I love everything about planet fitness. I’ve never enjoyed working out especially in front of people but at planet fitness I’ve never felt more comfortable. The staff is also very wonderful I would definitely recommend this to everyone because it made me start enjoying working out and getting control of my life again. I also love all of the benefits that come with having the black card including that I can go to any planet fitness without an extra charge. if you get the black card you can also bring a workout buddy which is amazing because I hate working out alone. Super thankful for planet fitness :)

I love planet fitness! I can visit all the clubs at no extra charge. With the black card membership($20/month), I have full access to the Hydro massage chairs plus the tanning bed if I choose. The best part, I am not paying for a whole lot of classes that I know I would not take. There’s also no contract! I am not sure how they do it, but I’m thankful that they do.

Planet Fitness has extremely nice employees who help with any questions a guest might have. They are very knowledgeable about their job. I love how many machines PF has to offer and the classes offered as well. Overall the ambience of the gym is lovely as well. Not only are the employees friendly but so are the guests. I wish I would have joined sooner.

Super Clean! Easy to set up a membership without the hard sell.No, they dont have a pool, but have you seen the pools at the other gyms? Dirty, unkempt holes filled with water.Dont know about you, but Im willing to have a beautiful, clean, sanitary gym sans pool.

Spotless, nice new equipment, everything in working order. Friendly staff that will gladly help, and answer any questions you may have. Over all a very relaxing, comfortable energy/environment, even if youre just starting out, such as myself.

Im very pleased with my experience at planet fitness. Its an affordable gym that is open 24 hrs a day. There is plenty of equipment and have never been when its too crowded to take advantage of the equipment. The black card gives you access to daily tanning, massage chairs and other amenities. People of all sizes are there working out and no one stares or makes you feel uncomfortable. Ive been going for about three weeks and will continue to go as I get into shape and build on that. The staff is nice. The place is so clean and there are plenty of sanitizing stations for anyone concerned with that. you do have to wear a mask in but as soon as you are ready to work out the mask can come off without concern for a virus that only attacks at the front door. I recommend the place, even with the mask in the door policy.

This location is one of my favorites in this area. The staff are always helpful and friendly and everything is always clean and well stocked at the cleaning stations. I have never felt uncomfortable and have always enjoyed my time there. There is a great selection of equipment and the hydro beds are always a great way to end your work out!

The Black Card Membership is a great improvement upon my life. It seems to be both a cost and healthy effective measure on a weekly basis. The entire experience comes down to maintaining proper strength, wellness, along with absorption of relief, and the machinery truly upholds all of its promised standards.No other business from what I have personally researched around Oak Ridge seems to come even fairly close for what is offered at this price in general.

There are 3 gyms within a mile of each other. This is by far the best. The equipment is new and the staff friendly. Its funny that the golds gym right beside this one charges 3 times as much and isnt half as good. If you are going to work out in oak ridge this is the smart choice. I only have one complaint. They wont let my kid in. She is 13 but they require an ID for proof of age. What 13 yrs old has an ID.

This gym will have been open three ( 3) years in August.. and they still dont have hot water in the locker room. Could they take some of the yearly maintenance fee and buy some used industrial equipment ??

The planet fitness in oak ridge is awesome good customer service friendly the gym has every machine for all of your needs and if whatever reason if you dont know how to use the machine all you have to do is scan the ticket and it gives you a tutorial I love the app has even just as much to offer even work out videos for at the gym or even at home they give you two options $10 a month for just yourself and you use the machines or you can pay $25 a month for yourself and a visitor and you get access to the machines and to the tanning bed and massage table and not to mention the gym is 10 minutes from home

This is the first gym that Ive been to where I actually feel comfortable exercising. The staff here are all very respectful and laid back, the locker rooms and restrooms are always clean as well as the equipment. I would definitely recommend this location!

I love the way that the club is laid out and the ease of use of all of the equipment. If there is anything that I dont know, I can reach out and someone will always help, no questions asked. It is super affordable and I can tan! Best of all, I can go anytime I want; and that is important to me as a busy mom and business woman. The app is pretty awesome too! My two favorite features are the guides that show you how to properly use a machine or do a workout and the crowd meter that shows how busy things are before I go.

Love the gym and staff but peturbed that that I cancelled my account before it was due and they still took the money out. I was told I had to cancel by the 10th. I had no idea about that. Now Im out that money and an overdraft fee. Corporate claims no responsibility because its a franchise. Lesson learned. I was going to go back after my move but I wont now.

It is open 24/7 so I can go at my convenience.

Staff is very helpful and friendly. $10/month is great!! Close to work. Gym is very clean. Plus I love the room that has equipment, steps, and a clock that works with interval training. The classes - Circuit Training, Upper, Lower, and Core classes are taught by the best - Ryan Mullins! He tells what muscles you are working and makes sure you are doing the exercise correctly. Been going to all his classes since Jan. and no schedule is the same. He mixes the exercise up.

Great club! Friendly staff, very clean facility and staff keep it clean even during social fitnessing times. New equipment and lots of room to spread out. I only wish they had more free weights, but thats a personal preference. Highly recommended, especially for first time gym goers. Cant wait until they can start classes back up.

I literally drive 30 minutes out of the way (Knoxville) to go to this PF! It is huge, people can space out, and it is MUCH better quality than any other in the area! Definitely worth it every single time!

About midnight tonight, I got to witness my roommate getting harassed while we were at Planet Fitness. A elderly female Janitor decided to walk inbetween me and my roommate while were having a conversation in the bathroom, and tell him that she would not warn him again about using the bathroom in front of her - even though though (A) she was in the locker room parelell to the bathroom. (B) neither of us had ever seen or spoken to her in our entire time of working out at this particular Planet Fitness. She was extremely CONFRONTATIONAL about the whole issue and was inches from my roommates face yelling at him.When we tried to complain to the manager on duty she followed us and began talking over us and trying to make a scene.I am concerned about my and my roommates well-being if we continue to go to this Planet Fitness as from what I observed nothing was done about this woman and she seemed extremely deranged

It’s clean, and the no judgement policy is great. I don’t feel like people are staring or making fun of anyone. I enjoy using the equipment which is also kept clean. Super friendly staff Whom are very knowledgeable about planet fitness. And it’s wonderful Hydro bed I lay on every end of a workout.

I recommend this gym.They have all the basic equipment, a pretty great body weight and free weight area, and a good number of organized classes.The big plus for me is the staff. I love their tanning bed selection of stand up or lau down as well as seated position or kay down hydromassage beds. For only $22.99 a month its an investment that is a no brainier! Absolutely do not like this company. I will say the gym and the people there were awesome and tried but the company.....NO. I signed up 2 months ago and entered all my information. The first month I was charged 37.99 because they said my account was invalid.....then how did they pull the money out? The second month I was charged 37.99 plus 22.99 because they said my account was invalid. Oh....but the money was pulled from my account....that is supposedly invalid. I called and they reimbursed the 37.99 and the same day they reimbursed me they charged me another 16.01....for I don’t know what. So in one month I paid about 80 bucks for a membership. I went to cancel today and was charged another 58.00 dollars to cancel. Never again. Please everyone read the fine print. When they say no contract it’s a lie. It’s completely my fault for falling for the no contract bull but the rest is the company. Horrible company.

I love how it’s not a body building place it’s more get toned, healthy and an enjoyable atmosphere. The staff is always welcoming, smiling and helpful. I can’t wait to get up in the mornings and go to the gym. The equipment is easy to learn. The music gets you in the mood to have an amazing workout!

The people are nice and i love their tanning beds. And they will set up an appointment to tell you what you need to work ok working out. It is a great place. I wouldnt go anywhere else.

The staff are always so friendly and helpful! There is tons of equipment so it never feels cramped even when its busy. The whole facility is always so clean and well taken care of. Best gym I have ever belonged to!

The staff is awesome! All the machines and weights are great. The extras that you get for being a black card member are great. They have had bumps because of the plumbing let’s hope that is fixed now!

My family and I joined a few months ago and are black card members. The gym is always clean and has plenty of equipment to keep you motivated. I personally like the red light therapy and the hydro massage chairs and tables.

Worst location in the Knox area due to the showers. At this location youre stuck in a 3x3ft shower that is 3 feet away from toilets. I will say the reps are very nice, though.

I attended this gym as a bring a friend with a black card member.I went to experience the gym and see if i wanted to join as i was looking for a gym to attend because i just moved to the area.My black card friend was going to the message chair after we worked out and invited me to go and check it out. Seeing as i was interested in a membership.There was a worker at the entrance who asked for her card and we told her that i was the bring a friend. It was her way that she replied. Oh no you cant go inMy friend and i looked at each other like wow but then said ok and she went in while i finished looking around. Long story short i found a great gym and they lost a potential customer .....customer servicer can end it all. It was not that she said no it was the way she treated me as if i were there for something free. And how she watched me as my friend was in the chair.

Open and August of 19 this facility is very clean and kept very well kept. The equipment is new and state-of-the-art easy for beginners up through advanced.

Does have some good qualities and some bad. The good qualities of course are the pricing, the variety of equipment, and the hours of operation. The not-so-good qualities in my opinion or the front desk staff at the Oakridge location. They dont seem to really know what to do except check people in. Perhaps that is their sole purpose and I am mistaken. I would like to see some weekend hours for trainers.

Always friendly staff, super nice in comparison to the other ones in the Knoxville area. Usually not too crouded. Wish they had lockers in the changing rooms though. All in all, a wonderful place to get a workout in for a great price!

New and very clean. Much more equipment variety, spacious locker rooms and overall not crowded at typical peak times. Recently made this my home gym and have zero regrets transferring from another location.

Visited Oak Ridge for work and decided to try the Planet Fitness here. Very nice clean, spacious facilities with great staff. Im actually a little jealous. My home gym in Houston isnt this nice.
