Management is unresponsive. Two months after I sent in my notice to vacate they tried to renew my lease. After calling the office I had to pull up the date and time of the email thread for my notice to vacate for them to adjust this. I was also charged a full months rent for the week my lease was active in my last month. They never adjusted the amount after numerous emails and calls. Maintenance guy was cool though. Terrible management and overpriced housing, I would not recommend any one to move here.

I am disappointed with the management reaction to my request to repaint the ceiling in our living room after a leakage from the bathroom of the unit above us. I have requested it 3 times already for the last 1.5 months. Every time they promise to take care of it and nothing happened so far.We feel embarrassed every time we have someone over. It is emberassing for Central Park Estate to treat their tenants this way.

We like the apartment community very much. All rooms were well lighted. Very nice view with Maple tree. We liked both old and new management. They usually listen to your request. Price is little higher than others. Nearby areas are very good and in a very good school district. The clubhouse and swimming pool are awesome.

I’m very disappointed to know that my rent has increased from $1750 to $1830 per mo, for no reason, during a pandemic! We have a new management company who bought out the previous owner, and when it’s close to your lease renewal, they send you a letter (through the US mail) saying while they appreciate you as a tenant, be advised that your rent will increase and that you can renew or get out! This complex is definitely not like it use to be..the standard has gone way down and it looks like, after 10 yrs of living here, I may be force to find another place to live. It’s just not the same...although I love Novi and I really don’t want to move...I’m not about to kill myself working just to make rent! Even the offer to rent month to month is ridiculously high ($2130)...

Nice apartments and convenient location but horrible customer service. Leasing office staff are extremely unfriendly and disinterested (with the exception of Katie). Maintenance work orders take a minimum of 3 days to be attended to. The apartment was handed over to us without being cleaned properly and a number of maintenance issues.Update as of Nov 17: Received a prompt call from the property manager to gather more information and a commitment that she will personally come to the apartment with maintenance and ensure everything is fixed. She gave me one date and didnt show up. Then I had to call her and she gave me a second date. Guess what, she didnt show up on the second date too and as before no attempt from her side to contact us.Update as of March 2021: Very slow with snow removal. Crew comes more than 24hrs after snowfall when most residents have plowed their own way out. Inspite of communication from management, some residents choose to leave their vehicle parked on the streets which hinders the snow plow trucks and other residents have to deal with unplowed roads. Management does not seem to take action on these parked vehicles.We were told snow removal including clearing of walkways to your unit is included in the rent but most residents end up doing the clearing because the maintenance crew take more than a day to attend to it. Many times they attend to the units on Manhattan circle and dont have time to do the interior units. Through Jan and feb we complained multiple times to the leasing office and they acknowledge that we are not the first ones to complain and that they will let management know. Finally when I ask to speak to the property manager, she says it is the first time that she is receiving a complaint regarding snow removal.

A peaceful neighborhood.

Community is neat, clean and organized .... big clean balcony ...trees dont block the sunlight coming inside the house ....love that the windows can be opened.... its bright in each room.... feels good to do any work...love having personal closed garage and fireplace at home .....ppl in the community are friendly....staff is good ....they give quick service.... swimming pool is nice and clean .....

Its an apartment community with excellent facilities.Club house is a spacious nicely decorated two story building with a big swimming pool, in the back.Inside has a nice exercise room, with sauna and a hot tub.Upstairs has additional space for parties, kitchen, refrigerator, pool table, fireplaceVery very nice place.

This place is amazing. They boast wonderful spacious floor plans, incredible amenities. The staff both in the office and on the maintenance team are very friendly, knowledgeable, and more then willing to help with anything you need. I love this property and can not speak highly enough about it.

Clubhouse is gorgeous, well appointed, and accessible with an elevator available for convenience. Plenty of free parking, too. Located very near s major freeways.

I hope the manager can read this. You need to reduce the rent if the gate is going to stay open most of the time. Been here 2 years and its always broken. Why in the world am I paying to live in a gated community when the gate is always left open?? They collect so much damn rent from everybody living here Im surprised they cant afford to fix it after 2 years. The gate is often open after dark which doesnt keep out strangers, might as well not even have gates. The dark skin security guard who works in the tiny main entrance building always is leaning back in a chair with his feet up on the desk like a bum and always playing on his phone and does not even look up or care to see who comes into the neighborhood. The other security guard who drives the red Pontiac is very professional and he watches everyone who comes in the neighborhood which is what the other guy should be doing. FIX THE GATE OR REDUCE THE RENT, ITS BEEN BROKE FOR YEARS! Because clearly the value of this property decreases without a private entry so why dont they reduce rent! ALSO many residents park along the street even when they have an empty driveway to park in and its very veryyy annoying. Many residents ignore the 15mph speed limit because I cannot back out of my driveway without some crazy fast driving mom almost hitting me. The roads are curved and limits your sight distance because many cars are parked in the street. So annoying when I back out of my driveway and some crazy Chinese person comes at me 30 mph honking and not stopping for me to finish backing out. Really hate the other residents here most of them very stupid at driving.

I lived here from 2012-2014. I am not sure if Kelly is still there, but she is by far one of the worst people I have ever met. She was one of the leasing agents and office workers, and she thinks of herself as queen bee. It was extremely unfortunate for us that she moved in the unit under ours during our second year there. She would leave her poor german shepard for hours while he barked and barked, never picked up any of his poops right outside in the grass, and smoked right underneath our open window when it was cool enough to get some fresh air. No fresh air for us it seemed. On top of that she would get drunk on wine and hit her ceiling just to freak us out. She has some clinical issues. Stay away!And its a shame because everyone else in the office was fine, the maintenance guys were good, and the grounds were pleasant. Too bad she put a very bad taste in our mouths.

We love the Central Park Estates. There is no more friendly and accommodating place to live in all of Novi. Andrew in the front office is kind and courteous, flexible and willing to help. They other gal in the front office is more typical of these rental properties - a lil fake BUT, not so much that you should not take a serious look at this place. The maintenance staff are great too.

The new management is very bad, dishonest, rude and deceitful. They are not friendly or take care of issues as previous management did. They are very rude and only care about collecting rent. Increasingly more tenants are dissatisfied with new management. I strongly wont recommend to anybody. Its so sad to see a nice complex like this is going to hell. New management is also increasing price irrationally too.

Sign says they close at 5pm, I pulled in at 4:55pm, and I know they hate people like me, but I work during the days they are open and this was my first day I could make it there before 5pm. No one was inside and when I called the lady said everyone clocked out at 4:54pm. Usually not a big deal but for someone looking to lease an apartment or townhome I see this as a reason to take my business elsewhere. If they don’t care enough to stay until the time they actually close idk what else they won’t care about. To bad. I’m sure another complex will care enough to stay a few minutes after close to make a sale/lease.
