Anthony did an amazing job! He is so personable and fun. He even made an exception for my family to get our pedicures and opened on Sunday because it was my wedding week! I would highly recommend this salon!

My Toes look like a child painted them I told the lady she said come back tomorrow ill repaint for you!! Um no Im here now and I walked out. Yes I paid for services but I should have not.

Im going to have to ask for Rita next time, if for some reason I return. My service was rushed and my requests were ignored and then I was talked to as if I was being unreasonable. I was very specific about what I wanted in my pedicure. I said I literally only wanted a soak, polish change and massage chair, No trim no shape and no buff! Well both my tech and the man nodded and interrupted me as if they knew exactly what I was saying, well next thing I know shes trimming and buffing and scrubbing I stopped her multiple times saying NO! I asked not to do this and then she kept talking under her breath and laughing and saying ok ok ok like she understood and I was unreasonable. Then all and all the shaping wasnt great, had to peel off dry acrylic, and the shape was different some nails. And then they put oil on your nail and supposed to rub it in, she Patted it on my hands said ok you done now and told me my total and as I was rubbing the oil into my hands myself and asked for a moment to do so, she proceeded to rush me and tell me my total again as if I didnt hear her and respond that I would need a minute to rub it in since she didnt. Basically never going back! #Ignore clear request # no attention to detail # attempted fake friendliness in the beginning # talk over you # clearly talk and laugh about you, massage chair broken, was only offered new one at the END of service. After he could see I was clearly upset he did say he wouldnt charge me for deluxe pedicure which was nice, but none of it was asked for or needed to happen in the first place and I stopped them every time they started to do anything having to do with the deluxe, so shouldnt be charged anyways.

Love this place! Always have a good time laughing and joking with the staff and other clients. Strong, long-time client base because of fun ambiance and excellent work. Very clean and safe! All of the staff do fabulous work, whatever you request!

This place has gone down in quality over the years. They seemed to get too busy and it felt as if they were rushing their work rather than turn anyone away. My manicure was uneven with uneven polish and I had to point this out several times to the owner that was doing my nails. I had bubbles in the topcoat on several nails that the owner said would go away as they dried, but didnt. My nails also chipped within a few hours of leaving. My pedicure felt rushed and I felt as if they didnt take the time and effort into it like they used to. My eyebrow waxing left wax on my eyelid that kept causing my eyelid to stick when I blinked and had to clean away myself and they did not do a good job of shaping nor waxing the entire brow, so I had to clean up the edges myself with a tweezer after leaving. The lack of quality I left with on this visit has me rethinking if I would return.

The first time I did a pedicure, it was good, after a few times I did it, I didnt like it much ... and the workers there did not do the pedicure very well.

This salon is the WORST. She took off half of my eyebrow after I showed her a photo of what I wanted!! She rushed through the waxing and used some waxing marker just to get back to another customer. I cried for days after… Never again!

This was my first time here, my sister in law gets her nails done here and they always look flawless. I’m not sure who did my nails but he was very nice and actually listened to what I wanted. I’ve been to nail places before that don’t listen to me when I have a concern and just do what they want. I mentioned that one of my nails looked crooked but I knew it was because my finger is slightly crooked. I’ve had past places straight up tell me the nails not crooked my finger is and didn’t do anything, he actually took the time to revisit the nail and cut it till it looked straight which I really appreciated.Also if you’ve read this far, some comments talk about how it’s weird that you can pay on card but not tip. They most likely do it that way cause the bank takes a percentage of all credit card transactions so you’re tipping, but not really.

Beautiful job...my nails can go almost a month before I need them done, but I still go every 2-3 weeks.

The whole staff is awesome and professional. They are really nice and know how to hold a great conversation. I feel like I am apart of a family every time I come. The owner Anthony is very funny and Rose, who does my nails, is very sweet. The prices are reasonable and the work is great. I just moved to the Milwaukee area and I am very happy that I took a chance and stopped in Star Nails.

It was my first time there. Walking in it was crowded and seemed a little unorganized. I noticed that they didn’t use liners on their pedicure bowls which kinda grosses me out but I didn’t get a pedicure so no bother. I didn’t like the lady that took off my old shellac. I felt like she filed way too much off the top of my nail. I did however love the girl that did my new shellac. She was fast but thourough. My polish has been on for well over a month and all it is, is grown out. I did break two and a couple peeled a little but then I picked at them so my fault. Overall I was impressed with the quality and how long they have lasted. One last negative was you couldn’t tip on credit card and I don’t carry cash. Luckily the lady let me but it’s kind of inconvenient if you don’t know ahead of time.

I love this place. It’s worth the wait and a good tip, unlike the people on here who complain (then get the problem fixed) and still don’t tip. BUT THEY KEEP COMING BACK. Because Star Nails is one of the best planes to get your nails and feet 🦶 done. Call and set an appointment and don’t forget to TIP..

I just came from the salon. I received a manicure and pedicure using their matching color nail polish. I did gel on hands and for toes just normal polish. I will say that they are polite, however, I had blood drawn on a few of my nails from removing cuticles. From the tool used to push cuticles hurt like no other as well! My toe color, even though claims to be matching, is a orange color. While my hands are neon pink (which is the color I use assuming was going to be on my feet as well). I received a design in my big toes which is fine basic lines. My hands they did a flower on my index finger - which is pretty but on my right hand the flower is to my middle right side of my nail with 6 petals and my left hand finger the flower is positioned in the middle but towards the base of my nail.... The environment is not very professional in my opinion. It took over 2 hours for my manicure and pedicure and I had three different individuals - one for my pedicure, second for my manicure and third for my designs. Like I said friendly people but I will not pick their neon pink matching color because you will be leaving disappointed in possibly more ways than one......

They always do a fantastic job! Staff is Very friendly, and so are the clients who come in to get nails done. Its so easy to strike up a conversation or join an existing one. Prices are fair, work is top notch! This has been my salon for more than 2 years now.

I have been going to Star Nails for over 10 years. Hours are convenient and I am always able to call ahead and make an appointment. Anthony does a super job taking care of my nails and applying liquid gel.

Amazing pedicure.

Will not patronize this nail place again. Was asked if I wanted my nails square or round!(filed) for a simple mani and got neither! Got them done just last Wednesday and they look like it’s time to get them done again! I have to file a couple of my nails because they’re already splintering! Also don’t like the fact that you can pay for service with your card but not the tip? Strange..UpdateHave went to this salon again and my nails are nice.

My gel polish chipped off on five nails the day after my fill. It was peel-y on the sides for all of the nails. On one nail the polish came off completely. The artist who did my nails was totally sweet, but it took her almost two hours for an easy fill/color. I probably wont return.

Miss Li is an angel. She is a very good nail tech but more important, she is a wonderful human being. I recommend her highly.

Absolutely the best manicure Ive ever gotten! I am visiting from out of town and had gotten the worst manicure Ive ever had right before we left. Walked into here and they fixed my nails in no time. So gentle, none of my fingers were cut as opposed to having scabs on every finger from my previous manicure. The staff was so friendly which is why they seemed to have so many regulars! Would definitely go back and will be recommending Star Nails to everyone we know up here!

Got me in by appointment right away, but the woman who put my full set on was extremely slow; I was there for 2 hours. I was fine with how long it was taking, because I thought she was just being really thorough & I would love them when she was done. My nails are way too thick, & both of my thumb nails have dips in them like she didn’t put enough acrylic on the tips... & then today (2 days after I had them done) the rhinestone that I had put on fell off, & the color that I had put on (nude pink) is kind of blotchy & she missed some spots on the sides. I don’t normally leave reviews, especially not bad ones but I paid $50 for these nails, plus tip because I didn’t want to be rude & she did spend her time doing it. This place was recommended to me, so I tried it out seeing as I needed a new set & the woman who told me had super cute nails. Maybe it was just the nail tech, but I won’t go again!! $50 can be spent better else where.

Horrible worst service I’ve ever gotten at a nail shop! I asked the tech not to make my nails wide. She did, I told her through out the process they were too wide she didn’t listen told me wait to the end she’ll file them down, then she got mad cause I was upset about my nails. She refuse to polish my nails because she said she didn’t like the color for me. The owner then stepped in he polished my nails tried to file them down, but still horrible I rate Star Nails -1

Having been going here for years absolutely love the people and environment. Ive tried multiple other places closer to home and have been dissatisfied every time. I would rather drive further for an amazing job.

Went in for the deluxe pedicure - loved the staff and they did a great job!

I could give 5 stars if they stop talking so much and concentrate on their work. I have been more than 2 hours in the place for a filling and pedicure and not because they take the time in me. It is because they talk a lot and for anything they get distracted and then they rush to finish quickly leaving a horrible job. Also, they want you to make an appointment just to keep you waiting while they work with other clients or disappear to go eat. I already tried 4 different specialists in star nail. They did a good job the first time, which makes you come back, but the next time the quality of the work decreased a lot. Although some clients say that star nails has good prices. It irritates me to pay $ 25 just to have my nails painted instead of a real, clean pedicure. I will not do my pedicure at star nail anymore.

Quick and great nails

Best place to go if you want the best nails

Ive been having my nails done here for about a year or so. Owner seems aimed to please and works hard, but too fast—nails not always to my liking. (I am kind of picky). I always make an appointment but many times have to wait; however, compensated for by discounts I would rather pay the normal price and not have to wait. A little noisy for me. As of late the T.V. is far too loud with programming that is offensive to me. Too much club talk—on owners birthday he asked who was going to give him a lap dance that is vulgar. Very nice people but I wont be going back. The owner does good business, they are quite busy but its not for me.

Went July 3 asked if they did DIP nails she said yeah .. AFTER THE TOP COAT she put my hands under the ULTRAVIOLET LIGHT Dip nailsdont use ULTRAVIOLET LIGHT...July 4 all the top coat of all my nail flaked off ... July 5 went back i showed her my nails she said no problem Ill fix painted the top coat and put my hands under the ULTRAVIOLET LIGHT for the LONGEST TIME my fingers were hurting so bad ... its been 4 days and they still hurt very bad .... I WAS CHARGED 45.00 ANYWHERE ELSE THEY CHARGE 40.00 ILL NEVER GO BACK ....ITS JUST A ASSEMBLY LINE TO THEM VERY POOR SERVICE
