request, but this time, the request was closed and marked as completed, without anyone ever contacting us, and without any notice that anyone had even entered the apartment to attempt to fix it.After the AC broke again, a different maintenance guy offered the first bit of info on what he thought might be causing the odor: the pipes that drain the excess water from the AC are located right underneath the intake, and if the pipes are letting in air from the sewer, then that air would be getting sucked in and pumped through the entire apartment. I’m not a heating and air guy, but this was the first and only explanation I would get before giving our written notice. Management was too quiet and not helpful at all considering how absolutely terrible the odor was. When we did our final walkthrough, they ripped up half of the living room carpet to check for stains on the bottom, and told me that I should have done the same when I moved in. There were several huge stains underneath, suspiciously in the corner where she started lifting. We own a small cat that uses a litter box in the second bathroom on the tile floor, while the stains underneath had to come from a large dog or small child. It was disgusting to see that we’ve been living on for a year. It’s the first complex that has ever suggested that I tear the carpet up on my move-in, and I think that says something about the standards they hold when determining if carpet should be replaced or not before renting the unit.So if this review is too long, I’ll sum it up by saying absolutely don’t move here, at least not to apartment 4121, unless you love the smell of human sewage. And if you decide to take the risk, ask the management office about the carpet and take pictures.
Great floorplan plus 2 car garage is sweet. However, I have to agree with every single word of the review by James Edmond.
Ive been a resident here off and on for several years. The parking sucks by building 41, 42, and 43 (by building 43 mostly) They will not do anything to resolve this issue. They cranked up the rent to a ridiculous amount for the apartment, unless you want to waste another 14 months of your money, and they charge a pet rent (of now 20 bucks, it used to be 10 which is still ridiculous cause you already pay a pet deposit). So from before I was paying on average 765 a month I will now be paying closer to 800 a month for a mediocre place to live. Needless to say I am looking for a different place at this time.
Office staff on the weekend is horrible and untrained. Unprofessional. They dont make you aware of the policy changes. Weekend staff is horrible!!!!!!
