Absolutely amazing service!! My nails look amazing, and I got a facial done as well. I could really see that the staff here know what theyre doing and care for their clients, with a great price
So, I went to get my nails done here a week ago with a friend and we both had an odd experience. I wanted to give myself time to think things over before writing my review.First, I’d like to say I’d had my nails done several times before in several places in NYC and out of state so I’m aware that each place is different. Now, here’s my experience. I was seated and a young girl comes over to do my nails. I mentioned that I didn’t use gel nail polish but I did use a gel top coat. To remove it, all she needed to do was remove my top coat with a nail file then apply acetone for a few minutes. It seemed like she didn’t want to spend too much time removing it since she gave up using the acetone. And she said “it’s not coming off so I’ll use a nail file.” And she proceeded to file off the top coat all the way to the normal nail polish until she filed all of it off. She cut me several times and wrecked my nail plate/cuticles. Yes, you need to file nails to create grip for the gel but I felt that filling through was unnecessary when the bottom was normal polish.I mentioned I wanted to have my cuticle pushed up but she said she needed to cut it a bit. At this point, my nail plates were completely ruined and I just wanted them to be done so I said fine. She cut some of my cuticle and quickly painted my nails. It was so oddly done that some parts had more gel nail polish than others. So, on the same nail, the polish was uneven. It looked like something I could have done at home. And it was because she was trying to finish quickly, my friend started getting her nails done before me and we finished at the same time. Also, I noticed my friend was asked to wash her hands to remove the nail residue/grit created from filling them before getting her gel applied while I wasn’t. Odd to offer different treatment but I didn’t let it bother me.Include in the mani was a massage for a total of $28. The massage was applying lotion and a moist towel and then a weird hang grab. It was a fast and odd massage. Usually, my fingers are pulled and the nail cuticle massaged with oil but okay.Anyways, my bill was $38 which I found odd since it was promoted as $28. But in the moment, I thought it was what it was. And I gave a $10 tip for a total of $48 and left with my friend. My friend and I talked about our experience because my nails really hurt. My proximal nail fold was painful and a few parts bled because the nail tech had filed upwards and every which way. My friend had similar pain and her nails were also badly done.I’m not sure why we experience this because every person in there seemed to be having a good experience expect us. Anyways, this was my experience and I’m not sure if you’ll experience the same thing. However, I would not recommend it since my proximal nail fold show signs of infection caused by the damage from the nail file.
Honestly, super subpar service. I would avoid at all costs. I am not the type to leave reviews but after this experience, I had to. I have been to many nail salons in NYC and I have had my share of disappointments but this was the worst. The staff was so disinterested in doing their job, it was unbelievable. Should have known when this salon was empty while every other nearby salon was booked solid.Got a normal pedicure and it was the most rushed and subpar pedicure I have ever gotten. The water was barely warm, and any scrubbing or massaging was literally just holding my legs and feet for 10 seconds. My technician didn’t even have the courtesy to wipe my legs fully after the 10 second “massage”. The technician seemed in a such a rush even though there was no one else at the salon except me and my friend. They were in such a rush to do a poor job.The paint job itself is not horrible but it has only been 2 days. I get it, most salons don’t put much effort into the pedicure itself but i can’t even describe what I received as a pedicure but a polish change with dipping my feet into the water. The entire pedicure was done in 10 minutes while I waited for my nails to dry for 15. I ended up giving 20% tip because I didn’t want to deal with their bullying (see below) but their service deserved no tip or even the amount charged. My friend’s pedicure was just as subpar so she was only tipping a few dollars but literally got bullied into giving 20%. When she mentioned her tip amount, they blatantly said it is not 20% and kept pushing. Her technician, flabbergasted, just walked away. Then the receptionist lady came back to charge my friend and the whole thing repeated itself on how it is not a 20% tip so my friend just resigned and gave in. Such an awkward position. It is absolutely despicable when salons bully you for tips and are incredulous when the tip is lower for a sub par job. I would not recommend and will not be returning.
Amazing service. So kind and the selection of polish was top notch. Back massage at the end was sweet. Lovely all around lovely!
They deserve 0 stars. Sat in there for 2.5 hours for a fill and walked out with the worst nails I’ve ever had.
The salon is very clean and the personnel is friendly and does a very good job. They test well for covid tracing. The pricing is reasonable.
Got manicure and pedicure done, the nails look good, they do a good job but the girl that did my nails could’ve been less rough and a bit more gentle as she hurt me a few times when clipping my cuticles. Not sure if I would go back, might try other places as this one doesn’t have anything special to it and it didn’t feel like a relaxing pampering experience (it was like the workers didn’t even want to be there).
They’re always nice and professional and the facility is comfortable and clean. I am consistently happy with the service and it feels like the prices are reasonable for the good quality!
Staff was super nice and took their time to do my nails very well! They were kind and fast :)
Wonderful staff, very clean, and I always leave with beautiful nails!!!!
Great place. Friendly staff who listen. Very clean- especially through covid. Highly recommend!
Relaxing & very qualified manicurists.Very good safety practices.
I felt safe. Manicuristwas wearing a mask as well as a face shield and there was also a shield protector between me and her
My friend got us groupon deals when I was in town, we were able to get an appointment easily. This place was clean and comfy. the Receptionist was professional and friendly. We were instructed to sign-in on an ipad, which I think was really thoughtful to have a consent form for the Covid-l19. I feel safe being here. Although I am only traveling here, but my friend Gabby is a regular here. Id love you let yall know how great this place is. and most importantly, my Manicures was the best Ive had.
I come for mani pedi. Service is very poor. To remove red color from toe nails she circled around with cotton ball so badly, all the skin red from color around the foot and toes. Tech didn’t have any basic understanding how to shape basic nail or cut cuticle, she basically washed my feet and dried in towel than she was about to apply new color. I refused service at that point. For 25$ I expect pedicure at least cut cuticle and shape nails. I refused manicure.I paid for pedicure and left her 2$ tip.
My girlfriend comes here from time to time. It’s not close to her favorite nail salon but she says they are open late and do a decent enough job. It’s convenient. That’s all.
Went here over Memorial Day weekend while we were visiting the city. As my friends decided to stand in like for the cookie dough place next door I decided to get my nails done to pass time. I walked in and the place seemed nice and same with the workers. But theyre very different from the past nail salons Ive been to .. they use powder for acrylics instead of gel so my nails were very thin and looked very fragile. The nail tech that I had was very rude and kept getting frustrated with me pulling on my hands telling me to relax when I didnt know exactly how she wanted me to position my hands. After they were all done they looked very nice I cant lie, but my nails came out to be $80 including a tip. not even 2 days later after getting home and settled from our trip the gel nail polish she used peeled of on all but one nail so I proceeded to take the polish off with non acitone nail polish remover.. I painted them with something else until I could get an appointment with my nail tech. But a couple days pass by and Ive already had 3 nails crack and 4 chip off.. Im not impressed at all, especially with how much they cost me. DO NOT get your nails done here it is a total rip off !
Excellent manicure, pedicure and facial. Also very affordable. Very friendly staff.
Make sure you pay with credit card or get a receipt. They try to get you to pay in cash, and then write out the price (including tax) on a piece of scratch paper without giving a proper receipt. Not only is this a way to avoid taxes, its a way for them to squeeze a few bucks out of you because you’re still paying “sales tax” that will go into their pockets.Otherwise the service was fine.
They did a great job my nails look amazing.
Did gel manicure and pedicure here and it started flaking off less than a week later. The nail technician didnt remove all the excess of dead skin properly. As a result, I left her a 10% tip and she told me that I should tip her 20% listing the exact amount. ( I read the same story from a customer as well). Exact amount tip is not obligatory! She did a horrible job on my nails. A one star rating is too much..stay away from this place .
I went to this salon to get the dip gel manicure along with a normal pedicure. The experience was average, however, the nail technician did not do the normal dip gel powder procedure so they turned out thicker than usual and a little lopsided. As a result, I left a 10% tip and she proceeded to tell me that I should tip the normal 20%, and listed the exact amount I should tip her. Not only did she do a mediocre job on my nails, but she was telling ME what to tip her?? After I told her no she proceeded to stop talking to me, did not thank me for my business, kicked my shoe and did not apologize, and left me feeling awkward and unwelcome. I am not the type to skimp on a tip unless I feel it is truly necessary, and because of my experience here I will never return to this salon.
Came in 4 days ago to get a gel manicure, pedicure and eyebrows. Today one nail is half peeled off and another is chipped so I will have to go get them re-done because I cannot be at work in front of clients with half peeled nails. At the end I handed the girl a 10$ tip and in a very awkward exchange she told me that wasnt enough and walked away and came back with a calculator to show me that 20% was 12$. I gave her the money and left annoyed. Not only was it awkward but the manicure was terrible . I will not be back.
One of the best manicures I’ve gotten in this city. Great selection of gel colors!!!!!
Came for a mani pedi and the service was very rushed and careless. The technician filed my nails quite rough and aggressively, scraping my skin several times, poked me with the cuticle trimmer, gave me scalding hot water for the foot bath, etc. Then when it came time to pay, she complained about the tip I gave her. Will not be back.
I was there and the lady did an horrible job with my nails and i gave her 3$tip and she forced me to give her 20% then i give her 5$ and she took 1$ from my hand after i give her 5 Omg im shocked. Is overpriced and please save your self some money and go somewhere else .
Great place! Very friendly and affordable- Thank you Linda and Zoe
They do the best nails and a good job I love getting my nails done there they do good gel nails and I like getting acrylic there too
Won’t be back here. Didn’t communicate there was a wait for pedicures. Sat me down immediately in a chair and left me there for 30 minutes without explanation. Took other walk-ins ahead.
Excellent service - facials and manicure are well done
I went in for acrylic tips and the nail technician injured four cuticles and gave me the wrong shape. The nails I received were the ugliest nails I have ever gotten. It’s also quite obvious when they are bad mouthing you, even if it’s in another language.
The lady could barely speak English and seemed to get frustrated when I could not understand what she was asking me to do. They also cut into my cuticle when trimming them, which stung every time they applied any kind of remover or oil, and you have to provide cash for tip, which of course you can withdraw from their in house atm which has a fee.
Horrible they charged me 130$ for service and nails messed up the next day. They refused to help me. Never go here they will steal your money and waste your time.
Very Nice customer service, spacious & comfortable
Their service is bad. I had an appt. & a groupon. I would not buy a groupon for someone here. They are also incredibly standoffish
They always do a nice job and its clean.
Did gel manicure here and it started flaking off less than a week later !
State away from that place
