This place us wonderful!! Mary Ann was such a pleasure. She kept me laughing the entire time. I got the Macedonian pedi/mani and it felt good and well worth the money spent for a little pampering. Really enjoyed mother/daughter time.

I went to the other location about a month ago, and I was really happy with my nails. I decided to come to this location, because its closer to my new place, and I was not disappointed! I got the Spartan pedicure and renewed my dip nail polish on my hands. I was very happy with the way they turned out. I hope to be back again in the future!

Their prices are listed up front.Cons: very pricey for a basic manicure & pedicure especially since both chipped within 24 hours. They also charge 4.5% for using a card.Overall, ok experience so average rating. I’d suggest maybe finding a more affordable place if you’re just looking for a simple pick me up nail day.

I wanted to love this place so bad!! I loved the cocktail & the staff was very friendly but you pay way too much for the overall quality of the service. I paid extra for gel on my toes & the NEXT DAY it lifted from the nail. This has never happened to me before.The friends I went with also had similar issues (crooked nails, not perfectly polished).If I lived locally I would definitely go back in & ask for a refund.

Great service. This was our second time coming here because the first time was so good. We thought it was randomly good service but they are constantly great at what they do.

We were a Friday night walk-in and they were booked up, with only a 30 min gap. They understood that we (working moms that NEVER get to do this) we’re beyond desperate and they squeezed us in. The girls, although hurrying, never made us feel rushed and gave us the best they could with the time constraints. Blair, Tori, and Lizzie made our night and they have gained forever customers…who will schedule appointments going forward.

I called three times to the Anthenian Nail Spa on old hickory and I also text and left a message on Facebook. No one got back to me after about five hours. I wasn’t going to drive there after trying all those solutions. I had an idea to call the other location in cool springs and thankfully I did. Hannah, which was the manager ended up going above and beyond to get me an appointment. Unfortunately it’s at the old hickory location because I’m going to see Hannah from now on. She really deserves recognition for getting me one of the last appointments on Sunday. Go see Hannah at Cool Springs location she takes care of her customers.

They are nice but EXTREMELY over priced. Everything is an up charge- and not a $5 dollar up charge, we’re talking $15-$20 for a different type of polish. Mani and pedi was no better than any other place I’ve gone to. Staff was very nice but I think the prices over shadowed them

My boyfriend wanted to take me to get my nails and toes done, so we went and were there for quite some time to realize my dip and nail art isn’t even that good. One of the toes I got painted is already peeling after just 5 days. The dip looks messy on a few nails and where I got art on my nails, one of them looks like a bubble. So I’m not too happy with this place. If you want something simple I’d say go to them but the art and dip I don’t really recommend.

If youre interested in an experience, then that you will receive. If you’re interested in quality service, go elsewhere. I get gel polish regularly on my nails. This is the FIRST time in probably 15 years that my gel polish lasted less than a week. I was also charged for a manicure which I didnt ask for and consisted of only cuticle clippling. I cant express my disappointment enough.

Ehhh... I wasn’t impressed. I like how you can text for an appointment, but I don’t like it when employees complain about how tired they are and how they haven’t had time to eat or take a break all day. This is not the client’s problem. The chatter between employees was very casual and unprofessional. Also, the decor is strange. It wasn’t very clean, tidy, or relaxing. It felt like I was getting a pedicure in the dressing room of a strip club. This place was a one and done for me.

So I’ve been going here for a little while, the people are usually nice. The services have also been fairly good from what I’ve tried. The only unfortunate thing is if you try to book ahead and it doesn’t go through cause they are booked then you get no notice. So when you call at 6pm about the appointment you tried to book at 2pm, your kind is sol when everything else closes at 7pm.The prices aren’t bad, and the results have been good, but this is an issue for me on a personal level. A simple “sorry we are full” would have been nice at least.

My experience at this salon was nothing short of an expensive disaster. I traveled out of my way to this salon given the positive reviews but it was such a disappointment.I should first state that I am a regular recipient of manicures and pedicures, so I have a firm grounding in fair pricing and salon standards.Facility: I arrived and was asked to select a dip color but there were only 10-15 options on the wall to choose from. The whole aesthetic of this salon is bizarre...from the black walls and lack of windows to the fact that they played Creed and Nickleback (seriously) music videos on the TV it was not relaxing. Everything felt dirty. In fact at the end of my service, my tech brought over a hot towel and laughed about how she wished they wouldve put more fragrance on it because she could really smell the mildew on this one.Service: For the most part the service was fine, however I found the nail tech completely unprofessional. She made several comments about calluses (I just had a pedicure one month ago) and tried to upsell me to one of their other expensive pedicures multiple times. It was uncomfortable to say the least. She did the same when performing my manicure regarding a hangnail. I have almond shaped nails and she filed the sides of my fingers so hard that it actually broke the skin on both of my thumbs. Only two very thin layers of dip powder were used...so the opaque pink color I selected is actually so sheer I can see my nail features underneath.I could go on but Ill get to the point...an SNS manicure and pedicure were $120. By FAR the most expensive mani pedi Ive ever received. While their prices are clearly posted, what is NOT clear is that the $50 dip overlay does not include a manicure, if you want a manicure that is an additional $25.Save yourself the trouble and the trip and visit another salon.

Been here a couple times and every time I am very happy. I have had a couple different people do my nails and all are very good. This past time I went I had an older gentleman so my nails. He was amazing! Paid super close attention to details. Spent a lot of time making sure my nails were shaped perfectly and my feet were hella smooth.

Ive ways lived this place. Very adult space that has qualified, fun techs who listen to and honor customer requests. The drinks are great and vibe is chill.

I got a “full experience” pedicure with gel on my toe nails. I received service on May 10th, they began to chip on the 27th, but it was only one toe nail so I didn’t make a big deal about it. It is now June 1st and out of ten toes four of them are chipped. I called to inform the manager and she told me that gel is only guaranteed to last for 2-3 weeks. Now I’m not sure if this is true or not, however in the past my gel polish has lasted for 6 weeks or longer... The only reason I am choosing to do a review is because I paid 85 dollars plus a 10 dollar tip for this pedicure and was not accommodated at all for the chipped toe nails. The vibe was great as well as the experience which is why I gave one star.

Second attempt after we booked an appointment on the website for 8 and they do not except anyone after 7:30. This time we booked an appointment for 4:30 and we’re sat in our pedicure chairs shortly after then we waited for 40 min as other people who came in after us got served. After our feet were pruned and the water was cold we decided to leave. In addition the chairs were dirty and worn, service obviously nonexistent. Won’t be going back. Scheduled an appointment for two full experience pedicures for 12:30pm. Unfortunately we caught traffics getting to the location. We arrived at the location and the parking was full. We had to park on the side of the building and walk around. Got into the spa and stood in line as two people were in front of us. We get to the counter and are turn away because it’s 12:46, and they only allow a 15mins grace period. ONE MINUTE? So you mean to tell me because we stood in line that took us outside the grace period that we can’t be serviced? The receptionist was very rude this causing everyone to look at us. Will never return to this establishment. Mind you, this was my first visit!

I cannot recommend this place highly enough. My husband and I were in town on our honeymoon. I had an appointment scheduled while he went and did something else, but his thing got canceled. We showed up and explained our situation and they enthusiastically accommodated us both. Our technicians were friendly and we left feeling so pampered and so happy. The prices cannot be beat. If we are ever in the area again, this will be my first stop!

My first ever experience at a nail salon. I enjoyed the Mai Tai, helped with my uncertainty about getting nails done.

First 2 visits were fine however the last was horrible: price misquoted and way too expensive not to mention 2 days later 2 fingernails and my big toe had polish chip off, the Special $$ shellac paint. They said they would redo within the time allotted however my mother was in town for a week and I was unable to do so. About $100 down the drain wasted oh well. Be careful, communicate thoroughly from the start, know what you’re paying for, and review receipt (breakdown). I believe they saw me as a mark that wouldn’t notice.

Rude staff. Waited 35 min after appointment time at 11 am. Pedicure was so so. Could have done it myself. Not worth the $$

I couldn’t use their business because they post inaccurate times. I have tried 3 times in the past 2 weeks to book an appointment and they have cancelled all 3 times and said to reschedule. I showed in person during the open times and they said they were closed with a hour and half left before their online time said they were closed

This nail spa was amazing, it barely took us five minutes to be seated.The drinks were nice to have while your nails are getting cured. Tia, my technician was very nice and she was able to do a plaid design for a holiday look! My experience was amazing and I if I come back to visit this area I will definitely consider coming by to get my nails done!

First time customer at Athenian, 2nd time getting dip powder, and one of many, many experiences getting nail extensions.I booked a quick manicure and dip powder w/ extensions, but never got the manicure. I had paid for the services w/o thinking about it and then I spoke w/ my friend I had gone with when I got in the car and thats when I realized I never actually got a manicure, despite it being on the check-in sheet. They refunded me immediately when I went back in (although, the receptionist is not the friendliest/most attentive). I was happy with my nails despite this, until a week later. This is when I noticed cracking of the dip polish near the intersection of where the extension was added on the nails. 2 weeks later and 2 nails pop off within 12 hrs of each other and they came off doing normal, every day tasks (grabbing ice from the freezer, putting on shoes). I have never had this happen in all my years getting extensions on my nails and they didnt hurt when they came off either. This indicates to me that the glue was not sufficient/ had worn off. I tried messaging Athenian to see if they could do anything, and I did not even get a response. Im typing this review after a 3rd nail just came off. I may go back some time in the distant future, but for now, this place has left a bad taste in my mouth and a very poor first impression.

My friend and I went to this place. It took not even a five minute wait and was very quick. They have a very good variety of colors to choose from which was spectacular. They were very attentive while doing are nails and did not rush. They even do nail designs that you like which is pretty cool. I would reccomend going here is you are looking for a good nail salon. Definitely a 5 star review no doubt. You definitely will get your moneys worth. #notrubbish

I tried to get my nails done here due to them closing late but instead of me driving all the way across town they should at least put on their website or door that they only take appointments because that is what I was told when I got there and was mad because I had to drive all the way across town to get home but it’s whatever, I’ll find somewhere else to get my nails done.

Don’t waste your time. If you are able to ‘book’ an appt online, who knows if they’ll ‘confirm’ it. I called, text, and booked online but was still told when I arrived that I wouldn’t be able to stay for mani/pedi. Also- the receptionist/manager asked how and when I’d made an appt. When I explained I’d tried their text, phone and online options for several weeks- she laughed at me.

The prices are a little higher than most nail salons, but I feel like youre paying for the experience. The inside is set up like an actual bar, which is pretty cool. Theres a limit on alcoholic drinks, but you get unlimited refills on the sodas and juices. The variety of sugar scrubs is amazing and they smell REALLY good. Its worth the money if youre looking for something more than a simple mani-pedi.

I entered as a walk-in on a Saturday. The receptionist stated that they were booked for the entire day. I exited, went on their website to make an appointment, and saw that there were multiple available appointments for that very same day. I do not appreciate being blatantly lied to, and the sheer unprofessionalism and laziness of the receptionist to not even bother checking if there were any available slots.

Classy. The greeter or receptionist was very knowledgeable and understandable. She explained they do not do acrylics but they do extensions with powder. This was new to me, I was happy right after they were done and they even fixed me a drink. But I feel I need to be honest w/what happened with me and my experience. Its a super cool looking place, but youll pay for it.I tried the dip with extension, b/c they do not do acrylics.I am very unhappy. I am hard on my nails though, but my acrylics always hold up for 3,4 weeks sometimes-if I dont find the time to be able to get there in 2 weeks. I expressed that I was hard on my nails while starting w/my tech, but he raved about these being great, strong and better for your nails. While that may be true for me it did not work out at all. They broke off week one. I lost first nail day 2. Then day 3 another 2.etc. I am now only 2 weeks out and have only 5 of the 10 nails still on, not broken off. The dip is cool but these do not hold up if you are use2 acrylics.

Came in to get a pedicure for my birthday. Reven took very good care of me while visiting. She was not only extremely nice, she was very knowledgeable and educated me on pedicures in general. As a relatively nerdy person I appreciated this quite a bit. The place itself was extremely clean and everyone was helpful. Prices were fantastic as well. They deserve this review, but Im trying to go back so everyone dont start showing up all at once!!!! Ill be back to see Reven for sure. Check this place out.

My first experience was amazing, so I decided to return the next time I wanted a pedicure. When I went the second time, I got a different technician. She was very nice, but it felt as if she rushed through the pedicure. When working on the cuticles, she ended up causing it to bleed, and my toe was agitated for over a week. For the price, I feel like the technician should take their time to complete their work. I’m unsure if I’ll return due to this previous experience

First and LAST time customer. Worst customer service experience ever. I got the dips because I heard they are more natural looking. My tech had no idea what he was doing and had to be walked through the service every step my a neighboring tech.Then upon paying, I presented my gift card and they took it and then charged the full amount to my card again! They now refuse to refund the difference or make the situation right in any way, and I was advised that the GM has no interest in talking to me.After waiting way too long to even be greeted, terrible and costly service and poor customer service, I am not sure why I would ever return. The salon is pretty but that is where it ends.

DONT CHEAT YOURSELF TREAT YOURSELF !!! Si is great for pedicures and tbaby is magnificent with the dip powder extension set and foil wrap designs and baby she knows how to shape that coffin tip1000 it’s expensive but you get exactly what you want !!!

I’ve been going to Athenian since 2017 and I must say I will never ever be going back, I paid 60 dollars for a horrible pedicure, first of all it was the quickest pedicure I’ve ever got done and my feet are all rough and the polish its a mess, I told the guy about it all he did was paint on top of it now it looks even worst, I told the people on the front and all they said was sorry and didn’t care at all . So with that being said never ever coming back you guys fell off .

This place is super relaxing! I love the full experience that they offer. A bit pricey as they charge already around $99 for the full experience mani and pedicure and any added powdered or gel nails is more money. The shaping and tips are extra charges as well. The service you recieve is almost worth it though! I will say I love every step in the full experience and I would do it again for the price even though I think its a bit much. The employees here are also very nice. I heard that they are starting a new point system, so I will definitely take part in that next time!

Very disappointed with our experience. My husband and I were looking forward to our pre-Valentines day pedicures. We purchased the valentine special online for $50 each which included a mani-pedi or a full-experience pedicure. We thought this would be a good idea as the full-experience pedicure is listed as $62 on the menu. When we arrived for our appt we were told that the special did NOT include the full-experience pedicure as advertised and it was just worded wrong. Instead, we were offered an Aphrodite pedicure that is $49 on the menu. We were confused by this because why advertise the pedicure as a Valentines Day special and charge $1 more for the same pedicure thats listed on the menu for $49? Well we were told that the difference was that the valentine special came with a glitter sugar scrub. At this point we were upset with the false advertisement. The receptionist was rude. The manager apologized for the incorrect wording and the fact that they also did not have the paraffin wax treatment as advertised and gave us the substitution for this service free of charge. I was pleased with my nail tech because she was really nice and thorough. However, the overall experience put a damper on our day and the establishment in general is subpar and underwhelming.

You schedule appointments just for the salon not to be timely. I’ve been more times than I can count now. No one inquired about my experience because they already knew. Was there for 3 hours. For 1.5 hours I was just waiting to be serviced..........but I had an appointment. Scheduled a pedicure and manicure with dip overly. I was waiting so long that I didn’t even bother with the mani. It would have just kept me there even longer. Annoyed w/ the location off Old Hickory Blvd.

My girlfriend and I were in town on vacation. We found this place from a quick Google search. This is only my 2nd pedicure but shes been many times. This place was by far, the best place either of us have been to. The staff was very friendly and the complimentary cocktail was just as good as any bar you can go to. If we ever are driving through Nashville, we will be stopping by again. Please put one in Columbus Ohio 😁

I love that they have a bar and offer boba tea. The massage chair was strong and the service was good. I just think its a bit overpriced, otherwise I would give it 5 stars.

This past Saturday my friends and I were in town for a bachelorette party. Several weeks out we called and spoke with Katie and was told we could make an appointment but it would be $120 we told her our concerns and she told us to call them a day before to see what the schedule looked like and we would go from there. We called on Friday and spoke with Katie again and were told the schedule was open for Saturday and we could just show up no problem. When we arrived the lady at the front was very rude. She asked if we could come back at 2 we explained we had took an Uber and that was impossible. The lady stated “ we will have to stagger you in” we were very okay with that. This lady continued to talk out our group to other employees. The bride was told in order to get a drink from the bar she would need to upgrade her package, okay that is fine however her bill came to 130 some dollars and that was for a mani/pedi and if you could see her feet they look the same as before. She has dead skin on her heels did not get any of the massages that were included. Sugar scrub was all she received. For my own experience I have been doing the powder dip for a while now and my nails have always lasted 3 weeks. I did powder again on Saturday and it’s Tuesday and they are already Cracking. When you pay 40+ Dollars you expect the work to be equivalent. I also witnessed several tech’s pouring out Manicure water and then storing the bowl. There was Absolutely no sterilization of the bowl. Very disappointing!D.Peckedit....we did not show up unannounced. We spoke with Katie the day before. She knew we were coming. Regardless even if we did we are still paying customers and you made a pretty good amount of money from us including tips (because its only right to do so). We should not have been treated the way we were and the work should have been better than it was. Side note...coping and pasting responses is not good for business either. It is my right to write a review and as a business they way you responded was very unprofessional. Good Day!

Nikki is amazing! She is the best person that has ever done my nails...in 20 years & 4 states. Ive been to several of the other techs here & always had good results except for one time. They also give you points that add up to $ off when you redeem them. However, if Nikki ever leaves then I will follow where she goes. 😊

I use the online method to make an appointment its super easy. I love that they call to confirm availability. Once I arrive there is usually a 15 minute wait so I dont recommend doing a walk in. They have extensive color choices! My nail techs are ALWAYS nice! I always get offered a drink. Great for couples, girls night, me time and the best part the verity in music videos!!!

A detailed website says a lot about a business and is what I look for when in a new city seeking beauty services. They have this thing called a speed pass (refer to website for details) it holds your place in line but its not really an appointment, I dont know how to describe it properly. They are very time aware so I kinda feel as though I was rushed through hence why I took 1 star off. Its a big dark salon with plenty of talented nail artists and clients to keep them busy.

Everyone was really nice upon entry and the entire process. Alot if different nail polishes to choose from. All in all good first experience and will go back.

Nikki always takes her time and does a great job. She is friendly and provides great service. She is highly skilled and does an amazing job with dip powder. She never disappoints when it comes to the services she provides. I love the atmosphere and music, it’s pretty chill and the bar is also a plus!!!!

***UPDATE***I mentioned below how unsatisfied I was with my nails and the same day the front desk rep called me to see what happened with my service and offered for me to come in and they fix it for free! I definitely went back in, yesterday, and saw Nikki! She made sure to fix everything about my nails and I sure left satisfied! I’ll be back every other week to see her for my nails! This is an example of great customer service how they make sure you are satisfied!I’ve been to this location twice now. The first time I saw Nikki and she did a great job! I actually made sure to get her name so when I went back I could request her. However, when I went back I think I got someone by the name of Tan, or at least that’s what my text for a review said. He was okay. He did cool on my feet from what I can tell but in my hands, that’s another story. I got my dip taken off and put back on and he didn’t do the best! I can easily see how my nail surface isn’t smooth and it shows straight through my polish. It’s all on my cuticles as well which doesn’t look great at all. I’d go back but definitely not to him. This nail job makes me wanna take it off and get it redone. I feel like it was a waste of my money....

I went here because they took online reservations and I had a large group. Had never been before. They were AWESOME. friendly, took us all at once, just great overall.The manicure I got lasted for A MONTH. I went to Asia, Cuba, Montana, and Miami all within that month with lots of salt water, hiking, and generally not manicure friendly activities. I could not believe how long it lasted and how good it looked. I wish I knew the girls name who did my nails.Legitimately the best manicure I have ever gotten.

First of all, I’ve never paid that much for a manicure! Gel or no gel, $40 plus tip per person and there were 2 of us, was very expensive. My Granddaughter got the works! An oil massage and all kinds of “extras” that I didn’t get. After using oil on her hands and arms and massaged into her fingers even, she was wrapped in warm towels (there was a towel for each hand) plus a dry towel on top. She was in heaven! I got one towel after the manicure and it got cold rapidly. I just felt glad that she got the works! That’s what today was really all about. My “massage” after the manicure was so hard that I had to ask him to stop and both my arms were very red from the pressure. I got a half manicure that luckily for me was very speedy. I don’t think we’ll be back.
