Best experience I have ever had at a dentist. They work quickly! I had a negative experience with other dentist/orthodontist in the area. I could not be more pleased. Everyone I encountered was amazing.
My visit to Aspen Dental has been the best dental new patient visit Ive ever experienced. From the first person I spoke with on the phone to get in for a new patient appointment, to meeting with and getting my dental x-rays done, to visiting with and having my teeth cleaned by the excellent dental hygienist there, to meeting with and conversing with the professional, kind, intelligent and supportive dentist, Dr. Reddick, Aspen Dental has been exceptional. Kudos to the entire staff at their Charlotte Pike location here in Nashville, TN! You all made my dental visit top notch! 🙃👏🤙
I had a very good experience at Aspen Dental. Everyone was friendly and professional. Everything was explained very well and I felt comfortable. It was my first time visit and was pleasantly surprised!
It was a wonderful experience. Dr. Reddick is a very efficient dentist. She went over the things that had to be addressed and we move forward from there. Cheryl the dental assistant was also incredible she went out of her way to make me feel welcome. And the other assistant Megan took my x-rays and was patient with me. Overall highly recommend
Always a great experience. Very thorough in everything they do.
THE DR THAT I SAW WAS VERY NICE AND HELPFUL. THE OFFICE STAFF WAS OK EXCEPT FOR THE LADY THAT WAS TELLING ME HOW MUCH EVERYTHING COST. WHEN I TRIED TO CALL BACK AND SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT I WAS GIVEN THE RUN AROUND. WHEN THEY FINALLY CALLED ME BACK THE WHOLE PRICE CHANGED AS TO WHAT I HAD TO PAY DOWN. THEY WOULD NOT EVEN LET ME MAKE AN APPOINTMENT UNTIL I GAVE THEM ALMOST 5000. THAT IS SOME BULL....
Avoid this company if you can! They arent very nice to deal with and make booking a new patient appointment very difficult. There are lots of other places in the area that are better quality! I didnt even end up going in to them because the experience was so terrible!
I called about a specific problem, my veneer popped off. They got me in quickly even though I was not an established patient. However, when I saw the dentist she told me she didnt do veneers, so it was really a waste of both our time. They are nice and professional. I just wished they had informed me that they didnt do veneers.
Everyone was Fantastic, helpful and Caring! With my Dental Panic, insurance..with EVERYTHING! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM.
Everyone is nice there and I instantly felt the love and concerns from each person I talked to from the time I walked through the door. I highly recommend Aspen Dental to anyone who needs professional dental care .
My first visit here was two hours long. Two hours for a first patient visit. They were late with starting my appointment, got my X-rays done, waited for a open chair, waited for the hygienist to talk to me, and waited even longer for the dentist. After all this waiting, I still never got my teeth cleaned. I am not one to complain because I understand things happen or people get busy. No one came by to tell me they were behind, no one told me it would take this long for a first patient visit. After I sat and waited for an hour and a half, I finally got up and said something to someone. When I talked to a lady at the front desk, she asked me if I talked to the manager the day prior on the phone. I said yes, but waiting two hours for a teeth cleaning was not mentioned. The dentist finally did my exam and I told her I didn’t have time to wait for my teeth cleaning because I needed to be somewhere else. The office manager sat me down to talk pricing and I politely said I’m not coming back.I am interested to see if they’ll charge my insurance for a teeth cleaning or not. If they do, it’ll be insurance fraud because I never got it done. I did ask for an electronic copy of my X-rays, haven’t received them yet. The only saving grace is that everyone was nice. I DO NOT recommend going here. Waste of time and insurance dollars.
Aspen dental recently worked up my treatment plan after a very thorough exam. Staff was helpful and friendly. The doctor explained my needed dental work and the office explained the financial end of things without rushing, taking time to answer my questions. Wow I was shocked at what my bill would.be after the very low advertised prices that brought me in.I do need extensive work but the bottom line was much too high for me to even get started. They did not mention a senior or cash discount. Won’t be starting my work right away at these prices.!!!!!! C. McCracken March 2021
Pricing is good for people paying out-of-pocket. I was able to finance a portion of my care through another party that Aspen Dental uses. (Pay monthly with no interest rate).Had a deep scaling done- holy cow their technicians are thorough! More so than my other dentist, who I thought was the best.Got a great deal on Invisalign.. I never thought I would qualify because my teeth are insanely crooked. They showed me a before and after simulation of possible results. I started crying tears of joy immediately... so time will tell if they get me to where I want to be with my mouth. I have faith in them from what I’ve seen so far.Thank you West Nashville Aspen Dental staff! You’re all so compassionate and patient. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a new dentist!
The staff was very professional and the service was affordable. I had a consultation and will definitely return for the rest of my dental needs.
My experience was great. The staff made me feel very comfortable. I do plan on going back as soon as l can to have the work done on my teeth. Thank u so more
This was an awful experience. I made an appointment for a cleaning, It took a very long time to be seen. once I was seen, I was told they wouldn’t have time for a cleaning that day!? I was also quoted $6000 for a cleaning!!! $6000!! They suggested all kinds of special medications and deep cleaning procedures, I get regular cleanings so I have no idea where this was coming from. I then received a bill for services that I never received. It took nearly three months to clear that up, because every time I called and was told it was being taken care of, but would then receive a bill in the mail the next month. The only upside is that everyone who works there is very friendly.Edit: shout out to Kat who was the first person to finally (and very politely and efficiently) help me with the bill.
I had a wonderful experience! The staff is friendly and welcoming. The Dentist and Hygienist made me feel comfortable and at ease. I would recommend anyone to visit this office 😁
Friendly staff and people working there. Take all precautions with covid so always felt safe. Great technicians very knowledgeable and explain in great detail so you understand everything thats going on. Would highly recommend to anyone.
Dr.Reddick and her staff are THE BOMB! I went to several dentist that couldn’t pull a tooth that she pulled in minutes no pain no complications. Súper friendly bubbly uplifting assistants. Grateful for this team. I’m giving them a 100 out of 100
Im going to have to give 2 stars. I went to Aspen Dental to have one of my teeth pulled. This was an emergency as my tooth was killing me and I needed it pulled as soon as possible. I was considered a walk in because I had no appointment. I dont have insurance and was turned away at first. I basically started begging because my head was hurting SO bad I couldnt walk out without getting tooth pulled. I had been laid off a couple months earlier because of virus and seriously only had around 230 dollars in the bank but I told them I had cash and they all of the sudden had an appointment open up. I mean like right then. WOW right? I gave them the last 200 I had in the world and they pulled my tooth 10 minutes later. I was checking out about 25 minutes later and the receptionist asked if I wanted to schedule my appointment and I was confused at first. I had gotten my tooth out. She said that a checkup was included in what I had just paid. I told her I would call and schedule it later when I found out a good time. Now! I never called. I never scheduled an appointment. 3 months later I get a bill for 200 for having my tooth pulled. I just thought it was a mistake so wasnt very concerned. couple weeks later I get bill again and saying some things about collecting. I called and asked about it and was told I owe for the checkup I never scheduled and had supposedly paid for with my initial visit. Now. This is past aggravating! Still not done with this. if you go here keep receipts and keep your eyes open
I found the medical staff to be very competent and personable. I found the administrative staff to be less friendly and that payment and costs were not very transparent despite questions and discussion during scheduling of the appointment. Returning would not be my first choice but I am satisfied with the dental care I received overall.
Dr. Reddick and her hygienist were amazing!! I had 2 teeth extracted with no pain! She listened when I told her it hurt, and made sure she gave me more anesthetics to make sure I did not feel a thing. I will be going back and recommending my family and friends!
I have been three times to Aspen Dental, and Ive always had great experiences there. Any time I had questions they were very helpful in answering them. I get a great feeling from their team, the people just seem really easy to interact with. Felt very safe due to their new Covid protocols during my last visit there. Highly recommend :)
I had a great experience at Aspen Dental. Everyone at the office was so kind and professional. I am a bit of a baby when it comes to pain, but they made sure I was as comfortable as possible before they took my wisdom tooth out. They also came to check in on me every now and then and let me know every step of the process to make sure I was not in the dark. I would recommend this place 100%.
Everyone was so nice and thoughtful and understanding. My experience was awesome and I appreciate all involved in resolving my issues plus making my birthday special. Thank you everyone.
I had the best experience at the Nashville west location that Ive ever had at a dentist office in my life!I went in for a consultation and they were extremely thorough and professional and super nice they spent 3 hrs with me working on a plan I could afford and I left feeling pleasantly surprised and hopeful for the fist time in years And I’m soo excited to get started on having a beautiful new white smile..I went in expecting the same results as other dentists for a smile makeover thinking I may have to get dentures and these beautiful people gave me so much hope and confidence and just took the time to really help me and I’m just so thankful...if you need small or major dental work done this is the place, they are so affordable they will really help you and that is a rare thing these days! Give them a call you won’t be disappointed!
Everyone was very kind, but professional! Procedures were explain step by step. Now and made me feel self-conscious even though its been years since Ive been to a dentist. I really appreciate the staff at Aspen Dental and recommend them to my friends!
DO NOT GO HERE!! This place is a scam! I was new to the area and I needed an emergency filling. I talked to someone on the phone who assured me they could fix my filling in one visit. I just got a new insurance plan and all my services should have been covered. When I got there, they spent over an hour taking endless x-rays, 3d images, etc. of my entire mouth and some kind of scan that seemed completely pointless. I had been goin to the dentist every 6 months where I previously lived and I kept telling them I only needed a tooth filled because my filling cracked, but they insisted. Then a guy came around to check my gums with a tool and gave me an entire sales pitch on how I have periodontal disease. I would need scaling and plaining ($800). What really made me suspicious was when he gave the exact same pitch to the young guy in the next room over. Exact same words and he wasnt the dentist. Then a different guy came in (the dentist) to tell me that they couldnt do any repair to my fillings UNTIL I had a scaling & plaining ($800 procedure). And that would also be 2 separate visits before they could fill my tooth. After being in there 2 hours, I got nothing fixed, nothing done except endless x-rays and a sales pitch, and felt extremely suspicious of the diagnoses.I went for a second opinion somewhere else the next day and I was assured, I DO NOT have periodontal disease. I was able to get a filling that day to fix the one that cracked. They did not have to scale and plane my gums. As a matter of fact, he said I have relatively healthy gums.To top it off, I got a bill from Aspen for $59 for part of the endless x-rays and scans that my insurance didnt cover. Im sure that was part of the plan. So, nothing done and a $59 bill to boot!Avoid this place guys! They are clearly filling a quota. They are clearly misdiagnosing people.
Horrible experience went there with a seriously bad toothache and all they did was x-ray my mouth granted my teeth are pretty bad from 45+ years of smoking thought they would pull it out but no all they could talk about was trying to get me to go in debt for dentures and sent me home still in seriously bad pain and said come back in a week needless to say I will never go there again
All representatives were pleasant. There was not enough space for people who came early and had no car. The waiting time to be served once back in the chair with long. There were periods between being Served that was a long. The doctor took quite a bit of time to come and examine my teeth. I think that he would it help for lunch. Everything was good except for that period
My experience couldn’t have been better! All the staff was so great and took great care of me. I absolutely love Dr.Reddick she really took the time to explain all that was going on with me.
Marian, my hygienist, is outstanding!!! She is motivating and proactive in helping me to maintain good dental hygiene.
Had a really good experience, they were very thorough & patient in answering all my questions. They are very flexible in coming up with a plan to get my dental care back on track after 5-6 years MIA from the dentist office. Overall great staff hands down & most enjoyable dentist visit i have EVER had.
Dr. Riddick is a wonderful dentist and you need to do everything possible to ensure that she stays with you. I am however unhappy with my bottom partial. Also the people that make these expensive partials did not follow directions and they had to go back to have a tooth added. The people in your office are very, very nice and try their hardest to make a patient feel comfotable.
My procedure was so professional, courteous and pain free. The entire staff exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend Aspen Dental, especially Dr. Reddick.
Took a little time but they were really busy but still they worked me in when I was in major pain. The staff were very friendly and professional.
Thanks to all of the conscious citizens that left a review. You probably saved me from a painful ordeal. Interesting that only the very negative reviews got thumbs up. That tells me there are actually people who relate to this story. So a medical business that operates this way is committing violence and serious intentional harm against human beings. These practices are unlawful, and based on these testimonies, these offices and any and ALL dentists and medical offices that practices in the way should be investigated, sued, closed, and have their assets seized then returned to the humans that were so violently mistreated. I ask the Great Spirit of Mother Earth and the Heavenly Ethers to support my words and help us create good and pure dentists establishments to help human beings in their healing path. thanks
My experience at Aspen Dental located in Hermitage, TN was AMAZING ! Everyone was very nice and super helpful. I’ll definitely be back for any of my dental needs. 100% recommended and don’t forget your mask— they not playing about that!
Every single person there is amazing. I’ve been treated so well by them.
Dr. Reddick wonderful had a tooth pulled this morning did not feel no pain
Dont be fooled by the $19 X-Rays and Assessment. I was in between insurance policies and had a filling come out. It was the first time I was uninsured and used google to find an affordable option to get a quick assessment and fix. At first it was heartwarming to believe there is a dentist who helps low income and uninsured get care - I was naive. My first appointment was X-Rays and Assessment. I go to the dentist regularly so was surprised to hear from them I had a three new cavities that needed attention and was presented an estimate of over $600 even with their coupon discount. I explained I was not prepared to spend that much due to Covid-19 underemployment and that I would like to simply get the cavity that fell out taken care of. I was told that it was required to get the $86 cleaning on top of the $228 filling. I tried multiple times to talk to the office before coming in for my follow up appointment about the work I would like to put off until another date, but no one ever got back to me and I continued to get their voicemail when I called. I even emailed with the office manager who was responsive, until it came to negotiating my care. Once I started to write him about the cost of the care with questions about urgency, etc, I never heard back. I showed up the morning for my filling and surprised the dentist when I kept having to repeat that I only wanted one tooth addressed today - they still had a full order for everything despite calling and leaving messages and emailing to give them a heads up in advance. I got the cleaning and then waited over an hour numbed up for a dentist to fill the tooth. The order was still confusing and luckily the dentist asked before starting work otherwise the wrong tooth would have been worked on. Two weeks later the filling they had done started to feel weird, then started to ache. I emailed office manager to ask their policy on redoing the filling if it had failed. He responded without a policy and for me to call the office. I played phone tag for days. Finally I connected with a woman who asked me when I was available to come in. I paused and told her before I commit to coming back in I wanted to understand their payment policy as I did not want to pay them another. $200+ to redo the filling. I wanted assurance that I would not be taken advantage. We spoke in circles for several minutes, landing on the statement that there is no policy and that I would just need to come in and see. I understand that if for some reason the service needed was different that I would need to pay for that but it seemed weird to me that there is not a policy for services rendered that fail within such a short period of time. I wanted to know what to expect and she could not help me trust this dentist and so I sought another opinion elsewhere. I went to a new dentist and got new Xrays, a new cleaning, and assessment. Turns out that the filling does need to be redone - something was done done correctly, the cleaning was not done well, and those other cavities Aspen told me I needed werent even detected! I would have spent another $400+ getting cavities treated that werent necessary! Futhermore, beware of their out of pocket pricing. The same tooth out of pocket at a different non-chain dentist with a good, longstanding reputation is $160 compare to $228. Aspen Dental is not the quality low cost healthcare I was naive to believe. Do not get treatment here - take the time to make a few more phone calls to get out of pocket pricing and read reviews. This office has an F on BBB. I even emailed the manager to request to settle this dispute directly and he told me that email is a bad way to get a hold of him and call. Customer service here is a joke and I am done playing phone tag. I simply want to settle with a refund for the unsatisfactory service and move on. Since its been such a headache, I am taking to reviews to warn others.
Nice and clean cost more than I expected.
No Services Completed, so any attempt to rate services at this point would be futile
This office staff is very sweet and professional! They really work with you in all different aspects of treatment and what’s best for you and not them. They did not half treat me like they didn’t care. Highly recommend!
I highly do not recommend them. They are over charging people and adding services u do not need. Don’t waste your time or money...
The staff was really considerate and friendly. Thats the only reason Aspen Dental got the star. The company policies !!!!!!and this is only an assumption ....and you know what that means lol......are not to meet any customer needs at the issue that are are having due to the visit. I spent two full hours of xrays, facial scanning and hygiene reports. I was given a $4700 dental plan to give to my insurance company. My abscessed tooth was not addressed except on my walking out of the establishment. I was then handed a referral to a dental surgeon and was told Aspen Dental didnt handle root canals. I didnt even receive antibiotics for my infected tooth. In my opinion this is not a satisfactory establishment.
The dentist wouldn’t listen to me. Therefore I have to get a second opinion.
Im writing this to you to inform of three employees that I came in contact with at your west Nashville store. Lakesha, the receptionist was extremely professional and respectful with each and every customer. Cheyenne, very pleasant and professional, answered all questions in a great way. Tribute, took my impressions, didnt hurt me and was very tender with her touch. And the manager of this place is a dream to work with very helpful. Great experience with Aspen Dental. Thanks for listening.
The name of the game is up sale, up sale, up sale. I got the feeling I was at a car lot... Fyi, if you guys are reading this, I could hear you laughing and joking about me through the wall before you brought me into that creepy room with the girl that tells you youre family after 30sec of meeting you. The same room where yall add up all the charges.. She even tried to finance me for a $29 purchase... it wasnt that I didnt have the 2k for a crown and cleaning, its that cleanings dont cost $1000 and all youre getting for that deep clean is high pressured water and basically fancy mouth wash? The game is to get you in there with the thought that youre saving money but once youre in its actually more expensive then a reputable dentist. But hey! Theyll finance you for it! Believe the people that say dont waste your time. In retrospect I did save money on the X-rays, I guess. Wasnt planning on writing a review but yall asked.
I have seen a lot of high-dollar dentists, but I have never had the excellent exp, erience that I had when I went to Aspen Dental. Everyone from the dental hygienist who cleaned my teeth to the dentist himself who took care of my problem - and were not finished yet - put put me at ease, I I am so impressed at the professionalism, courtesy and respect that I received at Aspen. I am truly grateful after having gone through years of bad Dental experiences even from the high-dollar dentists. My experience was absolutely stellar. Im grateful to have decided to go there and have such a wonderful experience.
Im delighted with the experience with Aspen Dental. My wisdom tooth removal was pretty fast and easy. Office manager, attendant, nurses and doctor Dr. Adnan Hossain were amazing on everything. Thanks for great treatment.
Out of the 2 times I’ve been to Aspen Dental on Charlotte Pk, I’ve received quality care from everyone who works there. The front desk staff were pleasant to me and flexible even though I got my appointment time wrong. Excellent hygienist- Mariann; she is very knowledgeable about dentistry and sensitive to my pain tolerance. Dr. Hussein is one of the most polite and easy-going doctors I’ve ever experienced. He is very good at explaining the information about my mouth so that I can make the best decision for me.
Everybody in the office is great, they worked really fast to get everything I needed done. They did great work and are very friendly! I will defiantly be telling all my friends who need dental work done about this place. They were really great with me!
Everything was very professional and helpful.
Excellent Dental Clinic... but...
This was my 3rd visit to an Aspen Dental office. The first 2 visits were in Kentucky. By far the staff at the west Nashville office was the best experience I’ve had. Going in I had very low expectations because of my visits to the other offices. However west Nashville has redeemed Aspen Dental for me. Thank you so much for the care and kindness you showed me.
Great staff!!! Very professional and caring. Gave options to choose from for your treatment plan. They made me very comfortable.😁👍
Every single employee was extremely professional and polite! It definitely made a great dental experience for me!
I was a first-time patient with Aspen Dental yesterday and the service was outstanding. When I called Aspen Dental, Rebecca and another person were courteous and very concerned about my dental issues and schedule an appointment for me for the same day. When I arrived for my appointment, the Receptionist, the Dental Tech, the Hygienist, the Dentist, and all of the office staff that assisted me were very professional, knowledgeable, and kind.
Overall a great experience here. Megan is a wonderful hygienist and you can tell that she really cares about her patients. She is compassionate and patient when it comes to explaining your treatment plan. I highly recommend her when you visit this office. Dr. Rahman is also professional and courteous. He does not talk down to you or make you feel guilty like some dentists do when it comes to neglecting to floss or just maintaining your dental hygiene. They are a great team and you cant go wrong by seeking out their care.
Wasn’t very happy since I had gotten some fillings redone, which messed up my bite a lil bit and it hurts on one side to chew. I went back the same day I got those taken care of and couldn’t even be looked at or couldn’t get it taken care of that same day once I wasn’t numb anymore. I have to wait till my third appointment for it to get taken care of 🥴
Most everyone was very kind, however two young ladies thought it would be okay to laugh at my responses to their questions about how I take care of my teeth. Not very professional to laugh at a patient. Also, at the end of the visit all they seemed to care about was when I was making another appointment. I just went for a referral for my wisdom teeth to be removed. Overall people are nice, just a chain company.
They ripped the creases of my mouth using and forcing too large of equipment into my mouth. Also the dental room had over flowing trash and was not very clean. The promise of a free exam and x-ray was contingent on my having a procedure done, but nobody told me, until check out... Definitely not the treatment theyre charging for.
Everyone there are easy to work with!! My teeth were literally crumbling apart. It was due to the blood pressure medication. My mouth was constantly like the Sahara Desert and I always had a bottle of water with me wherever I would go. I only had about 6 teeth left on top. I definitely wasnt smiling a lot.But Im sure smiling a lot more these days!! I didnt realize how much I had withdrawn from being around people. The finance office was more than helpful and I was able to secure financing with reasonable payments. It can sometimes sting a bit when I make the payments, but I will be smiling everyday now!!!
Everyone in this office is so nice. I was so impressed! The staff truly felt committed to making sure i was comfortable and happy. Megan was great! She was just so sweet and made my visit so enjoyable! (Make sure you ask for her, you can thank me later!) Going to the dentist always seems like such a chore, but this office made it more fun. Thank you Aspen Was Nashville! You guys ROCK!
Absolutely the best experience I have had in a dental office. Everyone was as nice as could be. Explained everything that was going to be done. I live in Nevada but travel all the time. I will make it a point to use this dental office. Thank you very much!
I am a new patient here and I absolutely love this office! Everyone is kind and professional. They take you back very close to your scheduled appointment time which is huge. I hate going to your appointment on time and not being seen for like half an hour. My husband had an appointment as well and they actually called us to let us know they were ahead of schedule and that we could come early. Megan, the dental hygienist who did my cleaning, was so sweet and fun to chat with. My teeth felt and looked great. She answered all my questions honestly. The office manager (I’m so sorry I forgot her name) really took her time to explain our benefits and helped us with our payment options. For someone who hates going to the dentist I have to say I’m looking forward to another cleaning in 6 months! They have earned our business for sure!
I can’t remember everyone names but the dentist, the lady that did Xray’s and the hygienist that cleaned my teeth were absolutely amazing 😇 it’s been several years since I’ve been to the dentist and they were wonderful in not making me feel bad. They were friendly, kind and passionate to my feelings of not being to a dentist in years. Their personalities were were so pleasant and I was happy to have them work on my mouth. Thank you all 🥰
I know this is a long review but please read through it so you wont become a victim of this dental office. I tried to write this after I cooled down for a few days so I can give an honest review.I sat in the waiting room for almost 2 hours for my cleaning appointment. When I asked the receptionist how long I had to wait she was rude and snappy and said I could reschedule for next month. When they did get me back they took 20 x-rays that were very uncomfortable. The nurse blamed it on my mouth shape. After the x-rays I had cuts on my gums.I waited in the chair for another hour before a hygienist saw me. She told me my gums were bleeding which was because of the x-rays that they took. I was told I wasnt going to get my cleaning that day because they will have to treat my bleeding gums.I sat there for another 30 minutes and then a doctor came in. He didnt seem very confident and would say something and then would try to correct himself. At first he said I needed 12 fillings and then corrected himself and said some of those fillings needed crowns and bridges and then said it was likely he would have to do root canals. I have no pain and I take care of my teeth. After being told I need a lot of dental work I was sat down with a lady to sell me the treatment that the doctor and hygienist said I needed. I have good insurance so I expected maybe a couple of hundred dollars. Even after all my insurance they wanted to charge me $10,000 that ill have to pay before anything got done. They would use up all my insurance by the time they started the first crown. She was more than happy to sign me up in a payment plan which would charge a high amount of interest which I would be paying off the rest of my life. They she started negotiating with me about discounts they offer and at one point asked how much money I had so she can modify my treatment plan to fit my income and savings. When I declined the treatment I was berated and told if I dont get this done my teeth would hurt and my teeth would fall out. I was getting very upset at this time and I just wanted to leave. I have been at the office for almost 5 hours now and still did not get any cleaning done and they made me feel bad about myself. On my way out I heard another patient crying about the pain they caused her and they were telling her she owed money and couldnt help her until she paid. I sat in my car and tried to process all this.I called another dental office in the area to get a second opinion.I was given an appointment the next day. I went to that office and they got me back on time and I got a cleaning and was told I had 2 cavities which I had filled the same day. I was out there in an hour and only had to spend $40 after insurance. They saved me from a lot of time, pain, and money in a dental office that Aspen wanted to inflict on me.Please learn from my experience and do not go to Aspen dental. They sell you unneeded dental work and are very rude. They take advantage of our ignorance in dentistry and our understanding of financing for dental treatment to make sure they get suck out every dollar you have. They do not have you health in their best interest.
They charge roughly 8 times as much as independent dentists for the same services. (I.e. a cleaning at my current dentist is $25 after insurance; Aspen estimated nearly $200 after insurance.) If you dont agree to those prices after your free new patient appointment, they send you a bill for over $100 for that free assessment after the fact. The actual dentists and technicians may be fine, but their business model is questionable at best in my opinion. Avoid.
Where do I begin?? The Dentist was very nice and caring. However, the Lab leaves a lot to be desired! My daughter had 2 teeth extracted yesterday and was told to please try and wear the partial, but it had an arch that should not have been there. We were very disappointed! The prong was put in wrong and there was no way to hold it in her mouth! Now we have to go through the process of the molding again. Horribly inconvenient and anguish for my daughter who already has numerous medical issues. We will never come back to the Dickson Aspen again! Hopefully this issue will be addressed and no one will go through what she went through!
.....INCOMPENTENT.....I WILL BE FILING A COMPLAINT WITH THEIIR CORPORTE HEADQUARTERS AND CEO....AND FILING COMPLAINTS WITH THE PROPER AUTHORITIES
Since it’s been several years since I’ve been to a dentist this was the BEST experience I’ve ever had. Everyone was pleasant, friendly and compassionate to my fear of needles. Office was clean and everyone was happy 😃 and in a good mood, because when you have employees that’s not happy then their unpleasant attitude shows up in their spirit.
Great experience here!!!! Best dental hygienist I’ve ever had she does a phenomenal job. Mariam was very informative and easy with my teeth. I just love her, I shall see you in six months.
Excellent staff
First visit. Great experience. The x-ray experience was much more comfortable than previous dentists Ive been to. The dentist with through my x-rays and explained them to me thoroughly. Everyone was very nice to me. Looking forward to going back.
Ms. Angie Landon did NOT represent your brand well. She began requesting a first name basis for the business transaction, which I firmly declined . The rest of my interaction, with her, declined into a display of non professional behavior by Ms. Landon. The visit was redeemed by a true professional, Ms. Lakesha Cunningham, who conducted business inside my Aspen Dental familiar-- EXTREMELY PROFESSIONAL and CARING.
My name is Sandy Gilbert. I was a new patient yesterday at the Charlotte Aspen location. Thinking I was going in for a cleaning and to check on a tooth with sensitivity, just an in and out visit. 6 hours later I left. Every person I encountered there was extraordinarily amazing. Rose, Marlin, the nice gal who figured my bill up and especially Dr Reddick. I ended up having higher than normal blood pressure so they had to keep a close eye on that and I needed a procedure for gum issues and a new crown. Old age creeps up and things need fixing. They managed to work in both of these procedures in one day in addition a very through new patient counsel. I call them my superheros for the care and service they provided me yesterday. I do know that Marlin and Dr Reddick skipped lunch that day to make it happen, in addition to caring for their many other patients. If you can believe a 6 hour visit with many needles and drills in your mouth a pleasant experience.... hard to imagine, however mine was. This staff is excellent, personable and caring. I can highly recommend this team of Aspen staff.
My Very First Experience was Great didnt have to wait Long at all. Dr. Hossain was Great He explained my Procedures that would take place and made sure I understood going forward. Getting my teeth cleaned was a Breeze I was given injections felt nothing. Looking forward to my future procedures with them.
Awful experience. I was told to be there 20 minutes before my appointment and waited almost an hour after my appointment to be called back. I was asked for a “copay” for a basic cleaning that was covered by insurance. I was finally taken back, given X-rays, and then had two people prod around in my mouth to give me a “treatment plan.” My “treatment plan” was being told to come back for a cleaning and two cavities. I had already taken off work for this appointment which I was supposed to be getting a cleaning at. I was sat down with the office manager to be told a price and to book another appointment. I told her I shouldn’t have been charged a copay and she rudely told me I was wrong. I told her three other people in my family had gotten their cleanings this year elsewhere and had not been charged. She then proceeded to tell me they must have paid after. Three hours after walking into Aspen for a cleaning I walked out with one and immediately called my insurance and was reassured I was correct and shouldn’t have been charged. I’m now fighting with them to get my money back. I went to another dentist and they said I didn’t have any cavities and didn’t charge me anything. Save yourself the headache and three hours and go elsewhere.
While the care I received from my dentist and dental hygienist is up to par, I have to have a few notes on the inefficiency of this dental office1. When I called and made an appointment as a new patient, they got most of my personal information (name, birthdate, insurance etc). After making an appointment, I subsequently received an email to confirm appointment and fill out detailed patient forms online—some of the information being repetitive.2. I get a text message to arrive 15 minutes early for my 8 am appointment. I stood outside the office (in rainy weather), waiting for someone to unlock and open the office, which they graciously did at 8:07. And didn’t at the very least acknowledge or apologize for opening the office late.3. Once I signed in I was asked to manually fill out the same forms that I electronically filled out. Why have the patient waste their time with the online one?4. When I called the local office (not 1-800 number) to schedule my appointment, I asked if they could schedule me as a new patient and if I could have a dental cleaning done, to which the receptionist on the phone responded yes. Yet after my x-rays and gum check, I was told that I needed to make another appointment for the cleaning. Thankfully, I was able to have the cleaning done after pushing to have it done on the same visit.I respect that the office has procedures that they follow with scheduling, but the front desk staff needs to clearly communicate that cleanings and new patient evaluations cannot be done on the same day when new patients call for appointments.
This is my second time going, and the second time my dental hygienist made me feel bad about my teeth. I wanted to give her a second chance, and it was better this time, but I still left feeling bad. I mentioned that I drink coffee, and she said, I can tell. She didnt cover my face at all when she was cleaning it with tools and water, so she had to wipe my face constantly all the way up to my eyes. She said, good thing youre not wearing makeup. I was actually. And then asked if I chewed on one side of my mouth over the other. And The dentist came and said my teeth looked great. So I wont be returning.
Whoever answers the phone at this location should be replaced. She doesnt answer your questions. Its like she doesnt want my business. Very rude on the phone. Very short. Wouldnt help at all. Thats fine. Ill take my cash elsewhere.
The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. They worked with me and went out of their way to make my budget work. I could tell they genuinely cared about my pain and helping me on the path to better oral health. As for the actual extraction it was amazingly quick and completely painless. Its only been one day and I already feel so much better than I did with the infected tooth. Thanks so much to the amazing staff at Aspen! Ill be back!
I just had my 1st visit here and went in with an unbearable toothache! The people were really nice and the dentist had my tooth out in about 1-2 minutes!! Im not even kidding when I say hes done better than ANY other dentist and I felt nothing but a little pressure as promised! Highly recommend this place, at least the one in this location!
Very professional staff they make the visit quick and painless as possible. They take time to explain any procedure you might have and work with you on payment options. I had a molar removed, in and out it took longer to do paper work no mus no fuss. Making this place my go to for dental needs.
There seems to be a similar pattern forming with all of the 1 star reviews of this place. Young, attractive females with perfectly healthy mouths can be talked into unnecessary and overpriced procedures without due consultation or evaluation over a duration of time. It is easy to shock someone into immediately spending whatever it will take when professionals tell them they have periodontal disease which will follow them for LIFE! Seriously, after looking at my wifes perfectly healthy mouth, they put enough fear and shame in her that I did not find out until she was multiple visits in and she started getting that uh-oh feeling about the appointments. It started when my wife scheduled a routine cleaning at the office. She did not get one on the day of her first appointment - which was all that she wanted. Instead, she was told she had advanced periodontal disease and sent to see the business guy who scheduled her for a series of appointments and procedures. Please note she has excellent dental hygiene and was having no pain or inflammation whatsoever. She just decided to switch dentists due to changes in our dental plan and found these people online. She encountered high pressure sales tactics which should never be part of a medical practice especially when it includes diagnosing you of something you do not have. After some multi-appointment deep cleaning procedures, a tooth filling, and follow ups, they also sent her home with some very overpriced mouthwash. Luckily at one point she inquired further about one of the bills over $600 and learned that it included a $160 toothbrush which she did not ask for or need... we both have oral b electric toothbrushes already. At that point I think she knew this was all adding up to something far more than she had asked for and talked to me about the visits and the bills.Upon learning about all of this (unfortunately a little too late) they had already racked up enough visits and sales on her to cost us nearly $1,000 outside of what insurance would pay. I spoke with my brother who is a dentist and he had a lot to share. These types of tactics are becoming all too common in dental offices around the country. She will not be going back and I am glad they did not get the opportunity to permanently affect her teeth any more than the single filling performed - which frustratingly enough has been giving her sensitivity on that tooth since. Having gone in with no issues prior to her visits, this saddens me more than it angers me.
Everyone here was friendly and the office was clean. However, they ran my insurance and I was told that $3K of the $7K that I would have to pay would be covered. After getting the work done I found that they were wrong and I was responsible for all of the $7K. Fast forward 2 years and I have paid it all off, only to find that one of my root canals was not done properly and there is an abscess in my gums. I hope sharing this experience will save someone else from the pain that I am going through.
Best Dental experience I have ever had!I had been to several other dentists prior to Aspen concerned about the severity of my teeth, but I just did not get an assessment that matched my concerns. It was Lets crown this, We can fix this fracture without a crown, and that was all. Then I went to Aspen. They used the best tech to x-ray my mouth, the hygienist and dentist were upbeat, positive, caring and they educated me using a multimedia presentation that included my x-rays, the measurements, literature/handouts, and a diagnosis. It was as bad if not worse than I thought it was, but it was also a relief because a) they finally addressed all of my fears, and b) they had a treatment plan that made perfect sense. Then, I received counselling from a dedicated team member who not only gave me a total, but a complete breakdown of pricing, a timeline, insurance coverage and discounts, etc, including how much was due when and how far apart one payment was from another. They also gave me finance options. Everything was neat, clean, professional, and, ironically, encouraging, because I know my body. Ive been in multiple situations where an MD/DDS diagnosis isnt spot on. You get that feeling. So, FANTASTIC job, Aspen Dental Team at 6702 Charlotte Pike! Everyone from the receptionist to the x-ray tech to the hygienist to the dentist to the financial aid counselor was SPECTACULAR! Ill definitely be back...along with my 3 kids and spouse!
I am writing this review as a warning to anyone that is considering going to this place. DO NOT USE THIS BUSINESS. If you have ever bought a used vehicle from a shady used car salesman this is what this experience was like. This is the only negative review Ive ever written. Their billing practices are Sketchy. DO NOT USE THIS BUSINESS. Look at all the 1 star reviews. THIS PLACE IS A SCAM !!!!!
Very gentle and kind! The entire staff was amazing and caring!.....and no judgement passed. Recomend to anyone and everyone!
I rarely ever write reviews but I know I had to document the way this corporation does business. I came to the realization that every time I went to Aspen for a basic cleaning and x-ray exam, I was unknowingly paying for services that I did not truly need. Knowing the details of your insurance is key to knowing what is covered, and where your money is going. I decided to take a look at all of my statements from Aspen since my first appointment. I noticed that there were treatment codes added to my bill that I was unaware of and those happened to be the ones that my insurance did not cover. Most insurance plans will 100% cover diagnostic and preventive treatment including two sets of x-rays and two cleanings per year (1 x-ray exam and 1 cleaning per 6-month period). Aspen included extra treatment codes, and I never explicitly asked for these supplemental treatments. They just made it seem like these were covered, especially the way it was incorporated into my appointment. That’s why I decided to do my research and call my insurance company to ask them some questions. When I asked the front desk staff at my last appointment, which was about a week ago, why these “extra treatments” are included in a basic cleaning when I did not explicitly ask for them, she went ahead and told me, “Our system auto-generates these treatments codes for a basic cleaning and recall exam.” So, if you are expecting a personalized treatment plan...DON’T. You literally have to tell them to take out these extra codes and double check what you’re paying for out of pocket vs. what your insurance pays for. Aspen should have been transparent with me by discussing all treatment options prior to services being rendered. From suggesting an expensive toothbrush during my first consultation appointment to adding unnecessary treatment to my bill is so low. That’s why they ask you to pay up front for the procedure before you’re seated. Then they send you a bill later on telling you what else you owe. Why aren’t patients given a breakdown of what they’re paying for beforehand? When you look online at Aspen Dental reviews, you see A LOT of bad ones and I honestly never knew why. I tried to give them a chance. I now see why people think they are scammers. That marked the last time I would ever receive treatment from there.A note to Aspen Dental:If I could leave negative stars, I would. The amount of despicable reviews I have read and turned a blind eye to for so long turned out to be true. Overall, the dentists you employ seem to be knowledgeable and easy going. However, you have a very dishonest way of doing business. Initially, I was drawn in by the nice office, the ads, and the discounted rates. Little did I know, this is your way of attracting a patient pool and billing people for treatment that they simply do not need. Much do I know now. I will never deal with another Aspen Dental again. Please do better and make an effort to incorporate the “Veracity” principle of the American Dental Association’s Code of Conduct.
My experience was absolutely the best. After searching for several weeks for a full service dental facility yes I have found it. I am so looking forward to make next visits which will be my cleanings. Thank you Dr. Satham, Nicki, Meagan and Angie for being so kind
Every one was so nice the times l the been to Aspen has been wonderful l have told everyone about yall have a great Thanksgiving
My first visit was very nice.Exam and x rays of my teeth were very thorough.Dental Chair and Examining room was clean.Bathroom was clean.Cleanliness is what I look for in all Doctor and Dental offices and what methods they use to prevent the spread of diseases. Thanks Aspen for meeting my expectations.Alice Howard
First visit there and I felt like they had known me for years. Very upbeat and personable. They explained everything they were doing. What needed to be done in future visits and went over pricing. Absolutely love it there and will never go anywhere else.
D Not Go Here!! I had 2 root canals done last spring at the location on Charlotte pike in Nashville. Went back 3 times after because the tooth was bothering me(was not before the root canal) only for them to tell me they didnt see anything wrong with it. Finally went to another dentist only to find out they missed a root and I need another root canal that my insurance will not pay the $2500 for.
Very patient and caring staff! They were polite, professional and kept me informed throughout my entire visit. I will definitely continue to go back as well as recommend them to my family/friends.
The people are nice enough but the work theyve done so far has been terrible. I really wish I could get my money back and go elsewhere. It literally looks like some kid just stuck two chicklets in for my front teeth. They dont take pride in their work just rush you in and out and I have to look like this for THREE weeks before my next visit. Extremely disappointed and highly recommend going elsewhere
I had a very positive experience. Upon entering your office I was greeted with a smile and made to feel comfortable. I received the same care from all those I came in contact with. I did recommend you all to several of my family members who do not have a regular dentist I will see you in June. Thanks for the VERY GOOD JOB YOU DO!!! Shirley McNabb
