A great barber shop in the UES! The staff is friendly, the service is quick and prices reasonable. I loved my haircut (side-shave) with Hilda, whos wonderful! Ill definitely be back here. What a gem!

George cut my hair all 7 years I lived in NYC, and he always left me looking my absolute best...I tell him, my wife fell in love with me because of his haircuts! In all seriousness, if youre in the area, dont go anywhere else. Become a regular here, George will memorize exactly how you love your hair and deliver every single time. I wouldnt have let anyone touch my hair except George, probably even if I had moved downtown or something, I wouldve taken the train just to make sure George could hook it up. The barber shop is newly renovated, no appointment needed and its open every day of the week except for Mondays. George (the owner and one of the barbers) is great, professional and a good guy. Terrific local barbershop on the UES that recently moved to a new location close to the old spot. Large, bright, clean with new chairs. They also perform watch and jewelry repairs. George has been cutting my hair the past few years and does a great job. Open late most days so you can get a cut after work. They also do womens cuts and hairstyling.

This guy is the best, he’s cutting my hair just the way I like and style I want... he’s amazing and professional.

Ive been maybe 5 times where they consistently give me a haircut that is way too short. Every time I explain more, to the point where the most drastic I will ever say is a tiny bit off when theyll still take at least 80-90% of the hair off, especially on the sides. The guy also takes so many creative liberties like creating a part in my hair (i didnt ask for that!!!!). I will never, ever go back. I keep giving them chances. No thank you I cant take it anymore.

Superb institution. I moved to UES in 2013 and have moved twice since, first thirty blocks south, now to uws, and still come here. Wouldn’t consider a switch. New location is also very nice. Clean well lit and improved facilities.
