Booked up Islamabad. Return flight was cancelled for no reason even before my departure. No one called emailed or texted. BECAREFUL.Customer service was horrible. Flew Emirates instead.

I have dealt with Turkish airlines twice. The first time was in 2017 when I went to Turkey for a vacation and I did not have any issues as I booked my ticket online and ended up having a decent time while I was there. I went back to booking online with them in September, 2020 when I booked my ticket to Mogadishu and the transaction went smooth. The concerns I have begun when I called them a few days later to inquire whether I needed COVID PCR testing prior to entrance to Mogadishu and the agent said that you should ask your government. I was not sure what he meant by that since I am an American citizen. Did he mean the US or Somalia which is where I am from originally?!! I told him Turkish airlines flies almost daily to Mogadishu and he should have an idea about the regulations of the airport in Mogadishu but he hung up on me. I did not know what to make of that interaction and I had no idea how to get a hold of a Somali government rep that could answer my question. I ended up going to the airport on the set date and I was told by the Turkish airlines agent at the ticket counter that I can not fly to Mogadishu since I did not have evidence of a negative COVID PCR test and that I needed to change the ticket and take the test. I told him that about my previous interaction with their agent over the phone and after a back and forth argument, he let me board the plane without any testing. Nobody asked me for any evidence of a negative PCR test when I got to Mogadishu and I entered the country without any issues.I called them 5 days later to change my ticket and I was told by the customer service representative that I will be charged almost $700 for the date I wanted. I was taken off guard because I was used to a charge of $100-$200 or $300 max for changing an existing ticket. I told him that the price was unreasonable so he told me if I changed to a date that was 1 week later than my desired date, I would only be charged $15. I was again shocked because I was taken from one extreme to another. I felt something was not right but decided to go ahead and stick with the cheaper option despite the resulting delay and the inconvenience. I showed up on the set date and again the Turkish airlines agent told me that I can not fly because I did not have any evidence of a negative test. I asked him why I was allowed to board the flight that brought me to Mogadishu and why I was allowed to enter the country without any questions. He did not answer my questions and said that there was no way I was boarding the plane and I should go talk to their office which was located inside the airport to change my ticket. I rushed quickly to the office to find some sort of a solution. The agent that was present in the office said that the next flight would be in 2 days and it would cost $1000 to change the ticket. I asked if I could speak to his manager but the manager was very rude and refused to talk to me and pointed for me to go back to the agent. I ended up missing the flight, taking the test with negative results within 2 hours and booking with another airline and paying full charge for a new ticket to be able to leave on the same day. I still cant wrap my head around what has happened and it did cause me a great deal of distress.I am writing this review to see if people had similar issues with other airlines such as the extreme pricing and not being transparent with customers about country entry requirements regarding COVID. I am still very upset and have no plans on using Turkish airlines again.
I was trying to get to Europe by Turkish airlines and was hoping for good experience, but they changed my flight last minute two times, and made my connection as long as 32 hours, which is absolutely impossible. Second problem refund, nobody send me refund confirmation, and when I asked when Ill see my money it was in 7 day or longer . I think Ill have to open the case in the Bank.
Found a cheap flight with Turkish airline do not book it because its will become ridiculously expensive when you get to the airport, they will find a stupid reason for them to overcharge you at the airport And the manager is a lock dog all he does is bark and say no

Long story short, they broke stroller, I submitted claim and they responded that it was broken before flight. I attached photos of stroller right before flight where its clearly visible that its not broken and they gave me the same answer that it was broken before admittance to flight.They dont have any support over the phone or email in case of baggage claims, you are limited only to an very limited web page, where you usually wait for the same copy pasted answer for about an week.No one responds to your question they just say:thank you we are going to check thatwe checked, not our problemthank you we are going to check thatwe checked, not our problemthank you we are going to check thatwe checked, not our problemNothing works, going to go to their headquarter, will update my review after that.
Most amazing airlines in the universe!The smiles are contagious from all the staff. The food is first class both in taste and presentation. The service is beyond anything I have ever experienced. The price is unbeatable.We travel A LOT, various business class flights. We will do everything possible to travel Turkish business class everytime moving forward.Finally, somebody at Turkish Air reading this please give S. SERHAT on IST-JFK route a promotion or bonus. His smile and warmth seems to be permanently engraved on his face. He is the pinnacle of why we will be reforming again and again.FLY TURKISH!
They dont give full information on tickets!!!! I bought a round trip ticket from this company, one of them I chose non-refundable and I chose the second one with full refund. I paid 2800 dollars for the tickets for me and my wife. After, I had some urgent personal issues to cancel my return flight ( which was fully refundable and i paid 2000 dollars for that), but they say that The fare rules of the most restrictive flight are valid for cancellations and refund processes(I read all the fair rules before buying and there is no information on it). they send me this information with after I paid for my tickets. Now they dont want to refund my tickets. Ill never fly your company again!!!!

Stay away - No one speaks proper English! The airline refuses to send you the confirmation in English!True thieves - be very careful dealing with them they take Amex for ticket but for seat upgrade they don’t because the seat upgrade is a scam! They won’t upgrade you and they will only charge you for it. And later you can not complain because it’s a non refundable seat upgrade!
Terrible ! An agent from the call center changed my flights without my consent and even they agreed that was wrong they didn’t do anything about it ! Not even offer another flights or refund !
Definitely not recommended. There is a lack of responsibility in this company. This airline has no costumer service in case you have problem with your ticket or if you miss your flight. There was a delay in my flight which made ma and many people lost their second flight (both flight by Turkish airline). Turkish airline not only did not provide us any facility for the time that we had to spend in the airport but also they made us buy new tickets from them in order to reach to our destination. I will not travel with this airline anymore and I wont recommend it to anyone.
TuRkish Airlines was the best Ive ever flown- friendly gorgeous flight attendants, great food, amazing service and prices.... Whenever I can Im going to fly TA again.... Better by far than any other and worth the costs
Turkish Airlines iPhone app and their new web site is full of bugs and glitches and overcharges credit cards. I saw all inclusive price $874.86 but my card was charged $1132.86 instead. I sent them my iPhone screenshots showing $874.86 but their customer service is terrible and they did not refund the overcharge. Turkish Airlines has the worst customer service and the worst web site service I have ever seen.
By far one of the best airline experience on my recent trip to Italy and Istanbul. Great customer service, terrific food for an airline and warm hospitality throughout the trip. Third trip with Turkish Airlines and will be flying again.

Nice in plane service but horrible baggage experience with zero responsibility or responsiveness. Their website claims global standards but their words and actions do not match. If you are going on vacation pick another airline to avoid disruption to your family happiness unless you are not checking bags. Do not expect their will be any empathy or resolution. I am an experienced business traveler with full knowledge that even the best can fall short but this sub par performance is way beyond that and truly unacceptable. I have had my bags lost before as this can happen but never have I received such a complete lack of communication. Very Disappointed!

Worst flight experience of my life. Dirty, very hot airplane, disgusting toilets that were never cleaned over 13 hr flight and mountains of trash kept piling up. Very small meals leaves you starving by the end.
Bunch of crooks. the worst. Losthe my luggage and no one gets back to you and no answers the phone. Been 4 months trying to reach them but giving the run around. I have been in line with the call center of THY for 1 hour. There is no such disgrace. You cannot see an upper authority. A fee is requested for the ticket that we will replace instead of our canceled flight.We are writing the backup, every time we search, we get the answer, your name is not visible in reserve. In my last call, there is a place for the date we wrote in the backup, we get the answer, this time they say they can make paid changes. There can be no such conscience. I have not seen such a blindness and corruption in my life.You know how to sell tickets to unfortunate dates for months.
