I moved in this apartment a month ago. This is the worst apartment due to some noise issues. It was unlucky to pick this unit. The location of my unit is close to a dog daycare center. I hear dog barking sound all day starting at 7AM. The worst thing is living with a musician in my neighborhood. He/She plays an instrument (bass guitar or keyboard? I do not know what it is) all day until the quite hours start, which is 10PM. It seems he/she works at home instead of a studio. Can he/she use a headphone if he cares about neighbors? I take some online classes, so have to study at home. No way!!! I can’t imagine what if someone works at home in this pandemic time dealing with this situation. I have to turn on TV or play any music not to get bothered from that noise even though I prefer quiet home. The rent is not cheap. I’m so looking forward to moving out when the lease ends.

I love the staff at the Metropolitan. They make things very comfortable and fun! The community goodies are a great perk and show they care about their residents. They are very good at mitigating issues as they arise. It’s an apartment complex, so there will always be some sort of noise issue. Living in a prime location for dining, commuting, and activities, you’re going to get more traffic noise. It’s to be expected. The side to side noise seems to be pretty good. The front doors are super thin though and you can hear everything, unfortunately. You take the bad with the good though as with anywhere. The good definitely outweighs the bad here though!

I have lived at the Met since the beginning of the year, and it’s been the best decision I’ve made. I’ve lived in multiple apartment complexes, and this has been my best experience so far. The staff is kind and responsive, and the complex is well kept. Highly recommend!

I am extremely pleased with my experience so far at The Metropolitan. The community is clean and safe, the amenities are all well-kept, and the staff is very friendly and helpful. My move-in experience was great. Lorri and the team first helped me make sure I wanted to live here before I put a deposit down, unlike some apartments that try to rush you in to a deposit. Lorri was so helpful in finding the right space for me, and she even knew all of my friends by name that already live at The Metropolitan. The Metropolitan has quality spaces and amenities that you would expect from a larger apartment complex while maintaining a personable community feel. It is reassuring knowing I can reach the office with a text message and speak to emergency maintenance at any hour. I would recommend to anyone!

Overall, I enjoyed my experience here; they have good resident events as well and nice amenities. However, the apartments were really noisey. I’ve lived in many places, but this was by far the loudest. No matter how loud my neighbors were I was told if it wasn’t during quiet hours, there was nothing I could do. Not ideal for a working at home environment or for a graduate student. My apartment also flooded during the ice storm (no fault of the apartment complex, just bad luck), but management was a bit difficult to deal with during this time and didnt help make the process easy. Apartments are nice but not worth the price. Ultimately, I decided it was best to live somewhere else.

My wife and I had the best experience at the Metro. We had to leave because we have a kid on the way and wanted a house, but the apartment was good for all lifestyles. During the summer, it was lively and people were friendly. It is away from business district, so you dont get much random foot traffic. The location is FANTASTIC.I cant speak for those with children or multiple roommates, but for a couple wanting a one bedroom, this place is hands down a 10/10

Will be moving into these apartments in August. So far Lorri has been amazing to work with. On the day that we toured the location it was also our first time in OKC. She told us all about the city, what to expect, and even gave us recommendations on where to dine. She seems to truly care about the residents and the apartment in general. Looking forward to moving in!

Stayed here for a year and absolutely loved it. So many things to love and a very convince to downtown location. Services like the trash valet and quick maintenance resolutions made it enjoyable to stay. Management puts on lots of events for residents and are available during the hours that are displayed. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a downtown apartment with spacious open floor plans and a good community.

I lived at the Metropolitan Apartment Homes for almost a year and a half and thoroughly enjoyed it. Not only were the apartment and building design layout exceed my expectations but most importantly, the staff. I cannot begin to express how excellent the customer service was at the Metropolitan. No matter what I asked for (and believe me, sometimes my asks were a bit much), I was always accommodated. Lorri, the Leasing Manager/Director was phenomenal. I was well taken care of and couldnt ask for a better community. Unfortunately I am out of state temporarily but will certainly move back the Metropolitan if/when I am back in OKC.

The Metropolitan is a catalogue perfect kind of place, until you start to live there and realize you havent seen the full picture...Pros:- Close to downtown, adequate amenities. Modern outlook.Cons:- Wherever youre apartment is it will either be facing the busy freeway, or like mine was - the thunderous train tracks just less than 100 yards away. Theres also construction located just across the street.- To add on to the effect of the last con the walls are paper thin, so every car that drives by on the small but busy road right next to the apartments on the side where the train track is - feels like theyre driving through your bedroom.- Maintenance will enter your apartment as they please. I scheduled a maintenance request for my fridge and noted on the form they did not have permission to enter, yet they still unlocked the door and walked right on in on a day unexpected in the early morning while I was still sleeping, absolutely startled me when I woke up to a stranger in my living room. No compensation efforts were made.- They will FINE you for anything they can get on you with zero warning. Your first time offence will cost you $100 of your hard earned money, NO LENIENCY.Conclusion:The Metropolitan Apartments in OKC is a clean and modern styled place to live that can be quite appealing to many upon first visit...but take it first hand from a former resident that the appeal will fade as the downsides start to hold a greater weight than the upsides - once mentioned to you. For the price, there are many other apartment complexes with the same modern appeal and luxurious amenities located in downtown. I hope this review has been insightful and can serve as a guide to your journey in finding the perfect apartment!

I moved to Oklahoma from Texas a few months ago, and was very stressed with finding the right apartment home for me that matched my standards. When I first contacted Metropolitan, I was lucky and fortunate to get in touch with Lorri. She is extremely knowledgable, has a huge heart, and will do everything in her power to ensure you are taken care of! She made my transition very smooth, always checked on me throughout the on-boarding process as I prepared to move in, and addressed all of my questions well! The apartment homes themselves are very modern/sophisticated, amenities are fully compliant with current CDC guidelines, and there is a clean/neat feel to the entire complex. If you are looking for a sleek/elegant, secure, and central place to reside in OKC, I highly recommend this property. Units definitely sell out very quickly due to high demand, so I would consider yourself very lucky if you are able to score an apartment home here! From the standpoint of maintenance, I did submit a work order for a minor issue, and I was impressed to have my apartment serviced the SAME DAY. You cannot beat outstanding service like that! Lorri is fantastic and well-respected with the entire community, and this organization is very lucky to have her!-Shawn Francis

My partner and I went and toured this apartment as an option to move into when our lease is up in June. The entire time the leasing agent kept calling us friends and talking about us each having our own bedrooms. We were holding hands majority of the time, referring to each other as babe/baby, and did make comments about sharing the master room. All of this was ignored and we were repeatedly called friends after trying to politely make clear we weren’t. All in all it was EXTREMELY uncomfortable for us both and honestly a bit disrespectful. We did not feel like this was a welcoming for LGBTQ+. We felt like the facility was great and would have been nice to be at if not for this. I would have wanted to be warned of this type of experience before going so I decided to share this for others.

We looked at 10-12 apartments before deciding on The Met. The luxury apartment selection in OKC is pretty slim. Other than the Met, there are very few legitimately nice apartment complexes. Several early/mid 2000s construction that definitely feel their age. So unless you want to spend $3000+ to be at The Classen, this is probably the nicest place in town.Staff is very nice and helpful when issues come up, and the amenities cant be beat. Several resident events every month, great pool, game room, gym, and temperature controlled hallways are great when its hot/cold outside. Drive-up garage is really nice too. Great downtown views if you live on the side facing Oklahoma, especially on the 4th floor.

All of the amenties and property is very well maintained and has the most up to date features. At the Metropolitian, you will find all kinds of residents/ages from young professionals, OU Medical Students, couples, and families, which makes for a great enviornment. If you are looking for a sleek, secure, and centralized place to live in OKC, I highly recommend the Metropolitian! The Metropolitan is only a symptom of a much larger problem that needs to be addressed in our society. I lived at this location for a total of four months before my boyfriend and I had to pay a hefty fine to break our lease in order to maintain our sanity. We told them after less than a week of living there that we wanted out, but tried to tough it out as long as possible to avoid being charged the ridiculous amount of three months rent (we are STILL paying it off, but do not regret the decision to leave AT ALL). When we moved in, our kitchen sink was not even sealed into place, and their solution was to just prop it up with cinderblocks. Boasting 330 luxury units crammed together like a can of sardines, there were so many problems that it was literally like living in a waking nightmare. There was one instance where they did a mandatory fire inspection of every single unit in the complex, ran the fire alarms for a full twenty minutes, then ran them again later in the evening. This happened over a three day period. Parking is a complete horror show, with a six-level parking garage that is extremely sketchy and unsafe. In fact, while living here, there was a break in at the complex and nothing was done apart from them putting snacks out in the break room to get cops to come by more often? Which leads me to another point: there are always police there, but its likely one of the most dangerous places to live. Bikes were constantly getting stolen, peoples cars were getting dinged, that sort of thing. Another problem is that it is located literally 80-100 feet from the highway, which caused a great amount of distress to our sleep patterns, eating habits, and overall wellbeing. We would frequently hear the cries of peoples babies when walking the seemingly endless halls. We toured on a Saturday, so the highway was not at full volume, but upon moving in we were awoken at 5AM every morning to the beautiful sound of semis, motorcycles, and a seemingly endless stream of cars and trucks spewing toxic fumes into our air. The windows were extremely cheap so it made it all the more unbearable, forcing us to sleep in the closet for a number of nights. We witnessed everything from graffiti in the building, poop, blood and vomit in the halls and common areas left uncleaned for weeks, to our lovely neighbor blasting Whoop, There It Is at 7AM on a Saturday. Overall, it was an extremely traumatic experience, and I would warn any potential renters against this kind of arrangement. Dont be fooled by their lip service and social media posts. They give the same canned response to any concern raised, so I expect their response to this to be no different. Simply pitiful that we as a species have been reduced to this.

I LOVED living at The Met! The community is beautiful and the convenience of living downtown cant be beat. We moved here while we searched for our home in Edmond, and the 3 bedroom worked perfect for our family. I loved the convenience of having elevators, and indoor hallways were great for not having to worry about weather when heading to the garage. I loved having the parking garage for our vehicles, and never had any parking issues. The team is the best, always providing exceptional customer service. From my first conversation with Lorri, I was sold because she is amazing and made sure I knew what made Metropolitan so special. The metropolitan apartments is a complete joke. Moved in a year ago with my roommate and our dogs. I paid all the deposits including the pet rent for the year. We moved out the other day and I know for a fact they overcharged us to rip up our carpets. Our carpets were in good condition and did not need to be ripped up. Who knows if they even really did what they said. They charged $700 for each room to be exact. I recommend if you have a pet dont even bother moving in here. I did the walk through with one of the management team and she told me everything in the apartment looked great and there shouldnt be any issues. Next thing I know our bill after move out is $2000. Management has no communication whatsoever and the online portal is a joke. You never see a clear understanding of your bill. We were really good tenants not to mention. Never made or had any complaints. basically just lived there under the radar for a year and then at the end they want to charge you for every little thing.

I moved from Georgia to Oklahoma for graduate school. I immediately loved these apartments and the staff was very helpful initially. However, they were unclear about a $500 move in special that was going on at that time. I broke my lease to pursue other endeavors- so of course, I knew I had to pay so I asked the amount I needed to pay, wrote a check, and sent it in. Then (the day before I was leaving) was asked to pay ANOTHER $500 because whoever gave me my final payment information was mistaken. At this point, the ladies at the front desk and the manager were becoming pushy and annoyed that I was asking why I had to pay $500. The nice smiling demeanor that was present in the beginning was gone and so was any semblance of appropriate customer service. More so, I always paid rent on time, never had any complaints. The building sent this payment to their company and I explained to the lady I spoke with that I was a student and could not afford to drop $500 and her response was Get a job. Extremely distasteful. Another situation that occurred was the day I was moving out it was storming in Okc, and the ladies at the front desk asked me to take the ramp outside (in the rain, all my stuff would get wet) so I wouldnt be moving out in the main lobby- which I found to be extremely rude. I am a fair judge and understand that situations arise and everyone must do their job- however, this was beyond unfair. I would NOT recommend these apartments or this company for that matter. Please spend your money elsewhere. Thank you.

Absolute best apartment community I have ever lived in. Staff is always friendly, and goes above and beyond to make the community welcoming and enjoyable.

I love living at the Metropolitan. The staff are extremely pleasant— especially Lorri who is always ensuring that things are going well around the property and thag the residents are taken care of. Amenities at the Metropoltian are nice and located throughout the property. As far as the location goes, I can walk anywhere to Bricktown or Dowtown in under 10 minutes. Parking is never an issue and the covered parking is great. When considering amenities, quality of the apartment and the friendly staff, this property cannot be beat. If there was one thing I could add to the property to make it even better I’d add an outdoor rooftop lounge area since the parking deck up there is never occupied! Other than that this place has everything I need in the perfect location.

Fire alarms go off all day and night randomly. Management has no ability to fix issue that pertain to taking care of the facility. The maintenance crew is non professional. When they work on something in the facility it usually is not fixed correctly. And when they leave they dont pick up after themselves.

Do yourself a huge favor and do not move here! The management company is not helpful what so ever and want to scam you out of every dime you have.
