I currently am a resident here and it has been a living nightmare. When I first moved in back in October you can tell someone had just been living there about two days prior. Fresh paint quickly applied and covering magnets on cabinets so they do not stay closed. Hair painted into the walls from previous tenant. Previous tenants hair embedded into bedroom carpet. Front door would not latch due to strikeplate not correctly placed(this was not fixed for about two months). If temperature is above 80° outside, a/c will not go below 76°(this has yet to be fixed, placed about a month ago) office is currently closed and not open to the public and office is rejecting calls. No on site maintenance as the last maintenance worker was fired with no replacement. Laundry room is not reliable as I currently have had my clothes locked in there for the past two days due to the keypad having no battery. If you are prospective for an apartment dont fall for this place.
These apartments are disgusting and look nothing like the pics. My son lives here and when I came to visit, I was shocked by the lack of repair. His shower doesnt work, his front door didnt lock, the A/C wont cool, and kitchen drawer wont open because the fridge blocks it. The laundry room keypad died and he cant get his clothes out of the room. They have no maintenance man and wont get someone to fix anything. They dont answer the phone and dont return calls. Dont move here!!
Absolutely no maintenance right now. They wont open their office or answer calls/emails. No working laundry facility, my apartment does not have properly working AC, and there was long human hair EVERYWHERE in the unit when I moved in. Things have been broken for weeks and they wont send anyone to fix it. My car was broken into recently too. Dont live here!! Its a disaster.
I have lived here for 6 months and I have had no major issues. The unit I live in is well maintained. When we had an issue, they fixed it within a day. The management team is amazing 🙌 . The staff that we have met are nice and helpful. The grounds are well kept and clean. The laundry facility is well maintained and reasonably priced ($1.00 to wash and $1.25 to dry). The neighbors are quiet during quiet hours and we have had minimal issues with neighbors guests. I highly recommend renting from Radius Apartments!
The apartments are not ready when you move in. Looks as though they did zero cleaning or maintenance on the place. Almost like a tenant moved out just days before you moved in. Also the front doors do not seem secure at all as the holes are too large for the deadbolt. Not recommended.Edit: 2 stars only for Gena who seems to try her hardest to help.
You will absolutely NOT be moving into a unit that looks anything like the model. Your carpet and appliances will be old. You will likely have ongoing maintenance issues from Day 1. Ours included appliance issues and roof issues. After less than 2 months in our unit, the ceiling in the living room collapsed. 40 days later, there is still a hole in the ceiling and water still coming in. We asked to switch units at this point and asked the complex to cover our costs of moving. We were told we could switch units but no, they would not cover our moving costs. Easily less than $400. We have gotten another promise that the issues will be fixed by the end of this week, though.Since moving in 3 months ago, we still have a white reside inside more than 1/3 of our windows. Our doorbell still does not work. And three requests later, I’m still waiting on drip pans for the stove and a filter for our vent fan.Our dishwasher broke completely, the timer stopped progressing and that took 6 weeks to resolve. They have a battery operated lock on the door to the laundry room. I travel for work. TWICE the battery has died the day before I flew out, and it was impossible to get ahold of anyone. Everyone with laundry in just has to wait until someone comes to unlock the door manually. It isn’t hard to replace these batteries before they die to ensure this doesn’t happen.
The apartment that I was given is nothing like the apartment that they show you l. When I moved in the apartment was filthy and still had things from the people who lived in it beforehand. The master bedroom smells like cat urine instead of replacing the carpet and padding they kept using some kind of enzyme treatment on it which did not work after about the fourth time I gave up on it because they wanted me to wait a week before they would attempt to treat it again so for the first month I was unable to put anything in my room. There are cockroaches which despite them attempting to treat it once will not go away. On the plus side the people in the office are generally pretty friendly and helpful.
If they’re was an option to leave to zero stars I would! WORST PLACE EVER
Ive only lived here for almost a month now. I am very impressed with maintenance and how quickly they respond to issues. My sink was clogged and I put a work order in at 6p one night. The next day they came and fixed it and it was done before I got off work and home by 7p.I also love theyre online system and way to pay rent online. It is very easy and helpful and makes things simple and quick for a student who works full time.I also leased fully online before viewing and was pleasantly surprised at how clean and refreshing the apartment was. No bugs AT ALL.. and theyre system for pest control is awesome. Very pleased.
Absolute insanity not being able to use a shower for multiple weeks.
I have lived here for 5 months and I rent the two bedroom 1 bathroom that is the upgraded version. I recommend to have it upgraded for the little bit extra per month because it is all white, new countertops, floor, lights, etc. The management is amazing and they are always quick to act. Outside, it looks old in which it is and that is off-putting to a lot but it really is quiet and very clean. They always keep the lawn mowed and the trash picked up. I cannot hear my neighbors ever unless it is dead quiet and someone sneezes via a megaphone, etc. This place is great!
Love Love Love all the improvements they have made to the apartment community! The new management team is amazing and so helpful!
Gena has been a great help
If youre looking for a place thats very clean and affordable, this is your place!! Close to campus and just about any place you wanna eat. Onsite laundry is a plus too. The office staff is very personable, and knowledgeable, with a maintenance staff like no other!!Definitely would recommend to anyone!!
Great apartments with a good community. Staff is friendly, neighbors arent sketchy and they keep up really well on maintenance thanks to their maintenance man, Louis. Love having Cox Internet and the apartments are wired with speed boost. Great place to live and not far from campus.
Welcome to the dark ages. No washer dryers or hookups inside the apartments.
This company employs people who engage in deceptive and bullying business tactics. One of their employees, Michelle Han/Lawson, came to my store in an attempt to hang a flier for their apartments in my window. I’m not allowed by law to do so, and declined her offer. She threatened to leave a negative google review if I didn’t comply with her request. I tried to explain that I am not allowed to hang fliers of that nature from my window, but she would not listen. Later that day, I received a negative google review on my business from Michelle Han/Lawson. Do not give your business to people who employ tactics such as this to harm small business owners.
I have witnessed some very concerning behavior on behalf of this company’s employee. Michelle H., who is employed by Sooner Crossing, came to a friend’s liquor store demanding to post advertising for the apartment complex. When her request to post the advertisement was denied, she proceeded to leave a negative review of my friend’s business as if she had been a patron of the store.I certainly hope this company isn’t condoning this “let me post advertisements for free or I will smear your company” approach because that is highly unethical and borderline illegal.
I lived here as a grad student while at OU. As a young woman, living alone can be a little stressful, but I have never felt unsafe. Theres a lot going for this place. The management is all very friendly and quick to respond to problems, theres a Smart Saver across the street (dont knock it; the store is great when you live on a student budget), and theres a lot of choice for food within walking distance if you want to eat out (Tatsumaki Ramen shop, Chicken Express, Sonic, Shiva Indian Cuisine, and Taco Bell, to name a few). Theres also a CVS less than a block away on Lindsey and 12th and a park up the street. Further along Lindsey, there is also a splash pad for the kids. The transit in the area is just fine, despite what the Transit Score says. Relatively speaking, this complex has it pretty good. Ive lived in OK for 7 years now, 6 of those without a car. Its tricky, but doable. The Lindsey East bus stops right outside the complex once every half hour, and its usually on time! The complex is also a 10-15 minute bike ride from campus. Seriously, why pay a ridiculous amount for an OU parking pass and the hassle of trying to find a parking spot when taking the bus or riding a bike will be much faster??When I moved in 2 years ago, there was a student rate, so if youre a student, definitely ask about that! There is a lot of diversity in the residents of the complex, though most are either students or families with small children. I have never had any issues with neighbors, but everyones experience is different. Its always a bit of a gamble when apartment hunting.
Ms. Hahn came into my work and have us a bad review because she couldnt hang a flyer up. There is no reason for that. Back at you dear.
One thing that I learned fro here: never trust the front desk because she would not admit anything that she said to customers.
