They have good service, the ladies were quite nice, but well overpriced. They charged $168 for a gel mani and gel pedi.

They do really nice work here. Jane has given me two manicures and they have both been really detailed and thoroughly enjoyable. The only reason I say four stars instead of five is because I feel they are a bit overpriced and will up-sell you on everything from polish, to a $20 for 10 min shoulder massage, to an additional charge for quick drying drops - which all seems excessive.

The older man that works there(i think one of the owners?) is rude and does not give good service. he made comments about my nails and how short they were(they were not that short, i keep them like that for sports) and blamed my nails on why it hurt while he was filing and clipping them. ive gotten my nails done here multiple times and ive gotten him twice and every time he does my nails really bad, uneven and crooked. besides him the ladies in the nail salon that do acrylic are wonderful and kind. salon is mostly clean. prices are good for the ones that know how to actually do nails. i would recommend this salon but if you get the older man with glasses i would request another tech if i were you.

After just three days of having my gel manicure done at JNJ my nails started chip. On the fourth day they started to fall off and eventually I had to go to another salon to get the rest removed. I find this quality of manicure to be ridiculous do to the fact I spent over 150 dollars on just a gel set, which is insane for a manicure that is nothing special. I could have gotten the same thing done for 40 dollars. Unfortunately I will not be returning to JNJ. Just because you are on Madison Ave does not mean you have to charge a fortune for a manicure.
