These apartments are terrible. Communication from management needs to improve drastically. They have good reviews from people that they gave starbucks coupons to. Maintenance is terrible. I had to fix my own toilet and sink because it took them a month to come to my apartment after the work order was sent. They have a roach problem. They dont even have lights installed in the rooms. The prices are low for a reason so if you thinking about moving into these dont even waste your time.

We’ve been staying here for 2 years now, and I’m relocating to find something more in my budget and to also be closer to family.I absolutely love it here. The maintenance is quick on issues. The only time I had to wait more than a day for maintenance to come was at the beginning of covid and it was a minor issue, just needed a lightbulb to be fixed that I didn’t have the bulb for.I never had to worry about bugs here because they do scheduled pest control visits in all units, even if there’s no bugs in the units. Not to mention the very kind and understanding management who worked with me throughout covid. I was more than thankful for their compassion and understanding. Paula is amazing. It’s also a very beautiful complex, with lawn care happening frequently throughout the week and gorgeous flowers planted near the office.I would recommend these apartments to anyone looking for a place in Norman.

I lived here for just under 4 years, Worst apartment I have ever lived at, Car constantly broken into even though one of the amenities they have is a security guard, They charge a large amount for how little space you get. Impossible keeping the apartment cool during multiple summers with how poor the insolation is. The on site laundry mat is asinine $2 for a wash cycle and $2 for a dry cycle. Homeless people constantly walking about coming out or into the creek behind the unit buildings. Bottom line for $800 a month you can get a bunch more from most other apartments or even a decent 2 or 3 bedroom house and I recommend you do so.

Twin creek village apartments has been the place we called home since last year. We recently moved into a house, but as far as apartments are concerned, the management team here is 5 stars simply because of their thorough background vetting of the residents that live there. I didn’t have to worry about anything happening to my children playing at the park or riding their bikes through the neighborhood. The property is clean, our vehicles were never messed with, and I can’t say enough about the computer room, workout room AND the fabulous coffee bar! This was by far the best apartment complex I have lived in. The inside of the apartment was spacious, and upgraded appliances, floors, just all around a really beautiful apartment that fit right in a single moms budget. Out of the entirety of Norman I would choose this property over any of the others. You just can’t beat the price and the serenity surrounding Twin Creek Village apartments.

Listen, I love living here, the cost is great, closets are big, and rent is perfect for two broke college students BUTI FEEL LIKE THEY MOW EVERY SINGLE DAY. Why? This is what I have to ask myself every time I hear that lawnmower roaring to life every monday, tuesday, wednesday, thursday, friday. Dont get me wrong, the grounds are nice and I would sure hope they were with how often it gets upkept.Overall, great apartment complex, but Im hearing weed whackers in my dreams.

Kat is an amazing property manager and the assistant manager Brittany, is just as if not equally helpful.Anything that needs to be done is done in a ample amount of time, they give you notice when they are going into your apartment.I really like the texts for property to let everyone know what’s taking place.Reasonably priced and the property is very, very well kept.I love the fact that they are very pet friendly and there is also the dog park. And I use the covered parking at all times. Helps with the rain for now and I’m sure it will help when it ices up.Also can’t beat the pool area with grills as well.Very nice place and will recommend anyone to live here.

Been here for 3 years now and this place is definitely a great place to live and management is amazing! Brittnie and Paula are great, couldn’t ask for a better team to deal with . The grounds are well kept and make the place look inviting . The only thing I could see that would make this place a little better is a snack machine and change machine in the laundry room and free monsters to residents lol. But overall this place has been very enjoyable to live at .

I love it here! Ive been living here for about 7 months and the staff is great. Maintenance is quick and friendly. Had an issue with my shower and it was fixed before i got back home from work. The landscaping is so beautiful and you see them out working on it at least once a week if not more. They are always updating things and had just installed an awesome grill and picnic area next to my building! And the pool is ALWAYS clean!

I just moved in and the staff has been more than helpful, my apartment was very clean for the most part. The rates are great, I love the walk-in closets and large guest bathroom. Where I am it is very quiet and peaceful, and they are going to assign residents parking numbers so that people who dont live there cant take up all the covered parking. The lobby and the pool are very clean and beautiful; compared to some more expensive apartment complexes around here this one is so much better! Its also a kid-friendly environment, which is awesome.

Absolutely disgusted with the way management deals with affairs. I am having to get a lawyer to defend myself from being charged for doors that were failed to be replaced after 2 months of no doors. My neighbors have placed 4 work orders for a simple sink valve replacement. I had a documented work order to get my doors replaced and they said the job was completed because of an employee that previously quit told them he completed it. The management assures they are doing everything to work with us, and then turn a bill in on our door, while we were home AFTER management assured us that they will not charge us for the doors improper engineering. I have never had any issue with landlords, late rent, or any other disputes until I moved to Twin Creek Village Norman. Horrible management, and even worse customer service. I was also electrocuted by the apartment complex and nothing was done beside replacing the outermost plastic of the outlet. They did not check the wiring, or even hire a qualified electrician to check out the socket. The broken doors also showed drywall and other parts of inside the building due to broken thresholds, which I explained to them that mold is dangerous especially to our neighbors below who have an infant. They seemed unresponsive to the 5 page letter that I sent them other than the response saying that if there is mold, we can opt out of our lease at no fee. They are trying to get rid of us instead of fixing the problems that are not at the fault of any residents in the building. Until this complex is under new management I do not suggest leasing with Carlsbad equal housing, or Twin creek village apartments.

Cat at this apartment complex disregards legal proceedings and has no regard for anything or anyone. The law requires that apartments post a notice 48 hours prior to changing locks. My daughter got no such 48 hour posting. We were staying with her and the apartments changed the locks, with all of our property, medications, and medically necessary Emotional Support Animals. Cat sent a message on May 9 that we could pick up the animals, but then refused to give them to us when we showed up. She is going to keep them for 30 days, then have them killed. She did give us our dogs, but when we got them it was obvious that they had no access to food or water. My cats and rabbit that she still has possession of will most likely die soon if she does not give them back, but she stated she did not care. Hopefully no one will ever move into these apartments and have to deal with them. I will be filing a lawsuit against them on Monday.

Lived there for a year. The apartment is small. The walls are thin. Neighbors had more traffic then Norman on game day. Having kids, I couldnt wait to get away. Got charged a pretty hefty $500 non refundable pet deposit for a 10 lb dog. I was told it was to replace any damage done by the dog plus to shampoo carpets. Also got charged a $200 deposit, which after I moved out and left a spotless apartment was charged a carpet cleaning fee from my deposit...which took 3 months and several persistent phone calls to even get. Maintenance was great, fixed anything that needed it and pretty quick. That was about the only plus. The health department came and completely shut the pool down for the last half of summer. Never said why. They charge you a water bill, which keep in mind, is the total water used by the entire complex divided by units. Soooo...even if youre rarely home and dont have a washer in your unit be prepared to have a $60 water bill. The complex likes to water their lawns excessively, which means youre paying for it. I was in a bind after selling my house and needed an immediate place and I feel like they sensed that and took advantage. I remembered real quick why its been over a decade since I lived in an apartment...

Horrible management and they steal from you. If you apply and are denied make sure you put a stop payment on that deposit check or make sure you go back and get it from them. Dont trust that they wont go ahead and send it through your bank. We applied for an apartment on 11/17/2017 and because we didnt tell them about 2 evictions from 2003 and 2005 and in 2012 apartment in which we broke the lease by leaving early anyway we thought we had it worked out with the apartment complex. Didnt, still on going. Anyway Twin Creek Village Apartments Not giving us any credit for being at our last house 02/2013 till 07/01/2017 Anyway long story short on 12/29/2017 Twin Creek Village Apartments put my deposit check through, the one dated 11/17/2017. They seem all nice and helpful dont fall for it...😡

Never ever live here, these crooks keep harassing us because they dont know how to handle their own paper work. They get a new manager every couple weeks, it takes months to get any sort of maintenance done (including changing a lightbulb), their customer service is embarrassingly incompetent and tries to trick money out of you every chance they get. They even have their own employees on here boosting their ratings up.

In sum, the apartment is plain and average with very thin walls, a million paint jobs through the years and poorly adhered cabinets with corresponding quality also very poorly lacking. The neighborhood is dodgy--in a three month period, my car was stolen (thankfully recovered a month later), my stepsons bike was stolen, and a bottle of detergent left in the laundry accidentally for about an hour was also stolen. There are some nice people around, but at the same time, its not the best neighborhood. I rented quickly as I moved in from out of state for a new job, which is why I got stuck with this place. They spend a lot of time making sure the gardens around their offices look pretty to hook in people, and throw up one ugly flower in front of each residence. If you try and get satellite cable, they dont deny you as it is your legal right, but the stipulations in the lease on where you can put the dish are SO tight and restrictive, you actually cant put the dish anywhere. Its so ridiculous.Management staff is constantly changing and they were slightly unorganized. Multiple times received eviction notices by mistake, admittedly by them. The final complain is that I left early and they threw in some ridiculous charges on my final bill (walls covered in food). I mean, come on. My husband and I spent hours making sure we moved out and left the place in excellent condition, even taking photos in case they tried to pull anything. Who knew I should have taken pictures of the walls. *Eyeroll*.After receiving my final bill, I got in touch with management to see why they put down such a ridiculous charge. They said they would look into it and get back to me. Of course they never did and threw my bill to collections.Honestly, just stay away.

There was a new manager every three weeks. They never got their stuff together. MULTIPLE times our bolt broke and we couldnt get in our apartment. We would call the emergency after hours number and they never answered and wouldnt respond until the next day. they would just replace the lock with a just as cheap one which would just break again a month later. A new company bought Twin Creeks a month before our lease was up. Didnt think much of it until our lease was up and we tried to move out. This new company has a policy of requiring a 30 day notice of moving out. They tried to charge us an entire extra months rent with extra fees. Even though we signed with carlsbad, which didnt have this policy, and not Cstar, the company that owns it now, they still wanted to charge an extra $800. They got their legal team involved with this and eventually dropped the charges after a lot of arguing, but it should have never happened in the first place. Never got our deposit back even though there were no damages or anything. Yeah its cheap here but not worth it. Dont live here

We’ve been living here since December 2017, management wasn’t the greatest, messed up a lot of paperwork but we started noticing in January 2018 some roaches, yes I said it, roaches!!!! We are very clean people, we keep our apartment extremely clean so we aren’t the source of the roaches. So of course we called and let the office know, they said we’ll come and spray etc. So they came, sprayed and guess what, still seen a few roaches, now by this time I believe the apartments got a new owner which came with new management. So again, we called and let the office know that we’re still seeing roaches, so of course they said ok we’ll spray. By this time we’re getting pretty irrated because this is the first time me and my husband have ever dealt with roaches, we lived here about 5-6 years ago and never had this problem. These apartments are pretty nice. So again, they came and sprayed, and once again, still seeing a few roaches here and there. It’s now the end of July and literally every single month we’re having to call them about this roach problem. We even talked to other neighbors in our building who said they as well have been having a roach problem and they’re constantly calling the office about this issue. So they came a little over a week ago to spray, again for roaches. Well last night in my kitchen by my sink I had to kill a roach. This morning I called the office managaer Kat to let her know again about this roach issue and now it’s getting to the point of where I’m afraid our belongings will get infested, which means throwing thousands of dollars away in our belongings. So I told her, the spray isn’t working, and why don’t you guys bomb the apartment that’s the main source of the roaches. She told me no, the spray works. I told her how can you say the spray works when we’re having to call every single month literally since January because they’re coming back??? (If the spray works like she claims they’re wouldn’t be any issue and there wouldn’t be roaches) In order to get rid of cockroaches you have to bomb and get to the source of the roaches. We’re going on 8 months, SPRAYING ISNT WORKING. So I told her if the roaches don’t go away me and my husband want to move to another clean unit, all she said was well send someone out to inspect and that’s it! So before you move here and sign the lease, make sure you walk around and talk to current tenants living here. It’s a shame they’re not taking this roach problem serious, you never know all it takes is one person to spread the word around about roaches and people won’t want to move here. I know myself I’ve talk to many people who wanted to move here and I told them about the roach issue we’ve been having for 8 months and DO NOT MOVE HERE! With that being said it is such a beautiful complex.

The unit we moved into was run down. Carpet was gross, bathrooms had mold and poor tile installation. The tile in on bathroom looks like something in a horror movie. The ceiling fan make zapping noises. The kitchen cabinets where filthy and falling apart. After having roaches in my household growing up, you tend to notice the smell. I am pretty sure this place had an infestation at one point. For all this, the prices are unreasonable and i look forward to moving out.

This place is awesome however if you don’t mind paying for unwanted roommates ! Cockroaches cockroaches and more cockroaches ! It’s quite sickening how they can be so neglectful and negligent of certain residents living condition to allow the clean upstanding residents to have to suffer month in and month out . A simple walkthrough of a certain apartment would literally fix the problem when they see the living conditions of the problem apartment but they would rather keep throwing money at pest control instead of cutting the head off the snake . Other then that this place is amazing beautiful grounds, awesome pool area and good rates I would love to go e a higher rating but until I see some efforts being made on the managers behalf I’ll keep posting reviews once this problem is eliminated it’s getting old having to empty my family’s kitchen and bathroom cabinets every month due to the cockroaches being spread by a filthy residents apartment !!!!!!!!!
