I have been a patient since 2007 and always have a positive experience. We brought our 2 year old for his first visit and it could not have gone better. Everyone’s caring and calm demeanor helped our child feel at ease and they had a wonderful first time there-even asked to come back tomorrow!

After many years of dental appointments with the Roach Family Dentistry, I am still so very pleased with the uncompromising quality of care I receive. I have terrible anxiety in dentist offices. I have never felt more comfortable in any other office. The staff is so kind and Dr. Ahmad is fabulous. Rianne was so wonderful today and played my favorite music. So happy we found this place.

Definitely the place to go if you want to get a bill after the fact.My girlfriend went in for a root canal. Went over great, and they did a temporary filling. Weeks after settling the bill with the office, we get an additional bill in the mail for an 15%. Upon talking to the staff, they said that while they didnt run a pre-estimate with the insurance to make sure were all set - were going to have to cover the additional cost out of our own pocket. The office staff refused to own up to their mistake and have rolled the financial responsibility towards the patient.Avoid this kind of practice.

The staff here is top of the line. Respectful, knowledgeable, non-judgemental and it’s clear from the moment you walk in that they have your comfort and best interest in mind. Cannot recommend them enough. They empathized with me during anxious moments, and lifted my spirits and trust level with their positive attitudes and passion for what they do. I came to Roach Dentistry after receiving dental insurance from my job. It had been 8 years since I saw a dentist and I admit that, I cried during the X-ray because my anxiety was high. I kept thinking of the worst case scenario on the state of my teeth. I expected lectures and to be accosted for waiting so long to get dental care but instead I was treated with kindness and respect by every staff member I interacted with.The staff was kind and polite. They were understanding of my situation and helped create a treatment plan that worked with my budget and schedule.The office has a spa like vibe which I believe adds to the experience. No bright lights or clinical attitude here. I felt at ease with the energy. I think it’s the warm light or maybe the televisions in the treatment rooms. The person doing my X-rays was gently attentive and picked up on my “I’m anxious and don’t want to talk” energyLeah treated me well and I’m happy to have this safe comfortable practice where I can get my oral health back on track without feeling more guilty about my early 20’s dental health history

All my life I’ve been afraid to go to the Dentist biting my Dentist finger at age 5 ! Back then they gave costume rings so I was good to get my ring ! But never never liked going and always I would tense up almost having a panic attack ! But then I found Roach Dentistry and Everything changed ! A couple weeks ago I had some wisdom teeth come in and was incredibly anxious about finding a new dentist here in Nashville. Great experience! We came for my husbands dental needs (extensive) to get an evaluation and get a plan for his treatment. The staff was great, the doctor was very thorough and informative. Traveling from CT. Had a dental emergency. This office was exceptional. From the first phone call to make an appointment. When I arrived I was overwhelmed by the reception of the staff, dental assistant and the dentist. They have set the gold standard for dental care. I might even consider flying down there for routine dental care. When I was escorted to the room there was a welcome envelope along with throw blanket gift. Excellent young dentist who formulated a concise treatment plan.I called the office a week later to request they email X-rays and treatment plans to my family dentist and endodontist. No problem. It was done right away.

They were able to fit me in on very short notice and the entire staff was extremely courteous. They seemed to really care for me as a person and a patient. I couldn’t be more happy with how I was treated and cared for.

I went here for a dental emergency on a Saturday when most offices in my area were closed. They were attentive, kind, informative, and even made sure I was planning the proper follow up care with my regular dentist/endodontist. They took proper covid precautions. I would definitely recommend this office to anyone who needed care.

Dr. Waqas Ahmad, Hannah, and Jackie, one of the dental hygienists, were amazing. Dr. Ahmad I’ve known for a long time and I trust him to be upfront and honest with me. He advised me that I needed deep cleaning and he explained and showed me why I needed deep cleaning. He was detailed in his dentistry skills. Also, he was able to do a filing and made sure I didn’t have any sensitivity issues. Jackie, the dental hygienist was amazing as well. Never had someone who actually is very empathetic and understanding In terms of dentistry and customer service. She made sure I was comfortable and she gave me great advice. Overall I recommend Roach family dentistry and the staff.

Great Service- Great People- Professionalism at its Best

I needed to have some emergency work done on my teeth so I found this place online and I liked the fact that I could get in right away. Also I like the fact that they can see you on the weekend as well. I have been to several dentist throughout my life and have had some bad experiences. However from the moment I walked into this office I felt at ease. The entire staff was kind. The dental assistant was very calm and her attitude really made me feel she genuinely cared and I could tell she really wanted to make sure that all my concerns and even other things that I didnt mention right away were taken care of. Jason Cabler DDS also put me at ease. I was thinking of having some implants done and he talked to me about more affordable options to me that would give me the same if not better results. This made me feel like it wasnt all about the money and that he genuinely cared about what treatment was best for me. He was gentle with me and made sure that I was comfortable. I will be having some extensive dental work done and it is expensive however the office is working with me by setting a payment plan for me that will allow me to get the work I need done and pay over time. I am for the first time excited about getting this work done. It sounds crazy I know but I am. I would definitely recommend this office!!

As a travel nurse I have been to many dentist for cleaning, toothaches and this time it was an emergent situation. From the time the phone was answered, Anna Lee was so pleasant, helpful and compassionate about my situation. She right away booked an appointment for me. When I got there she was as I expected, cheerful, polite and very attentive. I then had Annette and Dr Riggs take care of me. They were both Outstanding. Made me feel welcomed and most importantly at ease. Dr. Riggs has excellent bedside manners and they are both compassionate about their job. This is my first visit back to the dentist ever since COVID shut us down. I am so happy to return to Roach Family Dentistry here in Green Hills. The staff not only made me feel welcomed, comfortable but also safe. They take COVID precautions very seriously and I as a patient so appreciate that. My hygienists was awesome! She made my experience comfortable, relaxing, and such a breeze to get through. I am a early patient, I love my 8 AMs, airpods in the ear with an audiobook ready to listen to. It was nice to not only enjoy and relax, but to have someone to care for me. I always say I love my dental visits but my hygienist definitely made my experience even better. She spent the time to consult with me about all of my concerns and needs during the visit. Not only did she go out of the way to meet my needs but she was very informative about the status on my dental health. The Dentist was just as awesome, he was gentle and very informative when my bottom teeth caught his attention. I am advised to prevent further wear down ( I grind at night, unfortunately) someone who grinds their teeth at night, I so appreciate it. Grinding causes me massive headaches so if there is anything I can do to better my health, I am game.Both the Dentist and hygienist worked so well together! I chose to go with the year plan, it’s so worth it. I am serious about the health of my teeth, this plan suits my needs so well. I highly recommend newcomers to look into it. I had a couple issues that were revealed during my most recent cleaning — the kind of thing that normally, I would have expected to have made another appointment to address. I feel I was taken advantage of by this dental office.I recently moved to Nashville for a new job out of college and have out of state dental insurance. I asked the front desk for advice (being new to the area and paying for my own insurance) on getting treatment and to check if my insurance would cover it. After some time passed sitting in the office, I was advised by the staff helping me to go ahead and get my x-rays and an evaluation done. A few weeks later, I was called by Dr. Roach Family Dentistry and told my insurance didnt cover my service, and hit with a huge bill I had to pay totally out of pocket.The amenities and equipment are nice, but I dont want to get medical service from a company that has burned me in the past when I was new and asking for help. Especially when they could have recommended me to try another dentist 300 feet down the road, whom I have now been with for almost 2 years (and love) after finding them on my own.

If you’re looking for a dental practice that cares about their patients look elsewhere.Appointment was placed after they had verified our insurance (Cigna) and was once again verified upon arrival for our appointment. Everyone was kind and friendly in the beginning. This changed very quickly however, mid service I was basically told to I would need to pay completely out of pocket. After trying to discuss employees were rude tried to sell me uninsured services for hundreds and told me since I was already there that I should. Terrible experience. Avoid the hassle and go somewhere more reliable.

I have extreme dental anxiety. Like extreme!!! These guys took such good care of me today. I had my back molar removed. They were patient and kind. 10 of 10 would recommend. Thanks to the dental assistant also. I forgot her name but she was from New York. She took extra good care keeping my mind off what was going on by just talking to me. Youre awesome!!!

Dr. Riggs did an AMAZING job doing resin infiltration to get rid of a white spot on my tooth! I called many dentist offices around Nashville and Roach Family Dentistry was the only place that said they could fix my tooth! Very thankful for Dr. Riggs! Will definitely be going back.

The entire staff at Roach Family Dentistry made me feel welcomed and well taken care of from the moment I walked in to the office to the end of my visit. When I was taken to my chair, there was a sweet welcome gift! My hygienist was efficient yet thorough and Dr. Riggs was informative, personable, and professional. I had a great first visit and definitely wont dread going back to the dentist when my next appointment comes up.

I only gave 5 stars because of Dr Riggs. Some of the front staff can be rude and make you want to go elsewhere. Him and his assistants are the reason i just can’t. He is so professional, gental, and genuinely cares. I’ve been running behind because of kids before and he still saw me. He doesn’t rush, he makes sure that I’m really numb. I’ve traveled all over with the Navy, and no dentist has been like him. Thanks Dr. Riggs!

I was in Roach Family Dentistry yesterday because my regular dentist has been closed due to COVID-19 & they were really welcoming & everyone there from the front desk to the dentist & his assistant who worked on me was super nice & did an amazing job. I am thankful for this office being open & being willing to see a new patient under such crazy circumstances. I would recommend them to anybody!

As weird as it sounds, I actually LIKE going to the dentist. Everyone at Roach is so kind and work hard to make you feel comfortable. Ive sent several friends their way and everyone has had a great experience. I would absolutely suggest going there!

I was still able to get a new patient consult squeezed in, and I’ll be back next week for cleaning and further follow-up. Overall, a great experience!

This has been one of the best dental offices I have been to. From the moment I walked in, Jen made sure that everything for my visit was in order and had a small welcome bag ready for me on my chair. The hygienist went through all my paperwork with me and even checked in on my personality to see if Id prefer a more gentle summary of my health or a more blunt and detailed approach. The dentist (I had Dr. Nekkanti) was kind and professional and genuinely showed that she cared. I am literally changing my insurance to go here since Im out of network. After previous nightmarish experiences with crowns and fillings at another office, I had neglected returning to a dentist until I cracked a tooth. Kristine and Dr. D. made me very comfortable with a difficult emergency procedure-2 broken teeth and a root canal. I honestly sat in the car for 25 minutes prior to the appointment and worried; ok, yes, cried. They worked me into the busy schedule, listened to my fears, and compassionately made me very comfortable while giving me options for treatment. I can honestly say I felt no pain during the procedures-pressure, but not pain. Thank you, Dr. D and Kristine! I will recommend your office to everyone!

THE WORST DENTIST VISIT EVER!I have recently taken a friend to this place 08/20/20 for an molar extraction only, WARNING! You will be told to get a (money pit call) root canal instead of anything cheaper which cost 1500..had the extraction within 1hr and 45mins.. got back home and spitting up tooth bone SHARDS from my mouth 1 hr after extraction..and was never given pain med script before leaving office.And the front room girls are RUDE !“”””” DO NOT GO TO ROACH DENTISTRY “””””

I can not express my appreciation enough for this dentist office. From start to finish it was an incredible experience. When my husband called Liz (the receptionist) was genuinely concern about my health. When we got there, before I could sit down, they brought me to the back (They were completely booked that day). I was greeted in the back by another kind woman (I hate that I forgot her name) who stayed with me the whole time. Then, Dr. Fox took amazing care of me. Finally, (I believe her name was Terry; I hope thats correct. I was in a lot of pain so it was hard to concentrate, but they completely took my pain away) the woman who cleaned out the infected area was so calming, kind, and very gentle. I really like the dentist I have now, but I will be switching because I LOVE these exceptional humans so much! I highly recommend going to see this staff- I promise you will not be disappointed! Oh! They even had a comfort list of items to choose from, had a blanket (that was a gift) waiting for me with a kind note that had my name written out on it. I almost forgot they have called me four times to check on me and make sure I was doing alright. Seriously, could you possibly have a better experience?!

By far the absolute best experience in any dental institution hands down! I have a serious fear of the dentist, and everyone was extremely accommodating. I arrived nearly an hour early, and they did not waste any time at all. Very detail oriented, but also asked me if I just wanted the bottom line. I could easily tell this was a lively bunch and full of positivity. Dr.Fox was exceedingly informative and very personable. Jessica was utterly comforting, she made it feel as if I had been using this dentistry for years. Terri was extraordinarily amazing! This is more than a dentist appointment. This is truly an experience. You are treated like a celebrity from the time you enter the door. They pay close attention to your needs and what you want for your teeth. This, has been, by far the best Dentist appointment experience I have ever encountered. On the negative, I do feel the service was better than the actual cleaning, but still very satisfied.

Awesome place super friendly staff took care of my gf tooth pulled it so quick and pain free didnt notice they were done till i seen the tooth also they do a payment plan for those short on funds great place will deffinetly be coming back

The very best of the best work here!! They are amazing!! I’m never comfortable nor willing to go to any dentist however, From Hannah and Ashley at the front desk to Dr. Roach and Annette who I allowed in my mouth lol they made sure I was completely taken care of the entire visit I felt like I was at a relaxing hotel! The staff is very friendly and accommodating. You can definitely sense the pride they all take in their work and the care the show their patients. My appointment was quick and PAINLESS! I’ve never felt so at ease at the dentist literally NEVER. 10 STARS!!!!

Not the place I wanted to be today but glad I went . Had the worst pain of my life and my dentist office wouldnt see . Called this office and from the front desk to the dentist I knew they wanted to help me ! Clean, professional and friendly- thanks for helping me get the relief I needed . God Bless !Update: Gave a 5 star until speaking with the billing department. They billed additional charges that werent on the EOB billed to my insurance. No thank you .

It would be difficult, if not impossible, to find a dental office with better professional services or a nicer staff. Have been a patient since Dr. Roach first started his practice out of dental school and have referred many people to him and his associates.

I was pleasantly surprised with how comfortable the staff made my experience both for a routine cleaning and while getting a cavity filled. The staff asked about me personally, remembered small details I had shared with them previously, and explained the procedures they were going to do. No one likes spending their time at the dentist, but Brielea, Dr. Riggs, and more made the time enjoyable!

Everyone at Roach Family Dentistry is always so welcoming, kind, and very knowledgeable. It is such an amazing feeling knowing that the dentists and hygienists taking care of my teeth are completely not judgmental, but rather genuinely concerned about my dental care. I would highly recommend them to ANYONE for all of their dental needs!!
