I have been going to Nashville Family Dentistry for several years now. I started going there because we were living out of the country and my regular dentist was closed during our home visit at Christmastime. I loved Dr. Elliott and his staff so much that I continued going to their office when we moved back home. They continue to give great service and are kind and professional. I also have some TMJ issues, which Dr. Elliott has managed with great care and concern. I highly recommend Nashville Family Dentistry.

As crazy as this sounds, I dont mind going to the dentist when its with Dr. Elliott and his staff. Everyone is very professional, but what makes them different is that they like to have fun. The entire staff is very personable, and while they take their work very serious, their demeanor puts you at ease. Ive had extensive work done at the hands of Dr. Elliott, but yet I dont hesitate to go back.If youre in search of a dentist that you can trust, give them a try. You wont be sorry.

I dont live in Nashville anymore, but in the few years that I did I came to love to quality service of Nashville Family Dentistry. The staff are very friendly and knowledgable, and they dont expect you to pay for procedures unless you truly need them. I was beyond surprised after my second visit of the year when the hygienist had remembered details of my personal life and in our conversation. They do a remarkable job and make a great connection with each of their patients.

I had to get a new crown this past October and of course my insurance covered part of it and I had to cover the rest. Last week I accidentally chewed down on an unpopped popcorn kernel in just the right spot that caused my new crown to crack in half. After.Dr. Elliott told me I would have to get a new crown and my insurance would not pay for part of it he told me that he didn’t want me to have to pay for the whole thing and he offered to pay for half of the cost. I don’t think that you could find any business that would do that especially since it was not their fault. I thank God for Dr. Elliott and his entire staff. I’ve been going to Nashville Family Dentistry over 14 years and I would not consider going anywhere else. They are my family!

NFD is the best of the best!! I am a patient of 33 years. The transition from Dr. Lunn to Dr. Elliot was seamless when Dr. Lunn retired. The office is clean, organized and has great energy. It was my first visit, and I must say it was a very pleasant experience. The entire staff and Dr. Elliott were extremely friendly and professional, almost scary, lol. He took time to explain things and answer my questions. Top notch dental practice.

I came here after seeing the great reviews, and experiencing good customer service. However, the dentist has little talent in terms of dental procedures — at least fillings on my end. He did not ensure the tooth area was dry enough before applying the filling, and fast forward a few days, my teeth hurt a lot. This is a great business, not a health a facility. I wouldn’t trust my dental health in their hands.

While I know it is the COVID thing and all, and great care given for and to all patients - I had a very good time here. My herders were sharp, fun, and quick witted. Kim, you are a goddess.

The entire office from Dr. Elliot to the hygienists and admin team are great! My husband and I have been going here for 3 years and moved 45 mins away now but will not go anywhere else. They are all so friendly, professional and welcoming each time we go. The office is clean and they are taking COVID precautions to keep their patients safe. I switched to Nashville Family Dentistry after having several horrible dental experiences after re-locating to the Nashville area. I had no expectations, except that it couldnt possibly be any worse than what I had already gone through elsewhere. If you read no further, let me just say, this is an incredible place to go for your dental needs. Truly a miracle I found them when I did.I came to Dr. Elliot with an existing problem from a filling done at one of the other mentioned places. Before he even entered the exam room, I was impressed with how he was consoling another patient in the room next to me who was getting a filling...Almost done, youre doing great. Thats a great sign I told myself. When I told him about my problem, he immediately took my concern seriously and gave me several options with how to move forward. After feeling dismissed by several other physicians, it was amazing how seriously he took my concern after just meeting me. You know how at some doctors offices you feel like the physician cant wait to get out of the exam room so they can move on to the next patient....I have never felt that with Dr. Elliot.When I returned for a cleaning the pain was still there, so we set up a plan to replace the filling that had been done by the other dentist. I just returned from that visit and let me just say...that was THE BEST filling I have ever had....which is weird to say about a filling-no one likes fillings. So fast, quick, and when I went to leave, the staff wholeheartedly offered to look into a denied insurance claim issue I was having. I didnt even ask them, they offered themselves.I feels truly comforting to know that I have found my familys dentist for many years to come. This place has raving reviews because the care is incredible.

Do not go to this dentist. They will perform procedures without telling you and then bill insurance. You will only find out when insurance mails you, to tell you that they do not cover these wild procedures. I went in for a simple cleaning and weeks later I was informed by my insurance company; not the dentist that they had given me a different unnecessary treatment. The woman I spoke to in an attempt to resolve this issue, patty, was rude and dismissive. If I could give 0 stars I would.

Great experience!! I had to get 8 fillings and was super nervous about going to a new dentist, especially because my old one was so great. He calmed my anxiety and numbed me so I wouldn’t feel anything. It was better than I could have ever hoped. I would definitely recommend him.

Went in to get 2 crowns placed on two of my lower left side molars. About year after getting them done I started to feel sensitivity again. So I decided to go to another dentist for a non-biased opinion on the work that was done. The new dentist took x-rays (attached on my yelp review) and showed where the crowns were NOT EVEN sealed to the tooth.To this offices credit they, did refund me after I sent the x-rays to Dr. Elliott and he responded with “yea, not my best work”.However, that refund pales in comparison to what I am now going through replacing them. Since the crowns weren’t sealed bacteria started to developed in crevices that cant be reached by floss or a toothbrush. This was easily identified by the new dentist. So now I’m on antibiotics to control the swelling of my gums before I can even get the new impression put in place....and keeping my fingers crossed not to much damage was already done to where I’ll need a root canal.The ONLY reason this place is getting a start at all is because it won’t let you give 0 stars and they did refund me.DO NOT go here for crown’s. Can’t speak about other services I didn’t use but you are in for a looooong road of pain and sleepless nights like I’m currently living do to their service on crowns.Best wishes

I had my first appointment with them yesterday and I was nervous as ever! I want to say I was amazed with the level of professionalism from the front desk to the care team, everyone was great! I cant leave Dr. Elliott out he was awesome and explained everything from start to finish. I want to thank him and his team, they really eased my jitters! This office gets a 5 star recommendation in my book!

My husband and I both receive excellent service. We have been going to Nashville Family Dentistry going on 5 years now. So glad that we chose Dr. Elliott and his wonderful staff for all of our dental needs.

Ive been ripped off by this dentist several times now and I will not be returning. Every visit has ended up in surprise charges that have me paying hundreds of dollars out of pocket.At my first visit, it was made known to everyone working that I did not have dental insurance, yet they racked up over $300 worth of excessive X-rays and charges that I had to pay out of pocket.I got dental insurance for my next visit to avoid charges. However, it was rejected by my dental insurance after the fact, and now I am paying over $130 out of pocket again. Why didnt anyone check to see if the procedure I was getting would be covered by insurance? I definitely would not have gone through with it had I known insurance wouldnt cover it, it was a simple cleaning and not an emergency at all.I am on a limited disability income and every dollar counts to me. I am afraid any future visit will end up with another surprise bill in the mail. I will not be going back.

Today was my first visit to Nashville Family Dentistry and Dr. Elliott. I was not happy to be changing dentists, for the third time, due to insurance changes, and Im sure I appeared indifferent. The staff were very polite, professional, and caring right away. The exam and cleaning were thorough and a good experience. The facility is clean and bright (I will only go to bright offices). I will recommend Dr. Elliott to my husband, as he also must change dentists.

I have been a customer of Nashville Family Dentistry for about two years now. I dont write many reviews, but I felt that they deserved one for the outstanding service I have received over those two years.All of the staff at Nashville Family Dentistry are friendly, caring and very personable. Im not the easiest patient to deal with. I have issues sitting in a chair for long periods of time and get restless. The Dentist and nurses are very understanding and never get frustrated with me.I have had root canals and crown work done. All of the work has been of high quality, so much so that when I was on vacation and had to see a dentist in an emergency I was told it was the best work shed ever seen.Overall I would thoroughly recommend Nashville Family Dentistry to anyone who wants a friendly and warm dentist. You wont regret it.

I came here for a cleaning with a recommendation from a co-worker. My experience was shocking. I hate going to the dentist- Ive avoided it for a couple of years but knew I had to. Everyone was very nice and I had a surprisingly pleasant experience. I live about 45 minutes away but will definitely be back in 6 months (not three years) for my next cleaning!

I never have any stress about an up coming appointment now despite having to pay the price of neglecting my teeth for so long.
