The service crew was professional and thoroughly explained the problem and resolution. The cost for the service call was very reasonable, however the part that needed replaced is available from multiple sources for $20 to $35 and I was charged $199. I understand a reasonable markup but this is a 400 to 500 percent markup on the part.

We are very pleased with the service everyone we interacted with has provided. Communication was easy and someone always answered our calls and emails. The guys that came to install the new AC unit were very professional and did good job listening to where we wanted the unit installed. At the end gave us a detailed instructions of the new install and how to use it. Would highly recommend this business.

Contracted as part of Keystone Custom Homes. Numerous issues with rushed work was noticed throughout the home after we moved in. The water to the dish washer was never turned on and this wasn’t found out till after a cycle had run. A component to the HVAC was installed incorrectly, only supplying heat / cool to half of the house. The master tub had a shower head install that would constantly run with the spout even when it was supposed to be off. This was ultimately determined to be installed incorrectly per the manufacture instructions. This caused numerous issues with them removing and reinstalling the tub which led to it cracking. Months later we discovered the overflow drain had been leaking because the gasket was not seated properly. This was also where the crack in the tub was. This leak led to mold growing between the first and second floors and under the bathroom vinyl.I requested a different plumbing service numerous times through the builders but since they were awarded the contract, I was forced to use them as part of the warranty.

We called Sobieski to come and look for a leak in our system (A/C unit was freezing up). Didnt receive a return call for three days. Scheduled two techs to come out the next day... they diagnosed a leak at the outside unit, but because of rain, said they couldnt do anything about it and left. No phone call to reschedule, no email, nothing. I called two days later, wondering when Id hear back, left a message... and have heard nothing since. That was five days ago. We had a tech from another company come today, and he found and repaired the leak within ten minutes of arrival... right at the unit in the basement. No leaks at the outside unit were found, as the Sobieski techs stated. Im left feeling duped out of 90 hard-earned dollars, several sleepless -and hot- nights, and wondering if they lied on purpose to get out of a job...

I have a Ryan Home completed in 2017. Today, my gas furnace stopped functioning properly. When I opened up the panel, no burners were firing. However, the worst thing I saw was a corroded gas line and rusting gas value as well as fluid leaking from the motor. This isn’t the first issue we’ve had with their installations where our tankless water heater will stop running as well.I would never recommend using their installation services and strongly recommend to Ryan Homes that Sobieski not work on their houses anymore.

I was pleasantly surprised to see the same HVAC Tech that originally inspected my 16 year old Heating and AC System one year ago. He was at my house to perform its first annual inspection of the Lennox System he had originally recommended to us to solve all our HVAC needs. After his inspection, he agreed that it was working perfectly and that we were set for another year of total climate control. Recommend Sobieski 100%!

After waiting all week for a scheduled appointment, Zach B. arrived just before 5pm on June 17 to say that our unit was too difficult to reach so no work could be done and he left after less than 5 minutes. This unit is still under warranty. It was installed in 2015 and the workers were able reach the location fine for the install. Isnt this what HVAC workers sometimes do? They work in confined spaces such as attics and crawlspaces. There is a flexible piece of duct connected right at the entrance door that could easily have been moved. While there was no charge for the service, a vacation day from work was used in order to accommodate the appointment because the timeframe is from 8am - 5pm. We had planned on purchasing a Platinum Service Contract but apparently Zach B. makes these revenue decisions for the company based on the location of equipment. High marks to Jenna B. and Jennifer W. in scheduling. We still have no air conditioning and are calling other companies. We received very poor customer service from Sobieski in this situation. Our air stopped cooling the house during a heat wave mid July. Emanuel came on Friday and tried several ways to get the system up. The bad news: we had to replace it. He called his manager and we both spoke with him. Early Monday morning Sylnea reached out to me with all the necessary paper work. We talked, she offered a good price and helped me through the financing application. Doug and Kevin arrived at 8 AM.. I cant be happier at the service and responsiveness of the entire team. .

I moved into a new construction home in the fall of 2019. A brand new Lennox unit was installed by Sobieski. The first summer in the home we started having problems with the unit while it was still under warranty, cold air was not blowing through the vents and the thermostat was always at significantly higher temperature than what it was set on on. A technician from Sobieski came out early August they explained that it’s normal for the inside of the house to be 10 degrees cooler than temperature outside. They did not service unit / look at coolant levels or pressures. Fast forward to June of this year the same problem was happening called a different HVAC provider for a second opinion. When that provider came out the found that my unit needed 3 lbs of coolant, they explained this was highly unusual and that there was most likely a leak. I called Sobieski to inform them of what I had found out, Micah isaid he would look into and get back to me. I never heard back and to call again to get in contact with someone. When I finally was able to get some answers I was informed that I would have to pay for them to come out to find the leak and fix the problem depending on what it was. This is after I have spent hundreds of dollars with another provider because Sobieski was incompetent to find and fix the problem the first time I called. The quality of their work is terrible they only care about getting the unit installed as fast as possible because it effects their bottom line with the builder.

Although paying monthly for their “gold” membership they continually do not show up appointments, don’t call to tell you, and don’t reach out until YOU call to find out where the hell they are. This is after you go through their crazy phone transfers and call back for scheduling. Such a waste of my time to sit home all day waiting for my scheduled technician to show and they don’t. My thought is they replace your appointment with those who they can charge more that don’t have a membership discount. Do not ever call this company terrible customer service. 0/5 stars. My A/C went out on my new home that Sobieski installed a year ago. Which is still under their warranty. Called and put 4 emergency claims in last weekend. We have a 4 month old baby and the house was 82° and needed the AC fixed ASAP. Sobieski never called back after 10 hours I had to use another company and they came out within 2 hours. A WEEK LATER AND STILL HAVE YET TO RECEIVE A CALL BACK. The last claim I submitted I was told that the techs pick and choose whether they respond to the claim or not. Dont use Sobieski. Call your local family owned HVAC company. They care. Sobieski doesnt.

Whole hvac system installed by Sobieski in 2013 and service contract since—I’ve had numerous mysterious issues after each “tune up” service…most recently called about a leak from the unit—the technician came out, spent a total of 10 minutes in my house and quoted me $1000 because of the “bad thermostat”—I don’t even think he looked at the unit! It didn’t sound right so had another hvac person come out, reconnected a wire that Sobieski disconnected and cleared out a clogged pipe that was causing the leak—charged me zero!!!! The so called bad Thermostat was fine!!! Shady business practices and would never use Sobieski again!! Stick with your honest, mom & pop companies-they don’t try to rip you off!

The service personnel are always extremely friendly and courteous but the way they quote jobs and the price they charge is astronomical.To reconfigure water lines in my basement they wanted to charge $2,300. Oh but the promotion for the month was $52.00 off and you could buy a service plan for an additional discount but even the discounted price was $2,000.The materials, at WORST would cost $200-300 to buy from Lowe’s and the actual job itself isn’t complex or hard to access. The job would take maybe 4 hours give or take.So at that rate, they are charging $500 per hour for labor. You can’t see this on their price quote they just look at the job, go back to the truck to call for the cost and come back to give you a price with no breakdown for what the costs are.One star for the price quote the only reason it’s 2 stars is because the people were easy to work with and respectful.

Called at 8am explaining that my sewage main line was backed up, was instructed that someone would be out during the day, at 4pm I had not heard from anyone so I called back again asking if they had a status. They instructed me that I was next on the list. 745pm no one had called or showed, I called back again and they took my information and said someone would be in contact with me shortly, did not receive a call until 830am the next day saying they do not work on those kind of issues.Very unprofessional and a complete waste of time

Rep came to check heating unit to see why the blower would not come on. After inspection the rep could not find the problem and suggested that we would need a new heating unit on a 10 year old model. He then sawed through and cut away piping to check for clogs. None was found. He then proceeded to leave. When I asked him about the pipes he destroyed on my furnace he simply replied that I would need a new furnace anyway without even determining the problem. I agreed that may be so but would like a 2nd opinion and my pipes repaired. The rep then became upset, says hell fix the damage, he and his partner left the house and never returned. Leaving me with the pipes he damaged now having to be paid for to get repaired. Absolutely horrific customer service and sham of a way to make someone purchase a new furnace from this company.

This is the second unit that was placed in my home thats only been standing for less than 2 years. The first unit stopped giving heat. This unit is not giving AC, and is freezing up due to a leak. I have been calling since May, all calls marked urgent as we have a 1year old with allergies and since May have experienced at least 2 heat waves, no response. I have had to call out 2 other companies just to bandaid the problem. I called them today and myself and CSR manager found that all the number listed is connected to the call center. We still havent heard from anyone. Horrible Horrible service, will never recommend and am currently looking into legal options

Had them come out and look at mys AC unit because it was not working as it should. I thought the A coil was freezing up but wasnt sure if it was a problem with the coil or the condenser. I called them because they installed my current furnace about 5 years ago and did a good job. They did respond quickly. The tech came out and looked the condenser and said everything looked fine ( of course since I had turned off the unit the coil was not frozen at the time). He noted that they could either replace the unit (it is 21 years old) at a cost of $6,000 to $7,000 or we could try and replace some parts to the tune of just over $1,000. I went for the repair. Needless to say it was a bad investment. When the weather got hot again the coil started to freeze up again.I decided to go another route after using Sobieski. My brother gave me the name of the guy he has used for his multi story office building and home for years. He came over the day after I called him. He spent just about the same amount of time at the Sobieski tech and did a bit more. He actually took the ducting apart and inspected the A coil (ok for its age) and most importantly checked the Freon level, The other tech had also done this and noted that it was ok. The new guy said the level was ok but could be better. So we decided to add some Freon. It took a pound and a half (quite a bit). For his time and the Freon he charged me $120. The AC is working fine ! The system will need to be replaced soon however its just too old. Guess who will be doing that work.

I want to be fair about my review on this so I will give the pros and cons as I experienced them.Pros:1. They installed many of the fixtures and plumbing in my new construction home and only one of them had an issue.2. They are responsive as it relates to their Google reviews customer service.Cons:1. They are not 24 hours. They have a messaging service that takes message during off hours.2. Their warranty service time window was pretty bad for me. It was upwards of seven days for a sewer smell in the bathroom. (Ended up being a bad wax seal.)I can safely give it three stars for average service. It wasnt bad or good but rather just meh overall and I wouldnt likely choose them personally in the future. However, others have had great experiences with them. Im simply giving you my view of them from my experience.

Had HVAC maintenance appointment 5/4 and technician was no call, no show. Heat pump failed later that day, disabling my A/C. Have called the company at least a half dozen times since then, tried to schedule service online, even emailed the salesman who sold us our system, and have received no response. Had Morevent come out to diagnose the issue and its a failed component in the Lennox heat pump that is likely under warranty--but they cant do the warranty service. So I called Sobieski again, and am still being ghosted. More than a month with no A/C, after purchasing more than $35,000 of new HVAC equipment from them over the last three years. Disappointing to say the least.

Sobieski install the heat furnace. Furnace intake and exhaust pipes were not installed correctly that cause primary and secondary heat exchange to fail. Both parts were under warranty from Comfortmaker. Sobieski came to do the service; it took them 9 days to get the primary and secondary heat exchange. The weather outside was between 17 to 25 in lower end for 9 days. I almost call them couple of time every day to check on the status, no proper status was provided even after reaching the General Manager George or Shann or Heather or few other people. George was bragging that he has done the job for 20 years and cant think out of the box to get the parts early. Totally stuck with same way of doing the job and not comfortable to change or improve service. They charged me $1578 to do the job on top of $89 for 1st time visit. Find a better HVAC company to do the job.

I called the customer service at Sobieski when the service men arrived to do the HVAC maintenance only and we’re on aware of the request for maintenance around the condenser in my front yard. The customer service rep advised Ed and he called me back a couple of hours later. I outlined the problem with him he verified the error and totally took care of it. Theyre a ripoff! The only way Sobieski will come to your house for maintenance on your heating and air is if you have a maintenance contract at about $300 a year. And they are over extended with all the new home construction theyve partnered with. Read other peoples reviews.

We needed to replace our 11 year old Lennox HVAC systems that were installed with our home when it was built. Those systems needed ~$2000 of repairs and recharge of the old R22 (?) refrigerant, so we decided to replace them now.We came to Sobieski Services through Costco. Sobieski made appropriate recommendations, placed our order, installed the new systems, and helped us submit for the Costco and PECO rebates all within a week of our first call. The crew that came out worked from 8:30am until almost 9pm to de-install the old systems and install the new outdoor Lennox AC system and the indoor heater, coil, air cleaner, humidifier, and programmable thermostats. They were missing 2 small parts to fully complete the job, but came back another evening and worked until 9pm to finish.Good job, reasonable price. We recommend them.

I have a service contract with them. I called when my AC broke down on a Saturday afternoon. Made several calls since then (Its Sunday) and no one has gotten back to me. I called two other AC companies and both called me the same day. I selected one who repaired my AC the same day. I had to pay a premium because my service contract was not with this other company. Yet, I have one with Sobieski and no one has reached out to me. Im ending my service contract immediately. Is it an extreme coincidence that Sobieski made a regular semi annual service call just a few days before the unit breaks down? I also have been given misleading information about another work order to relocate the outdoor condenser unit. They gave me an estimate, scheduled the service, then called me to ask me if I had installed the barriers yet. I had no idea I had to install barriers. They didnt provide me any specifications for them. I asked why I needed barriers, they said it was to meet building code. I asked for the specific code they were referring to. They couldnt tell me and wouldnt provide specifications for the barriers. I contacted Sussex County in writing and they responded in writing, there is no such code. I called Sobieski back to inform that of this news and asked when they could schedule the work order. They never called me back on that either.

I have a deaf and partially blind dog, and he got onto the front lawn for a few minutes without us knowing it. This was incredibly unprofessional and could’ve ended disastrously for our beloved pup. Recently (within last 6 weeks) used Sobieski to have two HVAC units installed in my home. Since that time we have required 3 service calls for varying reasons related to the new units not working. Have repeatedly asked to speak to owner and / or manager have yet to receive a call from either.. Very discouragingthis is now my 2nd post regarding lack of response from Sobieski regarding 2 new systems that were installed just a few months ago.i received a cancellation notice from the warranty company on both new units i have emailed Sobieski 3x in the last month, have not received any response whatsoever. now i need to contact Costco since it was bought through my Costco account. just amazing.

Sales guy recommended an AC unit way beyond what we actually need. When I had issues with the copper tubing for the water heater, it takes forever for them to respond and did not want to take care of the issue. What it really interested in is another sale - to recommend water treatment. I paid top dollar for its service, only get mediocre results. Very disappointed to say the least.

We had a great first experience with Sobieski Inc.. They were very responsive on the phone, and scheduling an appointment to meet our needs wasnt a problem even during this challenging time! The technician arrived when expected, and he was incredibly pleasant and professional. We were so impressed we went ahead and purchased a maintenance contract. They were recommended to us by a neighbor and we would definitely recommend them to anyone looking to have AC or heating work done.

Wow. Where do I begin .... this company HAS to be the worst in existence. We purchased a SUPER expense 2 zone Lennox Elite heating /AC system and from the beginning it’s been a nightmare. They never measured our large home to calculate air flow and they put in the wrong outdoor units and luckily I discovered that mistake. They undersized some of the ductwork for the 2nd floor and had to come back, rip everything out, and redo it all. If it wasn’t for the fact that we had Costco watching our back none of this would have been corrected or covered.Next our upstairs EXPENSIVE ($750!!) iComfort thermostat blanked out and they told us it was out of warranty, charged us full price + install and PUT IN AN OBSOLETE THERMOSTAT!!! Lennox customer support got involved to confirm it was under warranty so we were reimbursed, but now we have an obsolete thermostat and we just determined Sobieski didn’t program it to work with the humidifier built into the system.We tried to have them come to correct this and we were informed they “no longer service our area”—which isn’t true.Trust us ... Sobieski does NOT deserve your business and if you buy a Lennox system through Costco make certain that Sobieski is not the installer. You’ll be very glad you read this review as we’re thinking EVERYONE is better.

I had a great experience with Steve E today. I just had routine heater cleaning done but he was courteous and explained everything. He took the time to answer all of the questions. Gave some recommendations but was not pushy. Thanks for a great experience.

We Love having Sobieski Services keep our home comfortable no matter the weather. Steve E was the most recent Service Pro. It was the first time he had been to our home. He was very prompt (called ahead of time telling me he would be arriving on time.) He always put on his booties to protect our home - even though I said not necessary since I have a dog. Steve was keeping me posted as to what he was doing and went above & beyond when I needed 2 new filters . He had 1 left on his truck & went to go get me another one since he was out. Very professional, let me know what he did, was very clean when he left. Not surprised though Sobieski is a very professional company! 5 Stars!!

Very Very expensive they charged me $80 just to show up and another 180 just make sure it is working fine. I believe he hardly took few mins to verify everything is fine. No work done n still charging for like they fixed something major!!

Even with a service agreement and calling in an emergency repair they couldnt come over for over 2 weeks!! Our problems only occurred because their service technicians have messed it up and made things worse. I will never use their services again. I have already canceled my service agreement and my unit has been repaired by another company.

I had Sobieski a few years ago then we built another home and moved! Told by the builder that we needed to use their contractor which is horrible! So we went back back to Sobieski! Jelly signed us back up very professional and detailed everything! Choose the plan which is great for me and I thank her she’s the best! So happy to be back with the best!!!

He was unable to repair the zone control.He had to order a new one.The zone control is under warranty. Its not even a year old.The air conditioner is not able to turn on,it too is under a year old.
