Dr. Burgess and the staff are wonderful. They took excellent care of my Sadie during her dental cleaning, and explained everything thoroughly. Other animal hospitals in the area charge exorbitant fees for this service, and the cost was very affordable. I highly recommend them.

Dr. Burgess is great, so caring for my kitten today that I could not get an appointment until after Memorial Day or weeks down the road with other vet clinics.

Gracie went to Shelley today for her grooming. She looks great as always! She consistently does an awesome job with my 2 girls without having to sedate them. Shelley is friendly & professional. I always know they are on good hands with her!

I adore this place. I bring my Frenchie here all the time. All the people who work in this hospital are wonderful and helpful. They take such a good care of my dog and I am so thankful. They always solve his problems fast and we dont have to go back twice for the same thing. I highly recommend them.

Animal Hospital of West Nashville offers personal, caring care to my dog and to me. Dr Burgess takes her time with us and I dont feel rushed or that she is distracted when talking with me about Hudson. I switched from a clinic that was impersonal and my dog saw a different doctor every time he went. No one knew us personally and I didnt feel that my dog was getting the best care. And they were way over-priced. Very hectic and always running behind. If you like personal care for your pet, this is where I would go. Melissa M.

Dr. Burgess and the team at Animal Hospital of West Nashville are an incredible group of humans. My sweet greyhound became very sick, very quickly, and I had to make the unbearable decision to end his suffering. I considered an in-home vet but wanted it to take place outside of my apartment... since I still had to live there. Everyone at Animal Hospital of West Nashville was so kind, so gentle, and so loving with my precious boy... They even sent their condolences in the form of a beautiful red rose that was left at my doorstep. When the day comes for me to adopt another doggy, I will trust his or her care to Dr. Burgess and her staff. Thank you all so much for treating Copper like a member of your own family.

Animal Hospital West Nashville has taken wonderful care of our cats for 5 years. The hospital is clean and welcoming. Dr. Burgess is kind, and funny, and has many years of experience. She knows the health changes that can happen, especially with senior pets, and she has the curiosity and patience to put together the information to come to a diagnosis. The staff; Rhonda and Marissa, are kind, empathetic, and great assets to the hospital, and they deal marvelously with my ill-tempered feline. They always make room on the schedule for a pet that is feeling really unwell. The hospital adapted (in my perception) seamlessly to Covid measures, as our cat became a frequent flyer at the hospital this year while we got her back to feeling excellent.

Dr. Burgess and her team provide outstanding medical care and service! I was overwhelmed by their responsiveness and thoughtfulness when our 11 year-old retriever, Snow Bear, became very ill. The Animal Hospital of West Nashville team were available to guide and help us at any time - just as though we were part of their family. We have adopted a new puppy and my first call was to schedule her healthcare visit with Dr. Burgess. I wholeheartedly recommend Animal Hospital of West Nashville and am confident you will be as grateful for them as we are!!!

New clients beware. Customer service is severely lacking. Condescending when you don’t know their processes because you are a new client, even when they have failed to explain the full information you need (also failed to inform about Covid practices, wrong dog name and wrong address on forms). Long wait times, long hold times. Vindictive- held access to a prescription when they knew my dog needed it and they could have easily helped her. They DID turn my record over to another vet in a timely manner. Pulling in and out of this location is a nightmare.

Called to make a vet appointment for my dog, and the lady said they didn’t have anything opened. Sat on the phone 5mins and asked about another day, obviously Thursday is the only day I have off. Will not be going here ever. Then asked if I needed help with anything else, no dude. Won’t be going here.

I truly cannot say enough about Dr. Burgess and Animal Hospital of West Nashville. Theyve gone out of their way - quite literally - to care for our kitten, who we found abandoned outside. They made time for us to come in the day before a holiday when we finally managed to capture the kitten. 2 weeks later the kitten became ill, and Dr. Burgess came in on her day off to treat him.Im so glad to have our pets cared for here by Dr. Burgess. They have my strongest recommendation.

My pet got all the help it needed. It was not that expensive. All the staff was kind and friendly. They have kind cats in the wating lobby. I will always come here know matter how far away it is.
