I cant say enough positive things about this place. I got a superb haircut for a very affordable price. Actually my wife says its the best one I have ever received. The guys are nice and beyond masterful with a pair of scissors.They were also super sweet to my four year old daughter who colored as I got my haircut. I was just visiting from out of town I truly wish this was my hometown barber shop.

Decent little spot to come get your hair cut. $25 and they get you right. They definitely pay attention to detail here and there is nothing like a well done straight razor shave. Its in a good location but make sure to make an appointment!

Tony has been cutting my hair for about a year and he is awesome! Always great conversation and he does a stellar job. I usually do a beard trim as well and I am always happy with the results. Just call the main number and ask to be booked with him. Flexible availability as well.

I liked the cut they gave me. It was $25 in a marvelous old barber shop opened almosta hundred years ago. Definitely recommend making an online reservation. I was lucky I got in as a walk in when the appointment didnt show up. There were only two barbers in there.

Had a great experience here today. I came across this shop via Next Door and I decided to give it a try. If you are in the market for a no frills, genuine, old time-y, proper men’s barbershop, then go to Monty’s. I personally had my cut and beard trim done by Brad Lyons, who is a super nice guy, but all of the barbers there were very friendly. I had previously been going to Scout’s West, but they don’t have master barbers and most of the people who work there are stylists. I highly recommend this shop. They’ve probably made me a long time customer.If you’re concerned that a cut is $25 & a beard trim $10, then go to Super Cuts or some department store/Wal-Mart barber. If you want a proper cut from a master barber then these are excellent prices.

Had a great first experience with these guys. A decent haircut at a good price. Tried to get another appointment for weeks. No one ever picked up the phone. No appointments on the website. I finally decided to stop by on the way home from work. I figured they might have closed up shop for good but wanted to be sure. To my surprise they were open so I walked in to see if they had any appointments. One of the guys asked if I did and I said no. He said they were all full. I explained I had been trying to get in touch with them for weeks but no one ever answers the phone. He just said sorry and handed me a business card with the same phone number I had been calling. He didnt even ask if I wanted to schedule an appointment. I wont be calling or stopping by any longer. Ill ride a quarter mile up the road to Scouts where I can actually talk with someone.

Trent is my dude! He kills it every time! He’s been giving me a dope fresh haircut every month for almost 2 years now. And never once have I thought to go somewhere else. He is a master barber and also the sweetest guy. I recently grew out my beard and he, more than anyone else, has sage beard advice.

I have been happy with having my hair cut at Montys. Nice cozy barbershop. Using the online appointment booking is easy and fast. All the guys at the Charlotte location are nice and take the time to make sure I am happy with my cut.

You absolutely cannot beat Trent at Montys. Ive sent three close friends to him to get haircuts before events and theyre now all regulars.Between Nashville, Boston, and Chicago, Ive been to probably 20 different barbershops and salons and nobody beats Trent for cut, attention to detail, or experience.Make sure to book an appointment. Its super easy online. They accept walk-ins, but theyre popular (for good reason) so why waste your time?6 Stars.

This is a great 3-chair barber shop. Each barber is very skilled and friendly. It is a small shop, but there is a dedicated parking lot for the building around back. You can also park in the adjacent Richland Park lot.

My hair never looked so good in my live.They took me as a walk-in and I was courteously greeted and seated as soon as I got there.Mr Trent took his time (at least 30 minutes).$20 hair cuts I will definitely become a permanent customer.

Rude manager. Walk in barber is finishing 1 in the chair asks if we have an appointment. We say no, he says earliest he can get to us is 2:30. No one is in here!!! Guys listen!!! The moment you have to make an appointment for a hair cut that is the moment you can tell your doctor you want to have the operation to become a woman! Men dont need an appointment to have a trim on the top of your head! If you ever feel the desire to make an appointment here call a urologist and make that appointment first because you dont deserve to be a man!

Great haircut in a nice atmosphere. Was only in Nashville for a day but desperately needed a cut, walked in and was seated immediately. Recommend making an appointment as I learned that walk ins usually have to wait a while. Five stars easily.

Ik have a different textur hair I asked the barber I was with specifically if they cut my type of hair. The person that cut my hair did not know what he was doing at all I ended up paying for a 25 dollar horrible haircut I say all of this to say if they knew it wasn’t their specialty why let me go on a journey just to fail
