Very very unexpected. I never received services. I walked in and no one greeted me. No sign in our formalities. They definitely have a preference of clients. I called before I came and asked if they were busy and if I needed an appointment and the male who answered said no just come in. I came in to a room full and no availability. I left and came back and still no greeted and even over looked when seating customers.Very very unsettling.

Been coming here for years. Always come out loving my nails. Everyone I recommend they come back all the time. Peter and Kathy are my go too. You will not regret coming here

My granddaughters went there for full set nails and pedicures. The pedicures were pretty good I thought but one of my granddaughters nails didnt look as good as the other granddaughter. So my rating reflects that.

When I go here I only do my nails with 1 of 2 people. That is Peter the owner and/or Kathy. Kathy is my favorite. With her you always need an appointment. Peter will take you with out appointment. Everyone is always nice and friendly and the price is reasonable compared to other places. I have been going here for 3years.

Went as a walk in and got good service.

This was taken 20 minutes after i left the shop. After asking for a simple gradient style nail (just one color fading into another color) and arguing with Peter (the owner) for 20 minutes. I finally gave up and said just give me basic yellow. I told the nail tech the shape was off. She refiled ONE nail. painted them and left for the night. She left before i was done. As the nails dried Peter and I were the only ones left in the salon and I told him my nails dont look right. This is not COFFIN style nails. He told me it was my fault for not telling my nail tech (who had already left). He refused to fix it or give me my money back. Go to 21 Nails at your own risk. They dont know how to do any new designs. They dont do nails correctly and the owner DOES NOT CARE about customer service. Look at the picture and be he judge.

While getting my pedicure I choose to get gel and the nail polish was so cheap like it had been watered down. The painting skills were mediocre do not waste your money here. She also cut one of my toes while cleaning them.

Best place to get your nails done. Kathy is fantastic with nail sets and Chu is the best for pedicure.

Kathy is awesome at doing nails my nails always last so long! She’s always busy so make a apt.. it’s a Convenient spot in Newark with a parking lot. Prices are very reasonable. Anyone does my feet and I’ve never had and issues. Also Kathy is amazing at fake lashes too!

Peter is very rude and does not offer good service. He is disrespectful to customers and does not do good quality nails. The salon is so unprofessional and they do not own up to their mistakes. My nails were Crooked, not painted fully and I was cut. To add fuel to the fire he rushed my nails because he had a client waiting. If you receive bad service they will argue with customers and not give you prices you deserve. Do not get your nails done here, it is a waste of time and money!!!

We love Peter and his crew! Always does a great job, reasonably priced, and honest! Peter is funny and jokes with everyone.

Unprofessional, very rude over the phone

After having so much failed attempts to find a good nail shop downtown. This on has been the best experience yet and are right down the street from me. I love it.

This is a horrible establishment. Do not waste your time here. The guy is more into talking about politics than doing nails. I went in to get the gel removed and add tips. He started using dirty tools and then was about to glue down the plastic nail onto my real nail without cleaning my nails . All the gel did not come off and when I asked him about it, he got upset and told me that he cannot remove all the gel. I changed my mind and told him I wanted a regular plain manicure. But because the regular manicur was substantially lower in price he refused to do my nails. I walked out frustrated.Never have I been to a nail salon where they cant remove All the gel.or nail polish.You run the risk of getting a nail fungus going here and the service is God Awful.Guess he did me a favor and saved me from a nail infection.

Worse place ever, the guy made fun of my friend who walks with a cane due to having MS, then claimed that he was joking. We walked out without being serviced, there was no way I was going to spend my money in that place. That was first and last time going there. To had I cant rate this place a zero 🤬

The store owner (only man working there) stepped on my freshly painted toes (and messed them up) to look over my shoulder and view my PIN as I entered it to pay for my services. Then he read my PIN aloud to everyone in the nail salon. Literally all 4 digits. The following day, I had a $300 charge on my checking account that I did not withdraw. I am 100% certain this store owner was responsible for that. I would NOT recommend this business to anyone.

Don’t waste your time coming here!!! The owner Peter is very disrespectful. The service is horrible and there material is cheap!!! You tell him what you want and he gets mad and says he know his job. I tell him ok but its my money and he says I DONT NEED YOUR MONEY. Left my nails how they were and left!

Very friendly and down to earth staff

First time there but very nice.

Unfortunately, I ended up waiting an hour because one of their technicians didnt show up. However, Trudy was very nice and did a great job with my acrylic fill-in - she was very meticulous about making the nails look thin and natural. Price was also great, only $16 for a fill in (which is much cheaper than everything else Ive encountered so far in North Jersey). Another drawback though, the service was not quick - fill-in took about 2 hours.I also got an eyebrow wax, and in terms of shape, they look great. Also decent price ($7). That being said, this was the most painful eyebrow wax Ive ever had done... I have sensitive skin, but Ive never left a place with my skin so red and raw. Probably wouldnt recommend their waxing because of this.

The owner Peter I think is name is only man in store is very rude & disrespectful. A customer came in and complain about her last service he told her get out of store.

I have a broken ankle so I came here knowing they have handicap parking instead of my usual place. I havent been here in yrs and now I remember why. The woman that sits in the front greeted and assisted me. First thing that threw me was that after i soaked, she didnt want me to wash my hands. Then as she was doing my nails, she cut me numerous times with the drill. When I left, she still didnt help me wipe my hands off and it was a messy job with crusty powder left under my nails... Now i know never again..

I went there to get a pedicure with my child I was getting service done with Maria my child was seeing the nail polish display up front as she was turning the display seeing the different color of polish Peter the only male there decided he would yell at my daughter as he was in the mountains like a caveman. I proceeded to tell him not to yell at my daughter as when he did she ran and hid behind my chair scared and frantic. My daughter suffers from anxiety he didn’t even apologize he proceeded to say that he was scared. Scared I don’t know why if he scared everyone in the place. Then I was so upset told Maria I would be leaving after what had happen she proceeded to charge me 21 dollars and hadn’t even cleaned my feet she started it was taking the gel polish off. That place smells like a dump and their service is very poor. Maria states to me as well that he is costumed to yelling at everyone’s child. That will absolutely not happen with mines. I had to put one star or else it would not allow me to post this review but if I could I would have not put not even one.

I took my daughter and niece here to get a gel manicure Wednesday 2/10/2016 and the polish came off today 2/13/2016. I would NEVER go there again and they had the nerve to talk about ViVi nails saying they polish is cheap. The service sucks and they are rude is hell!!!

BEWARE NEW MANAGEMENT!!! This is NOT the same service I received for years. Calling the owner HORRIBLE is an understatement. From saying Im next to be skipped and wait an hour, insulting me about my nails, leaving me in the chair to go outside on a 10 minute phone call, BEING EXTREMELY ROUGH WITH MY NAILS BECAUS OF HIS BAD MOOD FROM PHONE CALL, This place is ghetto, not professional I highly recommend to go on Broad/Market downtown. Kathy was nice but not worth the aggravation of the owner total douche bag!

The service is horrible the workers are rude and the work done on your nails is terrible. They over charge you and still do a horrible job on your nails I am definitely not going back and if I do go back Peter could never do my nails again.
