I have been an international students for more than a decade and have lived in many apartments. Wexford Townhomes has the nicest staff. In particular Nate, who is friendly, helpful, and always responds to us promptly. Even though we moved out in a rush, they accommodated us and returned us the security deport check with a very minimal charge, which highly appreciate!

I live here currently and I cannot wait for my lease to end. Just to name a couple of problems, the place came with dog hair, not only in clumps in the carpet, but also painted onto the walls. If that’s not bad enough, try sleeping next to a window that does not seal and literally howls at night. But wait, that’s all of the windows on the second floor! Forgot to mention that my girlfriend and I had to clean the entire place after we moved in, so I would like the cleaning ladies paycheck since I did her job for her. They painted over dents in the walls which looks pretty terrible. By the way, we have been waiting 2 months for new windows. They call these “luxury” townhomes, but they are very far from it, unless you consider having other people’s dog hair all over your house “luxury”, then you might like it. The people in the office seem fine, but that is pretty much it. This place is terrible and I definitely do not recommend it. (Unless you like paying for a $1500 dumpster fire. )

Very nice crew. They respond quickly to repair request. Just had outside facelift. Lots of space. Only negative is cabinets are out dated and old. Need more modern kitchen. Bathroom fixtures and bathroom itself old. Very spacious. Get more for buck if you can live with dated bathrooms and kitchens

Before moving in I toured the apartment I would be renting. I asked if it was going to be cleaned before I moved in? I was told it would.....it wasnt. Dirty floors and the whole kitchen just felt dirty. The master bathroom shower floor was for soft. I felt it was going to break through any minute. Previous tent let its dog pee on the wall at the bottom of the basement stairs.....took two months for them to repair properly. And then to top it all off the neighbor two doors down murdered his family and left them dead to rot in the apartment. Run away from this place dont walk!!!

I would NOT recommend this place. I’ve lived here less than one year and I am looking forward to my lease ending. This place is full of children that are always all over the place. Management is responsive in words only and NO ACTION!!! There are issues not being addressed such as bikes and scooters being left in unauthorized and common areas. Not only is this a safety hazard, this is a disturbance and inconvenience to the community and other residents. Bikes and scooters were left out all night resulting is us almost falling on the sidewalk as we were unable to see them in the dark. It is inconsiderate and also makes the community look unkept. I am hopeful that this community would hold residents to higher standard and/or enforce the consequences previously mentioned. We, as residents, pay way too much money every single month for this company not to be checking and enforcing basic rules. We are all expected to work together as that’s the only way to keep this community up. If we all fail to do our parts individually, this community will continue to quickly go downhill. My main concern with this community is that policies are being violated and are not being addressed accordingly. I’ve seen unauthorized pets in the community (specifically German Shepards & Pit Bulls) and now personal items being kept not only outside but in common areas. Many children are constantly playing in the parking lots, under the car ports and in between the cars of residents. These issues are very concerning. Whose going to pay for any damages caused to these vehicles? I’ve seen older children actually laying on and playing on other people’s cars. There are small children (left unattended) riding tricycles in the parking lot. What happens if these children are hit by a car? I hope that you all will consider how this affects other residents and your community and what you all may be held responsible for.

Hope this review helps those looking at this townhome for a place to live, either short term or long term. The foundation was poor. Whenever it rained, the basement would leak. Maintenance was friendly however with multiple calls and complaints about the leaks, it was patched up poorly. It took three patch jobs in order to help maintain the leaks gushing into our basement. This resulted in us needing to have a bucket in the corner of our basement for the rest of our stay to catch the water.Kitchen and appliances are outdated. Our dishwasher was broken multiple times, and instead of replacing the outdated and broken appliance they came and replaced a small part in the dish washer. Which, I understand if the issue was the small broken piece in the dishwasher, however it did not help the problem. This resulted in us using multiple washes per load.Walls are thin so if there is a family next to you, expect to hear running and stomping all day, especially if they have children. If your neighbor has a dog, expect to hear the dog barking very clearly because of the walls.Windows are also old and leak air. There are holes in the corner of the windows where they should be sealed up however are not. The fix for the holes in the corner of the windows was to put tape over the holes instead of properly sealing the windows. Circling back to my first complaint, because of the poor foundation, the windows on the top level were poorly installed which caused there to be an opening in the corners of the window as well. So expect a higher gas bill in the winter. All of this is unfortunate because the staff is friendly, but you can tell Singh only cares about making money and not about the residents. Would not recommend unless you have a lot of expendable income and that an overpriced apartment doesnt bother you. Great location is my positive on this place however dont expect to use the pool, ever.

Our basement leaked the entire duration of our stay here despite multiple calls to the office and shoty patch jobs to the foundation. If it rained for more than one hour the basement was garaunteed to leak water. Would not recommend this place to live.

I agree with the other review written about the Wexford Townhouses. The office staff was friendly, prompt with paperwork, and very helpful. We specifically worked with robin and she was wonderful! We also called maintenance the first day we arrived and they came within 10 minutes. Everything is clean and well taken care of!

Back in December, I was helping my friend to look for a place to live and we toured here. The club house was very nice and smelled amazing. It was beautifully decorated with Christmas décor and the fire place was blazing which added a nice homey feel. The leasing agent there was very friendly and extremely pleasant. While we sat down to go over pricing and the two bedroom floor plans, the leasing agent politely introduced us to the maintenance staff there whom just so happened to walk by. Allow me to apologize because I cant for the life of me remember everyones names, but the maintenance crew was also very nice and polite. My friend and I loved the fact that the maintenance supervisor there has been with the company for 30 years! My friend actually said that she knows that shell be in good hands living here! We then went to see the model unit which was a two bedroom with the finished basement floor plan. WE LOVED IT! Now if youre looking for something brand new and updated, this is definitely not the place for you. But, if the older look can work for you then this is just what you need. We loved everything from the layout to the floor plan. The only thing that bothered us a bit was the dated appliances. I give Wexford a 4 star because of that reason, and that reason only. If they could update all of the appliances, then this place couldve worked for my friend. She is still interested in leasing here but unfortunately, the two bedroom with finished basement is not available at the moment. If that floor plan opens up with all newer appliances, she would most definitely sign up! The staff at Wexford are simply amazing... the price of the townhomes are good... the layout is perfect... and the basement is a bonus.

When I first came in I toured over a year ago we toured with Robin, she was super friendly and helpful. My husband and I love the townhomes, it is a little pricey but for the space you get and the location its well worth it. We love being close to the mall, the elementary school, parks and the freeways. Everytime we come into the office office Robin is so nice and understanding she always makes time for us. I work in customer service and Ive been in the office when peoope ha e come in upset and I see her turn it right around and help them with whatever their issue was. Shes the best! And maintenance is pretty great too.

The property is nicely laid out. Lived there for 18 months. The washer, dryer and stove were ANCIENT. I am in my 50’s and the washing machine model that was in our apartment was new when I was about 17! Maintenance was reasonable, but the management usually used the cheapest tactics possible to repair appliances. If you are at a time in your life where you have grown accustomed to new appliances, THIS IS NOT THE PLACE FOR YOU!!Towards the end of our lease, the blower motor on our furnace failed. Maintenance replaced the motor with a used motor from another unit that sounded like it was about to shake the furnace apart. Look forward to at least an $80/month rent increase at the end of any of the leases. There is no visible grace period for the rent. It is due on the 1st. In reality you have until the 3rd of the month to pay it before you receive a $100 late charge. Most other places have at least a 5 day grace period. I am not sure if this is a violation of the Federal Debt Collection Practices Act, but for those who are late more than 7 days you will have a bright pink sheet of taped to the outside of your door for all to see.The residents are assigned 1 car port. These are across the parking lot from the curbside parking. Most of the time the resident’s park curbside not using their carports which leaves absolutely 0 parking spaces. You will be forced to park your vehicle in the guest parking area which can be a significant distance from your door. Our apartment had an infestation of pill bugs, box elder bugs, and house centipedes. We reported this to the manager and she contacted their contracted exterminator. The exterminator came in and sprayed the pesticide indiscriminately all throughout the room all over our stuff. The area just behind the carport towards Novi Road is very dangerous. There is netting that was put down to protect grass seed. Our neighbor’s child was running and tripped over the netting and hurt himself very badly. Expect to hear sirens EVERY 30 minutes on the dot around the clock being that you are not that far from the Novi Fire department.I have mixed feeling about Wexford Townhomes. After moving back to Michigan for work this place served its purpose, but this place clearly wants to make as much money as possible while investing little as possible. Upon the Maintenance Exit Inspection it was noted that everything was ok but the carpet was soiled. I didn’t think much of it until we received a $379 partial refund for our $850 deposit! Way go Singh management. Had I known this, I would have cleaned the carpet myself. I would not recommend Wexford to anyone. Singh Management wants to make as much off of you as possible!!Buyer beware!! If you are going to stay here I would not do more than one lease. It would be cheaper to pay a mortgage!!

Not worth the money at all. There is always trash on the ground because they dont really do ground pick ups. Snakes are all around the property due to a swamp being next to it. Raccoons are everywhere at night and even in the day.Heavily infested with spiders, ants and rollie bugs. Kids play in the carports so be ready for your car to get scratched up. Maintenance slow to respond. They have no permanent manager on site, she only there a few days out the week. Terrible for the price.
