I don’t know what I got my self into I don’t know what’s going on here but I pray that god help conquer being in this places I call home for awhole yearidk what to say but I don’t like problems I stay to myself because of this.Same with my kids we just want peace in friendly environment..But may the good lord strength me threw all this

So far the application process and the hospitality of the office manager has been a great experience, its nice and clean, if there is any concern or issue she will get it handled immediately!

Kinesha is a very helpful and polite property manager. She is very understanding and willing to work with her tenants on property

If you plan to move here, then dont do it, it is full of cockroaches and there is no solution because the facilities are old and when they spray it only lasts for a week and then again the cockroaches return, also there is always noise and if you have neighbors who smoke your apartment will be full of bad smell, and they do not return your deposit so say goodbye to her I still waiting, terrible place to live

GREAT apartments i would totally recommend this place.its clean, and neat.The office manager was so helpful and very kind to me during the application process and explained everything very well. I am very thankful for this company.

My mother has lived here for seven years and had nothing but problems they do not handle things well at these apartment they let the kids run wild with no repercussions my mom has been surrounded by a bunch of fifteen-year-olds before trying to intimidate her staff never did anything about it.

Im coming up on being here a year now, the management when I first moved in didnt seem to care about their residents or even the property. Now, we have Brianna as the property manager and she is amazing. She has helped me with any issues Ive had come up. Shes always super kind and very professional, she really cares about the residents and property! Since she took over, I have enjoyed living here much more than when I first moved in. I havent had to have much maintenance done, but Robert is always fast and reliable when I do have problem, big or small. All in all, Im glad these two are here, theyre the best.

Ive lived here 6 yrs and Brianna and Robert are the best weve ever had. Everything is clean and kept up. Work orders are handled immediately and any problems are immediately addressed. Very satisfied..

Today I took a tour with Brianna. She was so sweet and helpful. She made me feel so welcome. I’m looking for a place for my grandmother and after meeting the staff and seeing all that property offers I think I found the perfect fit

Very nice complex. I recently was approved for a 1 bedroom and will be moving in the end of this month. Melissa was nothing less than superb. She was so friendly, genuine and professional, it was so refreshing seeing her smile and greeting as soon as I’ve walked through the door. She walked me through every step and made me feel comfortable. I had been shopping for apartments for weeks, Ive seen newer and more upgraded apartments however nothing was near my experience at Garland. I already feel at home. I suffer from PTSD & I told Melissa I’m going to call her everyday until I move in (and I have). And she’s been just as helpful and sweet as the first time. I will be referring friends here hands down. Melissa if you so happen to read this, thank you. You really don’t know how much you’ve effected my life in such a short time. Upon leaving I cried my eyes out, I finally found a place where I don’t want to leave.

I Moved In About Two Months Ago & The Manager Brianna Is Both, Reliable & Nice . The Complex Is Clean & Quiet For The Most Part .

We moved into these apartments in January 2018 and it has went downhill since then changed ownership 3-4 months ago and still hasn’t gotten any better your apartment smells like weed or smoke from cigarettes even if you don’t smoke and management won’t do anything about nothing gets fixed the grounds is always dirty and furniture sitting outside the dumpster and breezeways the office is closed more than its open and the rent depends on who you talk to there’s 3 different prices that i know of just in the building I’m in same floor plan etc the tenants doesn’t pick up after their dogs so there’s poop everywhere you can walk around the complex all hours of the day and night and smell weed and you can have as many people you want living in your apartment even if your on housing and not supposed to they don’t care what goes on around here every month they tell me I have late rent or late fee and I have to get my receipts out and show them I paid on time and no late fee it’s ridiculous I have muscle loss in my hands and legs asked to be moved downstairs per my dr was told I could but my rent will go from$770 to $925 no up grades or anything and sign a new 1 year lease they’re not worth the $770 much less $925 they need to be remodeled inside and out and get rid of some of the tenants to get what they want unless they get more people in here that does drugs and don’t care what goes on them they might get $925 I don’t recommend them at this time

Redoing lease. Ownership has changed hands, so do not have much to say. Current leasing agent is very pleasant and shows she wants to help. Being a veteran who is disabled, I like the quietness offered. So far, I am pleased and hope that I will be able to stay here.

Nothing but noise and disrespect from other tenants. Owners/management says they cant do anything unless its after 10pm, thats when their security starts. Security shows up after an hour, or more, yellow lights flashing on their trucks. The noise stops (of course).They leave.They rent to ex-cons who assault and vandalize your property.I lived here for two years and had to move for fear of something happening to me and my children. It happened to my neighbor, I had to go.Apartments are rundown, dirty. The security lights outside dont work, they wont change the bulbs. No street lights. Tried to get my kitchen light fixed, still not fixed, 3 months later.STAY AWAY FOR FEAR OF YOUR HEALTH, SAFETY, AND WELL-BEING!!!

Very quiet! I like that they have an playground for the kids. I also like that they have a pool. Adreanna showed me an 2bed the master closed is huge! The apartment is in nice condition. I am submitting my application as we speak.

I am just came to visit Garland square and I can honestly say I love it! Adreanna is very sweet and outgoing! She answered all my questions I could possibly think of! I am ready to move in! I love that its a pool on property

New management came a little over a month, and you can already see the improvement, cleanliness and care for the residents and property. I was originally hesistant on renewing my lease, but now I will for sure sign another years lease. Very happy and pleased now.

Worst place EVER!!! The only good tenants break their lease and move before time is up. Stay far away from this place. I mean you can see ghetto from Rock Creek or Porter. Any place this gross should be off everyones radar. It is, even section 8s, mostly section 8 tenants, and the Norman Housing Authority doesnt care, I guess if you are eligible youre supposed to shut up and get what you can.Disgusting. Trash everywhere. Dark at night. Loud. Diapers in the parking lots, and in front of peoples doors. What kind of place lets that happen. Slums. Yep. They let that happen.

Love the new office staff and new management! They have some awesome changes and things are definitely moving in a great direction!

Good experience at Garland square! I am excited that they helped me find a home. Adreanna was very helpful. She walked me through all questions had. This is my 1st time getting the apartment and I am excited to get moved in.

I have lived at Garland Square Apartments in Norman for a year. The new owners have done a lot of improvement on the grounds starting with the play areas for the kids, New roofing on the buildings and are already working on the pool.I set my plants outside during spring and summer and last year I was visited by humming birds.Nice place to live.I regret that I have to edit my review. It seems that all the exterior improvement the new management have done is to entice new residents. Problems existing residents have are not being addressed.Melisa closes the office early frequently and her and Carlthon (one of only two maintenance people) both leave.I reported a major leak yesterday and asked Melisa to take a minute to look at it. She said she couldnt because she had people coming to look at an apartment and needed to be in the office. She sent Robert to take pictures, closed the office and left.

Garland Square apartments is a great place to look for your first home.. The realitors Blake and Cassandra and very respectful and helped me and my husband out alot. I give them 5 stars they have great positive attitudes and will any questions that you may have. . I am very excited we chose Garden Square to be our home. 😁😁

Grounds were always a mess, maintenance calls were made but they never came to our unit to fix any problems we called about. They had old broken blinds that were scratched up from the previous owners CATS still on the living room sliding door and they didn’t slide or work at all. (Screen on door was also scratched to pieces by previous owner cats) Took 11 months to actually get new blinds after requested when we first moved in. Office staff is snobby and rude. Not to mention the complex constantly falling apart. From the stairs, to the ceiling dropping, to the pool constantly being closed for whatever reason. Then the apartments were bought by a new company and the rent was raised last minute at the end of the month, active the following month. Awful apartments. Would not recommend to anyone.

AdreAnna is very helpful and polite. I love this black there there is a swimming pool and a playground for the kids definitely looks like a great place to live.

The acceleration of thefts and vandalism, along with the drama between residences and management is getting out of hand here at Garland Square Apartments.

New owners and changing management makes for a lot of drama.
