Really nice place to workout and very clean equipments. Friendly staff as well! Highly recommend it to others:)

No issues with the gym. On the day of my visit, it was fairly crowded.I was able to get on machines that I needed.Sanitation of the machines after usage.

Love coming here, however, HIGHLY disappointed that it is not open 24/7 again yet. For someone with a busy schedule, I haven’t been able to go for quite some time because of this. Would love to go when I get off work, however I get off after 10pm and the gym is closed at 7pm or 9pm. When will you be returning to 24/7? Hopefully soon so I do not need to switch to another gym. I like the amenities of this one, but it just doesn’t work for someone who joined because it was always open and I was able to find time. 🥲

The equipment, staff, and pricing are great. If a machine clangs or wobbles, its almost always fixed by the next time Im there. Most of the staff is friendly and helpful. They may need better pay and benefits as there appears to be higher turnover. It does get crowded at times. There is a crowd meter in the app but not everyone has a flexible schedule. When crowded, it can be frustrating as the locker rooms are too small and members can sit on machines. The mat area is also too small. Members need to drag mats out of this area for room. The front 30 min area is rarely used and could be swapped with the mat area. A second location in Eau Claire would be ideal. Also, the air conditioning does not seem to keep up and is really noticeable when doing cardio. The locker room has been less stuffy but the inner shower curtain has been removed from the showers and your clothes, shoes, towel gets wet. But overall this is a great place to work out.

Wow, is this how we take care of people. I havent used my membership since prior to Covid-19. After I received the annual fee auto payment earlier this month it reminded me shoot I still have this membership! I went in to cancel my membership and also seek a refund of my annual fee since I wont be using it this year and to stop my auto pay charge as well. They could do neither in this location their hands were tied. Also they could not provide me with a corporate phone number. They could only submit an inquiry email and then corporate would reach out to me about my request for refund. Its been over a week and Ive received no response. I mean should I really be surprised by a corporate business that continues to charge you during a pandemic when their location was closed for several months during. Frustrated to say the least!!

There have been now 3 notifications that there are 4 burned out bulbs in bed 8 come on cant you use a bed that all bulbs work? Its not a busy time of year for tanning I would think. Or just keep all equipment in good working order.

It was actually fairly busy on both of my recent visits at 930pm, however I was still able to access the equipment I needed. The staff, only one person that I saw, was nice though, like most PFs not very knowledgeable. Unfortunately due to covid, products i.e. lotions, drinks, merchandise, were also in limited supply.

Great gym. Very clean. Friendly staff. Wish it was a little cooler inside in the summer time. Could use better air circulation.

Love the gym. The equipment is awesome. The showers are amazing. I love how I have options for stand up or lay down tanning. I also cant praise the aqua massage enough. The reason for 4 stars is the limited hours. The crowds are always huge and the Eau Claire WI location isnt huge. I understand wanting to prevent COVID-19 but with constant crowds open to close I dont see how reduced hours help. Please bring back 24hrs. This way crowds thin out again and the gym is safer.

Super irritated with the new weekend hours and just the hours in general. So many other gyms have their full business hours back. Will be finding a new gym:(Do better planet:/

It’s bad enough they haven’t gone back to 24/7 when I know locations in other cities have but then they are shutting down the black card rooms a half hour before they close randomly. Why bother being a black card member if you don’t have full access the entire time their open or be offered the same hours of usage as people paying the same amount in other parts of the country!

My local Planet Fitness has a great atmosphere, great General cleanliness, and almost the whole staff is solid. If you can find Value and exercise, you can get it here for a fraction of the price should be paying elsewhere.

Usually clean and organized. Has some new equipment like rowing machines that Ive only seen at higher end places.

It would be nice if they would go back to 24 hours, since that was the main reason I joined. Not having the capability to go to the gym when I want is really a deterrent in continuing with the membership. I feel that Planet Fitness should discount the membership because that is not what was originally marketed when I joined.

I used to really like PF, especially the hours as my work schedule is crazy. I understand wanting to keep it clean and safe but with the limited hours it’s more packed and unsafe then being open 24/7 other gyms are open and staying clean and safe. Thinking about finding a new gym.

Great place to work out, black card members can always bring a friend for free!& Getting a massage after your workout is amazing!

This place is nice and clean. They work hard to make sure everyone feels safe.

The only thing I would like is a key card entry. I really dont like the phone app!

I held off cancelling in hopes the hours would change, but unfortunately you’re still closing at 7 on the weekends. Thanks for making it really difficult for the working class to get to the gym. Even Oakwood Mall pulled strings to stay open till 8 on the weekend.

Just started here but Im already loving it! Clean equipment, no intimidation and the staff is incredible!

I love working out here and would give it a 5 star but these weekend hours need to change!! I get done with work at 7 pm and was planning on working out after. The hours should go back to later or 24/7 like it originally was.

Dont accidently slam weights or theyll ring a lunk alarm. Good starter gym but not worth the hassle of trying to be careful with weights

Half the equipment is closed, small gym, always have to wait for equipment. Showers are always luke warm or cold.

I love the atmosphere here, even when its busy. The variety of machines, the hydromassage, the friendly guys at the desk. I loooove working out here. $20 a month to use everything is a pretty great deal.

Pretty good overall experience... just wish they had more than 4 squat racks since its nornally pretty busy. Lots of options for cardio though, if thats what your fitness goals include!

I was a member here for a year and it was a great gym. No squat rack or bench, just smith machines. Excellent showers and locker room. Probably a little too nice for the people who go there. It does get crowded.

Pretty decent place with standard equipment, nothing special, mostly fixed machines with an abs place and a small amount of free weights. Cardio equipment didnt work great. I tried an interval program on bike and treadmill and neither worked. I did like the massage chairs which almost earned a whole extra star in itself

Got a gym membership to lose weight and nothing happened called the gym and they told me I actually had to come to the gym. Who do they think I am? Channing Tatum? I wish

Depending on the time of day you go there is no one there or everyone and their mom is there. Wish the location was larger and wasnt land locked by being in a strip mall.Update a few years later - cancelled my membership at end of 2019 and was the best decision. Was always crazy busy - didnt matter if I went at 6a or 6p.

This is a great place. Their slogan is no gymtimidation. And it is true. There are people of every fitness level, and there isnt any intimidation or judgment. It is great that they are open 24 7. And they offer classes,massage, tanning, etc. All for a super great price.

They were very prepared to reopen with new safety measures. Constant cleaning was going on. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

On the whole, I love this gym. But a month ago I went in to change my banking info and the old and new bank were charged, but they don’t know where my new bank account is charging from. Not the correct amount for my membership. Everyone I have talked to is either rude or unresponsive. There doesn’t appear to be any interest in resolving or any concern that my bank account is being charged but no one knows where from.

The perfect place to workout!

Very clean, quick to fix equipment if it isn’t working. However, always very crowded. It is not technically a 24 hour gym because it is closed on holidays. A 24 hour gym has a key card where you can get into the building 24/7. This isn’t it.

Excellent atmosphere for everyone no matter physical shape. Easy to work out. Well displayed how to do each station in circuit. Trainers available for help. Fantastic place for all! Glad I motivated myself to go.

I joined just 2 weeks ago. The staff is very friendly and extremely helpful if you have questions.I signed up to meet with the personal trainer Tony and he created an exercise plan for me. He has helped me with the machines and learning how to maneuver my way through everything. I am very pleased to report I am already losing weight and have increased my strength to be able to add more weights to the machines! Very happy with Eau Claires Planet Fitness. I encourage everyone to meet with Tony, he is very helpful and really enjoys helping you reach your fitness goals.

Nice environment to work out in. plenty of options. I personally believe everyone should be held to the same expectations though! It should not be acceptable for some people to walk around in inappropriate clothing but others are told its against the rules.

Friendly staff, great location, but it would be awesome if you had more variation in machines. Not everyone wants to run on a treadmill the whole time and often that is all that is available. TIA!

Set up like every other Planet Fitness. Very clean and comfortable. Can be quite busy as it supports a town and a college campus, but other than having to occasionally wait for equipment it’s nice.

This company charges a yearly fee a month into membership!

I have been a member with Planet Fitness for over a year now and I have to say I love it! The people that work at the front desk are the best I have ever experienced at any gym Ive ever been too. The price for the gym membership is really reasonable even including the yearly maintenance fee (only charged 1 a year unlike most gyms). I love how fast Planet Fitness fixes their equipment you will never see a piece of equipment out of order for more than a day at the most. There is only one con which is the gym needs to be bigger especially with the new year.

This is my zen place. The place I go to give it my all and I dont have to worry about what others think because they are working as hard as I am. The perfect place for me to go and leave the days drama behind. I get a great workout, the staff is always friendly and its like my second home.

I would love to go back, but they dont have child care. They need more locations than just the one on south side of Eau Claire. Otherwise a great place to work out and have a personal trainer

The staff is friendly and they have a wide selection of machines to use. The have a huge selection of treadmills. You dont have to worry about not finding an empty one to use. This membership price is super cheap, but comes with a cost. If you dont already know there are no benches or squat racks, only Smith machines.

This was my first time being in this planet fitness as I usually go to the one in oconomowoc. This one is a lot larger than oconomowoc and has a couple more machines, the only thing I would have suggested was to put in one more Smith, but thats alright I was fine waiting a few minutes, everything else was great( staff, cleanliness lockers, etc.)

Love going here. Great Price, friendly stuff and clean everywhere. Just wish the changing room would be bigger and the shower curtain would be wider so it wouldnt keep a gap while showering. It also seems to get very busy on certain times.-Hope they open a second one in Eau Claire soon (preferably on the west side). I would love that!

Great place to work out. Non judgemental. The people at the desk pleasant and helpful with any question asked. I like it there is a place to stretch out before and after workout. Even when it is busy there are always machines available somewhere.

Cant beat the price! Always clean and the employees are very nice! Love the tanning and hydromassage. Would recommend to anyone who is just looking to get in shape and doesnt need a super intense atmosphere.

Friendly staff, great facility and tons of equipment to work on. Water for showers could be warmer and showers cleaned out a little more often. Another suggestion--Divide the 2 huge dressing rooms in half so there are 4 dressing rooms. Otherwise the Eau Claire Planet Fitness is well run!!

Great gym for the money. Hard to avoid the dude-bros, though, theyre pretty ubiquitous (Im not worried about offending them, since they probably dont know words that big). 3am is the best time to be there.

Well equipped facility, many treadmills, bikes, steppers, ellipticals, and weight stations to choose from. Locker room is always clean. Staff is friendly and helpful. Price is a definite advantage.

Wonderful place! The members make you feel important, the workers always place the needs of the members first and it is hands down the cleanest club in WI. Plus only $10 a month!

Needs more squat racks and more room people.

If youre serious about fitness, dont go here. Its always busy, unless you go between 11pm and 5am. The stretching area is super small and always filled with people. They only have three stairmasters, which are almost always filled. Its impossible to get youre full workout done while youre there. They dont have a large selection of weight machines either. Its a good gym for people who arent very serious about their fitness goals. The staff are super nice, the place is clean, and they have pizza nights and bagel mornings (which seems counterproductive). If you plan on working out for two months and then quitting, this is the perfect place for you, and you wont be losing a lot of cash. If youre really serious about fitness, just spend the extra money on a better gym.

I enjoy the flexibility and wide range of options. The staff are always pleasant and helpful and the facility is always clean and well kept. I also love that I can go to any PF in the country while traveling.

I love the idea of PF and how cheap it is. I have been a member for roughly five months and enjoy going here, especially with friends. Love that they offer TV to connect to on their machines and you dont even notice how fast time flies.Also would say that we need another PF in Eau Claire, because this one is chaotically busy and does put a little gym-timidation. Also would say it is just too crowded in general with all their equipmen and sometimes I like a little privacy when working out. Especially in the stretching areas.Their machines are kind of hard to figure out too. Im scared to use most of them because I dont want to look like an idiot.Normally there is a long wait for any lay down tanning. They do have very nice quality tanning beds and also offer stand up.I love their massage beds and how you are able to control the speed and pressure yourself.They have a very friendly staff that always greets you and the gym itself is always clean.

Everyone is so helpful. The staff go out of there way to make sure your needs are met.There equipment is always up and running you always have a large range of equipment to select from. Keep up the good work Planet Fitness!

Came in today at 12AM May 12 the young male employee with blonde hair was so helpful and extremely friendly. I have never come in this late In the day or even been Knowledged by anyone just as he did. Please find out who the employee was at the time and reward him. This place needs more employees like him.

I did go there and enjoyed it very much, the issue is there is only one location in eau claire and planet fitness is not on my way anywhere.
