I hate that I have to do this review, however I do feel it’s necessary... I am a licensed nail technician and thought I’d have a pamper day before Easter Sunday. Bad choice of a salon!!! I asked for stiletto nails and ended up with almond shaped nails. I expressed to the owner I did not like how the technician was laying my acrylic ( Flooded cuticles with product, no apex, uneven etc.) and her response was she’s been doing nails for 25 years and if anything breaks come back and see her.... How does that help me now? I pointed out the inconsistencies after the 1st nail was done. Instead of her being professional and fixing the problem before it got worse, she asked that I allow her a chance to finish. Although my pedicure was ok, their cleaning practices are not. I will never return to this establishment again.. waste of time and money!!!

This is my spot after wearing steeltoe boots for over 25yrs I get an ingrown sometimes and the owner Betty is the go to person to get it out very thoroughly and kind she is a miracle ❤ worker

I cant ever say enough good things about this place! I travel often and am never as happy with my nails as I am here! The quality and attention to detail is up to my standard and they will make sure you are happy!!! I will never stop coming here and highly recommend

Absolutely Love this shop especially the Owner. Betty does all the women in my family nails. She is so sweet and professional. She gets my nails together and Thomas does my pedicure. Love the fact that I can call and make an appointment or walk in. My favorite nail tech.

If there was a star lower than 1, I would use it. Wash area filthy and smelled like moldy rags with gnats everywhere. Betty did my no chip metallic gel overlay. Two nails chipped after 3 days. Third nail after 5 days. I returned and Betty told me they would repair. I told her that it was obviously a polish issue and wanted a complete polish change. She told me that would cost$20. I offered to split and pay $10. She stuck to $20 and I left. Bye girl!

Horrible service. Charged me $60 for gel mani and pedi that didn’t even last 5days (first time trying gel, told me it would last 3weeks!!!...and no I don’t scrub floors for a living). When I called for review and told them they should be ashamed of lying and stealing peoples’ money...told me it was “fine”. Never again.

Betty, the owner, does a phenomenal job with my nails. And anytime I need a fix, I can easily call ahead of time and she’s right there . They have many varieties of no chip polish and dip powders. Also, the shop is clean and organized . I go here all the time when I need to relax.

My first experience and last experience here was not good. I went to get a no chip Mani and the girl painted all over my cuticles, it totally looked like I did it myself. I let them know that I needed to have them redone but I couldnt stay that day so I came back. Anywho within a couple days it started peeling and chipping. When I went back for them to fix it Betty, Im assuming who is the owner said they can only fix one!!! How can you only fix one and they were all done sloppy in the first place. No thank you I will take my business elsewhere.

My husband loves this place. Sometimes the wait time is 30 minutes but its worth the wait, Mary did my manicure and pedicure she did a wonderful job and I didnt wait long .

One of the worst nail salons in the city! I wish I had taken a pic of the last job they did. A young man did my nails and he did a terrible job! No attention to detail. Sloppy and uneven work. I had a no chip fill in. I will NEVER go back!

Busy with repeat clients (always a good sign). The nail tech did a great job on both my manicure and pedicure, which was a bargain at $35. Great neighborhood nail salon.

It was ok! one & done! I asked for round & I got different shape pointy nails!! I asked for deep rose color & I ended up with orange because she insisted the color was close enough & I should try the new nail polish! Thanks but no thanks!!!

Ive been going to LV for 10 years. I love the service and my main-pedi results. Ive also had my eyebrows, facials, and other services done here. A great mini-spa! Often times very busy, but thats a good thing!

This salon is unclean, staff rude & mani/pedi quality is 👎🏿 If you’ve had a great experience that’s very rare. Ladies don’t settle for an inexpensive job on yourself just pay a little more for a quality job well done.

This place is a hit or miss. You never know how your nails are going to turn out. From shaping to nail polish.

My go-to, no frills mani pedi place. Theyve always done a great job on my nails and the price is right.

VERY friendly staff, however, the wait before being serviced is entirely too long, the no chip mani chipped within 24 hours, the matching mani-pedi polish did not match at all (3 shades off minimum), and the toenail shape was oval and my feet looked terrible. Not to mention I received a cold footbath and my nails were not manicured well. I will not be returning.

Thought Id give this place a second try but$60 for a half leg wax?! I was told that and walked out. Says $30 on your Google account online. There was a bunch of people there so maybe she wanted me to leave. They are rude and will make you wait, saying online 10 minutes if they talk to you at all. 0 stars

I went to get man/ped and it was horrible which was done by a very old man. I should have known better than to proceed. One week letter my cuticles are still crying. Poor very poor service. That was money totally wasted.Also I noticed they are not very sanitary. I think I will report them to the IL Department of Professional Regulations.

My experience has been great! Ive experienced an acrylic fill-in, no-chip manicure, pedi, & eyelash extensions - all very good quality service. When I lost a few lashes I returned and they replaced them at no charge. I got into conversation with the owners daughter regarding a bad experience I had at a nail salon down the block and they proceeded to tell me how this anonymous spot sabotaged existing and new business for them by intentionally moving their google map pin to their location. Customers who were looking to go to LV ended up at this business. They had an advantage simply because the owner is tech savvy & LV Nails owner is an older woman with no knowledge of reviews or social media. Having seen such negative reviews on here, it makes me wonder if they are part of the sabotage...especially considering that the people and service at LV are wonderful and perfectly satisfactory!

Prices are reasonable BUT if your worried about cleanliness or you want to stick to a time frame this isnt the place for you.
