I had a terrible hairstylist. great looking place but my hair did not look great. Took her 10 minutes😕

Amazing experience and great stylist. I had about 8 inches of hair all around, I came in and asked for a trim/soft mullet. We talked about our options that would make me happy and something that is going to make me look my best for about 15 minutes, before we even touched my hair with clippers or scissors. I ended up sweating in the chair as they were telling me to make it look great, they are going to have to cut a lot more off. I decided to give my full trust to the stylist. And came out very very satisfied. I don’t usually trust barbers/stylists and that’s why I usually have long hair over shorter hair. I love my haircut and it made me feel extra confident, and that’s something I haven’t felt in the last couple months. I live 2 and half hours away, but I will be making the drive again just so Ashland will cut my hair again. Thank you! 11/10 everything.

Got an awesome kids haircut here today. Great attention to detail. Toni really took the time to make my son look amazing. My husband is now jealous because our 4yo looks better than him.

I enjoyed the first few times I went to this location and had planned to make it my regular spot because of its convenience and appointment availability. However, for the SECOND time Scouts has not honored a previously scheduled appointment, losing all of its credibility in my eyes. They called me 4 mins before my appointment after I already pulled in their lot that my appointment had been double booked and couldn’t see me for 1.5 hours. I would never go back, stay away from bad ethical business practices!!!

Was blessed to have Toni cut nearly 6 inches off my hair and complete a beautiful balayage! My hair was in desperate need of a makeover and Toni stepped up. I got a cut on my first day (after a missed appointment, with which everyone at the shop was so professional and understanding about) with the ends thinned out. I came back a few days later to do color. My hair had a previous blonde balayage, most of it was cut off but the ends were still blonde, and I was looking for a black/brown balayage. Toni was able to turn the blonde into a lighter brown and style it perfectly. Im very pleased at the pricing, quality, and overall professionalism at this location. I had a great experience! :)

My barber Jess is the best barber I’ve ever had for real. 💪 She cuts me perfect every time, takes her time, and she’s easy and fun to talk to. She cuts in a way that makes your fade and lineup last way longer than these cats that cut your hair for $10 and she pays full attention to your hair the entire time making no mistakes.💯 Jess really knows how to work around imperfections in your hair so it looks good for 2 weeks instead of 2 days. I can honestly say.....I been pullin more ladies ever since shes been cutting my hair. Don’t sleep on Jess guys.🔥🔥💪

So grateful to have found Sam who can cut a Pixie cut on short, fine, thinning hair. (its trickier than you think). She is awesome and the price is so welcoming! Plus, Christian the dog rocks too.

This is unlike any typical chain barber shop, the staff is sorry friendly, theres even a big fluffy dog that hangs out which is super cool and you can grab a beer while you wait!

Scout’s is a cool unique spot with affordable cuts! My husband and I have both been to Sam who we love (my husband never likes his cuts but Sam does them great!) Also cool you get a beer or coffee ;)

I live in Hendersonville and I’ve been going to Sam for 4+ yrs now. I followed her from the Gulch to Wedgwood location. I even started taking my 16 yr old son to her. I get bored and I like to change my hair styles, She is very versatile. We love every cut we get. I highly recommend Sam.

As a Bigger Man, it meant Everything to Me, because I came in looking like my hair was a bad wig in the Lost and Found, but she gave me a precise, thorough cut so by the time I was Leaving back to my Small Town, I could get that Show on the Road with style. Sam has been cutting my hair for 2+ years and I couldnt be happier. Prior to Scouts I would go from barbershop to barbershop and generally never see the same person twice which resulted in me hating many cuts. I first had Sam start cutting my hair in the Gulch location (which is also fantastic) and then started going to this new Wedgewood location when it opened and its fantastic. They take incredible care of everyone.

I had my haircut by Caitlin Webster and I love it! I showed her some pictures for inspiration, she asked me what I liked in each one and executed perfectly one of my favorite short haircuts!

Toni gave me a completely new hairstyle that I was a little hesitant to try. (At my request.) She made sure I wanted to go through with it, executed, and Ive never looked better.

This was my first visit to Scout’s (also my first major outing since this have started opening back up) and it was honestly so fantastic. The location took safety precautions regarding capacity of the shop and all stylists were wearing masks (visitors are advised to wear masks as well). I would highly recommend visiting this shop, not only for the wonderful staff and affordable hair cuts, but the decor and general aesthetic is just awesome. I’ll definitely be visiting again.

By chance, I met Sam Masterson when she was working in the (old) East Nashville location. So kind, professional and cuts hair like a boss. When she moved to the Gulch location...I started going there. Now she’s at The Scouts WeHo. So guess where I get my haircut now? No one cuts my hair except Sam.

I loved my experience at Scouts in Wedgewood Houston. My stylist, Jessca, is so keen on her abilities. Most stylists are afraid of my cowlicks, but not Jessca! I felt completely comfortable letting her take the reins and not explain every detail of my head. I’ll keep coming back, she’s poised, confident and pure gold.

So Im new to the Nashville scene and I met this awesome couple at work. Turns out that one of them (Catie) is a hair dresser at Scouts Barber Shop. The price was right and the cut was perfect. Hats of the this place and I highly recommend Catie.

This is one of my favorite Scout’s locations. You’ll know when you see the patio! It’s nice to sit out there with a cold beer on a hot day. Little Harpeth makes their own beer specially for Scouts by the way (and it’s complimentary!). Toni did my hair color the other day and took me from brown to blonde and was able to match my clip in extensions beautifully. Thank you, Toni!

Scouts is the best! Reasonably priced for mens cuts and the stylists do color and cuts for Women. My wife and I both see Paige. Did I mention beer on tap? Wish I could give 6 stars!

I visited Scouts Wedgewood last week while visiting Nashville. What an amazing shop! It is bright, airy and full of light! Lots of plants, an eel named Vanessa swimming lazily in a fish tank, plenty of magazines and also books for kids. My stylist was named Lissa and as Im always nervous about a hair stylist (I have coarse, curly hair) I knew I needed something done. Lissa was really patient with me, (she knew I was nervous) took lots of time with me, and cut my hair to perfection. It was beautiful. I travel to Nashville (Vanderbilt) frequently and will be sure to return to Scouts Wedgewood - I highly recommend Lissa!
