On 9/13 I had them come out and check my mini split that was not blowing cold. The service man checked the system and said it was leaking at flare fittings. He said he tried to tighten them but could not get them any tighter with his small adjustable wrench & pliers. He would have to order the seals for it at the cost of $350 to 375 plus another $95 service call. At almost the cost of the unit new I decided to not service it and remove the unit. A couple days later I was taking the unit out and when I put the wrenches on the flare fittings to remove the came apart with 2 fingers. There was no torque on the fittings. How could they be tight with him and so loose when I tried to remove them? To make this short I tightened the fittings with wrenches that fit the flares. I called another company to vacuum the system and recharge it. It has been a week now with my air blowing ice cold. I will not use or recommend them!Yes, I was next to mechanic and offered him proper wrenches that is when he said it is as tight as he could get it. Its not cheap Chinese, its a Daikin. Mechanic said it needed flare seals, never mentioned cutting and replacing flares. As for contacting me, mechanic had no problem reaching me to say he was 30 to 40 minutes away. I have an answering machine that is always on and working. I checked my call log and there is nothing from your office . If you truly want to resolve this and have review removed call me, my home number is on the receipt for service and I gave it to receptionist when I made appointment.Thank you.

I was having an issue with my ac unit leaking. The tech Daniel was so informative and educated me how to use and maintain my machine properly . There were a lot of things i was unknowingly doing that were harmful to my unit.i chose this company because the reviews said they were reasonably priced. this was very true for my experience. Luckily the problem i was having was minor :) thanks

We decided to use Allan & Rogers pretty much after the first phone call we made and spoke with Eileen. We had just had the run-around from another contractor who provided us with a quote that sounded better than it looked and in my gut, I just knew something was not right about that company. Then I made a call and Eileen and I just hit it off right immediately.One of the primary focuses of my personal job is to provide excellent customer service to our local citizens and visitors and when I spoke with Eileen, I could tell that she also knows the value on providing great services. She listened to what our needs are and brands we were looking for. She turned around a proposal in less than 12 hours and once we got it, we knew we were in good hands.Before our A/C was replaced, we went on vacation for a week and when we returned, our old A/C has lost the majority of the coolant. On a Friday evening, at 5:15pm, I made the call and Eileen had a service rep come out and re-charge our coolant. They were so great that they didnt even charge us for that re-fill, which is amazing. The following week, the install crew showed up on the scheduled day at the scheduled time and in less than five hours, our new A/C was installed.We cannot say enough about the courtesy and professionalism of everyone at Allan & Rogers. We are extremely happy with the unit we have installed; it has given us a lot of peace of mind, and for that, we are truly grateful. I would certainly recommend Allan & Rogers to anyone who needed their A/C serviced or are looking for a complete A/C replacement. We will be hiring them in the cooler months to replace all of our duct work next!Way to go!

Allan & Rogers customer service is a 10+Outside unit stopped working in the evening on a day with temps into the mid 90’s.I called left a message and Collin called me back in 4 minutes.Within an hour and a half he was at my home at the exact time he said he would be. Excellent punctuality! Capacitor was bad he replaced it with a quality warrantied part.I am up and running. Thank you guys sooo much!The on call services are on point.

Daniel was by far the most knowledgeable A/C and heating person I have ever met. He was on time, professional and courteous as well. Among his greatest traits, he was honest. Honesty is everything to me. Now I have cold air and warm heat. If I ever need service again, I will surely call Allan & Rogers A/C and Refrigeration.

Colin Rogers called me back in about 20 minutes. He showed up right before 5 pm, when he should have been walking through the door to his own house. What seemed like an easy fix (clogged drain), turned out to be more complicated (something had shorted out). He figured that out about 10 minutes later. Great guy who takes pride in what he does and obviously cares that his family name is on the business.

We have enjoyed a working relationship with Allan & Rogers for several years. During that time, we have referred several real estate clients and family members to them and have used them for maintenance ourselves. Ultimately, they replaced our AC Unit working with us while we were on vacation out-of-state so that we had a working unit when we returned home. They have always been quick to respond to problems, fair in their pricing, and have displayed the highest level of integrity. Where other AC companies have insisted on replacement, Allan & Rogers has often been able to provide a much more economical repair lasting for years. We are happy to refer them, and personally would not consider contacting anyone else for our Air Conditioning needs.

My wife & I recently went on vacation and while we were gone we received the dreadful call from our housesetter that our AC stopped working. This was not good, we were 1200 miles away from home and on top of that, as you know, it gets very hot in Florida. I contacted Allan & Roger AC & Refrigeration because a handful of years before we had the owner, Doug Rogers, came out to our home and conduct a systems check on our heating & air. When he completed the inspection, he indicated he had some good news and some bad news. The good news is that our system was working just fine however, although working fine, it was not working as efficiently because of its age. He then proceeded to let us know that in his professional opinion that there was no need to replace the system because the system could still run for quite a while. Now I know as well as anyone else, that is a peaceful relief to hear that you don’t have to pull out several thousand dollars for a new system. I tell you this story to say this, my first experience with Allan & Rogers and their integrity, led me to have no hesitation to contact them again and that is what we did. They were able to replace my system even without us being there and it was so refreshing to come home to a new system already installed with piece of mind. Not just a good company, a great company!!

They do great work with outstanding integrity. There are most likely other great team members of whom I am not aware, but I am sure they offer the same skill, dedication and integrity as those mentioned above. Do I recommend this stellar team for your HVAC needs? Absolutely!

Had a appointment for Friday that was cancelled due to rain so they reschedule me for Monday. Monday morning i call to find out what time they were coming, i was told noon. Around 1.45 i get a call from my renter that a tree fell. So i call the ac place back . The response was. I told you earlier they would be there at noon,i said it is 1 45. She said sometimes it takes 10 minutes, sometimes it takes 2 hours he will get there when he can. First of all i didnt get to explain why i was calling again. Second you should not be so rude to someone trying to spend money with you. This is a real review love how you flipped it like you couldnt accommodate my schedule. if you wouldve responded to my service call like you did my review you would get 5 stars. you was super late and super rude . To anyone reading this, dont waste your time and money there are other companies . Youve been warned. Nice review with the multi zone dampening system. Im sure your costumers know what that is . Our AC system quit in the middle of summer with a new baby in the house. I called this company and they had someone out that day to take care of us. Not only was the technician polite, but also honest as he found our problem was simply a drain pipe that was clogged and therefore had triggered a kill switch to keep the system from overflowing. I wasnt home, so he definitely could have taken advantage of the situation and charged us for for something worse/more expensive. Since then Ive had them over once a year to clean our coils and service the system and have had zero problems.

My AC went out early morning on July 4th, Allen & Rodgers sent a polite young man named Devin. Devin got to my apartment within an hour of being called, and had my ac fixed soon after !!! Thank you so much & Happy 4th of July

Doug Rogers and his team over at Allan Rogers are top notch! We have a restaurant and when our goes down it goes DOWN! Every guest in the place will be hot and the staff will be get dangerously hot in the kitchen. Thats exactly what happened this past summer and Doug himself with a few of his staff came out and fixed it immediately. Our project was a big project and needed extensive work and he was kind patient and affordable through the whole thing. Best service around you will not be disappointed.

The people were great, good price. I Had one small issue. They were right out to fix it. Called the 24 hr. number, fixed in mere hours. A good set of folks. Id call them again. Im glad thats who we got to do the job................It’s been 3 years and the ac is so cold it will run you out of here if you’re not careful. The heat (heat pump) kicks like a mad man ( works very well ). I don’t know anyone else.

Couple years ago we had them come out and the AC technician was on his phone for 80% of the time. We were charged as if he was actually WORKING on the AC. When he was on the phone with tech it should have been a different amount. We only know that because the technician that had to come the next day told us that. Respect the second guy that came out and was honest, but never again will I use them.

I bought a house where the four point inspection said the AC didnt work. Colin from Allan and Rogers came out to my home and looked it over. The unit had never been hooked up, it just needed charged and thermostat wire. Very cheap resolution and honest evaluation.

I personally know Colin Rogers as a true professional, honest and trustworthy. So many times I hear stories of how a company will suggest a new unit or expensive repair and Colin finds the affordable and reasonable solution. HIGHLY recommend.

Honest and fair. I started using Allan & Rogers on the recommendation of a co worker, and could not be happier. I have had few bad experiences with other companies, but these folks went out of their way to make sure I had before bedtime! Update 2020-. Had them service my ac and we found that the prior company had NEVER cleaned the coils in 10 years. That coupled with a wifi thermostat they recommended saves me $100 a month on my electric bill. Love these guys!

Colin Rogers really knows his stuff when it comes to AC. His integrity and honesty are above and beyond.

Allan & Rogers installed an air conditioning system, with gas heat, in our home. The installation required modification of ductwork, etc. as it is an older property. The installation was very professional and the system works excellent in both winter and summer. Great company!

Worst company. And I caught them lying about what was wrong with my system. They used to be good when they had some knowledgeable technicians. Now all you hear is lies, lies and lies out of their mouths. They wanted me to get a new system from them for $6,000. Called a different company and $150.00 later system blowing cold for more than 2 months now. Dont Deal with them.

Colin Rogers and his firm are very honest and reliable repairmen. I wouldnt hesitate to recommend their services to anyone.

I used their service on 2/19/16 and they found the system was low on refrigerant. Called them back out on 5/25/16 and they added more refrigerant and noticed a small leak. On 5/27/16 they came out a third time and found more leaks, said the compressor needed to be replaced and still added more refrigerant. Spent a total of over $300.00 on refrigerant not to include labor and taxes. Why add more refrigerant when you know it is only going to leak out again. VERY DISSATISFIED! Will not use them again!!

I used Allan & Rogers A/C of Ocala to replace an aging heat pump with a new Rheem system.The installation was done right the first time. The two installers worked very hard and I soon had a new heat pump up and running in just a few hours. I had to ask a few questions from both of the installers and I received courteous and knowledgeable answers every time. And yes they cleaned up everything before they left. I gave Allan & Rogers A/C of Ocala 5 stars and they deserve everyone one of them!
