At first I was impressed on how detailed she clean my nails; trimming and shaping is good, cuticles removed impressive. But I am disappointed by the amount of powder has been applied to my nails, uneven distribution is very visible, the finish result is not smooth and flawless. Bumps and scratches on the nails are visible too. I tried this saloon because of the higher rate of Good reviews but it did not meet my expectations. Plus two of my nails has a different colors compared the rest due too errors during the process which I believed she can still achieved if she’s not in a hurry to end the Service. It’s disappointing to expect too much based on the reviews.Tips. They only accept tips on cash and if you don’t have cash they have atm that will charge you 3 dollars upon withdrawal.I still give 20% tips even though I’m not 100 percent happy and satisfied. Hopefully next time they do better. I’ll find another saloon who will meet my expectations next time.Update: From 3 stars to 2 stars. Because after 2 days one of the nails got chipped and cracked already. DipPowder nails supposed to be long last at least 3-4 weeks. I am very disappointed. Never again going back in this nail Saloon what a waste of time and money.

This place was clean and did a good job. I took my daughter and she wanted designs. This is not their strength. I would not suggest going here if you want something elaborate, fun or intricate. They are good for basic services. Their prices are a little high.

Nice clean place with friendly staff. The massage guy is amazing- he does have very strong hands as someone before me has mentioned. One word of caution is that if you are doing anything special be wary about pricing. They are not very transparent about pricing but I can tell you that regular manicure is $12. 15 min chair massage is $19.50. My design cost me an extra $16 plus $2 for the quick dry coat. Overall I had a pleasant experience.

Clean, professional and adhered to the Covid-19 safety regulations. The atmosphere was chill and relaxing and the staff and technicians were friendly. My nail tech was efficient and so talented. Will visit again soon.

The ladies are wonderful, they are really good and have never messed up on my nails, they really take their time to make it perfect. Also the inside is always so clean and luxurious. And they follow the best social distance rules in my opinion. Highly recommended.

I was incredibly disappointed by the service and quality of my nails. I got powder nails and the person who did mine kept shaving it down and making it shorter and shorter. She was also kinda rude when I asked her politely to stop making them shorter. The finished nails has a piece of hair dried into my nail with a ton of air bubbles

I travel monthly to different states, so I never know what to expect when getting my nails done. Lily did an excellent job on my dip nails and was very attention to detail. Prices were very reasonable for the quality.

Jenny and Eva are really excellent, talkative and professional. I only received a manicure today however I usually get the SNS Dip which is always great.

Chelsea Nails has been my go to nail salon for the last 18 years. The staff is AMAZING!! The salon is always clean and vibrant! Leo is the only technician that does my nails, but all the women are talented and does a fabulous job. When Leo is not in, I trust that any of the ladies will have my nails looking equally as great. During this Covid-19 pandemic the owner installed shields at each mail station, as well as rolling shields at the pedicure stations. The salon is always spotless, but the Chelsea Nails team upped the ante with disinfecting, on arrival temperature checks and hand sanitizer. Im rarely happy with the final result, because the shape isnt normally as perfect and the color doesnt dry, but today after leaving Chelsea Nails my nails are beautiful. Kim did a great job. I will be back.

This was my first visit here in need of pedi and massage. The whole atmosphere was relaxed with music and really comfortable chairs.Also, the massage guy did an amazing job. The back, neck and shoulder massage was firm but gentle, I fell asleep; wish I could stay all day. Will definitely return.

Simply put she is the best.Once you ascend the steep and tight staircase, an impeccable and immaculate second floor spa space welcomes you. All of the equipment appears ‘like-new’ and not a hodgepodge agglomeration of chairs, tables, carts and polish displays from salon liquididations of years gone by!The salon has oversized windows that provides sweeping mezzanine views of the bustling intersection of West 23rd Street and the Avenue of the Americas.Lastly, the staff was friendly and helpful and the business was clean and comfortable. My only gripe is the $47 price point for a man’s mani and pedi, feels a bit high - I neither received, required or requested any polish or clear cloat.Perhaps the inflated price is for the view...? Either way, Eva is the best.

Thoroughly impressed with this place! I came for the first time two weeks ago and I do not have one chip on my gel manicure. The staff was friendly and the facilities were clean. $35 for a gel mani is very reasonable, especially because it has lasted so long.I came in without an appointment on a Saturday evening before the holiday. I sat around for maybe 10 minutes before getting started. Back massage was amazing and would highly recommend for an extra treat. I will for sure be back.

I made an appointment for 2:30, arrived on time, and I wasn’t seen until 2:53. The pedicure lasted all of 12 minutes and was done haphazardly by someone who barely spoke any English. When I complained, the manager had the nerve to blame their tardiness on the pandemic —as though they had been caught by surprise by it a year after it started. Terrible service!

THE MASSAGES HERE!!! I’ve gotten very great manis and pedis here too, great attention to detail. But don’t leave until you get a massage. Their guys really know what they’re doing. I never write reviews for anyone let alone bad ones . But my experience here was not the best. Me and my husband walked in and for him a manicure pedicure, myself just a gel powder manicure. They proceeded to help me and did not bother to give him a second look i had to repeat that he too needed assistance. Then, my woman doing my nails kept touching them and they were all smudged apon leaving . Thirdly, my husbands woman asked for tip money from me while i was getting it she told me i need to tip her . Lastly two days after receiving my powder gel manicure they began to lift and come off. I do not recommend this place.

My girlfriend and I came up to the city to celebrate our 25th birthdays, this nail salon was a perfect pit stop! They were so sweet and their work was flawless! Not to mention they were fast! Great manicure and pedicure experience after randomly walking into Cheslea Nails. They also have taken added sanitary precautions on the massage chairs which also look very new and clean. I highly recommend this salon and will come back even though its further away than my old go to spot.

This place is the worse very bad customer services. Especially from this one manicurist Jenny.. she embarrassed me by asking me for more tip money.. and because I didnt oblige she did a horrible job on my nails. I paid $40 for a job that looked like my 5yrs niece did. I told the owner and nothing was done.. I will never go again.

I just started at a new job in the area and needed a new place to get my nails done. Chelsea Nails is a little hard to find (theyre on the second floor and signage isnt great outside) but once youre in the salon is nice and welcoming.I got a gel manicure, and was persuaded to get a 10 minute massage after the masseuse gave me the quick massage that comes with the mani. The mani & massage were great, reasonably priced, and in a convenient location -- Ill definitely be back!

DO NOT get tips, i’m mad now that I’m now reading the reviews now here since they were referred by a friend and I was in the area.Adam does a fantastic job at massages, he by himself definitely 5 stars however I went there for my birthday to get a manicure, pedicure, tips dipped in powder and I was completely disappointed when my nails refused to dry after then charged me for the quick dry which I they was happy to put on my bill but never mentioned a word to me about. So I have smudged nails and 4days later 1 nail broke, two days after a second. Lets not talk about over priced services if they don’t even last you a full week. During the process of shaping was ridiculous, I honestly do not think the person knew how to handle the nail and my broken nail is evident because my actual nail can be seen from the sides and is raised off the tips so anything can get stuck in there, I can go on and on🤦🏽‍♀️.....bottom line is my bday nails were ruined and I’m highly disappointed, esp since I was yelled at about forgetting to tip, which I had intended to but was so focused on my nail not drying. I honestly hope this through review helps. Unless they learn to do better I suggest finding good services for your money. Maybe they can do simple polish, or gel manicures, I can’t say but Adam is definitely great at massages!

Went in for a acrylic powder refill. with 2 broken nails . all nails have diffrent thickness and shape. for 70$!!! when asking about the shape she only looked down and said, it will look good, will never go back here!

Worst experience I ever had at a nail salon. Don’t even want to give one freaking star!!!The reason is every single time I asked her to do something she would get frustrated and say “no takes too much time” or “this will be extra”. Are you kidding me?!So I walked in wanting to fix one, just ONE of my powder with tip nails because I broke it accidentally while lifting weights. I ended up paying $35! Why such a high price for such a small task you might ask? She claimed she did a fill in. But all she did was add a glue top coat and file them down. No powder was used on each and every one of my nails. Only on my broken one. So I have no idea how that’s a fill in task.And listen to this, when she completed fixing my broken nail she asked me to go and pick a nail polish color. When I picked it she literally went ahead and painted my one nail! I looked at her puzzled and asked nicely can you use this color on this rest of my nails? She got frustrated and said “no takes too long.” I swear anyone would want the same color on all their nails. Am I right? Or am I stupid?! I argued back saying “um, I’d like them all to match please.” She said “this will be extra.” At this point I knew she really didn’t want to do this job at all and decided to take it out on me. I said “ok, that’s fine!” Seriously! I want them to match dammit!There’s a lot more of her saying no and it’s going to be extra but I’ll just save you all the time reading this.In the end, I asked for a quick dry top coat so that my nails dry faster before getting back to work. Guess what she said. You guessed it! She rolled her eyes and huffed and puffed saying “that’s going to be extra $3!!!” Everyone stared at her as she kept repeating this with frustration. I felt embarrassed for asking! I said “well last time Kim put a put a quick dry top coat for me without asking! She didn’t charge me! And she did a whole fill in (keep in mind that means adding powder to fill in the gap between the cuticles and nail polish from growing out, not glue top coat then filing down) all for $20!”I walked out not giving her even a penny of a tip!Not sure what I did to make you so frustrated but thanks so much for ruining the entire experience hun and embarrassing me for everytime I asked you something.

Great spot for a mani-pedi. Staff is really nice and helpful. Calm and relaxing way to spend a little me-time. Its upstairs so you wont see it from the street.

I went in for a UVgel refill and it was a very poor quality job at a very expensive price, the lady who attended me was very sweet but she did not know how to do this service. She kindly tried to fix what I asked but I soon realized it was a waist of time she didnt know how to. This is very upsetting as this was my only time this week to get them fixed . I wouldnthave mind paying the money if they were done correctly, and I had no time to have any other nail teck try to fix them. The manager was very polite and accommodating . I was really happy unfortunately somewhere during the course of my work day (hairdresser) one of my nails broke and I didnt even noticed. I was sad but I dont think it was anything jeny did wrong, more the fact that she had to work on the nails so much it probably just weekend the material. Any how Im giving them 4stars for being so willing to accommodate me and I would probably go back if Im in the area and in need of a fill and only if jeny is there.

I usually get a powder gel on my nails on Long Island which costs me $30. And Lasts close to a month. I got one here for $50 and only lasted a week and a half.
