I just had them here to give me a quote for a new central air unit - I was quite upfront that all I wanted was pricing, and whatever info they needed to give me a price I would walk them through. I got a 20 minute pitch on what a great company they are, about their Google Ratings, they showed me picture of other companies ads a tutorial on scams. I said at least twice that I did not need a sale pitch on the company - I just need pricing on a new unit. Instead I got further sales pitches like 68% of BBB complaints are about home improvement contractors. Would you like to take a guess why? When I finally got a price, it was written on a plain sheet of paper, with rating, unit numbers, etc. I said it was more than I thought it was going to be, and I needed to think about it. The Gentleman said he would leave me his card - then proceeded to take the slip of paper with the unit and pricing. I point blank asked Arent you going to leave that here? to which he said no, because I was not ready for a contract. I asked again for him to leave the paper, and he again would not.My advice - if you want aggressive sales tactics give them a call. If you want pricing, you may be out of luck.

Trevor was very professional, polite and nice guy. He clearly knew what he was doing and informed me on what needed to be done to fix my problem and how I can maintain my system better. I now have an annual service contract and hope he returns.

Phil was absolutely awesome!!! He provided topnotch service!!! Phil was so professional, knowledgeable, thorough, patient and kind. He knew what the problem was immediately with our AC unit. He even took the time to record before and after videos of the issue that was in the attic so we could see it. We really appreciated him taking the extra effort to do that. The tech who came out was thorough but the Company seemed to push for purchase of a new system. Our HVAC system is old but is still repairable. At first, we elected to hear a sales pitch, since we were told how bad our system was in. When we changed our mind about hearing from a sales rep. for a new system, we had to suffer without a system during July. Weeks later we got our system repaired. I would not use them again.

Derrick was the service technician. He was professional & very courteous! He checked the entire system, changed the filter & put tablets I supplied him in the A/C pan. He answered my questions & was very thorough.

I requested HVAC services in reference to a vent issue at my residence. I explained to the call taker that it was a vent not blowing air and they advised that they would send out a tech to conduct a full system diagnostic for a dispatch fee of $99. The tech arrived and was less than motivated. He never removed any vent covers aside from one on the floor and looked at it with his cell phone light. He ultimately determined (after a period of less than 5-10 minutes) that he didnt have the tools to service it and recommended another company.Gold Star still, dispatched a tech and charged me the $99 dollar fee knowing that they dont service vent issues. I never received a diagnosis for the issue. I attempted to challenge the fee with management which met with negative results. They even admitted to dispatching people knowing that they couldnt fix the issue and that the fee was non refundable.I would be VERY cautious when seeking services from Gold Star. Bad vibes all around.

Technician Christian and Joshu were very responsive and informed me of everything they where doing while installing my new Diakin heating and ac unit. I watched them and asked questions almost every step of the process and it seemed to me that they really didnt mind given me any and all information. GEORGE was ontop of it. My flood sensor tripped and I couldnt get it to reset. He fixed it with HVAC magic.. That was that. 10 minutes tops.

My old water heater started leaking all over the basement and needed to be replaced. I was able to schedule installation of a new one for the same day! The installer showed up within the schedule window and was very polite and thorough. He explained what he was doing and went over everything again before he left. Everything was done within a few hours, including testing of the dual elements. This is my second time using them and I’m very satisfied with the work done.

We use Gold Star for all our heating and cooling needs both at work and at home. Donovan is a superb technician. He is personable, smart, capable and helpful. He troubleshoots thoroughly and explains everything well. All of their guys (and gals) seem very able and I have confidence in their opinions and repairs. We have started biannual service/maintenance with them as well so everything stays working smoothly. They are helpful on the phone to schedule, IMMEDIATE answers with after hours emergency calls. Gold star is responsive, pleasant to deal with and they have a customer for life in me!
