Had a great experience with a fabulous Hand and Foot Spa Manicure and Pedicure! It was easy making a last minute appointment! Very intimate setting and very nice and cozy feeling. It’s around the corner from the 1 Train- Christopher Street station. The staff was friendly and took their time. I highly recommend this place!
I won’t fault them for any of the comforts that are taken away because of Covid but for the same price to have the actual manicure not be great is unacceptable. I selected their brand of nail polish in deux and it dried so unpleasantly with deep ridges. A disappointment at any price but especially this price! I won’t say I’ll never go again but I will be trying a few other places in the neighborhood before I consider coming back.
Didnt even step foot in this place and already a terrible experience. Booked two pedicures a month in advance for my wife and I, both at the same exact time (11:45AM). They sent me a reminder the day before for one appointment at 11:00 and one at 11:45. I called letting them know that it was incorrect, I even received two email confirmations stating the correct times. They told me well you can just sit there and wait. LOL... no thanks! Cancelled the appointments and will never attempt to make one again.A blessing in disguise because we ended up booking at an amazing place called, tenoverten!
Just the best.
Great manicure! Kind and thorough technician. My nails havent looked this good in a while! Will be back!
Almost in tears. The night before I am to get married at city hall, I went to get my nails done and had one of the worst experiences.First, they reuse the same stick when waxing despite the price-point.Second, when it came to the nail art, she only put one coat and blamed my nail for still showing through when I pointed it out, even though it would only require one more layer to cover it up properly. Most egregious, I was told not to expect it to look like the nail art menu as that was computer generated and not on real nails.Third, worst of all, I showed on time for my appointment yet was rushed out and told my nails would try faster in the cold air rather than a fan in an effort to get me out the door as they were closing. If they were to close at a certain time, then they should have not accepted the appointment.Fourth, when it came to paying, they got upset that I didnt pay in cash even though there was nothing related to paying cash on their website. This was the final product; a far cry from what was advertised. These are the nails I have to have on my wedding day. Stay away. It used to be a high-quality place, but this is unacceptable.
Have been going here for years and never had a bad experience. They take their time and are very gentle. Much calmer atmosphere then most shops in the city. My polish lasts much longer then local places in Queens.
Wow. Called the East Village location because online booking was not working. Woman kept telling me to book online because she couldnt do it either. I kept explaining this was not working. She seemed supremely uninterested in getting the business, and wouldnt even write down my info. I gave up. So rude. If thats what the phone service is like, glad I skipped going.
Absolutely wonderful place! They take such good care of you. Best mani-pedi I’ve ever had. Also the setting is nice and serene. All around wonderful experience.
I only gave this place a 2 because of my nail tech. She was good to an extent, but my whole experience was awful. Ill continue to go to the Walker street location instead of dirty Jones with unhappy employees who dont truly care that I payed good money for a bad experience. I arrived early yesterday. I was the last app of the day. As I recieved my pedicure a mouse ran around. I told them and they laughed and did nothing. Im from nyc, originally the bronx, now mid town but they should have done something. Thats so disgusting and dirty. She finished the pedicure and hardly massaged the lotion. I was rushed out. I couldnt fully dry my pedicure as all employees had coats on staring at me in an obvious way. I told the tech I suppose ill take a taxi so my nails would remain in their plastic paper sheet so I could walk outside and not put my sneakers back on and ruin what I just payed which was $120 including her 20% tip. They wouldnt even wait for me to have my cab arrive so in the freezing cold with the paper slipper I stood on the street waiting shivery. I worked in the spa industry for 13 years. I would never ever treat my client like that. unreal. And the mouse. My job would have compt something but Im not ever going back. Walker street does it right. This place was a costly dump.
Pedicure is professionally done but the place is a bit less spacious than the one in TriBeCa. Staff are just as nice though :)
Very professional and clean. The ladies here are wonderful and did an amazing job.
A cozy, relaxing environment with great service.
Terrible...not only did the woman at the front desk even say hello she ignored me. Then when I said I was a walk in she said NO. And that was that. Definitely needs a dose of bedside manner.
Treatment was very rushed. I arrived early and they kept asking where my friend was so they could start with her treatment- who arrived on time. Service wasn’t friendly either.
Bad experience!!! Filthy and high priced
