I have been working really hard to grow my nails so that I could have that fun pointy style. I came in today with a pretty wild color request, and OMG, it came out even better than I expected. Im just so happy! The salon is bright, cheery and very clean. The team that works there is warm, kind, and talented.I know that this color is going to last a while but Im already looking forward to my next visit.
Ask for Emma when you go for your pedicure and tip her nicely ☺️
I had an absolutely wonderful pedicure here yesterday and am still raving about it. I was visiting New York and picked this salon based on the other stellar reviews and was very happy that I did. It was very clean and all the tools were sterilized and individually wrapped so you knew they were fresh when they were used on you. I paid quite a bit more than I would have back home in Ontario (the exchange rate is brutal) but I decided to splurge on the Park Avenue Princess Pedicure since I was on vacation. It was so incredibly lavish and thorough it was definitely worth the price. I left feeling relaxed and papered and I cant stop looking down at how cute my toes look!
This nail salon is very clean and has the cutest interior. I feel safe because they know the dangers of Covid and take it seriously. I got a Japanese new gel manicure which is healthier and is so glossy with a radiant beautiful color. I will definitely be coming back here!!
Excellent service with a very clean and relaxing atmosphere!!
I used to like this place. Although expensive, they took care of you & is very sanitary. But this last experience was it for me. Overpriced spa pedicure treatment, had to ask to be cleaned deeper, toes are uneven and the polish job wasn’t great. I sat & dried for almost two hours & by the time i got home, the polish is already peeling off. Also I was cut very bad on my finger during the manicure i can still see blood inside of my nail. It looks like I did my own nails. I could’ve saved $75 if that was the case.Update: I emailed them & they told me to come back to do them over which they did but it was a huge inconvenience going all the way to the UES from Brooklyn.
The extra cost is totally worth it since the regular manicure I got here lasted almost two full weeks without chipping and my pedicure lasted even longer! Most other salons, you get a manicure and within the week, all of your nails are chipping, forcing you to spend the money again to get it redone. Not only is the quality great, but the salon is clean, the staff is friendly and you get a free drink while enjoying your pampering. I would highly recommend this salon and will definitely be going back soon.
Cute place and its non-toxic! Staff was extremely kind as well. No massage chairs for the pedicure but thats not a must have for me.
Clean salon. Manicurists open a new pack of tools for each patron. Also a calm atmosphere. Always a nice, mind-numbing movie on (with subtitles) for you to distract yourself while getting pampered. They offer a complementary drink (water, tea, coffee) as an added bonus.
Very nice. Nice selection. A bit pricey.
Pretty good manicure at very reasonable prices. They offer a variety of services and stock loads of fashion colors.
I love this place! The people are sooooo nice and always do an amazing job. Thank you so much 😊
I came and asked exactly that I need! Mani girl said the price, after she told me different price, of course more money! I hate this kind of service, than people try to make money this tricky way! Nobody asked me, if I want the water (and I 8 months pregnant). Manager didnt solve the problem, made me very upset and nervous, I left! Never come back!
I was very disappointed, I paid 80 dollars to get silk wrap nails. The technician took, and Im not exaggerating, over three and a half hours to complete the service. Within two days, TWO nails have already fallen off. A day later, I only had four left. I contacted the salon and asked for it to be fixed, they had me come in and I spent another 2 and 1/2 hours getting it re done- only for one of the jewels to fall off and ANOTHER nail to fall off a day later. Dont let this place fool you, they have ZERO idea what theyre doing, its a waste of your time and money. Go someplace else.
Worst in-fill Ive had in NYC. I paid a lot more than usual - $93. I dont mind paying more if I am getting better service and finished product, but I did not. My thumb chipped and broke the next morning. Its only been two weeks and the nail polish has already chipped and rubbed away very badly. In terms of service, I was not offered any kind of drink or massage. Thats normally not an issue. However, if Im paying $93, that is not okay. I will not be going back here, and will be advising others to avoid. As there are better and cheaper options on the UES.
Most professional and skilled pedi Ive ever had in Manhattan, bar none. Lovely, clean and quiet place. Definitely worth the price.
Stay Away --My two BFFs and I have been coming to the salon together every weekend for a few years. We have found a few good manicurists, and return despite the high price. We are NEVER going back, and you shouldnt either. The owner, Christine, continues to change the rules about making appointments: first, we couldnt have one person make our three appointments - despite having done that for years. We each had to call or come in separately to be added to the appointment book.Today was the last straw: we were told that the three of us could no longer come at the same time. Our only option was that two of us could go, and the third person had to start 30 minutes earlier or later. If we werent friends, we could have made individual appointments. It was that we were together that was a problem. There was no explanation given.NOTE: there are usually +/- 8 women working there and many mani+pedi stations - its a very large space by NYC standards. When three of us book together, there are at least 6 other technicians available to other clients. We come on time, tip very well, give holiday bonuses to our manicurists, and remain polite even when there are delays or switches due to their sloppy scheduling. This is a bad business practice and an insult to any clients who go there. Your appointment wont be kept, and if you want to come with a friend or relative on a regular basis, you are out of luck.Id stay away. There are hundreds of nail salons on the upper east side - and premium ones at that. WHY PAY EXTRA TO BE TREATED BADLY?
A little pricey but worth it for the clean, inviting environment and first class service.
Clean salon. Great selection of gels. Thorough without rushing.
My fave spot in the UES: clean and efficient. The girls are all nice and professional.
Amazing experience. .. very very relaxing :)...will be going back with guest! Love it!
Not worth it
