High Recommend Cook’s Air Conditioning! I called about 10 different companies trying to get an appointment to come fix my AC that had broken and most were rude or unprofessional and had reps that didn’t show up. From the first call I had with Cook’s they were extremely professional and nice. The representative walked me through some basic things to check first to make sure whether they needed to send someone out or if it could be fixed on my own. Jerry came out the next day. He gave me a time range he would be here around and ended up coming earlier. Within the hour my AC was back up and running and he explained everything he did and some recommendations on what else I should consider in the future. I will absolutely be using them for my future AC needs!

Temperature was in the 90’s and our air conditioner decided to stop working !! I called cooks and technician Jerry called us back, he was very compassionate about our situation. Jerry was swamped with calls and had us do a couple things to see if it was the problem but unfortunately it didn’t make it cool. He promised he would be to our home ASAP and yes it was a Sunday, and he did come at 10:00 pm cause he didn’t want us to have to suffer on a hot day ! He knew what to do and had us up and running in no time at all. Great company great service will definitely use for all my HVAC needs

Bobby was great he showed up w/in 20 minutes to my surprise, since this was an after hour call. He fixed all my A/C issues. I would and will use him in any A/C or heating issue that may present itself in the future.

The best Ac/ Heating company! They always come out when I call even when I mess something up. Another company 1 year before told me I needed an air conditioner when I did not. They gave us a choice to fix or get a new one!!! Excellent customer service!!!!! Will never call anyone else!!!

Mahlon Oglesby is amazing. Very respectful and fast. I called him at 2:00 pm and got her not even 10min later. He worked with us with these times being hard. He understood and helped us with the payment. Please if you looking for a AC company please call them and make sure you ask for him.

Instead of real options for repair of a so-called leak tried to sell me a $15000 AC unit with 20 year financing which would have me making payments five years after the life of the unit AND TOTALLING $28000. what a waste of time. WHY CAN I NOT FIND AN AC REPAIR PERSON ANYMORE???? ALL THEY DO IS TRY TO SELL NEW UNITS. As a result I have spent weeks and many hours on youtube watching real HVAC techs repairing units exactly like mine very easily even units older than 15 years. wish I could get those guys to come to my house. The first company that comes to my house and says they can keep my unit running (which it is) for a few more years will be the one I buy a new unit from.

I needed service on a Sunday. Mahlon Oglesby was my tech. He was very friendly but more importantly, he was very quick in identifying and fixing my issue. Cooks number is now saved in my phone for any future needs.

Excellent service! A/C went out and called on Thanksgiving morning. They told me a service tech would be contacting me. Within 20min I received a call from Bobby to get my address. Got here and was able to fix the problem quickly and very friendly considering it is a holiday. He was also very knowledgeable and explained in detail the issues he was seeing and what he was going to do to fix them. Would highly recommend!

Had to have a new Air conditioner relocated from my attic to my garage Elliott and Ryan worked on this big job to 9 pm at night and were very nice did as much as they could even put in 2 window units in the house to keep us comfortable. Than Brody and Jeff came that night to see what needed to be done to complete the installation the next day . Very impressed with these 4 workers they were great .The installation was so neat and clean . We love are new system. Wonderful people would recommend Cooks to everyone. Used cooks to replace my 17yr old system. Cost, 18000$. Installed in October of last year. Since then, its broken down 4 times. Ive spent a total of about 4 weeks with no ac waiting for parts. Now, when I want to speak with a manager, no one is available 😂. Been waiting for 2 hours to speak with management to resolve this situation. Guess even if you spend almost 20k $$ you dont matter. Avoid this company like the plague, unless you have extra money to burn for no reason.

Called for what I thought was a problem with filter installation. Mahlon O. came out and checked it. He was prompt, honest and professional. Issue was resolved with no actual repair or adjustment needed. Great company. Will recommend.

I had a Cooks tech to my house because my AC was blowing hot air instead of cooling. The tech replaced a part in 15 minutes and said we were good to go. Hours later the AC was still not working. The same tech came back to my house and said that my compressor was shot and recommended a new system. He sold me a new system and it was installed the next day. The new AC was installed...hours later the $6200 AC I just bought from them isn’t working! I will never use them again and would not recommend them to my worst enemy. I have a wife, a 3 yr old and a 9 month old that dealt with 3 days of No AC during the month of May in Florida because of this companies incompetent technicians.

Response got her air-conditioning and heating system going right away thank you cooks for the fast response we will be putting a nice new unit in with them shortly.

I need to let everyone know how happy l am with Cooks air conditioner. Last night my air went out. You can imagine how hot the house was. One phone call and they were here. Very polite and friendly. Did there job fast and didnt try to sell me something I didnt need. Will never call anyone else. Thank you.

Our a/c unit stopped cooling on the Sunday of Independence day weekend so we called Cooks Air Conditioning. Much to our surprise we got a call right away from Jerry. He said that either he or another technician would be out but it would be closer to 8 p.m., which we were fine with. Just happy they could make it out. Next we received a call from Matt saying hed be there at 6. We were so afraid that this older unit had given up the ghost and were dreading bad news. We were sweating more worrying about the thousands we might have to spend on a brand new a/c unit. As it turns out it was a relatively minor issue with a capacitor. Everyone we spoke with was so nice and the technicians were very polite and professional. Summer in Florida is the perfect opportunity for dishonest repair folks to take advantage of a bad situation. Thankfully, Cooks Air Conditioning and Heating does not conduct business like that. Rest assured, when our a/c unit finally does give us all shes had, we will be calling Cooks Air Conditioning.

When our air conditioning unit gave up the ghost, the August heat of Florida threatened the health of my elderly relatives. Another business told us it would be two weeks....seriously??I called Cook’s and told them our situation. They sent out two gentlemen right away, and they got the job done in a day.These gentlemen could not have been more courteous and professional.We are very happy with our new unit, and would recommend this company to all.

Our service tech was Mahlon. He came out on a weekend night to get us back up and running. He arrived exactly when expected and was very thorough, courteous and genuinely seemed happy to be helping us. No price gauging and spent extra time making sure we did not have any other potential issues. We were very impressed with Mahlon and Cooks Air.

Your tech did a thorough job and found some problems and fixed them nothing major. He also informed me I was using the wrong filter and recommended I get the right ones from you. He recommended that I replace the blue light bulbs on my filter system which I will have done on the next check up. In short I was very impressed by him.

Matt was the repairman who first came to our house to give last rights to our 22 year old ac unit. Matt treated our champ with respect as we remembered summers past of 100° heat with 100% humidity that our old unit helped us to live through. Jerry was our salesperson and it was a no pressure presentation. We talked about our wants, and he showed us options that were available. Chris and Elliott are friendly, knowledgeable and effective. I asked a million questions while they were installing my new unit, and they answered each one patiently! Cooks Air was a great find for my family and I definitely recommend this company for your heating and cooling needs.

Salesman came out, didnt listen to our needs, was way too pushy and his price was very unreasonable. Got it done for $1000s less elsewhere. To the owner in response. This account is still in my maiden name but yes it was your company and the salesperson was Dean. I really dont need to discuss it as we started out needing a Manual J for the county and your company said they could provide one. Instead we got Dean who just wanted to sell us a larger system than needed.

Jerry came out today and checked the unit throughly. It is now up and running after a thorough check of both the inside and outside unit.Wonderful to have someone you trust to do the job right for you.We have also had them come out to install a new thermostat.I would recommend this company any day for repair or a new unit.When we are ready our new unit will be coming from Cooks

Upon calling at about noon on a Sunday, Mahlon was able to come out and address the problem. He was prompt, courteous, and was willing to explain everything as he went along. After being without A/C for a day, in the heat of summer with a newborn, it was a relief knowing that Cooks technicians carry spare 3/4 HP blower motors with them!I highly recommend this company. If possible, be sure to ask for Mahlon!

Called Saturday morning and left a message regarding our air not working. Got a call back in less than an hour with a technician who tried to troubleshoot the problem. He was very patient. Determined a tech was needed and one responded in the afternoon. Had the air working soon after. After filling with Freon, the tech was unable to explore as to where the leak was and stayed that would be an additional charge and service call. Overall we were happy with the quick and courteous service .

Omg. Whare do I start. Please get a second opinion if you try these guys first. This guy was acting like a total salesman. Make a long story short, this guy (JERRY in ocala) said we should replace our unit, that it would be 5-11 k. That if we didnt, it would cost over 3 k to replace coils etc. Needless to say we knew he was full of it. Someone came out the next day, put freon in it and only cost 150.00 and works awesome. It really pisses me off people who try to rip someone off. He tried to rip the wrong person off. Trust me here, go somewhere else! Doesnt even deserve one star.
