I’ve been here a few times over the past couple years and only had good experiences. Lina is so attentive and nice, and I’ve never seen her or other staff treat other customers rudely. The space is clean and pleasant to be in, and the service is efficient yet thorough. I always get exactly what I ask for, whether it’s fancy holiday season nails or simple barely-there color, with high quality and for a fair price.

Was very displeased with the service I showed a picture of for a red Gel manicure with pink hearts.The manicurist agreed she could do it but she couldn’t. She’s was not an artist. She kept messing up and when I asked her to just do my nails regular she insisted on continuing even though the hearts looked bad. I was so annoyed after being there forever that I finally just told her the hearts looked okay so I could go.

Me and my mother went to get our nails done. I asked for coffin light brown nails and my mother asked for purple short coffin glitter nails. The lady never applied the glitter on my moms nails and my mother reminded her 3 times. I asked the lady to shape my nails better like thinner because they were getting too thick and she kept saying that we weren’t done yet and that I shouldn’t worry. My nails aren’t coffin shaped, they are so thick and not the shape I asked for. The lady had brought in 2 staff members so there were 3 workers in total and she kept getting calls about new appointments. We placed our appointment on their website so I wasn’t expecting to be rushed. I had 3 different people work on my nails and it took 2 hours. I don’t recommend going

The end result was what mattered. Woman who seemed to be the boss, tried to bamboozle me out of cash like i was a blue haired fool. Went originally with a groupon for a gel manicure. I asked if i could get my nails a little longer, she slaps a extra $20 ontop of the groupon which i was ok with. Then because my phone died, i couldnt show her the groupon so i paid cash. Then i changed my mind and just wanted regular gel mani and regular pedi. She charged me $55 plus tip (she was very naggy about the tip as if she deserved one harrasing me the way she was). That was until i saw a deal on the wall Gel mani and regualr pedi $45.00 and I asked her about that. She tried to deny that it was a deal and continued on about 55. Eventually i got get to give me the damn gel mani and pedi for 50 and $5 tip since she already had the $55 and she wanted a larger tip. She left me repeatedly to answer phones and I had to tell her off eventually. On the bright side, her co-workers were friendly and complimented my hair, I got to charge my phone and she did very good work on my nails. Its been a week already and no change so this will definitely last 2 weeks or more i feel. If you go in knowing what you want, and how much it costs everything else is pretty good about this place.

The location is clean, bright and smells delightful. The staff are thorough, polite, professional and courteous. I appreciate the complimentary hot green tea, it sets a relaxing tone. Nail Spa 33 have a loyalty card program. They also offer combo packages for manicures, pedicures and 10 minute(s) massages. If you us groupon, they also have groupon deals. Tip the staff they are nice.

I will never go back to that place and I will let everybody know about how poor Nail Spa 33 service is. My gel manicure is definitely not up to New York standards as it is a rushed and lack luster job. Do not count on the business owner to display any type of service oriented approach to your concerns as she would laugh in your face an ask you to go elsewhere!

Ive been here a few times and only one time did I have an issue with my gel manicure. I called and they fixed it for me which was the right thing to do. Sometimes this place can get busy and it seems like the mgr is all over the place and rushing. I would ask for Nellie or Angela if you do decide to go here...there good and they take there time!

Pros: Okay price, clean equipment, many colors in good shape, seated quickly on a Saturday afternoon as a walk-in with a friend. Theres a yelp check-in for an added foot massage (I cant comment on if they accept it)Cons: lackluster massaging, a lemon wedge rubbed on me that stung my skin, a constant upsell (do you want this/that/more?), and a massive chip in my toe polish after 1 day (usually lasts 2 weeks no problem). When I tipped, she said just X amount? which I didnt find so classy since the service throughout was a little mediocre and pushy.

Nail is not okay. The nail cutting is horrible. And the gel started to peel off on the tip the next day of the manicure. 😂 But be careful you will get a woman yelling at you if you just paid 10% tips. 🙄 Groupon gel tax is 3 dollar and regular gel tax is 2 dollar. It is only one dollar but sounds like a scam. Also regular gel is 35 dollar not as advertised 50 dollar on the Groupon. There is really minimum hand massage I got in the New York City. 😵 big no no to this nail spa.

Rushed experience, they didn’t give a good time line of expected wait and we waited 30 minute before being attended to.Manicures were sub par and not worth the money.

Not a big fan. They make you pay the taxes on the Groupon and then tip. The lady didnt even do everything I asked her to do.

The girl who did my nails was very nice, the old lady at the register was rude and obnoxious..

Worst experience, don’t go there! they let me wait for 90 minutes and served 4 people before me although they arrived after me.

Horrible customer service from the business owner who is by far the most unprofessional individual I have ever dealt with!! She did not honor the terms we agreed before I came. And she hurt me several times when she was doing my nails. I left the place bleeding!!

WORSE WORSE WORSE MANI/ PEDI I’VE EVEERRRR HAD ... my polish barely lasted the evening, she didn’t even really cut my Fingernail cuticules ... The “complimentary” foot massage with the Pedi was a joke ... it was more annoying to get than anything, not to mention that if I hadn’t asked for her to spend more than the 10 seconds she spent on cutting my cuticules, she wouldn’t have don’t it. Barely filed anything ... Half assed work . The girl was not even kind ... over all bad experience. Ugh I’m just really annoyed.

Love Lina and the girls, always so friendly and go the extra step to perfection!

Unbelievably rude staff, and gel manicure started chipping one day after. No wonder they were empty on a busy Friday afternoon.

This is my second visit and on both occasions my gel polish chipped right off on the second day.
