Got in super quick for a full gel set and they look amazing

Well I go there for getting my feet done ever month...but now after how my girlfriend was just treated after getting her eyelashes done, she had going there for a long time and even got me going there, making an appointment should come first in my opinion,but I guess that doesnt go over well at this place... she even makes her appointments ever 3 weeks, and her last couple of appointments have been terrible and not on time, again whats the point of making a set appointment... And for the owners to have taken care of this issue with no regards is sad...Well needless to say you have lost our business and I will make sure that friends we have that have gone their will be thinking twice now and going somewhere else

First and last time I’ll come here. Not even 24 hours later, two of my nails chipped. This has never happened before anywhere else.

6 of us for my graduation made an appointment physically in person 2 weeks prior to the appointment with the gentlemen at the front desk. We show up 15 minutes early and they tell us we don’t have appointments and there are four people before us that just walked in! They proceeded to be rude and tell us to sign in like a walk in. We left and thank goodness found a salon down the road willing to take us. I would never suggest this place!

First time here, I was greeted and taken right away for a pedicure. Service was excellent! Very nice and professional employee. I will be back!

Took my friend here for a birthday pedicure and they charged me $70 for one pedicure!!!!! I will still get my nails done but I will no longer leave a tip after they overcharged!!! I was just here and got a fill and a pedicure for $70 3 days before!!!!

I have used this business a couple of times for my nails and pedicure. But this time went for color change on toes and a fill for the nails. The elderly lady did the color change on toes and when filing the toes hurt my toes also she did my fill and got home and the nails are already chipping. I noticed after she was all done with the polish she filed my tips of my fingers which made the nail polish chip and gave my finger nails rough edges. The last 2 times I’ve been there the others did not do that and the polish lasted longer. So I will probably find another nail salon. Not satisfied with this technician unfortunately she was not very good doing nails. I would rather have one of the younger people do my nails.sucks I may ask for someone else next time. Or go to a different business there are a lot of nail salons to choose

This was the first time Ive visited this place, i had an appointment so when I got there nobody acknowledged me when I walk in I explained I had an appointment the gentleman in front said write your name down on the sheet and have a seat. So I waited over 45 minutes past my appointment to get taken care of I was satisfied with the service until I got home showered after my shower three of my nails chipped and started peeling. I went back the next day at 10:00 as soon as they opened there was already people inside I explained my situation to the manager he said have a seat its going to be at least an hour he had an attitude there was people there with appointments that werent even being taken care of to wait after I would never come back and I would never recommend this place to nobody very unprofessional

I come here for pedicures and waxing. They do an amazing job! I always leave relaxed and well taken care of. They are very clean and sanitary also.

The first lady had an attitude because I wanted her to soak off my nails instead of ripping them from my nail bed. After she spoke about me and a different language I was put with Tim. My nails turned out great he actually did them exactly the way I wanted him to. he had no issues soaking them off and shaping is perfect along with length. Overall great experience make sure you get Tim.

I was very nervous going here because of all the negative reviews, and I am absolutely not easily impressed, but I came in with my daughter and my mother and my sister and all of of couldnt have been more pleased with the service, the cleanliness and the overall relaxing time that we had! We will absolutely be coming back as regulars! Thank you for doing such a great job. I needed a fill, my daughter needed a full set and my sister and mother got pedicures and we are all very very happy with everything.

I do not recommend!!! My nails never chip or break with gel. However, at this place my nails chipped and broke with 24 hours!!! Worst customer service ever mean and don’t want to do the job!!! I hate it never going there again!!!!

I was seated in a pedicure chair & had to wait 45 minutes before someone even acknowledged me. Then she didn’t even ask me what kind of pedicure I wanted and did just a basic one. I’ve gone here multiple times within the last 6 months and the prices never changed. Then when I went to check out, she charged me $105 for a basic pedicure with gel (normally $35) and dip power ($50). I don’t think im coming back to this place.

I waited an hour 1/2 they said 45 min, I got just a regular white pedicure and it’s all blotchy and not a good white nail polish im disappointed.. the massage part was the only good thing ab this place.

The technician all the way to the back not only confused skin for nail and make me bleed but I now have fungus on 8 of my 10 fingernails. Tim the owner was gracious (haha) enough to give me a refund however he refused to refund me the money I had to spend to have the diseased nails removed and also refused to refund me the money I had to spend for the anti fungal medication I am now forced to use. Spend extra and go somewhere else, youre worth it

I got done the dip powder ombre and the male owner rushed through the entire thing. The nails are bulky and not shaved down properly. Also have air bubbles in it. I would post picture but I dont know how. Im am extremely dissatisfied. 55 dollars for the worst nails Ive ever had.

I have been coming here with my mother and sister for over 8 years now. It’s the cheapest place around, but you really are getting what you pay for... in the worst way. Recently, I have had enough bad experiences that I will never go back. The staff went from welcoming and conversational to overworked and unpleasant. I got my nails done for a trip with the gel polish and it has been less than 1 week and the polish is chipping and peeling all over. This isn’t the first time my nails have chipped within a week AND before a trip! 😡 Recently, I have been trying out some new nail places, but somehow always found it in my heart to try Nail Design again. EVERY time I have returned, I was disappointed. After “shopping” around, I definitely noticed how dirty the nail equipment they use is and how poor their hygienic practices are. One family friend stopped coming here because their pedicure station gave her a horrible foot/toe nail fungus. She went to complain and the owner said that he will do her nails for free. HA! Like she would want him to touch her nails ever again. I’m honestly so disappointed that’s Tim allowed this to happened to his once wonderful salon. Either way — I won’t be back. 🤢🤮

Been going for years it’s a constant disappointment when I have to go back a few days later to get my nails fixed and waiting for hours to see someone this was my last day waited 1 hr 30mins nothing just got my full set last week lasted 3 days

I took my daughter and her friend to get acrylic nails and instead they did gel and powered dip without asking me if is ok. Girls didn’t even know what was done and we only found out when they charged us for service. When I called back to ask why I was quoted one price but charged the other they explained what kind of service was done. I said they supposed to ask me as a parent if is ok and the guy proceeded telling me about service they received avoiding to answer the question. Said he will refund me back only in cash $10 ( I paid with credit card) if I came back that day by 4 pm. I live in different town and couldn’t come back by 4 pm. Super disappointed and will never go back. I also did manicure while I was waiting and the very next day color was pealing.

Upon arriving they did not check my temperature but everyone that came in after me got theirs check. The woman who did my nails for not greet me at all. She cut my nails my nails down to the size she wanted them to be shyer k told her don’t cut them to low. I will NEVER return.

They did a nice job on my nails but rate a ZERO in customer service. I had 2 different gentlemen take care of me. Neither would talk to me, & honestly were rude. This was my 1st time having a mani/ pedi. & it wasnt a nice relaxing time at all. I didnt even know there were different pedicure packages because he never offered me that. When the guy who did my manicure wasnt busy not talking to me, he was busy constantly getting up to do other things. Nice job on my nails, but thats a lot of money to spend to be treated that rudely. I wouldnt go back there because of that

LOVE LOVE LOVE This Place. My favorite technician is Daniel, always does my nails to perfection! They are sanitary and efficient. They just remodeled which has added a great twist to the place. Both Daniel and his wife (I forgot her name, but there stations are next to each other) do such a great job. Ive been a loyal customer for the past 2 year. Only thing I would suggest to the business is using different tools for each client, just to add a extra touch of sanitary to the place. Otherwise, I have no other complaints about this place, they are just about perfect.

I loved it here! Compared to other salons Ive seen and been to, they are not bad. The owners and nail techs were absolutely the utmost kindest people Ive met in Milwaukee. Im from out of town and although they arent fluent in English, they understand and can converse well. I would highly recommend. I got a manicure and pedicure and it turned out great! The place is very fancy. It can get busy but the wait time doesnt take too long. if your in a rush plan to arrive earlier. All in all, I liked the place and people.

So I’ve had 2 pretty...interesting experiences. The first was last summer. I went there with my friend and her mom to get our nails done for a new look for the summer. We asked very clearly for gel extensions, and my girl spoke perfect English, but for some reason they didn’t “understand” what I wanted. While the gel was hardening I could feel a burning on my fingers, and I’m assuming it was because she got something on my hands while she was painting them. My second time was equally as disappointing. I got the extensions this time, but the thumbs were uneven. My left was longer and skinnier and my right was shorter and fatter. There were also a few nails that weren’t painted completely and I could only tell because I had a white polish. The next time I went to get my nails done I went somewhere else and it was honestly so refreshing to get my nails done the way I wanted. I would not recommend going here.

Wow. Im waiting twenty minutes for a fill when a woman comes running in, in a panic, because she needs her nails painted. They sit her down immediately and start working on her nails. It was like I wasnt even there. I honestly felt invisible. They didnt even blink when I walked out after crossing my name off the list! No one said a word to me! Then when I walked out, I see the woman that rushed in and got severed before me, was parked in the handicap spot right in front of the doors. A business that doesnt aknowledge is customers and lets people park in spots that are needed for the handicap is not a business I want ANYTHING to do with. Ive had family go here and get infections as well! Disgraceful!

I went in for a set of acrylics and its honestly the worst nail experience Ive ever had. I asked the guy doing my nails if he could do a matte burgundy, coffin shaped nail. He said they could do a matte top coat however, the finished product is not matte in the slightest. The tools are filthy, I never once saw anything put into sanitizer, files has already been used, etc. The guy burned a few of my fingers because he didnt let the tool they use to grind down the acrylics cool. He kept getting angry that my fingers were stiff but was yanking my arm across the table in a super awkward position. To make matters worse the owner sat next to him talking the entire appointment making it very uncomfortable for me. The end result is glossy, uneven, square shaped nails that are all different lengths. Will definitely not go back

I wish I knew the name of the young lady who did my nails today, I have been coming to the shop for Years ( love sandy) and today my nails just look exceptionally nice!! She also painted my daughters nails and was very gentle with her. Station #9 💜

My wife came here 4 days ago & loved the job Tina did. 1 day later her index finger broke.....never happened else where..... 3 days after that she is missing 2 more. She said she will NOT come back to this place ever again. Cost was $30 & she also gave her a $10 tip...& got this in return. They need to use stronger materials.Go somewhere else ladies. You will love the work done, but it will not last even a week.

Went here with a friend on Saturday morning for acrylic fills and I understand it’s busy they told us half and hour and we waited for over an hour. Once we were in the chairs the guy who did my nails was not friendly at all. There something wrong with one of my nails and I told him and he proceeded to get very upset with me and slam his hands on the table. My friend her nail tech kept getting up and leaving her to do other people’s nails and ended up not even finishing them. My friend had to wait for my guy to be done to go do her nails. Overall a very unpleasant experience and I get it when we first got there it was busy but it was more upsetting the way they treated us once we were in the chair. My nails also didn’t turn out that great because he rushed at the end of applying the gel to my nails.

Had my acrylic nails removed (I had also gotten them done there 3 weeks ago and was not happy with the outcome of them) and she filed down my skin under and around my nails. I wanted them painted afterwards but was told I was done and she moved on to the next customer by the time I was done washing my hands. I did not see her sanitize any of the equipment. I will never be returning.

There service is amazing! They pedicure was very nice and they were all happy to help. The place was very clean and they didnt want anything messy. Amazing!

Worst and most awkward thing happened today at Nail Design with my lash appointmentI went at 4pm when my appt was for, told me it would be another hour because of the client she was doing at the time. I called when I got home because I was not happy at all and talked to Tim the owner. He suggested I come back in 2 hours I expressed I didn’t want to come back later I already had stuff going on plus I left work early just to get to my 4pm appt on time. I went back an hour later at 5pm, paid and then she told me I had to find somewhere else to go. The only way I could stay with her getting my lashes done is if I came during the day. Needless to say I’ll never go back there again. I can’t believe Tim/Sandy conduct business that way especially since I have been a long time customer there. I will never go back there again!

Its really disgusting that they use the same tools and files on the every person they work on... So not sanitary, and the owner is ALWAYS in a bad mood, and if I take off my nails too soon, he ALWAYS makes a comment and makes me feel horrible, since I have anxiety I tend to pick around my nails, but to say something and to sit there and seem irritated the entire time is ridiculous. They dont do designs so I dont get why its called Nail Designs... I will never go here again as, sure they get you in fast, but their quality is horrible... All of my nails were different sizes and lengths... And there rough. I feel so bad about my nails that I have not went back and I dont plan on it. Go to Nail lacquer Lounge... They know how to treat you and do designs!!

Loved this place! I needed a quick manicure one day but only had time to go after 6pm. I called to make an appointment and got in for the time I wanted. Also, the lady who did my manicure was great! She took the time to get the polish down to my cuticle and touched up every little imperfection. My nails look awesome and have gotten so many compliments. Very thorough! I am going back for sure!

Love this salon. To the person who said they dont do designs,is reduciloius! I get awesome designs there. I started going here after my normal salon was too busy to fit me in. Ive been a loyal customer for years now. Ive sent many new clients there,we all love it there. The owner and wife are the nicest,friendliest people and so is entire crew. Recently expanded and remodeled. You have to try them,and if you had a bad experience as you claim Im sure if you had said something they would have resolved it right away.

I really enjoy going to Nail Design. They always do a great job. I will caution anyone who gets Ken to do thier nails. He is always on his phone and does a terrible job. I got a gel manicure and it started chipping after three days!! I had to go back twice to get nails repainted because after they chipped the whole color would peel off because he put it on too thick.

The worst nail experience I have ever experienced in my entire life! If you have a choice in choosing a nail salon DO NOT GO to this one! The staff was very rude and my tech was very unprofessional. He used slang and began to curse while explaining what my nails would look like, in a very, harsh rude way that I did not appreciate! When I asked him how long it would take to soak my shellac nails, he responded, in a very agitated tone, that he would let me know when it was done! When he proceeded to roughly attempt to remove my polish, I let him know that I would be leaving immediately. He began to yell and throw a fit! I suppose he wanted to further this inhumane treatment and I would not allow it to continue! It was a very disturbing experience and makes me wonder how I even lasted 5 minutes in that shop. Never again! No one deserves that kind of treatment! It was just plain awful, from start to finish! I am new to the area, but they are forever crossed off my list!

Horrible customer service. My nails used to last a long time and have only been getting worse. My entire french tip pedicure is off of my toes after not even 2 weeks and nothing they can do, just charge again! They said thank you as a reply to taking my business to Empress Nail Spa on Ryan Rd (which I hear from everyone that its a great place). Nothing to try and help the situation. I will never give Nail Design business again. Their quality has gone down hill and customer service definitely isnt as good as it used to be.

Tim and his wife are fantastic, but there is one nail tech i try to avoid because she misses your nail and hits your skin and laughs about it. Otherwise i have always had really good experiences here

This place was absolutely ghastly. The staff was extremely rude and didnt even both trying to speak English. The lady who did my nails (was getting tips put on) cut my skin in several places on both hands with the nail file and they got really infected. I could have put tips on myself and done a much better job left handed! (Im a righty)

Great my girlfriend went there to get her nails done for a vacation, and the gel lasted for 3 WEEKS! They do amazing job and my girlfriend is happy.

The worst service I have ever gotten at a nail salon. I went in for a shellec mani pedi. As she was doing my pedicure, she filed down my nails so much that they looked liked stubs. Plus, they weren’t even! My nails were slanted. Tried to ask her to re file them and she huffed and gave me an attitude. So I filed them myself. When I stepped over for my manicure, AGAIN, she cut all of my nails super short, filed them crooked and so I sat there and filed my own nails. She then proceeded to sit on her phone and complain as I was fixing my nails. Once I put my hands back in front of her, she tried to file the nails more! And when I asked her why, because i just did them, she got even more of an attitude! She threw her buffer block into the table and rolled her eyes. I told her I want to pay for my pedicure and leave. She argued with me for 5 minutes before letting me check out in front of a full salon of people. Will NEVER go there again.

I never really had to wait to be taken care of. The staff is friendly. They do nice manicures. Come in with your design and they can duplicate it. Once you try this place, you will keep comming back.

I went to get my toenails done with my mom. We waited for over and hour with our feet in the COLD pedicure water, my mom had to remind one of the technicians that I was sitting there because they kept taking in walk ins ahead of me. After waiting for two hours my actual service was rushed and unprofessional. Never going again.

I have gotten mani/pedis here in the past, with no issues. The owners are sweet people, I just wish the workers were too. My friend and I went last week for pedis. It is suppose to be relaxing and enjoyable. It was rushed and didnt feel good. They did not let our feet soak at all, and it was painful. She missed one side of my nails and blamed me and said it was my foot position. ?????? We will not be returning nor will my daughter whom had a similar experience. I will no longer recommend this place to anyone. Stop rushing people in and out like cattle!

One week later, my big toes are raw, cracked open very sore. Too painful to even wear shoes. In the past 20 years I have Gone to many different places for pedicures. This is the worst.

Owner is mean and rude, looks like he’s ready to kill someone for a dollar. They laugh at American people amongst themselves and they always mess up. Go elsewhere I highly recommend it.

I’m visiting from Houston,TX. I came to Nail Designs to get my nails refilled & a polish change for my toes. As soon as I walked in I was approached & asked what I wanted. The young girl just walked away from me. She didn’t say ok be with you in 10 mins, etc. So I went to sit down while she went to talk to a man who I later found out was the owner. They conversed for a while and then he came and asked to see my nails. He said he couldn’t do a refill on colored powder. He can only do dip powder. I said ok, I’m from out of town and I just need them done so do whatever you need to do. He says well I don’t know what to do, I can’t do anything for you. I said can you take my nails off and just do a fresh set. He said, well I don’t know, I guess. So I went to sit down. 5 minutes later he comes to me & says I will have to do your nails and it will be a 30-45 min wait. Meanwhile there was a lady he was finishing up on & no other ladies were doing nails. I said ok well can you at least start the process of taking my nails off while I wait. He ignored me, then began to talk in his language. He aggressively gets up then says ok fine, come sit here. Then he says you will still have to wait. I then just got up and walked out. It was very apparent that they didn’t want to do my nails. It made me very sad & it’s unfortunate the world we live in. I went to a nail salon across the street & the lady who also only does dip powder was so nice & able to figure something out for me. I believe I was racially profiled. But all in all it’s all good.

Ive been going there for a long time. In till recently I have been getting bad customer service, to the point the owner had to jump in and excuse his nail tech. I have never had someone treat me so low... twice! She acted like she had better things to do and carelessly filed my nails without looking and kept missing my finger nail on to my skin! I also noticed they use the same nail file and other things on everyone and They dont clean it cuz i watched them put it back in the drawer!! Gross!

It was the worst service and worst pedicure I ever received. The technician talked on the phone through a bluetooth connector the entire time, never asked me the type of pedicure I wanted, did a sloppy job, and gave no foot/leg massage at all. There are too many better options out there. I will never go back.

Both times Ive been to this salon its been amaizing everyone is so welcoming and their service is exceptional.

My manicure was extremely rushed and hang nails were left. The experience was so poor, I decided against leaving a tip. Will not be returning ever again.
