Loved everything from the music selection all the way down to the hand massage. The staff there were really kind, especially the one who gave her umbrella to a homeless person in need during my visit. My nail tech Denise, is probably the best nail tech I’ve ever had! She really cares about her craft and she’s very personable. Will definitely be back!

I cannot say enough good things about Eastside nails. Not only are the women who work here exceptionally talented, but they are also kind, welcoming, and hilarious. The quality of the gel manicure is SO consistent. You will never leave dissatisfied with the work theyve done. Several of the women there too are talented nail artists, so if you want something unique or special, this is the place to go. I have often told the women there that sometimes Ill look for a design on the internet and then decide I should just let them create something unique because what they do is often way better than what you can find online.You have a lot of options for where to get your nails done (and trust me, Ive been to many of the places in Nashville), but you wont get a better quality manicure anywhere else.Make sure to make an appointment online, and you wont regret it!
Absolutely LOVE Eastside nails. Its the only place Ill get my nails done in Nashville. Every time I come, I get my entire life... and my nails done 😊 All the girls are wonderful (and skilled). Unique nail art is their jam. The salon only specializes in natural nails, so dont come expecting to get acrylics or tips. If you have COVID concerns, its a small shop and only a few people are in at a time. Everything is thoroughly cleaned and sanitized and all staff and patrons must wear masks.
Friendly staff and accommodating when I asked my mani and pedi be done together, but the nails themselves were not done well. Cuticles were not done well, extra polish on my fingers, smudges in the polish, nails not filed evenly. I appreciated the friendly staff, but the quality was not good.
I booked an appt for 4th of July & was v impressed by the level of service as well as how long my gel nails have lasted! I also got a pedicure but even after 3 weeks they both look fairly decent -- far better than I would have expected, and better after 3 weeks that Ive would have seen from anywhere else after almost a decade of experience with gel nails. Would highly recommend and will definitely return. Its also a Black/women-owned business, which I found to be a happy coincidence as well:)
This place was an amazing find! Their Tuesday $25 gel special is great, but $35 for a gel manicure other days is still reasonable compared to other salons around here. I have been going here for a few months now and will not go anywhere else! The quality is great, the women who work here are friendly and knowledgeable, and my nails always turn out perfect and last!!

I’ve been to Denise several times and I plan to keep coming back to her. Tuesday $25 gels is amazing, although their regular gel price is $35 which is also great. I’ve never had an issue with my manicure, no early chipping or peeling. My nails are in the best shape of my life since coming here regularly. This shop is just north of being no frills but I’m down for that considering the price and the quality of work. The women that work here are great - conversation and overall vibe are so comfortable. Denise is quiet but she will tell you that’s just because she’s really focused on doing her best, and I’m not necessarily into small talk in this kind of situation so that’s perfect for me. The employees are usually engaged in fun and hilarious banter that I’ll chime in on. Final point: this is a locally owned + POC owned shop, which makes me feel great about continuing to spend my money here.
I walked in without an appointment and they were able to fit me in. They were so nice! Plus, I got an amazing manicure. Will definitely recommend to anyone in the area looking for a good service!
I never liked getting gel manicures because they never seemed to last more than about a week when I went to other mediocre nail salons. Well, lets say the nail techs here dont take short cuts and they do work with integrity which is rare in the beauty industry. Ive visited twice for a gel manicure, done once by Jamie and once by Carson, and they both lasted about 2 weeks. The techs are talented and make sure you are pleased. Wont be going anywhere else.

The best of the best nails in Nashville. I am so grateful to have Eastside Nails in my neighborhood. All the technicians are easy to talk to, super skilled, and truly excited to give you nails you will love. My gel manicures here easily last 3 weeks or longer looking great, and their nail art is astounding. Theyre always up on the latest cool stuff in nails - pic is of a recent chrome mani, so fun!Even better, this shop cares about the Nashville community. The owner, Michelle, has graciously given her time and energy to be part of a benefit for local girls I help put on every year.One last note: This is an appointment-based salon (which I personally love). Any reviews about not being able to get a walk-in appointment are sort of missing the point there. ;)
This place is great! Not like those other nail places where they rush you in and rush you out. If your appointment is for an hour, it will be for the full hour. They offer complimentary wine or water and very gentle with the feet. I took my boyfriend here for his first pedicure and he loved it.
The whole experience was fantastic! My daughter told me about it & it is everything she said it was. Nicole did a fabulous job!

Stacey hooked me up with the squared off deep chocolate nails I requested. No gel, au natural....they’re a well manicured nail with some beautiful polish on them. Couldn’t be happier. I’ll be back, for certain.
Im not typically one to write negative reviews, but my experience getting a pedicure here was SO BIZARRE that I feel obliged to share. It was my first time there, so I did not know who my appointment was with, and there was an awkward auctioning moment / everyone was pretty apathetic to figuring out who my appointment was with. When the girl realized I was her appointment, she didnt say hi or greet me or say much of anything, just started getting the pedicure station together. Once I sat down and she had the water going, she said to soak my feet and she had to run to the bathroom. She was gone for a literal 20 minutes. Then, a few minutes into her starting the pedicure, her phone buzzed in her pocket and she answered it. She put my foot back in the water and I just sat there while she talked on the phone. The rest of the time was awkward as she was just quiet, made comments with the workers around here, and made huffs-and-puffs like I was burden to her. Then another moment in the middle of the pedicure, she got up and walked over to the girl who appeared to be a manager, and they walked out the front door, had a conversation, then she came back in, and finished the pedicure. Who does that? Maybe the girl was just having a bad day, but I was overly nice, and the tone and atmosphere of the whole place was just so awkward – I watched multiple other girls getting manicures and no one talking the whole time, the workers were more concerned with talking to each other or just being silent. I dont really care too much about being super talkative when getting my nails done, but the whole experience and every interaction from the beginning to during to the bugs flying all around my feet and the water to the end just made me feel awkward, uncomfortable, and the the environment was unkind, rude, and very unprofessional. Will not return.

The girl doing my nail girl was very friendly and the price on Tuesdays is very reasonable, however my gel only lasted less than 5 days (it usually lasts up to 2 weeks) so I was quite disappointed with that. I prefer to pay more and have my gel last longer.

Made an appointment for a mani/pedi online and put in the notes that I wanted a new acrylic set. It wasn’t until I arrived for my appointment that they told me they don’t do acrylics :-( I got my pedicure anyway because of the non-cancellation policy (I would’ve been charged for it anyway). The pedicure was lovely, but I wish there was more flexibility here and better communication. I never heard of a nail place not doing acrylics, and it’s fine that they don’t, I just wish this were communicated to me prior to only two days before my wedding day when I’m already standing in the nail salon. If you don’t want acrylics, I highly recommend coming here but please be sure not to book an appointment if you want acrylics!

By far the best nail salon in Nashville. I almost didnt want to post this, because its so great and I already struggle to get appointments. No walk ins, but they schedule an entire block for you. That means no waiting or feeling like your technician is rushing. I couldnt say enough great things about this place and their staff.

Ive been a customer here almost since it opened, having a mani/pedi about twice a month for about 2 years. When Im served by a tech who hasnt served me before, I usually have to show the tech how to clip my nails (I play guitar). Just got a vm from them about my appointment this afternoon, stating that because I did so last time, they will no longer be able to serve me, claiming that my doing so is a liability. Well, considering that the two best techs I saw there are gone, and the last ones gel manicure chipped after 2 days (and my thumbnail split down the middle, which I specifically warned her about, but she took off too much nail thickness while buffing with a coarse file), I was thinking of todays appointment as their last chance. Sorry, Michelle. I really enjoyed your salon.... for a while.UPDATE: Unfortunately, Michelle, the tone of your response is quite rude considering the loyalty -- and referrals -- Ive given you. Happy to take my business elsewhere.
Great experience. Small shop, everyone was friendly but not overly so; I didnt feel like I had to make small talk the entire time, but my nail tech made good convo when it felt natural. And she did a BEAUTIFUL gel mani for me, helped me pick a gorgeous fall red. She paid great attention to detail, and Im one of those freaks who goes home and stares at a new mani for like an hour looking for tiny mistakes. I had the amazing Jamie, but I watched two other nail techs do pedis while I was getting mine done and they both looked equally flawless to mine. Also Jamie made a natural sugar scrub for the pedicure that smelled like heaven and worked great, my feet feel great. 10/10 from a picky customer, make and appointment!!

I booked the wrong date online after hours and tried to call/email immediately to fix my error. Obviously I wasn’t able to get ahold of them until they opened the next morning. They very rudely stood by their 24-hour policy (even though I had booked without 24 hours), refused to accommodate my change in schedule, and charged me in full. Very badly run small business.

Walked in and there were 5 techs with no customers and said they couldnt fit my friend and I in with no explanation. The place is super tiny and cramped. No massage chairs and from what I saw, very limited color selection.
