I got thick hair that’s pretty corse and hard to deal with but with Joseph my fade is always on point And it blends perfectly with my top and beard! The man is Picasso with scissors and trimmer! I have been going to David for 7 years now and have always left completely satisfied, unlike when I have to get a haircut when I am out of town. For NYC, his prices are very reasonable. He also is highly skilled with both clippers and scissors which isnt always the case when you are looking to get a fade and keep it long up top. David and his team are excellent and I could not recommend them more.

Hardly even glanced at my hair or picture before he started chopping, and then tries to argue with me about how long my hair was when I walked in. I can’t believe it. Utterly incompetent. Don’t believe the 5 star reviews. Worst haircut of my life. They didn’t even offer to comp their blatant mistake.You know why there arent more negative reviews here? Because after hes been arrogant and didnt offer any way to make amends, he tries to buy you out of taking your review down. What a way to run a business.

Theres option of cash payment or through credit card. It is easily accessible and can be sighted whilst either walking or driving by. Please be ready to give tip - even though it is not compulsory.

I went here once before and the woman who cut my hair did a fantastic job. I paid with card and was upset to be told I couldn’t tip her through the card machine. I apologized and expressed my gratitude, then left. I came back the second time hoping for a similar experience. What I got instead was a sub-par haircut by someone who was doing things to my hair without asking me first. When I went to pay, David himself told me there was a card fee. Funny how there wasn’t one the first time. I was also able to tip through the machine this time. I was glad to be able to tip, but on top of the card fee was just annoying. I don’t appreciate being extorted. Go somewhere else.

Got a hot razor shave. Three hours later my face still hurt and bled plus there have been non-shaved spots everywhere so I had to shave those myself afterwards. Got back during lunch break to complain but he refused to give me my money back and instead told me if I come back for my money I could have come back for the non - shaved spots....While I was ashamed walking around public half shaved and bleeding he seemed to think this is normal when you are their customer. Never again!
