This place....they glued my finger to a nail, then filed at it with a nail file, leaving my finger raw and burning for days. I kept telling them my toes hurt and what my normal pedicurist does about that, and these lazy workers got smart with me asking me if I knew everything bc I knew how my own pedicure is typically done, and still didnt do what I asked. They just wanted to upchrage me for everything under the sun and take advantage of a tourist. They rushed me out when my toes still werent dry and ruined the paint on them.I wouldnt recommend this place. They dont care about the customer, just getting elbow deep in their wallets.
I always have a great time and get a fabulous pedicure at Nail Bella! They are soooo nice and soooo capable.
My favorite nail spot in the city. Staffs amazing
My wife is a customer for years and I needed a quick nail cut so she brought me here, I don’t use to get manicure often but I did it and it was great, the lady is very nice and friendly, my wife is always happy with her manicure and pedicure, she doesn’t post reviews but I just want to share her happiness and my great experience.
Fast service, good atmosphere and friendly staff. I went in to get a set of acrylic nails with my mum, we walked in and asked when the nearest appointment would be available and they let us right in and got to work, we were there for about 2 hours and many other people came in and out all were greeted happily and let right in as I had. The woman who was doing my nails double checked with me on every, if I liked the shape after every time she filed them and wouldnt stop until she was satisfied they were perfect and the same went for the polish. I would recommend to anyone in the area of they wanted their nails done, the manicures and pedicures seemed to be reasonably priced and the acrylic nails seemed to be one of the highest priced.
Had a gel manicure with tips done and with three days they were peeling off and breaking. The manicure was over 100 dollars and did not last
Such a lovely place! The whole staff was so friendly and welcoming. I found it very calm and peaceful inside. Clean and organized stations. Got a beautiful gel pedicure in 30 minutes. I will definitely be returning regularly.
It was definitely an interesting experience. The service was nice, and they were friendly, but there were some events that soured the experience.Firstly while looking at nail colors one of the technicians kept touching/petting my coat. It was a brown teddy coat that looked very nice but they didnt even ask before one of them just started touching, and she touched my backside nonetheless which was highly uncomfortable. My friend had lost her wallet the same evening and the nail salon store was the last place we saw it at. When I called to inquire about the wallet they were very quick to say no, and didnt even put me on hold or anything to attempt to bother checking. That was highly suspicious to me and now my friends bank account has been drained of her money. Theres positive intent, and while otherwise my nails look nice Im not sure Ill be coming back here.
They just make up prices as they go I asked for very short square nails . And the lady said 80$ + 30$ for gel so a Total of 110 $ lol you can tell she just came up with that in the moment .. they were sweet but definitely overpriced . I’ve never payed 110 for a basic full set
I booked an appt, through Snailz due to their 5 star rating, yet when I arrived they told me I the price had changed and I need to pay the additional surcharge per snailz. Very unprofessional!
I never write reviews, but this was the most uncomfortable experience of my life. Aside from making me bleed twice, they kept blatantly telling people to tip in cash and then told someone they had to tip 18-20% when they handed her money. I always tip over 20% anyway, and even though she made me bleed, this was really off-putting and uncomfortable and I felt like I had to give her more cash than I wanted to. Also, it is overpriced for acrylic nails, so when I told her I only wanted gel she flipped out and started screaming to the other girls who worked there. Stay away. They also try and scam you into paying more with random coats of polish. Dont fall for it. Just dont go.
I have been going here on and off for about two years. So the staff there is pretty familiar with me. My partner comes with me too sometimes, and when she does they always ask if she is my mother. We look nothing alike and shes older, but not old enough to look like my mother. Every time I have to tell them the same thing, its a bit annoying, but they are close to my apartment so I continue to go. As I previously mentioned, I go here often enough. I always provide a 20% tip. Yes, I mean always. This last time I went I was getting my eyebrows done. Upon finishing, I tipped the woman while we were still in the small room together, my usual 20%. I went up front paid for my service and proceeded to walk out. As I was walking out, the owner ( who is usually the one the one who calls my partner my mother) turns to me and says Tip, you didnt tip. You have to tip her. I was horrified this was in front other customers and she was not quiet when she was speaking. I reminded her I come her often and I did tip as I always do. I will not be going back.
DO NOT GET A POWDER MANICURE HERE!!! The whole point of powder manicures is to not use UV light, however they insist on doing so here. And whatever topcoat they use seems to be a gel topcoat completely defeating the point of a powder manicure. Less than three hours later and the topcoat that they used is peeling off. Additionally, their price, for an improperly done powder manicure was absurdly expensive. A severe waste of $60+ and my dinner break on a two show day.Their regular manicures however are great, especially if you get just a buff done but whatever you do dont get a powder manicure here.
I got just a simple manicure; nothing special but it was done well at a good price. Very conveniently located near Port Authority. I would go again.
I live 3 building from this place, they are friendly and they always do good manicure, I had a pedicure there ones only cause I have varicose veins and my feet were swallowing but I wanted my feet look pretty, my feet are always clean & since I went to other nail salons before & people always treat me well so I though that here will be the same but, the lady who attended me here was talking with the other workers in their Korean language & all of them kept talking & looking at me often the whole time that made me feel horrible, I felt insulted that all of them were talking and looking at me for ever. I hate when they talk in other language that not everybody understand, that’s disrespectful, so since it’s close home I went there for manicure only, to sad that I have to go to an other place where they will treat me better.
It has been four weeks since I visited this salon and had dip polish applied, and it is still beautiful! When I called at 7pm for a same day appointment, the owner said come over. I did and the salon was clean, techs were very nice, and I love my nails!!
When doing dip nails, they do not use the drill to mess up your nails- they take the time to do it right and very well! I’ve never had a bad experience, or a bad job here. Tip in cash, and tip well!
Rip off. In town visiting and wanted to give a local nail salon a chance instead of the resort spa. Heavily disgusted with the cleanliness of this salon. I paid 134$ for a poorly done gel acrylic fill. Gel is painted on very very poorly. She hand filed off my prior gel color. Didnt ask me what shape i wanted, and when i asked for her to square them off she continued to ROUND THEM OUT. DO NOT GO HERE. Go pay these high prices at somewhere who gives quality.
Just experienced a royal rip-off, be sure to ask for the price before hand. Charged me a ridiculous price for a color change ( full pedicure 29, was charged 20) and were extraordinarily rude to both my daughter and I. The service was 4 minutes and the salon was not clean. Would not recommend to anyone.
The only place I go to for my nails. Excellent service. Love my powder dip manicure - stays for 2 weeks plus. Affordable prices - especially for midtown location.
Staff was friendly but failed to inform of a very long wait time. I waited 45 minutes. The sanitation methods are also nonexistent. They don’t line their pedicure tubs with plastic. And their tools seems to be used back to back without being sanitized. I’m definitely worried about catching something.
The staff are very friendly and kind. This place is super comfortable and pampering. Gel nail polish is $40.. The only complaint I have is that my gel polish begun to raise the next day. Smh.
I was on vacation with my daughter and since this salon was close to our hotel we decided to try it out. Its only been a week a my nails are chipping. Ive been getting dip for over a year and never had something like this happen. And their color selection was VERY small. Like not even 10 choices. And when I was paying the woman taking my payment had the audacity to tell me what I wanted to tip wasnt enough! Next time we go to New York we most certainly wont be going back to them.
Very gently make my manicure. 18$ good. But no special price for both manicure plus pedicure.
Nice ladies inside, good service and very fast was in and out in 45 mins for gel mani and they have good technique
Wifey had her nails done there, commenting it was a nice place.
Good people good job mom came out happy on her bday!!
Did a fantastic job and they were very fast. Manicure and gel lack!
Great experience! Friendly, timely affordable.
I have literally never written a negative review in my life, but this was such a terrible experience that I just have to.This nail salon has NO clue how to do a powder gel manicure. I paid $50 (with a $10 tip) - $60 for a manicure that is supposed to last a month. It has already chipped - and that was after they had me return to fix a nail that they messed up and just filed over and made it look even worse. They were rude, and truly dont know how to do a powder manicure.Run away from this place.
Very friendly staff. Nail polish chipped off rather quickly, though.
Nice service! Nice staff!
I went for a last minute mani and pedi. They are pricey and I wouldnt normally spend that much for a mani and pedi. However, I do enjoy the service that I received. They were accommodating, pleasant and attentive. Thank you!
Best nail place in the City
Really expensive and the worst pedicure I’ve ever gotten. They made me put my feet in used water
Great service but pricey
Similar experience to all the comments.
