They were so informative and helpful. They were very honest about treatments and other plans. They kept me updated constantly. I was able to leave my husky with them for a couple of days and know for a fact she was in the best hands. It was an amazing experience during a terrible time.

The Vets and staff were very informative and helpful during what is a horrific time. Tests were fast and the vets kept us up to date while we waiting in the parking area. It was late at night and we were tankful there was such a great and helpful place to take our little guy. If you have to go to an emergency vet after hours etc, this is the place to go.

Took very good care of my Jack Russell and answered every question that I had and kept me up to date as to what was going on. Took very good care of my fur baby when I myself was a nervous wreck and even came out to my car to explain everything rather than over the phone. Very personable and caring group, if anything ever happens to your fur baby this is the place to go!

Professional compassionate staff. Dr Sessions and Dr House were both very thorough and caring in their diagnosis process of our dog who presented with a list of serious ailments. We are confident that they are doing everything that can be done to help her.

4.5 but that’s not an option in the rating. Everyone was courteous. We did have to wait almost a day to be seen because it was a weekend, there was a long wait line and critical pets had to be seen first. We waited at home and they called every 3 hours to check if our dog was stable, since she was, we were pushed to 10AM the next day. We thought the bill could reach 250/300 but it actually was $500. That was a lot more than expected, but we are grateful our little angel was treated and is recovering ❤️‍🩹.

Dr. Cook, Erin, and Caitlin are so wonderful! Dr. Cook was incredibly thorough in detailing whats going on with my Moose and the options available to us moving forward. It is clear how knowledgeable/passionate he is in Vet Oncology. Really grateful to have this team helping my pup.

We have had emergencies with two dogs at this point, both of which were treated with kindness, empathy and what we felt was strong subject knowledge. Our first dog emergency was a heart-condition which ultimately ended in a very gentle passing, with the help of NVS. Our second dog emergency diagnosed an uncommon and challenging disease. We are still dealing with that and recently had to visit to deal with aspiration pneumonia, which resulted in hospitalization of the little guy. The COVID protocols are necessary I suppose but are disconcerting when your pet is in critical condition. Still, given that hurdle, the physicians and technicians were very responsive, communicative and very willing to answer all of our (many) questions about treatment in hospital and going forward after discharge. We are rescue pet owners of four little ones and are committed to them, come what may. Its good to know that our pets can be seen quickly and cared for so efficiently, prudently and knowledgeably.

I have a large dog who has extreme separation anxiety and they refuse me to stay with him or treat him outside. Even though I told them he could be treated very easily if I was with him. They do not care. They said they could drug him. There staff is extremely rude and I had to ask for a manager 3 times. The manager Sandra refused to compromise. In my opinion they are not worried about animals and more interested in drugging them then providing options that are better for the animals and I do not recommend them!!

Everyone has been super nice, they explain everything that they do and completely explain what they would advise but yet there is no pressure and only want to not only care for your pet but also support us humans with sometimes difficult situations. My sweet Cooper is currently going through chemo and I wouldnt trust him with anyone else. Great doctors and awesome staff!

I have had to (unfortunately) take both my dogs, Scout and Ilio, to NVS several times in the last year. I also took one of my other dogs for care when he neared the end of his life several years ago. We have always had such positive experiences. The doctors really know what they are doing, and the staff are all so efficient, caring, and knowledgeable. I wish they could be our regular vets all the time! If you ever need emergency care for your babies, I highly recommend Nashville Veterinary Specialists. I cannot say enough good things about them!!

Called at around 2:00pm today. Got put on hold 3 times. Told all 3 people I spoke to what was going on just for no one to know that I have spoken to anyone. Got told that they needed to see if my dogs problems were urgent or an emergency.... they decided it was only urgent and gave me very little instructions on how to check in online.. I asked if we needed to head on up there because we were an hour away, oh no itll be at least 4 hours before were ready... so I filled out the form and was told we would receive text or call within an hour letting us know to head up there.. its now 9:00pm and still havent heard anything.. im glad they could let me know the price over the phone for exams but never actually ask what exactly what was going on... we will go to our vet and pay them to care for us.. dont bother to post one of your copy and pasted responses.. not worth my time.

In may of this year, we had to put my cat down unexpectedly. everyone that worked with us were all so unbelievably kind. they are very thorough, clear, and professional. both before and after we put him down, they discussed options with us and i received his ashes as well as a paw print back. the prices were reasonable and everyone was very understanding, accommodating, and patient with me while we said our goodbyes to my buddy. i am forever grateful for the experiences i’ve had here.recently, we had another incident with another one of our kitties. we went in early in the morning for some respiratory problems. he spent the day there they took amazing care of him. and again, they gave us plenty of options. they sent us home with some steroids & some medication and he is doing much better! fingers crossed that they stay working. thank you guys so much for your help and all you do.

I had an extraordinary interaction with the Nashville Veterinary Specialists. The support staff who answered the phone and guided you through the process were kind and informative. My great pyrenees, Liam, was seen in a timely manner. The vet who cared for him, Dr. McLeod, was understanding and very descriptive in her findings and instructions. A little bit of irony, Dr. McCloud has a great pyrenees also. I would rather have been allowed to accompany my dog and see the facility, but Covid restrictions are intact.

My puppy was referred to the hospital after being attacked by another dog. The were very prompt on providing care for her. Check in process was quick and they were already expecting us. I am very grateful for keeping us informed and doing everything possible to help my girl.

I had to come from north Alabama to this hospital as a last ditch effort to figure out what was causing my cat to be so sick. After the vets in my town failing me and not listening to me when I told them she needed help, Nashville Veterinary Specialists welcomed me right away and did everything they could. They made me feel heard and I truly feel they cared about her. Dr. Wang was the specialist we saw and she was amazing. So kind and explained everything thoroughly. She was able to figure out a treatment plan quickly and while actually listening to my concerns and thoughts about what was going on. In this case, she confirmed what I thought it was and it felt great that she took the time to hear me.

😭😭😭 we had an emergent situation with our 8 week old pup. He had a seizure at home— so we took him to his primary vet, who then sent us to Nashville Veterinary Specialists for further evaluation (by a neurologist). We drove him over immediately and they took him right back and started caring for him as soon as we got there. He ended up having to spend the night due to an additional seizure… but we knew he was in great hands (and we had a couple of friends who have had to utilize NVS services who spoke very highly of them as well). Now he’s back home, stable, and we’re monitoring him to see how he does on some new medication. All of the doctors (it’s been a crazy few days and the only name I can remember is Dr. House, but they were all so great) were incredibly kind and empathetic when calling to update us on his condition while he was there. Not that we want to have to visit frequently, but in 911 situations, this place is your best bet and the only 24 hour animal hospital with a neurologist in middle TN. Thank you for helping us and helping our little guy during this crazy time!

My cat RA has had a bad skin allergy for the last 3 years. There is no cure unfortunately but the staff and doctors at Nashville Veterinary Specialists are great and caring. I also have had other cats go there for emergency injuries etc. This place is really top notch on all levels

Brought our senior cat in for specialty oncology referral re: recurrence of mole adjacent to L eye. Staff and Dr. Vancil treated us promptly (got in on a cancelation) and expertly. Basic labs done on site confirmed our concern for kittys welfare. Have one further referral to complete before we proceed. Clinic clearly has processes and staffing to accommodate virtually any pets needs or concerns.....

They were amazing, the staff, Dr. Kelly, were outstanding! They are really there for your pet and you. They keep you informed, Dr. Kelly came to my car to watch the video of my cats problem. Dr. Sessions and his team were FANTASTIC!!! Just not enough words to positively describe our experience. They were kind, compassionate and detailed. They took care of our baby like he was their own. So thankful for their knowledge and guidance. Top notch

My standard poodle, Henry, was recently diagnosed with a sudden onset grade 3 heart murmur. We were so upset and worried about the diagnosis and what to do next.The staff at Nashville Veterinary Specialists were ready to see Henry right on time the day of his appointment. They were very friendly, professional and caring. The tech that took him into the clinic was very warm and friendly.After his diagnostic tests were finished, Dr. Rodriguez called to speak to me in detail about the tests and how to manage Henrys care. She was very thorough and patient with me as I asked many questions.We feel very confident in the clinic and the care that Henry received. Well done guys!!

Very helpful, very detailed. said there was a 2 1/2 hour wait i Bruno was seen within a little over an hour. the only thing is the website to check in took three times to do because at some point it went back to the beginning. but i love this place and the people very sweet very much attentive to me and especially Bruno

NVS did a great job caring for our dog after a raccoon bite. We were able to check in online very easily and a vet tech came out to assess him within a few minutes of arriving (during a very busy time at 3am on a weekend). Because there were many other critical cases, we were able to go home to wait and simply came back after receiving a text that they were ready for us a few hours later. I didn’t mind having to wait b/c we’ve been the more critical case before and appreciate that they prioritize appropriately. Once we came back for our turn, they treated him promptly and the cost was very reasonable, even considering anesthesia, etc.

Everyone was super friendly and helpful. I gave it four star because it was expensive. My cat got bitten on the tail by another cat and cause a wound. They shaved the area, cleaned it and gave him meds. It was $500. Expect to wait a long time. I got there at 9a left at 11a. When I first arrived I waited an hour until they came and got him. They told me to wait in my car for a phone call, waited for another hour. Told me to come back at 3p. Came back to pick him up at 3p waited 1.5hr before they brought him to me. Good thing I don’t have an actual schedule at work.

They did an ecxcellent job helping me and Noni cross the rInbow bridge. I will be eternally grateful fie the help and compassion they gave me during that difficult time. Good job guys.

Recently had to take my fur baby here for some last night issues he was having. Very thankful these ladies was available to help out. Thankfully I havent had to visit them to many times but each time has been a Blessing. Thanks a bunch for everything you do. ))

We brought our cat in due to either vestibular disease or some neurological event on Sunday morning. They were very quick to meet us at the door and get her seen by the vet. The vet spent time with us going over her diagnosis and providing options. The girls at the front desk were amazing. They always helped us if we had questions. This is an emergency hospital for pets and I think people forget that. We heard several conversations of the girls trying to explain the long wait if a pet is stable. I think people dont understand that and are not happy when they say it could be an 8 hour wait if stable. They definitely are quick once they figure out if it is an actual emergency. They are doing everything they can and I highly recommend them!

Nashville Veterinary Specialists is excellent. We had a serious emergency with our elderly bloodhound and they acted quickly, efficientlyand professionally. He was in surgery which saved his life within a half hour after we arrived - and this was 2:00 AM! He is now home and doing well.

It was my second visit there and it was still such a pleasant experience, even when there was chaos going around no less! The staff are so friendly and upbeat even when its obvious theyve had long and/or hard hours, the doctor that spoke to me looked as if she was ready to fall asleep on her feet or keel over yet she maintained such a friendly and open disposition as she went over the details of my pet. I appreciate these folks so much and never felt better about my baby being in proper care, they treat every pet owner and pet with respect and with obvious love for animals (of course!) as if they were their own babies or we were relatives coming in for a visit. They deserve all the praise and enthusiasm, bless their souls 🙏

From the first phone call to our discharge, everyone at the emergency hospital was amazing. They were kind, compassionate, and showed genuine care for me and my sick pet. They kept me updated, and made my pet feel more comfortable. If I ever need emergency services again, I know exactly where to go! Five stars all the way!

This was my first visit and I was so very pleased! Dr. Sessions was so caring, patient with my questions and made sure I understood everything from big words to treatment plan to cost! I feel good about our treatment plan and truly feel their concern and support in this process!

Me and my husband had just lost our baby Bella! We called NVS they took us in right away even though we live in Madison! They said their condolences to us both, they explained about the choices of cremation and we told them that we wanted her ashes back! When arrived at NVS we were given some time alone with Bella which we were grateful for since I had worked all day and I had only two hours with her! When we got ready to pay for the cremation services the Tech had paid for the services herself which me and my husband are truly blessed for her to do such an honorable gesture for us, because I was going use all my tip money and savings to pay for my 4 legged daughter’s cremation because she was worth it to me and my husband! I want to thank each and everyone at NVS for taking us in us quickly and treating us like family, also thank you for the sodas! Don’t worry we will pay it forward and you will be seeing/hearing from us in the future!

My dog ate some chocolate I called them they told me to head right over the moment I got there they came out to get my dog! They made sure my dog was comfortable and calm through the process. I was even able to bring my fur baby home that night! Super friendly people I wish I could give them more than a five star rating! Grateful for everything they do!!

I was referred to this vet hospital by my local vet for emergency care. This facility isn’t local so I wouldn’t have thought to drive all the way here from Hendersonville but honestly, I couldn’t have found a more caring, thorough, professional, and top notch staff with fantastic people skills! The team here are filled with patience and compassion like I’ve never experienced at an emergency vet before. I worked with several of their team members on 3 separate visits and a final visit was to put my pet to sleep.Dr. Baxter was so professional and compassionate, so thorough with his diagnosis and really listened, answered all my questions, and never once rushed me to wrap up the consultation. When he gave me the bad news that my pet had just mere days to live he was so kind, professional and sensitive to the situation, not cold and clinical at all! When I had to put my sweet Bella down Dr. McLeod was just wonderful.If you ever have any specialty needs, after hours emergency concerns, or have to make the heartbreaking decision of putting your pet to sleep—I can’t recommended this facility and their staff enough. Our pets are our babies and this team gets that 100% and it shows.Technically they were a bit more expensive for me to go here for end of life care rather than my local vet but the compassion and environment was so caring and detailed that I knew my baby would be in the absolute best of care. I’m so grateful for Dr. McLeod and Dr. Baxter. Highly recommended!

This place has always been very professional. They have always taken great of my Piper. They listen to what I have to say as well as explain what is going on with my fur baby.Im not a fan of having to say in my car while they take my baby in but I do understand why they need to do this. The doctor does call me while I wait and goes over everything as if I was I person with her. That means a lot!This time Martha came out to get Piper and that was a delight for me. She was very nice and professional, and was very loving to my baby. The only thing that could have made this part better would have been I could have got her number, you see I thought Martha was absolutely beautiful. Nashville Veterinarian Specialists were great caring for our pup while we were away from home. They were very compassionate and upfront about the expectations both for the care and cost of our fur-baby, so there were no surprises. The vet and the nurses were wonderful about keeping us updated on the plan for each day, and took the time to answer all of our questions.

My cat was not acting himself, so I took him to NVS immediately. They cared for him. They were incredibly informative, and surprisingly quick for the amount of pet patients they were handling at the time. They treated his symptoms and provided multiple options for treatment plan. I feel very confident leaving my pets in their care. It was an awesome experience.

Our experience was way more than positive!!! The Drs are knowledgeable, the techs are very savvy, and they even send pics via email as updates for the kiddos!!! We love our Vet....and our vet is Nashville Veterinary Specialists!! Top notch, very friendly, and loving!!!

Probably one of the best Veterinary appointments Ive had, ever. And Ive got a great Vet! We had to visit the dermatologist for our Dachshund who is having really bad skin issues. He has been super itchy and antibiotics clear him up but it comes back a couple of weeks later so we ended up going to the vet over this for over a year and a half trying to figure out what it might be. Finally, we get referred to Nashville Veterinary Specialists. Ive spent a lot of time and money on this dog but I refuse to let him live a miserable life... hes my buddy! So, we have our appointment. The doctor calls and Im expecting a diagnosis, a chat about what to do, the meds Im getting and off the phone....right? Quick appointment no time to dilly dally the doctor is busy. Nope, this doctor talked about my dogs history, what weve tried so far, for how long etc. Talked about what she believes the diagnosis is and what she would like to try. Skin issues/allergy issues arent easy and I know this. Its a hit or miss in trials to figure it out unless you can pin point it in an allergy test. Im not there yet but might have to. I never felt rushed or like my opinion or thought wasnt important. Absolutely awesome staff and Ill definitely keep going and recommend to my friends and family. If you go, I hope you receive the same treatment!!!

I highly recommend NVS for your pet emergency needs. They were up front, detailed in our conversations and so caring when my puppy needed to be admitted for a couple of days. Thanks to the staff my pup is doing well and back to being herself!

NVS saw our dog Hank for an urgent surgery over the weekend after his normal vet said they couldn’t treat him and another local emergency vet specialist couldn’t see him until several days later. They took great care of him and we are so relieved to have him home and recovering. Dr Travis is great!

We had a great experience with both a parking lot visit and our first in house visit. When we couldnt come inside, the staff communicated quickly and thoroughly and we left fully understanding our care plan. Once we were able to come inside, the visit was equally as pleasant. The clinic is clean and the staff is friendly. Our pup received care from Dr. Ackerman and she has us on the road to recovery.

They took excellent care of my cat during his ER visit and stay in the hospital! I so appreciated each phone call with updates and each doctor I spoke with took all the time I needed to understand what was going on, to make decisions, and ask a million questions. I never once felt rushed by them, even when talking with the specialist was a 25 minute phone call. And after we came home, there were follow ups calls to check in on him and when I called with questions, they always were answered. I felt valued as a pet parent which in turned made me feel like my kitty was valued and well cared for. They made a really stressful situation less stressful!

I used Cardiology. As a long time breeder and required clearances call on the experts it is with great appreciation to know we have access to some of the best. Prompt, clear, not too expensive are a big plus. I received good news and bad news and both were handled professionally with good understanding and clear explanation. Thank you!

Nashville Veterinary Specialists were so helpful when I had to bring my pup in the middle of the night after ingesting who knows what out of the garbage. They were so kind and very upfront about costs which I appreciated!

First appointment with Oncology and the vet was very detailed in describing the mass and treatment options. Upon request, provided photos showing the lung mass. Appreciated his time and look forward to working with him in future.

This is the place you need to go when you’re pet is needing emergency care. No other pet hospital even compares. Like an ER, the prioritize the needs of their patients, so do not expect immediate care unless your pet requires it. The providers and the staff are beyond exceptional. That have a proven process supported by a very knowledgeable and caring staff.

I was visiting out of town and had to take my fur baby in for an emergency visit. Thank goodness she is doing ok now. Staff was extremely nice, professional, helpful, polite, and took wonderful care of her. The vet was patient in explaining what was wrong with her and went in to detail as to what her discharge instructions needed to be. We were not allowed to go in during visit. They were very busy on the day I took her, and I understand that it is a Emergency Vet Clinic. After they called and I paid the bill from my car, they told me she would be brought out to me. After several inquiries where my dog was, It took over 2 hours to get my dog. That is the only problem we had. They got her the medicine she needed and feels much better. Thankful she is on the mend! Don’t hesitate to take your pet to this clinic especially if you’re from out of town like I was.

Tuesday morning we awoke to a frightening scene, our dog Jasmine was having a severe neurological episode. We rushed to NVS and one of the front desk personnel came to the door and gently took my sweet girl from my arms. We are so fortunate that she recovered quickly, but in that moment time stood still.In those hours of uncertainty we received several health updates from Dr. Smith. The staff was kind and patient and communicated with us frequently. Our little girl has major vet anxiety, and when we picked her up she had made friends with staff! They treated our little girl with such care and love, I will never forget it.I also really appreciate how they send you home with printed discharge instructions, because your adrenaline is so high in emergency moments it is easy to feel like you forgot something. We will forever be grateful for what the staff did for our little girl. ♥️

Everyone was so kind to us when we had an emergency appointment. They walked us through our options and were very honest with us from the very beginning. It was an extremely hard day, but Dr. Baker and the whole staff were nothing but amazing. Thank you for everything.

You never expect to have a good time at an emergency vet, ya know? It’s stressful, scary, and often expensive. That said, we had a terrific experience at NVS after my dog ate something he should not have. The doctors and vet techs were all so great - the doctor talked through our options and really did encourage me to take the less invasive, but still necessary, action for our 14 year old buddy. I was a nervous wreck the whole time but the staff did everything they could to communicate and set clear expectations. Thanks for everything you all did and I hope to never have to see y’all again, NVS.

It’s never fun to have to take your dogs to an emergency vet, but the people at Nashville vet specialists are always so knowledgeable and kind. I wish they could just be my vet. Thank you for taking care of my babies!

NVS has always been there for the darkest times for my pets. They are thorough, transparent, and are willing to provide multiple care options when available to treat your pet the best. Can’t say enough wonderful things. Wonderful, honest, and cheerful doctors and technicians.

Spent 3 hours waiting in the parking lot AFTER the doc had called and cleared our dog to be discharged. Front desk eventually called and asked for payment before they could discharge him. We paid and then still had to wait an additional 2 hrs for them to walk him out. Wasn’t even a busy night. Definitely do not recommend NVS unless you wanna spend half your night waiting on them

Bailey was treated at NVS. She was 8 weeksand was snipped by our lab at the food bowl. It happened so fast. Bailey lost her left eye. The doctor care was wonderful. They told me I would receive updates on Bailey. I never received any updates. I had to call to find out anything on her. But other than that she is recovering well.

EXCELLENT vet experience! Everyone is so kind, caring and attentive. The vet that saw our pup was quick to diagnose, give appropriate treatment and explained the situation well. The appointment making process and check in was also very simple. If you need emergency vet care, this is the place to go in Nashville. I wish this could be Levas regular vet!

Unfortunately ZERO stars is not an option. Was referred here for a CAT scan for my doggie that was RAPIDLY declining. They claimed that they never received the referral from the primary vet (which was untrue, as the primary vet had a confirmation of it being received.) The referral was sent over a second time, with a promise that I would receive a call as soon as the office opened the next day. Of course the call never came. More lies that a referral was not received. This office should be ashamed & perhaps remember that there is also a Veterinarians Oath. Absolutely appalled!!

Ive been using Nashville Vet Specialist since moving here in Sept 2019. They treated my dog, Miss Sarah, for an inflammatory disorder in her lungs and were able to ween her off of a steroid that was damaging her liver to another less invasive steroid. It was a lifesaver and made my dogs life so much more comfortable. However, the true heart of this facility came out when my dog suddenly got an intestinal disorder and I worked with the staff to make some very hard decision over the next few days. Ultimately I had to say goodbye to my little friend but they let me do so with dignity and compassion, especially while going through this pandemic. Im forever grateful for the time that they gave me with my little pup and while I miss her tremendously, her legacy lives on through the excellent care that she received and that this facility gives to others. Thank you all :)

Every time I have to take my little one here it’s always a great experience. I really appreciate how much they honestly care each visit!

They were able to work with my schedule and get us in very quickly from the time of our referral. They took good care of my dog and answered all of my many questions. They made changes to her medications that seem to be improving her quality of life for the time being but we’re honest with me about the limitations of what can be done for her and how much time I can expect to have with her.

I understand the corona safty policies that are in place, but I would have like to have talked to the neurologist. Also I would like to have been able to get an itemized bill instead of just a receipt with the total. I mean I don’t know what test were done or the charge for each one.

Very unfortunate experience here. We received a call that are dogs were ready to be checked out then had to wait over an hour before they were brought back to us because they were dealing with other animals. I understand that it is an emergency vet but the fact that my dogs had just been induced to vomit then were stuck in there for over an hour because no one could simply walk our dogs out us is unacceptable. Do better at giving people their animals back when they are done being treated.

They are one of a kind. They have helped my dog more times than I can count and they are always kind, courteous, and go above and beyond. They don’t beat around the bush to make money, and always put your baby first. Not to mention, my sweet dog Milton loves everyone there. This was our first visit to Nashville pet specialists for a surgery consult for our dog. Dr Travis was so helpful! She explained everything in great detail and then took time to answer all our questions. We really feel like our pups are in good hands with the staff here.

I was so grateful to all who helped with our dog Jake. He was bitten by something and staff realized how nervous I was and made every effort to get him inside and monitored; even though they were slammed that day.We had an emergency visit with another animal hospital last year which ended our beloved Boos life; needless to say we have very strong feelings against taking our last dog to said hospital and the staff felt compassion for us for sure.I will never take our Jake to any place other than Nashville Veterinary Specialists if we have an emergency again - hopefully no more emergencies though.

Words cannot express how wonderful this place and these veterinarian practitioners are! We brought them a very sick dog and they worked incredibly hard to heal him. He is still on the road to recovery, but had it not been for their tireless efforts, this would not be the case. Dr. Sessions and Dr. Oliver are truly incredible human beings, and every person on their staff was very helpful and understanding. Of course, any emergency/ICU care is going to be more expensive, but they were very cognizant of the costs we were incurring and never once did I feel any test or treatment was unreasonable or unnecessary -- cannot say the same for the specialty clinic that misstepped and got us into this situation. Hard to say what the future holds, but very grateful our pup has a fighting chance.

I was sent to NVS by my vet with my cat in critical condition. Because of their comprehensive practice, they were able to evaluate her, narrow in on the problems, and have her evaluated by a neurologist within hours. They took excellent care of her and their prices for the two evaluations and care were much lower than expected. I highly recommend them!

This is a wonderful place. I was so pleased with my dogs care before and after both of her surgeries. Doctor Blake Travis and her team were very attentive to her needs. Highly recommend.

I cannot say enough amazing things about this place. We have been coming here for months now, and each time they have went above and beyond! From front desk, the techs, the nurses and the doctors, they’re all wonderful! They are patient, understanding and are always there when I have a million questions! My dog loves them so much!

I had to visit the Animal Emergency at NVS and had a really positive experience. The doctors and staff were very accommodating, caring, and explained everything very clearly to me. The plan of care was great and I felt that everyone really cared about my little guy.

Had a awesome experience my sons 8 month old puppy had a bone with a hole in the middle of it stuck around his bottom jaw and behind his canine teeth we made the trip over an hour away the veterinarian tech was awesome and they had it done in about 10 minutes I would definitely recommend this place for anyone and would take mine back if needed

Get ready to get charged waaaay more than you approve and then have your animal held while you contest it. Completely unorganized. Poor/no communication.

Very helpful with my kitty who got sick after we just moved to Nashville, so I didn’t have a vet for her yet. Since my cat wasn’t an emergent case she was there for a while (to be expected, they triage cases as they should) but she received prompt and excellent care. I highly recommend using the mobile/at home check in if your pet isn’t in critical condition so you can wait at home instead of in the parking lot. Since I did that, once they were ready for me I drove there and my cat was examined within 30 minutes which was great. The best part was the vet, Dr. Lewis, called me multiple times to discuss what was going on, update me, give me diagnostics/treatment options, price quotes, and explained everything very well. Prices seem typical, maybe even on the low side considering the type of care they offer. Although I hope I don’t need their services again, it’s comforting to know I have a great emergency vet close by!

Nashville Veterinary Specialists saved my French Bulldog’s life! I brought her in for emergency surgery to repair a herniated disc. Dr. Rossi House quickly diagnosed the issue, outlined risks, and recommended options for treatment. I was provided timely updates on my pet’s condition, which included photos and videos. I’m so grateful for the excellent care my pet received from the staff and doctors!

They saved my dogs (Sprocket) life when I accidentally ran over her in my driveway. Truly amazing! They’re high quality and wonderful! They were honest with me about not knowing the outcome and the cost. I trusted them and put her life in their hands. It worked! Thank you!Sprocket is still alive years later!

Cant rate the doc for last night as we never got to see one. We arrived at 7:30 pm and were told that there was a wait. Its Sunday night and of course there is one so no problem with that. I called at 9:37 and was told that we were next. At 11:00, I went in for the restroom and asked again and I was told that there was one person ahead of me. We got our dog settled where he was not vomiting anymore and we waited until after midnight and then informed them we had to go home. We waited for 4 1/2 hours and never saw a vet. Obviously, we were worried about our dog and felt he needed to see someone. Our dog is at his vet today undergoing tests for a blockage of some sort and dehydration. We brought our other dog here for emergency and ACL surgery. I just couldnt believe that this was the same place last night. What a disappointment!!!

I took my little one, Max to emergency care and the staff there did an amazing job. He had a bad reaction to a vaccine shot and I had to take him there, 30 minutes later the staff member brought him back to me healing and recovery. Thank you so much.

They took care of my sweet, elderly cat in the middle of the night. My husband had brought him due to me being home with our newborn, but they were compassionate, helpful, and reasonably priced. They did everything they could to try to save my boy, and although he was beyond saving the gave him comfort and dignity in his final moments. Thank you to your clinic and all of your staff.

I could not be happier with this vet. Everyone is extremely helpful and nice. The techs and Dr. Vancil are very caring and answer all questions. I would highly recommend this office!!

I felt like they only wanted money and did absolutely nothing to help my dog. Example.. I brought him in with respiratory infection and they didn’t even give him anything to break fever or antibiotics to see if he would get any better before keeping him half the day just giving him oxygen until he got worse. Didn’t even check his o2 sat levels. When they finally told me at the end of the day to come get him, they brought me in to tell me he had gotten worse and he needed to be put down because I wouldn’t pay $1200 for “diagnostics”. ALL about money. They don’t care about the animals or doing ANYTHING for them, ONLY money.

The staff members were very comforting and understanding about my situation. They treated and took care of my fur baby like he was their own. I would recommend them to my family members and friends.

Wonderful and caring staff. They keep you updated constantly which is great! They are knowledgeable and know what they are doing. They truly care about the health of your fur baby! Would bring my pet back if god forbid I had to.
