Great location right by bricktown, with a great view if you’re lucky like me. But that’s about the only positive. They’re very disrespectful to their tenants, knowing that many people want to live in the area. Relatively old buildings with bad heating. Rents go up significantly every year you stay there. And when you move out, they make sure to charge you for every single minor fix they have to make in that apartment. Be aware of that.

If you think this place is affordable, think again. After living here for a year they raised our rent FIFTEEN PERCENT!! All that for the privilege of having your packages stolen from their unsecured mailroom!

My husband and I are about to move out of Deep Deuce Apartments after living here for 6 years and we are so sad to leave! As you can see from our long tenure there, we have loved it. We are only moving out because we are moving states. We like that the buildings and apartment layouts are more unique than many other OKC apartment buildings - its not just a square apartment with windows on one side. We had a two bedroom with vaulted ceilings and windows on three sides. Maintenence is responsive and efficient. Mike especially is fantastic - knowledgable, friendly, helpful. The newish team in the office has been great as well. They clearly want to create more of a community and have worked to offer additional services and events and provide upgrades where needed. Rent is higher than some places but honestly the location and what you get for it is absolutely worth it.

My husband and I have recently moved in and we LOVE this place. The street is beautiful, especially in the fall with all of the trees and changing leaves. Aside from the view, the amazing ladies in the office are incredibly kind and responsive whether there’s an issue or we just have questions. The maintenance team is always fast and efficient as well as understanding. As of now, we can’t say enough good things but the staff is definitely the best part!

The apartment is clean and comfortable, with an impressive amount of storage features all throughout- often an issue with apartment living. I just moved in and Ashley was very communicative (much appreciated) throughout the application process which moved along swimmingly. I was able to move in 4 days after submitting the application! The bricktown location grants you the bustling city experience and provides easy access to venues, restaurants, and highways. I look forward to my stay here.

My husband and I have lived here for two years and we just signed for another years lease. We absolutely love the deep deuce apartment staff, location and amenities! We looked all over downtown OKC and fell in love with DD. Jessica and Jamie are amazing at their jobs. Mike and Caesar are always there when we need them! It goes to show how much I love DD when I know all of the staff by name. We couldn’t be happier with DD!

Average leadership, maintenance, and facilities. Affordable compared to other complexes in the area but you get what you pay for. Floors are uneven, had a roof leak, charge an extra mandatory trash valet fee, communication is mediocre. Nice open floor plan, great ceiling space on 3rd floor, good location, kitchen island = 💯. Overall would only recommend if you’re looking for a cheaper spot. 2.5 stars.

Be prepared to be lied to constantly and to be told things that are later untrue. We viewed and the apartment that I was told was the one I was moving was not the one we moved to. Despite this I tried to remain hopeful and wish for the best. There were issues almost immediately with heat as the apartment has top windows above the bottom ones. Are energy usage was through the roof. We contacted management and they told us they would help. Maintenance informed us they cant do anything because the windows are too high.On top of this the washer continued to wash the ENTIRE night. There are also scratches in the windows that need to be repaired. Saying management has been less than helpful would be an understatement. They have done nothing and this is essentially a scam company. On top of this the parking is cramped and they charge you up the a** for extra services (garage, parking, etc.)

Note: A lot of this may have just been single experience and/or bad luck.We just recently moved out of Deep Deuce. We overall enjoyed our time here but had a large number of issues while living here. First off, for the price, you wont find a better apartment complex anywhere around here. It had the best price for the square footage and location. Speaking of location, Deep Deuce has one of the best locations also. CoVid kind of ruined the downtown experience but we made the best out of it.When we moved in, we noticed a couple of issues. One was a hole in out bathtub. We made a ticket and they fixed it quickly, more than that later. The second was the A/C. To say the A/C was weak was an understatement. If it was any warmer than 80 degrees outside, the temperature of the apartment would not go below 72. This was never fixed despite a couple of maintenance tickets. The system just couldnt keep up. During the summer days it would not get below 75-80 insides during the daytime. The bathtub. What a mess. I dont think this was necessarily the apartments fault as they subcontracted this fix out to a third party. After the first fix, it broke again with a massive hole. Long story short, we were out of a bathtub for a full month, in December, in the cold. We had to walk down the stairs outside to the demo apartment below. (fun side note, they accidentally walked in to show the apartment while my gf was showering, but dont think that employee works there anymore.) It was a giant mess but once it was finally fixed correctly, it was fine. The bathtub was big and nice...when we could use it.This is getting long so Ill just give some extra issues without elaborating. We caught no less than 8 field mice after noticing our dog food and other things were being eaten through. LOTS of mice poop. The dishwasher broke and flooded even though we literally never used it. the garage door broke dramatically but that was fixed fairly quickly. Pool was not only too small for the apartment complex, but it was ransacked every nice weekend day by a TON of people that didnt even live at the apartments. It was as if someone kept posting some sort of pool party invite for all on craigslist. Lots of weed smoking and smells everywhere but we didnt care enough to let it bother us. A giant Pitbull moved a floor above us. We dont care much for breed bans and think it shouldnt exist; the problem with this dog was that it barked at least 10 hours a day, all day, everyday. The gate was never closed and never worked so safety was nonexistent in the complex. The doors didnt close right so I had make them work myself and then both towel holders broke on their own. Fixed one, but the original install on second was so bad that I didnt bother. A/C/heat was location above tub. Started leaking and never stopped. Dealt with it since it just leaked into tub but was the greatest to deal with. Paper thin floors, so you can hear everything above you. Upstairs neighbor seemed to be hosting regular bowling tournaments for a while. Other misc issues.So...I gave them three stars.. why? The maintenance staff. This is probably the biggest positive this place has going for them. They were always super helpful regardless of the time of day and was tried to fix everything. When it was they did what they could. It just seemed like they did their best with limited resources. It was it wasnt for our great experiences with them this place would have gotten a 2 or 1 star review at best.Overall. It was okay. They closed the little market down the street and then half of everything in bricktown due to covid. So we had to make due and we did. My biggest complaint would be the A/C system honestly since I worked from home a lot. And of course the bathtub issues. I literally had to spend an hour arguing with staff to get a discount for not having a restroom to use for a full month. They seriously thought it would be okay to just say oh well, sorry for that. Anyways, thats my review. We moved to a more expensive and nicer apartment. thats for another review tho.

I love that it’s close to bricktown and that I have my own garage. It’s a 5 minute walk just to the river walk. The apartment is clean and modern. For about $1300 including utilities, I get a single bedroom and an attached garage. In all the states I’ve lived in, I have not seen an apartment for that price where I can walk down to my own garage without having to step outside of my apartment. That sold it for me. The windows are a bit thin in the bedroom so I can hear everything outside like the leaves moving in the wind... weird but something I’ve noticed. I believe my window is fully closed and sealed too. I could ask the front desk to see if this is supposed to be like that or if there is anything that should be done. I like my in unit washer and dryer. When I was apartment searching I compared this apartment with The Edge at Midtown and Aviare Arts. I liked both facilities however I believe this apartment is more worth it’s value than the 2. The edge was asking for $1600 including utilities for a 700 sq ft 1 bedroom apartment which is the highest amongst the 3. It is also the newest among the 3. I also compared this apartment to Aviare Arts apartment. They offered I think it was $500 off the first month, which is a really good deal and made me second think myself. The reason why I chose Deep deuce is because of that attached garage. I don’t see a lot of apartments offering that amenity especially for that price. I can see value in that in the winter when I don’t have to step outside in the cold or defrost my car. I also like the big windows in my living room and bedroom because it can bring in lots of natural sunlight. The neighborhood is well lit and safe to walk around at night. The front office advisors Ashley and Jessica are very welcoming and responsive. I appreciate their help and friendliness. Again I have stayed for 3 weeks, but I am enjoying my stay so far.

The whole entire staff is terrible at communicating with you. Travis by far is the worse person to have handle your issues. We moved in and the apartment was DIRTY, moldy, and smelled like cat urine. Your electric bill is going to be insanely high. We pay 160 a month, water is 65-70 a month. It’s pricey. Parking is going to be terrible and you basically can’t park in the street on the weekends since people park here and go to bricktown. Just go to any other downtown apartment but this one.

I have lived in these apartments for just about 7 months and I am very happy with my move. They have been great, very helpful when anything needs tending to. I think the longest I had to wait to have something fixed was 2 days. They are quick to answer questions and the staff knows me by name despite it being such a large complex. I think they could be a little cheaper but they are comparable to the apartments around the area.

Short walking distance to Bricktown ballpark, restaurants & pubs. Also some fun pubs right there within the Deep Deuce neighborhood. My son who lives there says the rental rates & utilities are reasonable, really likes having washer/dryer in his apartment. It is also a short drive to work near Tinker AFB.

If you love paying a premium for minimal to no security, this is the place for you! A possibly intoxicated resident smashed their car through the security gate, and has now been broken for well over a month. Since the time our gate was broken, Ive now had my car illegally towed by the towing company they use (Arrow), my car broken in to and ransacked within resident parking, and now my spouses car has been ransacked. Apartment management has expressed zero info as to when the gate would be restored (Im sure this is a corporate issue) and defers all questions about security on their own private properties to the OKC PD and to my knowledge, employ no security person of their own. Security is not taken to be a serious issue by the apartments - Looking forward to when our lease is up.

Two words -- getting better. With the new ownership, there are promises, and progress, of a much needed remodel of the units. Theyve dropped the ball early on several times but slowly things are improving.Really the best thing going for these apartments is their location. Deep Deuce is the best (and only?) urban neighborhood in Oklahoma City. Steps to Bricktown, Downtown, Automobile Alley, Midtown, Health Science Center, etc. Location puts this into the Very Good category, overall.

STAY FAR AWAY!! There are cheaper and much nicer apartments near by who actually care about their residents. Location is about the only positive of this apartment complex and even then I would not say that they are worth it since construction around the area pretty much kill any proximity to downtown. The rent is a little high but I overlooked it because they seemed worth the price, they aren’t. The staff was okay with the exception of Crystal, she created a huge issue (that I was almost fined for) out of something that should have not been, since it was quickly dropped once I proved to the owner or whoever, that Crystal had lied about the situation. She also got extremely rude after that incident took place, which is quite sad because upon signing our lease she was the main selling point. She was really helpful and sweet until we were a few months into our lease. I had a wasp nest in my apartment and when I brought this issue to the office they literally laughed in my face. I had to take care of that issue myself since I didn’t want myself, my roommate or my dog to be stung by a wasp. What a crazy concept right? I was also really upset to find that we had been running our heat non stop because our heating unit was falling apart (this caused our electric bill to be obnoxiously high). After they fixed it a pipe came loose or something in the wall which caused an INSANE amount of noise every time the air was turned on. The guy who fixed the heat said he would find a bracket to brace the pipe but after nearly a full week of hearing nothing I finally submitted another maintenance request. When I submitted a maintenance request at 3 am because I could not sleep it was either ignored or as Crystal very rudely put it “did not come through” falling short of calling me a liar. I put another request in which I included a screenshot of the ORIGINAL maintenance request and the maintenance supervisor called and told me he wasn’t coming in until the next day because they didn’t do non emergency work on the weekends. Fun stuff considering that I would not be sleeping again that night. The solution I was offered was “turn the heat off” when I told them that my apartment was below 58 degrees when I did that he said “then turn it up really high and turn it off again so it stays warm, that’s what I would do”. The rent here is not cheap so I figure that an issue that was literally keeping me up at night for SEVERAL nights would be something they would take serious. They did not. I would never recommend this place to anyone! Crystal is extremely rude once you sign your lease and major issues are ignored because they clearly do not care for the people who pay thousands of dollars to live here. Don’t be fooled by the modern look of these apartments, they don’t stay looking pretty, out bath tub caulking was peeling after they “fixed it” and our bolt on the front door was broken.
