Best gel nails Ive gotten in the city, they last so long and the price is great. Plus theyre super nice and quick!

I came here to get my nails done 1/31 I paige $100.00 for gel pedicure and SNS powder nails. I gave a $10 tip ( I tip better when I am sure of the quality of the work) the owner a female said they do 15% tips can i do more. I said no. + a 5 dollar fee for tax. I paid $115 for service and my nails started chipping Wednesday 1/1. I went back Friday 1/3 the lady fixed 2 of my nails on my left hand the index and ring finger. Here it is Tuesday 1/7 and three other nails are chipped off. Im NEVER going back. This is a disgrace.

My all time fave nail spot in the city. Love to treat myself to a pedi and add a back massage - you won’t regret it! All the technicians are so sweet and do an amazing job. I always feel so pampered after leaving!

WORST MANI PEDI EVER! The manicurist just didn’t remove the cuticule AT ALL and manicure looked good just like for..2 hours. And the foot treatement..there was none! Never go there. It took her like 20 min to finish mani+pedi!! Extremely overpriced place with rude unproffessional staff. Though the place looks nice and gets 1 star for it!

I had a horrible experience 2 hours ago in this salon. Paid $ 75 for a revulsion manicure and a pedicure. Awful quality and service. Im very upset because I need to go to a serious event ... my hands and feet look dreadful

Worst nail experience I have ever had. I went in for a gel set with manicure. I asked if they had any walk-in availability and they said they did... I sat down and waited (which is no problem) and when I finally got someone to sit with me she didnt give me a proper manicure!!! She cut my nails without asking to absolutely nothing and didnt ask me the shape! The nail tech next to me literally used the same tools as the girl doing my nails on someone else without cleaning them.We get to gel polish and she slops it on. Its all over my finger right now on the sides and below my nails. Its not even up to the cuticles on some of my nails... I spent $40, which is nothing... But I still feel ripped off.Worst service of my life and that is saying something because I have had actual children do my nails. I wish I could give 0/5 stars.

Found this nail salon and have never looked back. My nails stay strong for weeks on end, I love receiving their massages, and the fact that theyre open late really helps with my late hours I sometimes have to put in. Great selection of colors, reasonably priced by Manhattan standards, and good service!

The negative reviews of this place really aren’t valid. This is a fantastic spot - great technicians and lots of polish options. It’s clean and friendly and inviting. Highly recommend!

Golden Tree is close to my business and convenient. They carry an impressive nail polish display and their nail technicians usually do a good job. The salon offers free massages. However, the masseuse are selective and often bypass patrons. I concluded that they are likely operating off of prejudgment and providing free massages to patrons who may be bigger tippers.

They were responsive when I asked them to clean up the cuticles and buried dirt more. They did a decent job. They stayed open later than their closing time. They did try to upgrade my services, but can’t blame them. But I did feel awkward when I got this sense they were upset about my tip ... which wasn’t that low at all... so I found a quarter in my wallet which seemed to make it adequate. Main thing I didn’t like. I saw this woman giving an awesome massage to someone while their nails were drying. Pretty admirable effort considering it was about 10 pm.

This place is great! hated seeing their rating so low, they do the best mani pedi massage package and you get free massages!

Stopped in at 8:30 PM was OUT by 9 PM with some GORGEOUS nails!!! Everyone there was so friendly and the massages WERE PERFECT. These women seriously work so hard, and have a smile on the entire time. I will 100% be coming back, amazing amazing amazing!!!!

The worst nail experience ever!! Went in for a fill in the fill in is completely uneven!!! It looks horrible. Tech didn’t even file or shape. Plus super over priced. Don’t waste your money!!! If I could give zero stars I would.

Awful mani/pedi. The woman kept trying to peddle additional services to me and when i stuck to the basic mani/pedi, she rushed through the whole thing in like 15 minutes, did a horrible job and then proceeded to bargain for a larger tip with me. Absolute and utter waste of time and money.

Nice for the pedi. For the gel mani, she didn’t put my fingers in the water to cut the cuticles. Interesting, she did it all dry, very fast, did the gel like 3 nails on one hand then 2 on the other etc, she was rushing... weird experience. The result is not that great. Good point in that salon are the free back massages while your having your nails done. Won’t go back there though.

I received a gel manicure and regular pedicure here about a week ago. One day after my polish was already lifting; I went back and the fixed it. That same nail began lifting again the next day. For the price ($55) my nails should last a lot longer. I’m assuming it’s the polish they’re using because I have NEVER had this issue when I get my nails done in the Bronx or Brooklyn. Guess I have to stick to what I know...

Service is wonderful, prices are great. Beautiful and clean space with a friendly staff.

Let me tell you something - Ive been trying new nail places for a YEAR in Manhattan and Brooklyn and this place is by far the best! They WAY cleaner than other salons (except I know they use the same nail buffers on everyone which is a big no no), theyre speedy, theyre nice (mostly), and theyre just about as costly as other places. $30 for a gel mani that lasts 3 weeks and doesnt chip? NEVER GOING ANYWHERE ELSE!

The manicurist I had was extremely rude. She did not thank me for the nice tip I gave her even though she did a poor manicure and pedicure. Her manicure was also extremely painful. The only reason I do not give this place zero stars is because once I went there and got a good manicure from someone named Mandy.

Staff friendly and massage great - but their gel manicure machines left an awful gel residue on each of my fingertips, and it felt terrible and frustrating for 3 full days - like my fingertips were as dry as sandpaper with no relief; neither buffing nor nail polish remover got it off - and I probably have another 3 days to go before it wears off. I called the manager to tell him, and he eventually apologized, but he reiterated that they clean them twice a week. Well, that may or may not be true, but they *gotta* try something else, because that is a very disappointing end to an otherwise pleasant experience, and I didnt get the impression that they would change anything on their end. Would have given them 4-5 stars if not for this part of it. So, maybe if you do go, just put something on your fingertips before you put them in their gel machines?? But prob better to go somewhere else - there are so many great little nail salons all over.

Love the service. Great prices. I can get my gel mani to last 3 weeks! Really enjoy Kelly, Anna and Danica.

I have been a loyal customer of golden tree for over 3 years. My family and I have given them constant business and I have become very fond of 2 of the employees. Last night I came across my second bad encounter with the owner Jenny. They do not believe in treating their long term customers with respect or appreciation for their consistent business.Yesterday after making an appointment for a mani/pedi, I showed up on time for my apt. After having my pedicure finished they had me wait for 20 minutes for a mani stand to become open. After getting up to see what was happening, I noticed that there were 4 open mani stands available and they had my nail specialist Karen move onto someone elses manicure. They made me wait for her to finish to then get my manicure. After confronting Jenny about this she was rude and told me my business did not matter and I could leave. I was absolutely astonished. Its a shame because the workers are very nice but do not blame my discussion to no longer come back.Because of the owner, I would leave a zero star if I had the option to.

5 star service on communication, relaxing atmosphere, cleanliness & massage.

The 1 star is for the cleanliness which attracted me to go inside. The manicure and the spa pedicure I got done was very average - nails are unevenly shaped now and I had to scrub my feet again when I got back home.I got a free back massage with the package which left me sore for 2 days after. I would NEVER go back there nor recommend this place to anyone.

Don’t go here. Spilled a whole bottle of acetone on my phone, dropped it and cracked the screen then screamed at me that it was my fault. Not worth it

Golden Tree is a NIGHTMARE! ALL The reviews here that say that the staff is EXTREMELY RUDE are correct! The manager/owner, whatwever that woman is at the front desk she is the WORST! And she doesnt care! DO NOT waste your money on this place! I arrived at 8:40pm and asked if they were open. The woman on the front desk said yes and asked me what I wanted to do. I asked for a simple mani-pedi. She told me to pick colors and another woman who didnt speak English tried to sell me extra services with the help of a printed menu. As soon as I refuse and say I wanted to do only the standard mani/pedi, they started rushing me to pay immediately because they close in 15 minutes. What??? If she had not started my pedicure I would have left that moment. After that it was pure disaster! The pedicure lasted 12 minutes. That! Only 12 minutes. It was literally half done. At the end, I paid 20%tip and the woman still looked at me like if she had received 10 cents. I hope at least that they sanitize those instruments. NY City sanitary officers should stop by that please some time!

I wish I could give 0 stars. This is the worst manicure/pedicure experience I’ve ever had. The lady who worked on me was rude and rushed through the entire thing. She also had an attitude when I asked her to take a little longer on some aspects of the experience (foot scrub, etc). On top of this, they told me one price at the door ($28) and then charged more ($36) when I only asked for a regular mani/pedi (did not ask for extra massage time, etc).They also kept nagging my friend and I about a tip. Her lady was a bit better but not by much- we were both pretty appalled by the end. Would not recommend going here.

Too pricey for the (poor) service delivered ....there are places around that do much more than they do and for far less money ...the end result was not very clean nor neat....the one star is for the ambiance .. will not waste my time on this place again....

Literally one of the most rude and unprofessional nail salons ive come across. they rush thru the services and SO unbelievable rude. they harass you for cash tips and the girl at the desk is completely clueless. its so clear they only care about getting money from customers and getting as many people in and out as possible. so many options in nyc for mani/pedis. do yourself a favor and find a quality one. cheap prices dont equal a deal with this awful gross place.

Service emtremly slow. 40 min waiting and pedicure and manicure an 1 hour??I asked for fast service so lady was rude and complaining in her language.Usually when I ask for fast service is 20 min.Unhappy

I EXPERIENCED REAL RACISM HERE JUST 20mins AGO.The one star goes to the cleanliness of the place.I am a black girl, and I walked in to nice greetings. Sat comfortably as this lady starts doing my pedicure. I then realized that she was rubbing my feet but scorning them. my feet were not dirty or smelly. After she scrubbed my feet for 30 seconds, she used the foot scrub to push my feet back in the water. Yes she did that twice.There were some other ladies before me, and she finished my feet before the other workers were done. After all this she was ready to do my mani and I told her never mind. I told her that I saw what she did. I didnt even want their free back massage.I always do mani pedi and never in my life was I treated this way.
