My wife and I moved into Crown Pointe Apartments the last few days of July 2021. So far, all office staff (Brenda, Erica, and Rosalind) have been exceptional. They all have friendly personalities and seem concerned. The office is clean and they run it in a professional manner. I feel valued as a tenant. I have not had this caring feeling from apartment. And I have rented for over 40 years. We did have some minor issues with our unit on move-in. Brenda made sure that these issues would be addressed. And they were.At the beginning of the third week. We had an emergency maintenance situation. The water heater/pipe in unit above blew. It was early at 1:45 AM. on a Sunday morning. I called the After Hours Emergency Maintenance phone number. Was immediately connected with Kerry (on call Maintenance Man). His fast action helped make a potential flooded apartment, just some wet carpet for us. Note: I am sure unit above us, was not quite so lucky. He checked back with us the next day and provided us with blower fan to help dry carpet.Due to the water, we also had a shorted electrical dual outlet, water seeping in from above, and furnace area was soaked. This was in addition to damp carpet. On Monday Rick (Maintenance Tech) arrived. I would like to complement Rick on his professionalism. He fixed the outlets, put in new furnace filter, installed two new mini-blinds, and fixed a slow draining bathroom tub. All within 90 minutes. Rick impressed me with his knowledge and timely manner to get the issues resolved. Thanks.Accidents Happen! Due to the quality of these two maintenance men and office staff, I would highly recommend Crown Pointe!
My hot water pressure is still low. They have not completed the sprayer at the kitchen sink. C byeiling area still not painted from leak from upstairs by my front door. Left large burner was never put on the work order. It wont work. Sometimes while Im baking the oven will just cut off in the middle of me cooking something
I love my apartment so much! The staff here are very sweet and have made me feel welcomed. During my process of moving in Darlene made me laugh and always has snacks in the office (besides the point haha.) The maintenance here is amazing and a beautiful quiet place. I enjoy seeing other people walk around with their dogs and everyone greets me!
Like a breath of fresh air the day I moved in! When I opened the door it was like moving into a brand new unit. The grounds of the community are just beautiful. Then to top it all off the ladies in the front office are so wonderful.
I just moved here from Tulsa and the ladies in the office are Fabulous!! The move in process was so easy and comfortable. The updates they are doing to the apartments are so nice. Maintenance crew are very quick to come adjust or fix anything needed.
I had to call again 3 hours later to get some assistance. That was the only issue because the service was outstanding.
Been at crown pointe apartments for a year now! I absolutely love it. Super quiet community and maintenance always fixes any appliances or anything that isn’t working in a timely manner! Great school district as well if anyone has kiddos. Management is wonderful as well and they’re always there for any Issues or concerns.
My A/C unit smells like there’s something growing in it and someone came to look at it. I was told they cleaned out a filter. A small metal piece was left behind by my kitchen sink so I emailed the apartment manager letting her know and told her the smell was still there. A couple days later the metal piece was gone but the smell is still there. The manager never responded to my email.
INFESTED! We thought if our 560 a month place sprayed for bugs surely this place also includes it.. Wrong! Spiders, ants, ROACHES, and beetles. They come in cracks around our front door, fireplace, behind kitchen appliances, INSIDE our dishwasher. We called the complex and still no response. The worse
I lived here for three years, and it was a positive experience! The staff is friendly and quick to respond, and the grounds are always kept clean. The only thing that was a challenge was the limited parking/driving exits.
So far my move in experience has been amazing the staff is friendly and Darlene has been of much help! Would recommend these complex’s to anyone looking for luxury and a personable staff.
I moved in on 02/22/2020 and I remember this day very well cause my apartment burned down on the 21st. I didnt want to go to another property cause I really liked my apartment but had no choice. I had called the staff at Crown Pointe and they had immediately moved me in and this is where I call home now. I have been here for nine months now and I love it, staff is amazing and courteous, neighbors are quiet and I will be renewing in February. Im giving this place a good rating and highly recommend it especially for the price.
The apartments are located in a great part of OKC. They are close to shopping, restaurants, grocery stores and highways. However, this is where the good things end. The parking lot is by far the absolute worst part of this complex. Narrow, hard to make turns, blind spot corners. The apartments themselves are decent size and layout, but my bedroom window would fully close but the seal was gone and I could pull the window in from the top. Cold air was filling the room constantly. The bathtub had a section where the paint/sealer was was missing and I cut my foot on it. I placed many maintenance calls but received emails saying “due to COVID-19 we are not longer answering these calls unless it’s an emergency”. What a joke. The water bill is a rip off, a one bedroom apartment with one person was $55 a month! They have a 10% surcharge on top of the water too. On my opinion this place is over priced. Many other better options just down the road for less.
After touring the apartments, I applied for a unit. Shortly after, I had to cancel (due to external reasons). I had already paid my deposit for the unit. I got my deposit back in less than a month which typically takes longer. Thank you to Erica specifically for your assistance.
Excellent dwelling place with superb staff who not only meet the demand but do it in a timely manner. If I ran an apartment business, I would chose the staff here. NO complaints whatsoever. If I didnt have to move due to school districts then I would definitely stay. Only downside of this, is that its not a housing neighborhood. Its apartments. If they were I would move to whereever housing neighborhood property they would manage. They are the ideal people to be under and not only that they are great people individually. They all have the same attitude and characteristics one would want in a person. They are an ideal team. Always improving on-site things the complex uses and needs. Thank you for your service during my staff. I am more than appreciative.
I have been living here since May, and I absolutely love everything about it. The office staff is always so friendly, and welcoming. The property is so quiet, and peaceful. Would highly recommend these apartments as your new home.
This apartment complex and staff are pretty great! I don’t live there anymore, but have had several packages get delivered there after I’ve moved and they call me to ensure I am able to come and get those packages instead of just sending them back. The front office staff is very attentive to residents needs and are very polite and professional!
Moved in 1 month ago and the staff is very helpful. The property is very nice and quiet.
I moved in a couple of months ago and have really enjoyed living here. The girls in the office are always welcoming, helpful and maintenance is on top of it. I would highly recommend this place if you are looking for quiet, business professionals and clean landscape.
I have lived at Crown Pointe for two, going on three, years now, and it has been a great experience! I have some awesome neighbors, and the staff is wonderful! I am a teacher, and they have ensured that I am always taken care of despite my unpredictable work schedule. Plus, they offer a discount to teachers! Maintenance is always quick to respond to my requests and very professional. The staff is very welcoming and always putting on events to ensure a sense of community! Its a great place to live!
Watch out watch out if you live in this place ...pls do check your credit report regularly...twice in less 6 months they reported my credit to collection ...first time I had 4000$ extra in my rent acct ...paid 4 months in advance...second one I m dealing with it right now ...I paid them and left the state to find out they reported the amount to my credit report without notice, mail, email, or a phone call ...pls think twice before you make a decision ...I lived in that place for over 3 years ...I had automatic payments ...and during pandemic I paid them 4 months in advance ...please do check your credit report if you moved out or still live there ...I personally will never ever consider such place again in my entire life ...please think twice
This is a very great complex all around. The office staffs are always polite and helpful and when you have a maintenance issue they fix it asap. You should make here your next home.
Living here since 2016, love it! You dont have to wait forever on maintenance, if theres a problem. Office staff is very friendly and always there for you!I also want to say a BIG THANK YOU to Brenda the property manager, you are AWESOME!!!
Me and my family have lived here for about 4 years know and we love it!Great price for a great Location! The three ladies in the office are great! They always have a great positive attitude every time I see them and are always very helpful!Don’t hesitate to ask them anything they will go above and beyond to help!I would definitely recommend staying at Crown Point!
Great place to live!!
The staff is great! They have been very helpful with every need Ive had, the apartments are quite and a great place to live.
I moved here in June and absolutely love it. The units are beautiful and the property is well maintained. All the ladies who work in the office are wonderful as well, and do their best with any maintenance or work orders. 😄
Really bad parking, like really bad. There is only one way in and out. There is a really bad blind spot at one of the curves. Some pet owners don’t clean up after their pets so at times there is poop everywhere and pretty sure they have a flea problem. Office people are not all that great, poor customer service. Vehicles get broken into quite a bit. Office people were made aware of this and they said they couldn’t do anything about it.
Second time I’ve had a problem with my washer. The first time they looked it over and did some maintenance. This time they replaced it. Great!Edit: I thought I was writing a review for a maintenance request, not the place as a whole. But its been a good place to live. The parking is pretty tight, but usually ok. So sure, 5 stars.Edit 2: Since posting my last review, Ive opened the same request multiple times asking for help with the insulation, because cold air keeps getting in in the winter, and warm air in the summer. My requests keep getting marked work completed when no work has been done and I havent even been contacted. Thats frustrating.Edit 3: Since posting my last review, Ive had more small issues that needed maintenance. Over and over, Crown Pointe promises to fix something and then doesnt, and then marks the work completed on the maintenance history page. I dont like that.
MOST REQUESTS MADE ARE ADDRESSED AND HANDLED WITHIN A 24 HOUR PERIOD....THANK YOU I AM GRATEFULHOWEVER THE REQUST MADE ON 4/5 WAS NOT ADDRESSED UNTIL 4/8 WITH NO DEFINITIVE RESOLUTION. LEAD MAINTENANCE DID HOWEVER RETURN ON 4/9 TO ADVISE OTHER INSPECTIONS OF SAME PROBLEM WERE DETERMINED TO BE FROM CITY WORK BEING DONE.
Crown point has been great to us they set our family up in a new apartment after we experienced a complete Fire Loss at another complex. As difficult as it was emotionally to deal with everything they got our family into a unit the next day and everyone was so nice helping us get settled. Even going as far as giving clothes and toys to our then 1 year old who lost all of her stuffed animals. The unit is nicely updated and balcony space is wide. Parking could be better but there are a lot of units so it’s understandable, I never am left without parking close to our unit. Very good location next to the turnpike and fresh groceries stores and restaurants. During Covid19 payment plans were available to set up if needed by those who were affected. I am very satisfied with crown point and how they accompanied us during our time of need! -Brandie
This is a great complex, and I have lived in my fair share of awful ones. The site is well maintained and it’s a quiet community. The office staff is great, friendly and always willing to answer any questions. I haven’t had any maintenance needs in the 9 months that I’ve been living here, which is great! No complaints!
I had an emergency maintenance request and they came to my apartment in a timely manner. The issues was resolved and haven’t had an issue since. The maintenance man is very polite and knowledgeable in what he is doing!
Very efficient maintenance team
When we were trying to move my husband went to the office and spoke to the manager she told him in order for her to release any information to potential rentals we would have to do a 30 day notice and we did just that. We did not find an apartment and went back to tell her that we werent going to move we were informed that I apartment have been rented out, without the full understanding that we would lose our apartment now the apartments that were in now is much more expensive!
Cute apartment and great service from leasing agents.
My husband and I have lived at Crown Pointe since March of 2018 and we LOVE IT! The management and office staff are TOP NOTCH - we have worked closely with Brenda and Kaity throughout our time here and they have gone above and beyond to get to know us and our family. It has made this place feel that much more like home! When we found out that we were expecting baby #2, we knew we would need to have a place with more space, but we didn’t want to leave Crown Pointe, so we decided to transfer to a larger unit - BEST DECISION EVER. We love our 2 bedroom, 2 bath unit! The entire transfer process went so smoothly, we seriously could not be happier. We will probably be here until we decide to buy a house!
I put in a maintenance request and no one actually even came and completed the job. I asked that no one come to my house when i am not there due to an incident i had in my apartment about 2 years ago. Someone had a key to my house and proveeded to try and come into my apartment at around 11 pm. Thank God i was in the living room and ran to the door and closed it. No one had my spare key except my apartments. Not my friends or family members. Due to that i dont feel comfortable with maintenance requests unless i am home. Again, i put in the request and gave a time frame when i wouod be home and nothing! Now i get an email asking how did we do? Well maybe i could answer that if it actually got done. It used to not be this way but i am very disappointed.
Great place to live. The faculty was more than pleased to help us with anything that we required in our time of need. They really make you feel more than a resident, more like a neighbor.
I love Crown Pointe Apartment. The staff is great always filling requests immediately. They respond to all questions and are so nice to everyone. Couldn’t ask for a better place to live
Love living in these apartments. The neighbors are awesome and the staff goes above and beyond the call of duty. Also the maintenance staff is pretty responsive and quick to fix what you need.
After staying here, I wouldn’t recommend staying here . They cut your water off without notifying you that they have to do maintenance or something . There’s also neighbors & there kids that like to play games & call security & make false noise complaints. I could go on & on . This has been the worst experience for my first apartment & I wouldn’t choose this location If it was the last apartment complex in the world .
My vehicle was constantly broken into. Security drives around w flashing lights so people can see him coming from far away so it’s kind of pointless. The parking is horrible. There is only one way in and one way out. If you come home past 8pm you will most likely have to park far away. Like most places. When you leave, they find any little thing out of place to charge you for to where your deposit won’t cover it.
Great place! Very nice and maintained complex.
I have been here since September 2019 and the staff is amazing and very understanding! I have had hard times but they have worked with me through it!! Thank you! Also the place is lovely, affordable and peaceful!!
Love this apartment complex and the new Security they have set in place! Rent is affordable and the staff in the front office are so kind and accommodating!! Check it out!
Currently wish the property had more than one way out, and maybe a playground for kids but other than that I love it as well as the promise that was made by management after waiting about a month and a half for a microwave never received any type of compensation from it. But Katy in the office has been amazing only one I can really say that about.
My husband and I have lived here for about 3 years and we love it! We have had no complaints and any issues that come up the ladies at the front desk are always so helpful. They go above and beyond!
I am still in the leasing stage but just wanted to say that Katie spent considerable time helping me make my decision. Im moving from out of town so needed information about traffic and a variety of other questions. Katie patiently helped me throughout this process going above and beyond. We toured last Saturday and Heather was also delightful.
I have currently been living in crown pointe for 3 months now and I love it. The ladies in the office are so nice and helpful. It’s very quiet as well.
Great management and also great maintenance crew! Ground kept extremely clean & manicured!
The staff here is a benchmark for excellence and service. Theyre always courteous and friendly. My maintenance requests are fulfilled in an expedient and satisfactory manner, and the ladies always take care of any packages dropped at the office. The apartment itself maintains its temperature well and doesnt cost me a small fortune in heating and cooling. Ive had no plumbing issues of any kind, the drops done my Cox and at&t are reliable and I havent dropped service for any reason outside of a power outage. The grounds are kept neat and well manicured. They recently put in dog waste stations which has furthered the initiative of the residents to dispose of their waste appropriately. The location is ideal for my purposes. Theres a Sprouts, 7-Eleven, Walgreens, all within a 5 minute walk, the turnpike is easily accessible in the mornings on my way to work, and Hefner parkway is just around the corner. From my stance any complaints are either unfounded or brought on by the same residents that are complaining. I have run into no such issues with any of the things I have read in these reviews. The only thing I would like is an entrance in the back to facilitate an easier coming and going of the premises. Outside of that, I have no grievances and think it is well worth every dollar I pay.
I have lived at the apartment with my best friend since we graduated and we love the place. Out of 3 staffs I meet with Katie the most and she has been extremely helpful and kind ever since we moved in (She always remember my name and apartment number its amazing). The apartment is spacious, clean and even though it doesnt come with a washer and dryer, I still think its worth it. I just renewed my rent contract in which the price didnt fluctuate much.Location wise, Crown Pointe is in walking distance to Sprouts and 5 minutes driving from a Walmart. It takes me about half an hour to get to work near Classen area which is not too bad. Martin Park is also right around the corner for people who has pets, kids or just like going on walks on the weekends.Overall, great place!
I have lived here for over 5 years and absolutely love it . Management is wonderful and bend over backwards to maintain happy residents
I am a current resident here and have been a resident for 3 years now, I absolutely love the care Brenda and Katie give to their residents and how quickly maintenance responds to any needs of the apartment. It is conveniently close to grocery stores and shops ! Safe, beautiful and quiet apartment community ❤️
I have lived here over a year and enjoy living here. The maintenance crew are here whenever we need them. Katie and her staff do a wonderful job. Yes it is an apartment and there are a few problems. We do occasionally smell weed but I have had that in every apartment I lived in but it is not all the time or I would have complained.
My boyfriend and I love Crown Pointe, we have been here for about 2 years now! Everyone is extremely accommodating and attentive to the needs of the residents and honestly you cannot find a better floor plan with the same awesome price!
Beautiful Cozy apartments!Looking forward to many more years to come! The crown point family is great!
Just moved in to Crown Pointe a few days ago and the entire lease signing and paperwork process was efficient and easy. The staff is very friendly and professional, I highly recommend this complex
Very nice. Did everything that was needed
Ive lived here since August and Ive been pretty happy. The lady that lives above me is a… well say an undesirable neighbor. You can hear just about everything that goes on in the apartment above you, so that stinks. My other neighbors are pretty lovely from the ones Ive met so far. Everybody mostly keeps to themselves, but they will usually say hello when they see you. The grounds are nice, and up kept from what Ive noticed. During the warmer months youll see multiple neighborhood kids outside playing, its pretty cute. I havent had any issues with the office staff, they are pretty friendly every time Ive gone in for a package or to pay my rent. One other complaint Ive had is that when I moved in the carpets had not been switched out. They still had a dog smell and multiple stains on them. But I also have a dog so I can understand, I just hope that when I move out (which wont be anytime soon) that I wont be penalized for the gross carpet left by the previous tenants. Many of my friends have visited my apartment and say they love it and would move into these apartments. Ive definitely lived in far worse places, and for the price these are pretty great!
Everything is fine here, until your car gets broke into numerous of times. Security comes after the police have left 🥴. I wouldn’t recommend an apartment in the back, low lighting . The security gate is pointless to have because it never works and the security code is generic as hell.I been here almost 3 years, I’m glad my lease is up.
*update* Lived here for roughly 3 years. Only con was parking. Manager and staff were great and sweet. Never had an issue with the residents. :) I recommend.*every time I have moved out of an apt I deep clean it and shampoo the carpets. My cat tore up the carpet near the doors other than that the carpet was In good condition, specially after living there for 3 years. When I explained to the manager that everything was good except the carpet in that particular area. She stated that it would be salvageable and they should be able to patch it up. After calling the leasing office for two weeks trying to get my deposit back or at least a partial amount, I finally got a call back. They told me I had an outstanding bill of over $300 for the carpet replacement. 😒 long story short. I paid it because I didnt want this charge to go to collections and ding my credit. My neighbor was also charged for her carpet change when she moved out.Never recommending this place again lol☺
I love my apartment! I been here for a few years and I have no complaints other than my upstairs neighbors waking up early on a Sunday morning( sometimes) lolStaff members are always super nice and helpful! Maintenance assistance is the best, they are fast and reliable! Landscaping is always taken care off! I feel safe and happy at crown Pointe Apartments, I definitely recommend people to move here!!:)
Great place to live! Beautiful apartments, friendly community, and great management/maintenance!
The apartments are very nice and affordable. The office people are all so nice and helpful. And when needing work done they come repair fast am d nice as well.
Crown Pointe Apartments are great! I went looking for an apartment and found a home. The staff here is amazing and make you feel at home. I highly recommend Crown Pointe to anyone, you’ll love living here.
Everyone at the leasing office is super friendly and helpful!
My wife and I have lived here just over 2 years and we couldn’t be happier. The apartment management has been above our expectations.
Sometimes I wonder if the people leaving bad reviews have ever been to Crown Pointe, because Ive never experienced any of these problems.Ive lived at Crown Pointe with my husband for the last two and a half years. We have a second floor one bedroom apartment with a fireplace. Its not a giant apartment, but we knew that when we signed the lease two years ago, so why would we complain?Weve had issues arise while living there, but the staff has always been on top of it. Our upstairs neighbors apartment flooded once, and I was notified pretty much immediately by the staff. By the time I made it home, maintenance had already moved all electronics away from flood zones and covered my furniture in tarps, and the flood damage was repaired within a few days. There was an issue with our electrical box for our apartment that caused the power to fluctuate and our AC fan to go crazy, meaning we woke up in the middle of the night with lights flickering on and off and loud racket in the walls. I called maintenance and a guy came out right then, at 3 am. That sounds like good maintenance to me. Oh, on the subject of maintenance, the guy who does daytime maintenance calls is on a first-name basis with my cat, and my cat loves to see him.We have upstairs neighbors that probably wear wooden clogs all day, but thats apartment living. People sometimes dont clean up after their dogs, but how is that Crown Pointes fault?Ive seen complaints on other websites about roach problems. I dont see how this is possible, because there is an exterminator that comes out every Wednesday and will spray your apartment for free if you ask. Weve had to do it a few times for ant problems. Im guessing the people that complain about roaches probably live like animals, because thats the only way I can see there being a problem like that. There are reviews about drug deals happening, but in my two and a half years there, Ive never seen anything shady. If drug deals are happening, they must be classy and discreet. The gate was broken when we first moved in, but it works now and has for at least a year now.Overall, Crown Pointe is a good place to live if youre at the stage in your life where apartment renting is best for you. We decided it would be the last place we would live before we bought a house. When I told Anne we were going month-to-month so we could look for a house, she said she would miss us. And honestly, Ill miss them, too.
I have lived in Oklahoma City for some years and Crown Pointe Apartments is the best around Okc. They keep their grounds clean and have security at night to keep everyone safe. Maintenance is prompt and pleasant along with the office staff.
The girls in the office are great! Maintenance is a little slow at getting things done, however, overall it’s a great place to be.
I just recently move out of here and my move out day couldnt have come any quicker. I held a move out inspection with the assistant manager who said everything looked great and was one of the cleanest apartments shes seen only to ask me for $400 more via email several days later. There are raccoons in the trash bins at night. The apartments themselves are overpriced for the quality that you receive. The grounds are infested with fleas and the work orders are never done in a timely manner. Dont even bothering calling the office because they wont answer or return your messages. Dont waste your money on deposits or pet fees because those dont matter! There are much nicer places to live that cost a whole lot less!
I really liked these apartments. I think you get what you pay for! Could be a little cheaper. The staff was a lot of help and they answered all the questions that I had. If youre a student you get a student discount here too!
Kathy was wonderful . She made my move in experience seamless and with no worries !!!!
I’ve been living here since mid December and don’t have any complaints yet!! I love it here!
Brenda and Kaity are so helpful and the maintenance crew is always prompt and polite.
IMO this complex gives you the most bang for your buck. It has a larger floor plan than most apartments in the area for a lower cost, so im not sure why people are complaining about it being so expensive. Along with it is extra outside storage, which is pretty great to have! The raccoons are sometimes there at night, but to be honest its the peoples fault. The complex is next to a park and people will toss their trash bags up, miss the very big dumpster, have their garbage break all over and just leave it. I wouldnt say peoples stupidity is fault of the management...Anyways, maintenance has always been extremely friendly and efficent with us. There is one gentlemen that makes it a point to say hello to my finace and I and ask how we are doing each time he sees us. We had to call emergency maintenance once and our call was returned within a few minutes, followed by maintenance at our apartment in 20-30 minutes. The office staff has always been nothing but pleasant with us. Heather worked with my schedule in regards to maintenance coming out when I needed them at a specific time on a specific day, on numerous occasions. Brenda always had time for me and is very friendly and professional to deal with. Both are very great to work with! The majority of peoples complaints are ridiculous and I give big props to the management team for dealing with this stupidity daily, while keeping pleasant attitudes and smiles on their faces!
Only been here a week and a half but so far the bathroom has flooded twice. Once from the washer (from the spiket, not the machine) and once from the toilet. The toilet itself has clogged 3 times now. 3 lights have gone out as well.Maintainence is incredibly slow and typically arrives unprepared which makes for a lot of sitting around and waiting for things to get done.It gets 3 stars at the moment as the front office staff has been absolutely delightful. They’ve really helped us get settled quickly. The grounds are clean and apartment itself is nice and a in a perfect area. If only we could get the appliances and fixtures to work like everything else we’d be set. Will most likely leave another review at 6 months but it’s shaping up to be a lengthy one!
Just drove past them, no clue.
I lived here for 2 years so i feel like i could write a lot. Not sure where all the complaints come from. Yes raccoons are in the dumpsters at night. Dont go at night to dump trash then. That is how the world works. Trash/food attracts critters. Wake up 5 minutes early and take it in the morning. If your neighbor sounds like a herd of elephants, politely go talk to them. It works. If i worked in the front office and put up with all the complaints people went in with then I wouldnt be pleasant either. Go in with a smile and positive attitude and i guarentee theyll be more receptive of you. I enjoyed the manager and her staff. They were always pleasant to deal with. I will be moving back in May and am looking forward to it.
I love how someone gives a 1 star review without having actually lived here...I Just moved out after having lived here for 3 1/2 years on the 3rd floor. I found that IF you actually pay your rent ON TIME and learn how to change your own light bulbs, the staff are pretty pleasant and professional. I cant imagine the idiots they have to deal with on a daily basis. The only one I had a problem with was Lisa but, she is long gone from the company as far as I know. I love the gounds and for the price it is one of the best in the area. They FINALLY updated the gym last year thank god!Cons. The gate is constantly getting ran into. Alcohol and impatience have to be involved but, none the less. The gate is rarely in working condition. I left do to two things. One, I bought a house. Tired of throwing money away. Two, my rent kept going up. As to be expected of course. But, I think the company itself does very little to maintain its current residents. Nothing on the staff who have very little say in that area. Did not have much interaction with the maintenance staff but, nothing was ever done to dissatisfaction other than my heater not working well. Could have been the 3rd floor though, so.All in all a great apartment to live in.
Its a beautiful property would love to live here the apartments are nice and clean
Apartments are nice and staff is always helpful. Would recommend these apartments.
I have lived here for three years. Its not bad dont believe the other reviews. It is kinda on the expensive side for what it is. Its like paying 650 for a 550 apartment but thats cost of living in okc for you. Heather in the office is amazing!!! If I could rate just heather she would get 5 stars
Brenda Musgrave, Property manager at Crown Pointe apartments at 12600 N MacArthur Blvd, Oklahoma City, Ok wrongfully filed for eviction on 03/23/2018. She has has a personal problem with me because I’m in property management as well and have been for over 8 years. In March she gave me a 30 day notice to vacate/ Termination of residency because my lease was ending on 04/30/2018 and she did not like the fact that I told her to stop calling my job asking about my rent payment and to call my personal cell. She left rude messages with my coworkers and harassed me after I told her I would be late. I advised her that there was a freeze on my account and I would not be able to pay on the 15th (the day I always paid because of the days my pay period fall on) She then told me after she filed on me, I would need both months and I told her that was fine. I went into the office and gave her $1841.00, the total for both months including legal fees. After I received the notice to vacate from her, I emailed her and told her I will be moving out before my lease ends and I will be making an arrangement to pay off my balance, She still filed on 03/23/2018, after giving me a 30 day notice. From my understanding, if you give someone a 30 day notice to vacate, you cannot take legal action until after the 30 days. I turned in my keys before April 30 and sent her an email stating so. So now I have additional fees because she filed before giving me enough time. She is unprofessional and lies to get results. She even gave me a fake court date in February. She called me on Presidents’ day (courts were closed) and told me my court date was the 27th, when in fact it turned out to be the 28th. Had I took off work to attend the hearing, there would’ve been a problem. She needs to be held responsible for filing an eviction when my lease ended in the same month and I told her she would have my keys. FRAUD! NOT FOLLOWING FHA GUIDELINES. DO NOT RENT FROM HERE UNTIL THERES A NEW MANAGER.
Absolutely love living here, best place I have ever lived
This place has gone downhill since I lived here the first time. I lived here in 2010 and no issues. I moved back to Oklahoma in 2014 and decided to try CP again since I had such a good experience. Little did I know how much of a mistake that was going to be! The first year was fine so i renewed my lease but then the neighbors below me moved out and another couple moved in... I had to call security on them SEVERAL times for LOUD parties on the balcony!! I even called okc police bc they started physically fighting one night and woke me up. Not to mention all the times I would smell weed in my bathroom. Nobody picks up after their dog, people sit in their cars with the music blaring at all hours of the night. I had to move it was starting to get too rowdy for me. The office manager is very nice but its not worth it! Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere! Dont live here!!!
When we first got to CP we wanted a unit with a fireplace. The only unit available was on the 3rd floor. Oh well we really wanted a fireplace so we took it, signed our lease, and wanted to see it. They told us they were installing carpet. 2 weeks later we still couldnt see the apartment cause of the carpet, then finally get the keys 1 day before we move. We go in to see our unit and there was no fireplace yet they were charging us for a unit w/fireplace. And our unit was small. I asked what the square ft were and they told me 1050. Now way! Six months, 2 drug dealing neighbors, & 1 OBN raid later we finally moved to ANOTHER Case & Assoc. apartment. SAME EXACT BUILDING AND LAYOUT, but somehow much bigger than our unit at CP. Our new unit at the new apartments was 1050sq ft! They(Crown Pointe) lied to me and told me our unit was 1050 when in reality the unit was less than what they told me.One time we smelled pot in our unit. It was coming from the vent. Another time I was out on my balcony and the neighbors were smoking pot right on the balcony. We notified the office of what unit was doing it and all they did was put a note on the entire building pretty much saying it was illegal and cant smoke pot. Nothing about consequences was mentioned. Other than the shady neighbors smoking pot, drug dealers, and raid, not a bad place to live...if youre a dealer.
Honestly I cannot stand being here any longer and cannot wait for the opportunity to move out.Basically here is the deal. The apartments look fine. They do appear to be clean and not much of a noise issue. Weve never been robbed or felt like this was an unsafe area. So far so good. However there is a major issue with cockroaches here. We have complained, complained, complained. they have had a guy out 3-4 times to come spray but they still keep coming. We keep a very clean house, especially since we have a little one, but they are everywhere it seems. The guy that sprayed our place even said its not us. Also their maintenance here sucks. the tiles on the bathroom floor and kitchen were comming up and I asked them to come fix it 2 months ago and again last month with no response. so I ended up fixing it myself. One time they had to cut out a piece of wall in one room to fix a leak on someone below us. Then only returned 3 months later to actually paint the wall back to the color of the rest of the apartment. Do not move here, its not worth the money you pay at all. Their are much better options for this kind of price.
The only thing good here is the maintenance guy, really nice man who gets things fixed. Moved into this place with a 13 month lease, we put in our notice early and paid our 3 months rent to break lease. I called around August 25th to shut off electric, at that time I was told by the OGE agent that the apartment had already taken control of our electric bill and we were good to go. Today on September 15th, Kim (assistant manager) called saying we needed to return the service to our name and pay the bill. I tried explaining to her that the apartments are the ones who took control of our unit, she got extremely rude and disrespectful stating that it was impossible and that could not have happened and we needed to pay the bill, she continuously cut me off and kept trying to blame it on us. I called OGE to confirm and they have it on their records that CROWN POINTE kicked us off the units electricity bill on AUGUST 3rd! It is not the customers fault that their people screwed up YET AGAIN and dont want to take responsibility. Simple solution, take the $2100 from breaking lease and pay the bill yourselves and own up to your mistakes and for being extremely rude to a customer. The property manager looked into it and discovered it was her staff who screwed up and said she would get back to me. I never heard back. 5 months later they I get a notice from collections saying they were coming after me for the roughly $150 that was a screw up on their end. Run while you still can.
Courteous staff...Thanks
I have lived here for a little over a year. I love my apartment itself, but the office staff is horrible. The man that works in there is rude and unhelpful. We had to practically harrass the leasing agent to call us back when we first started with them. The maintenance staff tends to be rude and invasive if they come to fix something. I plan to stay here because I live on the third floor and moving out would be a pain and I dont have to deal with the office staff that often. They have no customer service skills and will act put out if you ask them to do anything. I love my apartment, I hate the office staff.
Was very disappointed. The model apartment is great but the rest look barely clean and smell horrible.
No issues. Very happy here
Property Manager freaks out on the smallest things and will never work with you.
Great place
I love this place!
Staying in these apartments was a bad experience . After staying in these apartments for a month I noticed bite marks on my body . Come to find out the apartment was filled with Bed Bugs . Two residences that just moved in had this issue . If you don’t want to buy new furniture,, clothes and new bed set then I wouldn’t move into these apartments .The picture are the pain my residents and I went through .
Office staff is ridiculous
