Very nice place for living...

I stayed at the Brownstones for approximately 6 years and really enjoyed my time here. Our apartment was quite, in a great neighborhood with great schools and very centrally located to highways, stores and mall. The staff here is great and always promptly responded to any type of service call. The apartments are roomy, some floor plans with high cathedral ceilings, which are very nice. Overall, this was a great experience for our family! My only recommendation to management is to think about updating/upgrading the bathrooms and kitchens a little. Other than that, no complaints!

I usually don’t like to give bad reviews, but this time it is necessary, so potential residents know what they are dealing with. Please review carefully your leasing agreement because they will take advantage of any little detail on it to take your money.

Living at The Brownstones wasnt all bad. The maintenance crew was attentive and always there in a timely fashion. However the rent that they wanted to charge was shameful. I started out paying somewhere near $1,000 monthly. The last straw was when they wanted to charge me $1,332 for my small cheaply built apartment. I lived in a 2/2 for 5 years and had 3 different residents live over me. Each one got worse and seemed to stomp across the floors! After this, i refuse to live in a first floor apartment. Each night I could hear my neighbor snoring while he slept. These apartments were built with very cheap materials. Certainly not worth $1332!

I am a contractor and have done some repairs at the Brownstones and found them to be very nice! They appear to be well constructed

I lived here for two years in a lower, two-bedroom unit. Overall, the experience was okay - not terrible, and not wonderful.The quality of the unit is not worth the rent payment, in my opinion. The grounds were well-kept and looked nice, but you can tell that Singh Management does not invest a lot in the construction of units - cheap materials for cabinets, counters, etc. The appliances that were in the unit when I moved in were quite dated.The biggest annoyance is noise. There is virtually no sound absorption between units (above or adjacent) - its pretty terrible, actually. I could very easily hear a phone ring and people talking in the unit adjacent to mine. There was one occasion where I actually heard (quite distinctly) people having sex one night in the unit above mine. There were other nights where I could hear someone in an adjacent unit singing, and it sounded like she was doing it in my living room while I was in my bedroom with the door closed. On top of that, Brownstones does not seem to enforce much of a noise violation policy. I had notified them of loud music from an adjacent unit, and children running around and throwing things on the floor in the unit above mine at 10pm. This happened on multiple occasions, but they dont seem to enforce anything unless two separate units make the same complaint.On the positive side, the maintenance crew were always prompt with repairs and were very friendly. The staff at the leasing office were always friendly as well and addressed any questions/concerns I had.I am sure you can find a better value elsewhere, but if you do decide to live here, its not terrible if you can live with noise issues. Oh, and if you need a second garage door opener, just buy one yourself. They charge a $50 fee (non-refundable) if you ask them for one, which is ridiculous.

The young lady I met with in the leasing office was super sweet. The properties are set up very odd.

Ive lived here for 2 years and still loving it. Office staff is always friendly and helpful, and maintenance crew is always there within a reasonable time of submitting work requests.

DO NOT MOVE HEREthe grounds are terribly kept, the exterior of the buildings are falling apart... the interior isnt much better, from falling bathroom mirrors, to closet doors constantly off the tracks, leaky windows the list goes on. It took them 6 days to fix our washing machine...... 6 DAYS. The staff is incompetent at best and down right rude at worst. I called the emergency maintenance line about the washing machine on day 5 and was told i dont have time for this sir seriously. overpriced and not worth it...

The management team on site is nice. However, this place is very run down. They need a lot of major updates to the infrastructure of this community.There are numerous water issues, poorly designed windows, thin walls (you can hear everything from your neighbors), lack of parking. Overall, its overpriced and not worth what you get. I have lived here for two years and have nothing but problems from the beginning. The reviews here are spot on, I wish I would have read them before moving here.

Vety nice community and great staff

Renter beware! This place is horrible. Grounds maintenance is horrible, lived at an end unit and the yard was always filled with rocks and garbage. Front porch was completely falling apart. Basement flooded and lower room had musty odor. Maintance was horrible and would try and fix stuff before replacing. And of course when I moved out they tried to nickle and dime me from my security deposit. The site manager, Emily is not easy to work with very rude.

Very nice place. Everything we need is within a few minutes drive. Quiet and safe place. Only waste removal is problematic. Each apartment has a rubbish bin, which is removed once a week. Other than that, I would rank this place as one of the most comfortable and safest threads. Maybe a little more green space has sold out here because it’s pretty drafty between the buildings. But all this is offset by free use of the pool and fitness
