The grounds and outside in general are gorgeous! However I agree with previous reviews that the upkeep of the actual units themselves are terrible. Things are constantly falling apart, maintenance goes unanswered, and I have never needed to make so many maintenance calls as I did once moving here. Also can confirm a major bug problem! To make matters worst, it rarely gets below 78 degrees inside even with the ac continually running. They told me thats normal/what I should expect when its hot outside. I have never been more miserable living in a complex, please be cautious before you decide to move forward!

Nice friendly neighbors and beautiful greenery but maintenance suckssss!!! We moved in Last September, there has been a hole in the ceiling of my babies rooom from the roof leaking since October. There was water leaking in from the snow and created water spots on the wall, been like that since December. The latest call was because the dryer stopped working That was 2 days ago, didn’t even get a response to that call... supposed to be here another year but I doubt it :(

Do not move here, I moved in June 2020 and the experience has been horrible... I’ve had aAT LEAST 2-4 maintenance calls a month since I’ve moved, some revolved. Some are not! You are literally paying for everything to just fall apart.

We came home from a week out of town to find that our air conditioning was not working at all (this was late afternoon on a Saturday). Even though it was technically after-hours, someone came over immediately to assess the situation, and got it working. Unfortunately, the next day, the unit stopped functioning again -- and again, someone showed up right away to figure out the problem. He determined that we would need a new air conditioning unit -- and made sure that we had it installed the very next day. The new unit not only works wonderfully, but it is also more energy efficient -- so we are cooler, and we are saving money. We have three small children and a dog, so being without air conditioning in July is a big problem -- and we were very impressed and grateful that the maintenance team took such quick action to solve the problem as quickly as they did.

Horrible!!!! please stay away from this specially the leasing office and their horrible corporate policies. If you make a mistake of delaying the payment, thats it. You are done. Not only they charge you delayed payment amount of $75 which is fine but also make you personally go to their head quarters and pay by certified check only. They will block all your online payment options and do not accept payment on the property. Not only that, your online option will not be unblocked unless you plead and plead and plead. You still have to go through the torture of paying it personally at their main office. I strongly suggest stay away, with their policies and rudeness!

Worst experience ever.... Noisy (you can hear people next door are talking), less of management, and my car was scratched in the community and they were not willing to help.Update (04/19/2017): Thank you for calling me today, not for admitting your problem, but for telling me I should not give you one score here and exlaining why you are not providing help. OK, now I changed score to 2, if this can make you and your boss happy

I personally had a terrible experience and my intention from writing this review is solely to provide potential future residents with valuable information and insight before signing the lease! If you are considering to rent at this property, I strongly advise you to read the following:My wife and I filled out an application which was approved in April for a predetermined move-in date of June 15th. However, we received a call from Debbie less than 1 month before the move-in date that the current resident would like to extend his lease and the apartment would not be available until July 15th! This was very frustrating as I was moving from the East Coast and did not have time to travel to Michigan again and look for apartments. The property manager (called CJ I believe) provided us with the option of staying in their guest house in the interim and pay $1929 per month (equal to the original rent!) with no compensation for storage of our stuff, the extra move from the guest house to the actual apartment or the inconvenience. We decided to withdraw our application and find another place to rent. Please note the following before signing the lease:Singh Apartments has one intention only and that is making the most money even if it means renting one apartment to two people at the same time (i.e. you and the current resident!). If you are wondering why there are few available apartments in the property at any given time, this is why! In other words, they advertise the apartment and lease them while the current residents still have the option to extend their lease. As you can imagine, this would result in an overlap of lease, however, this is their policy to reduce the amount of time that the units are unoccupied. I noticed later that it is also stated in the lease that your move date is tentative and they accept no responsibility if it is delayed for any reason. I strongly recommend either staying away from this property or if you really like it, asking them to provide you with a statement in writing that your move-in date is definite and not tentative and make sure that your move-in date would not be delayed before you sign the lease.

Starting rate for a 4bd is $1799 a month plus you pay for all utilities (water, trash, electric, gas, etc) and the fourth bedroom is really just a small office. The outside is beautiful. The community- gorgeous and the walkability is great however the actually units themselves leave a lot to be desired. When I initially inquired about the apartments, I was shown a 2bd model which was really nice because there were no 4bd units to show so the first time I saw where I was actually living was right AFTER I signed my lease. I wanted to cry. The materials used inside the units are cheap. Cheap drywall, cheap stair railings, cheap carpet that isnt properly laid so it lifts at the edges and walls - cheap appliances. The inside of my fridge and stove were spotless but the outside of the fridge is stained and two of the burners on the stove didnt work upon move in.Our windows wouldnt open/close properly and our master bedroom screens needed to be replaced. There was a major bug issue upon move in as well. These issues have all been addressed and the apartment was bombed for bugs. To that point, I will add that the office has been incredibly responsive and courteous to the issues. However, I have had to have the same shelf fixed three times because it has yet to be actually fixed. When paying $1800 for an apartment/townhome, in a luxury community, I expect to get my moneys worth. So far, I feel Im not.I have lived here 8 months and am in contact with the office almost weekly. Here is a list of major ongoing issues:A pipe in my bathroom burst flooding two floors of my apartment. There is a rodent living in my ceiling and has been for months. They are unable to figure it out and get rid of it.My stove continues to not work and now its quite the fire hazard. The burners spark and flame, it makes weird electrical noises and the front burner will only turn on high.I send the office videos all the time of the noises from the rodent or of my stove nearly catching fire and still nothing is done.
