The quality of the artistry here is misleading. I thought based on the pictures posted, this would be a good place to try. My nails turned out horrible. The technician would use his fingers to wipe of nail polish when he would make a mistake, which then caused nail polish to be left at the bottom of my nails. The color choices and the application of the polish were just not good. I won’t be going back. I attached what I got vs what I asked for. I didn’t want to come across like I was trying to get out of paying, so I just paid and left. They seemed nice and the salon was clean. It just wasn’t a good job.

I came across VIP nails after searching for a nail salon that could accommodate a party of 5-7 to celebrate one of my best friend’s Birthday. VIP nails had excellent reviews so I made a reservation. When we arrived the staff greeted us with a friendly welcome and we were seated in the pedicure chairs pretty quickly. The salon itself is decorated beautifully and is very clean. The foot bowl in each pedicure chair is covered with a disposable plastic bag and there is a plastic shield hanging down to cover your face. Christina did my pedicure & she was excellent! I highly recommend this salon & will definitely visit again.

The owner was the one who did my nails. He literally made my middle finger swollen and bleed. It was BLEEDING. I complained saying it hurts and it burns (since he was using chemicals on top of it) he laughs and says “are you acting like this because you want a free service) my finger was BLEEDING. At check out he offers no discounts and when I complained he told me to go get a lawyer and sue him. This is so unprofessional and unsanitary I could literally catch a incurable disease from blood. And he didn’t even clean the tools that made me bleed with it and put it away.

The establishment was very clean and they were observant of the CDC covid guidelines. I felt very safe and relaxed. The young woman doing my pedicure was so kind and personable. She took her time with my pedicure and my toes/feet looked amazing after it was all done. I will definitely be going back to have this done again.

I love love love this nail salon. I only go to this salon, I refuse to go anywhere else and I live 30 minutes. That should tell you something. They are very professional and do great work. The people there really take their time with you and I love it. The person I had is Hot Boy Loi lol he is a funny guy and he does great work with your nails. I will for sure see him every time I go back. I absolutely love this place!

Every time I go, the quality of service is different. First, I’m never greeted upon entering. Secondly, I’m unsure if different staff use different techniques, but it’s never the same procedures and I get the same pedicure each time. However, this last time I upgraded just to see if the service would improve, but sadly it did not. Third, I had to wait with my feet in cold water until someone was available. They didn’t even have water to drink. I tip anyway, but I’m only willing to pay more than the expected tip for good quality. Perhaps, it’s lack of skill. If so, I hope it improves for future customers. I wish I could keep using this place because it’s local but I’d rather drive further for consistent, quality service.

This is the most misshapen and poor quality pedicure I’ve ever gotten, learned my lesson the hard way and will not be back. They charged me $95 total with tip it was $115 that I paid only to have these look like this after 4 days7 hours later update: I wore socks for 4 hours and my right big toenail shattered!! That’s the 3rd photo. I’ve had these for a total of 6 days now. My last pedicure from another spot was high quality and cheaper so yea I do not recommend.

I really wish I could give them half of a star here. Went there with my friend. The idea of going together is not to get split up? The staff is mega unprofessional and extremely rude. My toe nails didn’t get a protective topping and weren’t dry. On my hands tho the nails polish started coming off straight away. The Girls were not to happy to get it sorted and really rushed to get us out of the place. Still they demanded the full price. After an argument they reduced it and told to never come back again because my friend asked for a protective coating. I am really unhappy. Also the staff will talk rude things and inappropriate comments in other languages (which I happen to know because of my ethnicity). Avoid at all cost.

Usually a great experience when i go. Depends on who does your services tho. Before i left the chair my toe nails were dry but one chipped as i checked them. I tried to show the tech but they didnt bother to check if they dried themselves. So i paid and walked out with a fresh set of chipped toenail. Dry Fresh polish shouldnt chip that easy and why not check to see if they dried correctly?

Short Review: I won’t be going back- the service was subpar on all fronts. However, I appreciated that the owner called and offered to re-do my nails for free after leaving a private review about my experience. I didn’t take him up on that because I rarely get time to get my nails done at all so I will just go somewhere else next time.Long version: I called the day before asking if I could make an appointment for the next day and was told to come in between 10:30 and 11:00, I called at 10:45 asking if it was still a good time to come in and they said to wait 20 min, so I waited 20 min and came in. I wasn’t greeted at the front or acknowledged for ~5 min. Once I was seated, I waited for another 45 min after arriving to have someone sit down with me. I had one woman work on my cuticles on one hand and then she passed me off to a man. I got a gel manicure and received 1/2 of the services listed in the manicure description. After getting my nails buffed the dust wasn’t wiped off (not with a brush, finger, water, nothing) before the polish was applied. So, after two coats of gel the polish was bumpy and pretty awful looking. I pointed it out and he put another two coats on so the bumpiness kind of went away. However, at the end it was super thick and peeled 2 days after getting them (I was really careful with them too because I wanted them to last for an event I was going to 1.5 weeks later). At the end I paid and walked out only to see that there was nail polish residue on almost all of my fingers so I walked back in and had them remove it. one positive was that the owner called me after I left a private review and offered to re-do my nails for free which I didn’t take him up on because I rarely have time to get my nails done and didn’t have time to go back.

I wasn’t sure what to expect since I don’t go often to get my nails done. I wanted something relatively simple - mani pedi. The one who did my feet was wonderful. No complaints. The two who rushed my mani get the one star review. They didn’t do anything part of the package and let me leave with puffy red burning cuticles, nail polish on my finger tips, lints and hair in my nail polish, lumpy and not remotely similar shape nails, and a horrific paint job. Having to go get it fix some place else. Won’t be back. Super unhappy.

My friend and I get there at about 4:50 for our appointment. We were not greeted for at least 10 minutes and it was not crowded. When they finally got us to the pedicure chairs, we sat another 10 to 15 minutes. Finally someone came and ran water in the bowls and left again. They didnt put anything in the water and didnt tell us to put our feet in but we did anyway. We sat for another 20 minutes and the water was cold. Long story short we dried our feet and left. The worse experience ever. Will never return or send anyone there.

Over the last three years, this has been my favorite nail salon in Nashville. I bring my family and friends here too. The atmosphere is beautiful! The owners are great and their employees are talented. The music that plays is not tasteful for everyone, but there are too many other pros to focus on one negative that is not applicable to everyone.

Much better than a lot of the nail salons Ive been too since moving to Tennessee. And they are used to a diversified clientele.

First time visiting this site called Vip Nail Spa and Ive done paid $55 for a full set white tip only and not mentioned before the service that they charge xtra for the length which my length is a medium and not long. I done went back literally like 3 times because my nails had bubbles in them plus my nails had few more filling to do. I dont think I will be returning back because of how I was being treated and I felt like they over charged me since they find out it was my first time at this location. This is my reason why I like to shop around because of stuff like this and I work too hard for mines.

This was the shortest service I have ever had. Barely even scrubbed the bottom of my feet. They are still ruff to the touch. Only used one warm towel to cover both legs and feet at the same time! That has never happened! A kid in the salon coughed the whole time I was there. He belonged to one of the staff present at the shop.

My daughter and I went to have pedicures last week. The lady did great with my daughters service. Mine on the other hand was horrible. The man was rough, preoccupied by his phone and seemed to be in a hurry... My gel polish started peeling the next day and I had sore places on my toes from the nail file. My gel polish is so sloppy and uneven.

Nails still look beautiful after 2 weeks. I love my nails! Recommend this nail salon for dip manicure.

So I got my eyebrows done and the guy kept dipping the same stick in the wax. That’s a number one no no when getting your license NEVER DOUBLE DIP ! So if he did that with me ain’t no telling how many times in a day he is doing that and didn’t dump the wax when I got up. Then the lady who did my nails OMG her nails were so dang dirty . It was just so much black stuff under her nail

This nail shop is absolutely beautiful but what happens when you actually want service? You wait, people seated after you get service first because only certain people do certain things. I decided to get my daughters nails done for the first time and she wanted me to get mine done as well, sadly that didn’t happen. She walked out disappointed because they were too busy to care, we are gonna relive this moment at a different nail shop when she needs a fill.

I went to VIP Nails for Pedicure and gel manicure. I was told when the tech finished to come back if they peel before two weeks and they would fix them.My nails were peeling by the next day! I was out of town so I could not go back right away. I went back 9 days after my initial visit and they said they would repair one nail that now had no polish. Most of my nails were peeling or lifting...not to mention I had one repaied while I was out of town. They said had I come back within the week they would have fixed them. I have never had a worst gel manicure. Not to mention all the polish on my toes is gone too. Do not go to this place.. If I could give zero stars I would.

I came here probably around when they were about to close, and a guy named Loi took me to do my nails and pedicure. It was the best decision I made because this is the best salon by far I’ve ever went to. He took his time to do my nails. Never rushed the process. He offered me wine and suggested good deals and pricings with me. On top of that he had a great personality, I felt welcomed and I will definitely be back here again! Xoxo

I come here for my ombré nails, pedicures, and brow wax & tint. I am very picky about my nails and brows but Kristina does an absolutely amazing job with both! It’s such a friendly and clean atmosphere. I wouldn’t go anywhere else! She is an fully licensed aesthetcian as well and does microblading and facials. I was a Director if Medispa’s for many years & a waxing studio and I know quality work. It’s a great place & great prices as well!

If I could give this zero stars, I would. Never have I ever waited THREE hours for a mani pedi until this salon. It wasn’t very clean, I waited with cold water and a cold towel until someone came along that actually knew how to do gel paint. I think there’s literally only 2 people that know how to do DIP nails in the whole salon. DO NOT GO HERE!!!! You will waste your entire day and your money.
