I have been going here for 4 years. Ive only had two bad experiences. One was the tech didnt listen to me about wanting a French, dip manicure and did one solid color. I have a hard time relaxing my hands and the tech was definitely a bristly to begin with, she got so annoyed and frustrated so quickly that she just rushed the rest of the manicure and it made me tense up more. Overall I love this place, the techs, the atmosphere, and how quickly they usually get to me because I normally just walk in. Their prices are GREAT. They have their general prices on the door and do have a price menu if you ask.
Honestly I like how they do to pedicures, but I didnt like the fact that me and my child was getting a pedicure and they started with us, but as soon as a caucasian woman walked in they stopped working with my child and left him sitting in the water while his feet were like raisins. I said I wouldnt be back!!!!!@ Very disappointed!!!!!!!
Edit #2: I called and told them about the crack and they fixed it for me. They didnt charge me for the repair but they also did not get the color right. I might give them another chance, but I also may not. My original rating was five stars, then down to two, and now back up to four. It still wasnt a bad price or location and the people werent horrible. If you are in the area anyway, give it a try. But dont expect incredible service or results.EDIT: less than two weeks after getting my nails done, they chipped. My left index finger chipped and my left thumb has cracked. This is particularly irritating because I am right handed. I usually have this type of polish last 3-4 weeks and I have NEVER had it chip getting it done anywhere else. I will not be back. This place is pretty good! It is very relaxing (nice fountain) and the technicians do a good job. Communication can be a little tricky, but she did exactly what I wanted. The price is not unreasonable (I paid $45 for the dip. I dont know how much acrylic costs, but Gel is $35, and regular polish is $20. For an extra $5 you can get a manicure, with the hand massage and all that stuff.) but I have gotten this done at a similar or better quality for a lower price before, but not in Nashville. I came alone but made some new friends--the clientele are very nice people. I will be coming back!
A Party of three - 2 pedicures and 1 manicure. All disappointing - paid for services that was poorly executed. The manicure was request but what was recieved was an expensive nail.polishing. The pedicure you could visible see dry dead skin on the cuticles and toe nails not filed and left uneven.
Probably one of the best experiences i’ve ever had at a nail salon. I am from NC and I loved the cleanliness and just the whole feel of the salon itself! highly recommend. I got a deluxe pedicure and the sns/ dip manicure.
Great service
I found my new place to get my nails done. Quick service, excellent work and reasonable prices.
This is my favorite place to get my nails done. I drive over 30 minutes to go there because they do such a good job, even though there are a ton of nail salons within 5 minutes of my house! They are always so nice, and they make sure that my nails are perfect before I leave! They offer SNS and do a great job! Would recommend this nail salon to anyone!!
I really wanted to love this place, but unfortunately it ended up being a waste of my money. At first I was pleasantly surprised at the price- $35 for a gel manicure? Such a good price for Nashville. My friend and I were able to get in very quickly and our nail techs were very nice. Unfortunately my service was not so great. My nails were cut shorter than I would have liked (which isnt a huge deal) however a few of them were shaped slightly different from the others and I had a couple that were jagged on the ends. There is visible dust (I assume) particles and even some sort of black dot cured into my polish. There are multiple spots where the polish doesnt even cover my entire nail on the sides AND I left with two of my cuticles BLEEDING. It has only been 4 days since my service and the polish is lifting off of a few of my nails. Im not someone who normally can justify paying to get my nails done and I am very discouraged from getting them done again (which sucks because these were supposed to last at least a week for my wedding). Cute spot and good prices but I wont be returning.
I went last Friday asked for full set of acrylics. Girl said oh you will love the dip. And said wouldnt charge to put tips on.ummm well I should have said no and stayed with what I came in for. Less then one wk on and have had to spend including original charge over 60 bucks. Dip is not as strong as what I asked for. Not a happy camper wont be back though...
Love this place! Have been a regular for years. Theres rarely much of a wait to just walk in and they tend to do a very good job for not so high a price. The message chairs are definitely a favorite part!
Dont judge a book by its cover. The salon could definitely use a little change in decor but I loved my refill! The parking is very convenient and they also have a great selection on nail polish. They are open Mondays too which is a huge plus.
I used to come to this nail bar all the time with my nana and my grandmother, we were regulars. I came into to get a dip,French tip nail, which she told me would be possible. When she continued to do my nails, she was pushing the white long further and further down my nails, which made me look like I had grandma hands and aged my hands in general. I asked her to put gel on top instead, and file it down but you could see the French tip through the gel and it became thick. After leaving unhappy, hours before, I came back because I receive numerous horrible comments about my nails. I asked her to just remove them and she said she “It’s not my fault” yet I specifically asked my nails be done a certain way. Won’t be back ever again.
Went in for a fill last night and the man who prepped my nails absolutely destroyed them. He burned me with the drill multiple times. I asked him several times to turn the drill down because he had it turned up way too high and was using a metal bit on my bare nail (this is a big no) and he straight up ignored me and wouldnt turn it down. By the time he was done I had huge gouges in my nail bed that have almost penetrated through the nail. I complained and asked to just have the nails removed because I was worried about more drilling and instead I walked out with no apology and a full-price dip manicure (from a different tech) which is lifting up around most of the edges not even 24 hours later because they got it all over my cuticles and up under my nails. Never ever going near this place again.
I will NEVER go back.I came in for a dip manicure and the women attending to me asked if I wanted tips. When I said yes, her tune changed and the rest of my experience was horrible. She never filed my nails nor did she clean my cuticles up. I asked her if she could and she told me it was not apart of that service and it would cost me $5 more. I agreed to paying the extra $5 and she NEVER did them.Throughout the manicure, she mumbled under her breath and at the end she never let me wash the dust from the acrylic off my hands and she never put lotion on them. Not only was the service horrible, but my nails were ugly. I have had dip several times and they have never looked like this. Needless to say, please dont waste your money here. I paid $80 for a horrible manicure and a descent pedicure. That reminds me .... they dont have a price menu, therefore they can charge you what they want
I came by to get my toenails done on yesterday. During the process, I had to tell the nail tech to change the gloves that she put on while working at the register and proceeded to touch me with and to not place the “sterile” instruments on the chairs that the nail techs sit in with no barrier protection.I watched her put approximately 8 coats of un-uniformed nail polish on my toes. Within 2 hours they were messed up. I returned to have them repaired and waited 30 minutes for them to dry. When I got in bed approximately 6 hours after my nails were done, I awoke this morning to my nails being stuck to the sheet.I contacted the shop and asked to speak to a manager. I was told to return and they would be fixed. When I returned I expressed that this was my third trip and that the polish was too thick. She proceeded to tell me that I needed to wait for it to fully dry. I informed her that I just wanted to have the polish removed and be refunded. Literally, the polish is so thick that it looks like I have a nail on top of my nail and like my 2 year old cousin did it. She even had the nerve to blow on my feet, which completely grossed me out.Save your money and go to a safer and better quality shop. This place is a lawsuit or infection waiting to happen.
Terrible job on my gel nails! Full price, half effort. Laid on the thick accent like she didnt understand what I wanted. Answered the phone constantly and took 50% longer than my friend getting the same gel dips. (And accent wasnt nearly as strong on the phone). Has changed salon name several times. Outcome: completely wrong color than requested (claimed samples were old and faded). Lumpy, thick and ugly all square nails I will be taking off today! Would NOT recommend A plus..give the an F-. Social grace---? NOT even close! Should get my money back!!! Attached photo of the WORST nails in the history of nails. I would go back, but I live in FL and have left Tenn.
The staff here are friendly and professional - loved the high top manicure station, and my gel polish turned out beautifully - 2 weeks later and it still looks great!
Worst nail job I ever had done. Nails filed uneven. Not the color I picked out. Don’t go there expecting great service. Did not trim my cuticles
I just left social graces nail bar and my nails look worse than they did when I came in. It was clear they were rushed and did not care to take the time to do them right. The woman who did them was rough and not careful, and did not bother to clean my cuticles or my finished nails. I’m leaving with bumpy, uneven nails and a new view on Social Grace.
Quality has gone down hill. Was my normal go to place but the last few times they have cut me either during a pedi or mani. Recently my toe was cut so bad I can’t wear certain shoes. Was told my pedi was dry, left and it clearly was not and got completely messed up to where I had to go to a different salon to get an entire color change.
Awesome experience, well skilled staff-I recommend everyone get there manicure done here-best shop Ive been to!!!
Did a lovely job quickly which is what I wanted.
They were amazing did a great job and were kind and accomodating
They are very consistant
Pedicure. Nice enough customer service but they had a problem running my cc and I had to tell them ( it took two of the techs) the expiration date. I understood why when I got home and put on MY glasses. What a lumpy mess of polish on my toes! Ladies, please go so an eye doc.
I ask if there was a wait and they said no and I was put in a pedicure chair..waiting for 25 minutes. The chairs are very hard, old and worn out. I have a bad back and it was aching pretty bad by the time I left. They do not use the sanitary liners that you would expect in a high end area. When someone did finally arrive to do my pedicure they brought a basket with dirty tools in in, when I say dirty I mean DIRTY as in WET GLOBS of EXFOLIATED SKIN still all over the exfoliating metal TOOL that looks like a cheese grater and the purple pumice stone. The clippers & other tools were in a sanitary bag, so I’m hoping they were clean. I was thinking I should probably leave at this point, but as I was contemplating how to get my feet dried off, (happened to also be like 5 degrees out that day so i surely didn’t want to leave with wet feet) the lady working on someone beside me seen my disgust as she seen me starring at the tool basket in shock, she told the pedicure tech (which couldn’t even speak english) to go get new tools so he did. I did stay for the pedicure, ended up taking an hour and half and was the worst pedicure I’ve ever gotten, it was a complete waste of money! The guy was obviously not very experienced he exfoliated with very strong pressure while using the metal exfoliated, I had to ask him to lighten up, then he ran the purple stone across one time each way, seriously a terrible job exfoliating my feet. Save your $$$$$$
Very friendly, good service. Ill be back.
(((())))((((()))))Love this place - favorite nail salon of I !! The atmosphere is awesome and the staff are all great. Have never had a bad experience here or anything negative to say.((((()))))((((()))))
Amazing customer service! Beautiful and tranquil atmosphere.
Very rude staff- didn’t shape the nails the way I asked or cut them the correct length. When I went back and asked them to fix it, they cut them quickly- chipping the polish- and then said “that okay?” I will not be back.
Great pedicures and relaxing environment
OMG Service guys is so cute
Worse place ever, toes messed up before I even left the chair said she could do ombré and it’s looks horrible said she couldn’t shape my nails how I wanted them after she already started
This was the worst place Ive ever been too! They chopped off half Ginny eyebrow and the person was distracted by her co workers the whole time 10/10 wouldnt recommend!!!!
The best
Great experience!
Quick, attentive, professional
When I arrived the owner/manager was sitting on the sofa on her phone. She barely looked up. Pick out your color was a all she said. The nail polish they have is old. I was looking for a specific color they said they had it but I just had to keep looking. The woman on the sofa never tried to help. An older woman, she said she was 87, was in the pedicure chair drying. When it was time for her to leave, NO ONE helped her. She needed help getting up and out of the chair. She had a cane. The girl on the sofa just kept texting. The man who did my nails was very nice. He also did a nice job. However, the station was so dirty. He was about to use clippers that were rusted. I said do you have any more. He had to look through several to find some that we not totally rusted inside. The countertops, vases on the wall, stations are all so dirty. Again, the man who did my nails did a nice job but due to the lack of professionalism by the two women there, the filthy conditions and instruments that were very rusted I will not go back.
