Not really a gated community in my opinion. Gate is usually broken or open and the pass code is your own phone number now instead of the key card we originally were given (because they didnt work) and are regularly given out because there isnt a delivery code or a guest code so who knows whos coming in.GUN SHOTS are very common at night IN THE PARKING LOT or the street between Persimmon Square and Heritage Hall and have gotten worse over the time Ive lived here. My partner and I have literally hid behind a car at 11pm walking out of our apartment because the gun shots were so close and people often hop the fence in the dog park. One guys told me hey dont worry, Im giving money to my momOkay random person I trust you ๐ŸฅดYou will not receive packages at your residenceThe entire complex and a few others share one maintenence man

I would not recommend you move in here. They gave me apartment that came with dirt on the walls, scratches on the counter and other less than ideal traits of a new apartment. If you decide to live here, make sure you take thorough documentation of every scratch, smudge and any issues that are present when you move in.I lived in Persimmon Square Apartments for three years. The three years were decent. The staff was kind and it was decent place to live. For the most part, I had no qualms for with experience there. When I moved out, my warm sentiment towards the property shifted. I received a series of charges for damages that were present when I moved in. I was charged for dirty walls and damage to the kitchen counter. When I consulted management and shared documentation of the state of the apartment when I moved in, which included an email I sent three years ago about those same damages, I was dismissed and now have to go through this long process of clearing my name.

Have lived here almost 11 years. Apartment complex has seen better days, but has also seen much worse. Always enjoy interacting with the maintenance as theyre prompt and friendly. Cannot speak much regarding the [current] property manager & leasing agent as have not had too many interactions with them as of yet (they seem to change out about ~2x a year as theyre moved to bigger properties - Some have been wonderful, others, not so much). They do appear to price close to apartments that are newer/have more amenities, so I do wish Case would keep that in mind. Do wish theyd add more amenities sometimes however, and fix the package mailbox/replace the keys to it so I dont have to keep going to the post office to pick up packages (this comment is/was written during Covid times, so package holding at the office has been temp. suspended, which is a nice thing to have). :) But yeah, overall its not a bad place to live.Edit: Dropping to a 2*. Leasing office doesnโ€™t accept/refuses/update (USPS) that theyโ€™ll accept packages, unlike an email sent on 4/1/21. Requested some higher value packages go to leasing office bc of their value & found them on my porch. If this gets rectified I may return the star, but seems fewer & fewer amenities for the price point which is increasing.

I moved into Persimmon Square in early 2016 and left almost exactly 5 years later in 2021. Honestly, if the opportunity to move out of the state hadnt arisen Id probably plan to live there indefinitely. The apartment staff has always been helpful and kind, the maintenance crew has never been slow to come fix problems (honestly even during the COVID pandemic theyve been responsive).I wont necessarily miss living in Oklahoma all that much, but honestly this was a great renting experience.

I think the price for the apartment is overpriced for the condition the apartments are in. They arent bad but I used to live in a way nicer apartment and paid less. But other than that the office helps and is nice and the maintenance people help as needed.

Lived here for 8+ years, was a wonderful place when I first moved in with mostly long term tenants. Over the years with multiple manager changes the whole complex deteriorated due to lack of upkeep. Became hard to get issues addressed in a timely manner. Exterior of the buildings is run down, paint peeling, siding loose or missing, exterior lights not working, see entrance lighting, door frames rotting out. Still a pretty nice place but not near as nice as it was.

My experience with Persimmon square apt so far has been a good one. When i have a maintenance problem they get right on it. Office staff has been helpful doin this crazy time. So far we have enjoyed living here at Persimmon Square . quite most of the time. The parking is the only bad thing about this property. It would be nice if Carr purchased the land just West of the backside. To make more room for parking.

An edit. I previously gave 5 stars and am only editing it because of loud neighbors:Ive been here two years, and I like the complex, but if you value peace and quiet, donโ€™t move into a unit on the first floor. Or, if you do, try to figure out who your neighbors are. My previous neighbor was fine, but the newer neighbors are incredibly loud. The little kid runs and jumps all the timeโ€”clear up until midnight sometimes. The drywall on the ceiling is cracking and sometimes the lights flicker when heโ€™s jumping. Iโ€™m moving out of state, but even if it was just across town, I would move because of these neighbors. Iโ€™ve complained to the office multiple times, but really, itโ€™s a little kid: you canโ€™t truly expect kids to not be hyper. I just think that people with small kids should be required to live on the first floor. I know that isnโ€™t ever going to happen, but in a perfect world...

So far I have only lived here one month. I will make another review and give an update and the end of my six month lease in October. So far, the office staff are kind, welcoming, and have gone out of their way in order to assist me with my move-in. They have even stayed late to accommodate my schedule and get my lease signed on my time, even though it was after hours. It took a while for my apartment to be ready, however, the reason for this was because they wanted to make sure there was a fresh coat of paint on the walls, and brand new carpet. I was able to come doing a showing throughout the prosses to see the progress of the apartment. I viewed if a total of three times before signing day. The office is stocked with cookies, candy, coffee, hot chocolate, and friendly faces. I have had a great experience so far and hope that it upholds. One of my favorite amenities of these apartments is the fact that I have a key card to obtain access in, it is very convenient. I also feel secure in the fact that Persimmon has over night security patrolling the premises.

My neighbors greeted my family and I and offered more than once to help us move in (wow moment)! As a family we could not be happier about our decsion. And I am finally in a place that represents my personality. I am grateful...

I have lived in Oklahoma city for 3 years now and have been living in Persimmon square for last 10 months. I feel this is the most safest apartment in the area around. Its cozy and quiet unlike the other apartments in the area which are noisy.I had small issues but the maintenance is awesome as there is quick turnaround to fix the issue. And last but not the least manager Chrystal and Brittany are the nicest people that I have met, always happy to help and welcome residents with a smile. I am a happy resident of Persimmon square :-)

This is my first apartment experience and I was afraid since I have stayed in houses for the last 10 years that I would hate it due to seeing others experience so I shopped around until I found something closer to my liking and that Im sure none of my friends have stayed since I knew I hated those apartments and these are awesome. I can hardly hear my neighbors I can only hear the neighbors baby once a month which is very doable since Ive dealt with worse in a house. Its safe and quiet. And the price is cheap compared to what I am use to paying in a house. My bedroom is a fairly nice size and they put new carpet in when I moved in! Very cozy and I would definitely recommend to others!

Love my Apts. Quite, nice, smaller community, and its gated with car ports. Dont really have anything negative to say from personal experience and definitely would recommend. Oh the stairs in my apartment are really narrow. The washer n dryer is a stackable and I prefer the tradition style but its not a huge problem. As far as the office maintenance, they could be better but I dont have any complaints. Do your part and Im sure you will be good.

I had many problems living in persimmon square and many I feel were not fixed properly. We had a huge leak upstairs and it was literally raining downstairs from it and all they did was paint over the stains and suck up some water. The dishwasher never did clean and they tried to fix it multiple times. The washer for clothes was messed up and was off balance. We had problems with the neighbors being loud and someone elses dogs attacking ours. We ended up paying to break the lease and had some problems with that but the manager took care of it and helped us greatly.

We hated everything about this place. We rented a 2bed 2.5bath townhome. 1st off the property manager Chrystal Phea doesnt know the first meaning of customer service. She is very unprofessional in regards to her tenants. The first issue we had was when we went to see an apartment she takes us into the model which is different than any other apartment. So, next we go into this unit that has new black appliances that actually looks decent. We decide we want the unit she shows us and decide to start the paper work when we return to the office. When we get back to the office the housekeeper walks In asking a question and Chrystal then starts to freak out hands us keys to a unit and says here go look at that apartment itโ€™s right there next to that tree and basically shoves us out the door. By this point we are totally confused because we were filling out paperwork for another apartment. So, we go look at the unit as directed only to find out it has old nasty appliances and the closets arenโ€™t the same. So, when finished looking at the unit we go back to the office where she then tells us that she had โ€œforgotโ€ about renting the apartment we originally wanted. So, weโ€™re explaining to her that the apartment she had us go look at is not the same etc. She then takes us to one more that we settle on that didnโ€™t have the new updated black appliances but run down old ones and nasty carpet. She agrees to have the carpet replaced because of all the confusion. So, we decided to go ahead and rent because of the new carpet option. From the time we moved in we had issues with the refrigerator not working properly. First they replaced just the door, then they replaced the entire fridge with one that was even worse than the first one. We ended up with a fridge that produced black ice, and had rust and mold everywhere. When we called about the replacement fridge, we were told thatโ€™s all they had and we had to keep it. The next issue was the hot water, it lasted all of 5 minutes and thatโ€™s โ€œthe best they could doโ€. The worst thing we dealt with was flooding. Every time it rained our entire kitchen was covered in water. I understand here in Oklahoma we can have some major down pours and flooding is expected. However, if it only sprinkles and you have water coming in something is wrong. We complained about this several times in writing, so that we would have proof of everything when we moved out. After all the flooding and several other maintenance issues werenโ€™t addressed we then decided we needed to move out. We tried calling another Case property โ€œPrairie Springsโ€ to ask about transferring to their complex since they are owned by the same management company and explained all the issues we were having with maintenance and Chrystal. The fact that 1st we were told to submit maintenance request online, then email, and then finally to call; Iโ€™m sure so there wouldnโ€™t be a paper trail of all the request that werenโ€™t being handled properly. Basically just the fact that we werenโ€™t happy with the way the apartments were being managed at all. We were told by the manager at Prairie Springs that Case doesnโ€™t allow people to transfer complexes that we would need to break the lease. So, we ended up paying thousands to break a lease, just to get out of an unlivable apartment. We wouldnโ€™t recommend anyone live here, unless you would like to put up with: flooding, unprofessional property manager, unfair treatment, bad maintenance, old rusted appliances, thin walls, bad neighborhood, the gate always being broken, and the office never being open during business hours. The only thing that we liked about this complex was the housekeeper she is the friendliest person youโ€™ll ever meet, and seems to care more about the people than the actual manager does.
