The apartments are infested with Roaches. Pest control doesnt help the infestation at all. They come from dirty, neighboring apartments, but management does nothing to help. Rats are everywhere outside and live under my patio. If you like the sound of police sirens while you sleep, then you are in luck because they get called to the motel across the street almost every single night. That should make you feel safe! Even better, the large gate that is supposed to close at night never closes, so literally anybody can get in.I did give Nob Hill 2 starts because its the only apartment I can afford in Nashville and does have a nice swimming pool.
Nob Hill is worth the money. No crazy month pet rent, just a one time fee. Two fairly large dog parks. Wonderful saltwater pools. I see children all the time playing and being on their bikes. The gym is small but you have the essentials. Management and staff are wonderful. If you have a maintenance issue, it will be resolved fast. They also have events that are free to attend that can be anything from painting, to pool party to Mother’s Day event to celebrate all the moms. Just renewed my lease. Very happy to stay here.
Gates are randomly closed, they are almost always open 24 hrs. My immediate neighbors are quiet which is awesome! There is a lack of laundry facilities in the buildings. Office personnel send out emails frequently with Do Nots.
Carolina and her office staff are beyond amazing! They have been so responsive, patient and understanding through my entire moving process! I am very thrilled to be a part of this Nob Hill community!
Mellisa was VERY PROFESSIONAL & RESPONSIVE. She made me feel comfortable, at home and welcomed. She personally handled my application process with efficiency. Brittany also made the whole process seamless. I will definitely recommend Nob Hill Apts to future residents.
I know this is awfully late because I just started getting into reviews but their office stole 200$ from me two years ago, I came to apply for a apartment they gave me an number and everything and the man kept lying saying that the person I was going to rent with did not turn in their information when he did. Then he kept emailing and texting asking to send the information so I’m not sure where the whole confusion was coming from but I did my part and I payed and still did not get any word on if the apartment was truly mine.
My roommate and I lived here for roughly two and a half years. We were able to lock down a unit with the help from a wonderful guy, David McMurry (may he Rest In Peace). We were immediately impressed by the customer service he offered as well as the layout of the location. The apartment had been recently renovated to appeal to new clients and we obviously signed the lease. Naturally, there were some issues here and there that typically happen with apartment complexes but overall our stay here was exactly what we expected. The rate was affordable and the staff was for the most part responsive with any of our requests or issues. We’ve recently moved out due to living situations changing but there was a minor hiccup with our lease and I called and spoke with Brittany Morse (Assistant Property Manager) regarding it and she resolved it for us IMMEDIATELY. It was superb customer service and I was beyond pleased with her help. 10/10 recommend speaking with Brittany if you’re experiencing any issues with Nob Hill. I can assure you she will be happy to help resolve any situation.Overall, Nob Hill was a pleasant place to live that offers exceptional customer service.
Lived there for a little over a year, pest control is completely just for show, lots of roaches.Maintenance comes whenever they feel, I had a balcony full of rotten wood they said the contractor would come fix but never came until there were holes the size of a small rubber ball in the wooden planks.also if you lose your job during a pandemic dont expect them to try to work with you, managers dont care if you live or die they just want their money.
Good community events, very reasonably priced, good amenities including gym and two pools, but we have roaches. They are very good about frequent pest control but we cant have them spray our place very much because we have little kids.
Awesome apartments & staff i love it here.
I would give this place 0 stars, you can find places in bellevue (i know its a drive) for the same price or less and the apartments are much larger! very sketchy neighborhood too, and the roaches ughhh, they never answer the office phone too.
This place has been my home for 3years!! Amazing view very nice layout!! an awesome leasing staff and the area is super convient!! the staff is friendly and helpful!! Brittney asst property manager is the very Best!!💜 my stay here will always be memorable!!💛
I work as an apartment referral program and have referred several clients to this property. The staff are very friendly and professional, very welcoming, and all of our clients have reported back to us that the property has exceeded their expectations. The apartments have been recently renovated and the property offers several important amenities including pools, playgrounds, and several park-like spaces where you, your family, and your pets can play. The rent costs are very reasonable for the neighborhood and great condition of the property.
Our family loves living at Nob Hill. The staff is friendly and helpful. Maintenance is quick to respond. We love the playground it has lots of trees. Great location! Fun events!
The worst place in the world not just america
I have been living here for 5yrs. I love this apartment. The staff is great. I can make one phone call and maintenance is there in my apartment in minutes. The managers in office is great. I love talking to Harmony shes the best because shes very quick on responding to any issues. Nob Hill is one of the BEST apartments I lived in. Thanks Nob Hill. Will W.
After the tornado hit our apartments in hermitage we were told the apartments damages were so bad that we had to evacuate. It was scary because we knew we had to start all over without any notice to get prepared. Nob Hill made our transitioning so easy ! They were beyond helpful and empathetic to our situation . Not only did they help us get a new apartment in a week after the tornado but they also moved in more than 25 families that were displaced. Working 24/7 ! I’m beyond grateful for the staff of Nob Hill Apartments . Our apartment is close to perfect I have no complaints !
A great place to live and management is very helpful and professional.
Ive lived at Nob Hill for about three years now and my overall experience has been great. The quality of my apartment is especially good for the relatively low price. All the staff that Ive met have been friendly and courteous. Any maintenance requests Ive had have been addressed quickly and with professionalism. My only reason for not giving five stars is that I think the complex could do better as far as the cleanliness and upkeep of common areas. The on-site laundry facilities have always been a particular problem. But for the most part, I am happy to live here and would recommend this community to anyone.
We have enjoyed this peaceful community. The staff is friendly and responsive to resident’s needs. The pools are well maintained as well as the grounds.
Ive lived here for about 3 years now, and am finally making myself commit to moving out. The rent has gone up by about $70 per year, and while the place has physically improved, its still just as trashy. My vehicle has been broken into once and nothing was done. They replaced security guards with a gate system that causes more problems than it solves. I cant ever get anyone to answer the phone when I call the office. And when I put in a maintenance request, the problem usually gets fixed quickly, but they do a terrible job cleaning up after themselves.
I really enjoy the renovations that they have made and are making. They have best staff and grounds crew. Stacy is my favorite. She is always smiling, always helpful, always happy. She loves the residents and my fur baby. Always a pleasant experience with everyone you encounter. When your dog loves the workers they are great and when they love your dog back it makes them even more amazing. Bella knows Stacy from a mile away and runs to her whenever she is near.
Well maintained and super friendly staff.😁
The office staff is nice and helpful. The rent price is cheaper then the majority of places in Davidson County. It is close to downtown and all of the amenities of the big city night life. It doesnt have a garbage disposal, and I had a constant problem with roaches. The roach problem wasnt terrible, but I was killing a couple of roaches a week. The area is not very safe, although it is definitely not the worst area in Davidson County. I would reccomend you drive to Brentwood/Nippers Corner to do your shopping, unless you like to constantly be looking over your shoulder. Absolutely do not walk around the area at night. However, they are trying to improve the area, so in theory it should get better over time. The traffic driving from the southside of town is terrible. If you cant handle splitting the rent with a roommate to live in a nicer area and apartment complex then Nob Hill is an ok place to live. The ok place to live part is only true, if youre a young professional looking to save up to put on a down payment for a nicer place in a better part of Middle TN.
Pros : Rent is comparable cheap to other places in davidson county . Office staff and maintenance team are very helpful on any issue and they constantly update and organize events .Cons : roaches all over the apartment . Does not matter if you keep the house clean . Bug treatment are scheduled every month but still roaches keep coming .People smoke weed, cigarettes in the hallways in the winter and its a closed door buildings so the smell stays inside the building for hours . Not save to walk outside in the night . The exit gate is always a problem near building R and I think it was recently fixed .
Community events: game nights, free food trucks, bingo, movies at the pool.Soft close cabinets and nice interiors, but pop corn ceilings. Gated. Constant upgrades, from parking lot to landscaping. I made a comment about the side-walk, the next week, they had begun pouring a new one. Ultra quick maintenance. Office staff always great, only down-side we loose them but typically to a promotions or other growth.I dont have a bug problem at least not alive. I stay in a basement-like unit so I do see dead rollie pollies /pill bugs
First of all, Id like to point out that they have at least two fake 5 star ratings to bring up their score. Without those they would have less than 2 stars which is accurate. This property is owned by Freeman Webb and was given a 5 star rating not by a person, but by another property called Brighton Valley, also owned by the Freeman Webb. Did Brighton Valley Apartments live at Nob Hill? That makes no sense, of course its fake. Autumn W. gave this and two other Freeman Webb properties 5 star reviews all at the same time. Because she lived in three different Freeman Webb properties at the same time? Kinda suspicious.... You know this place is terrible when they have to blatantly cheat to raise their review score. This was never a home. My building was a public bus stop more than an apartment. I lived next to an exit gate that was programmed to open twice a day to allow access to the school buses that stopped on the street outside the gate. The huge problem with this was that nonresidents took over our parking lot and building twice a day. Dozens of kids of all ages from elementary to high school who DIDNT EVEN LIVE IN THE APARTMENT COMPLEX would hang out in our building on the stairwell, running around, yelling and screaming, playing loud music, and slamming the doors in the hallways so hard they left holes in the wall starting at about 7 to 7:30 every morning. This was particularly troublesome when my girlfriend had a serious surgery and would be up all night in pain, finally fall asleep early in the morning, and then be woken up by these kids who dont live at this apartment running around our building. Its just a stupid situation that they should have never allowed to happen. I just got used to seeing trash all over the stairs inside and in the bushes outside from these kids every day. Then there was the thousands of dollars in damage to our cars from all of the nonresidents using the parking lot to drop off or pick up their children. Ive attached a few pictures. One is the latest damage, a huge dent in the bumper. This was just a week after having to take the car to a bodyshop for a huge scrape down the entire side of the car made form someone in the adjacent space trying to back out. The other two show the lot when the bus is dropping off kids and then three minutes later. There were times my girlfriend came home for lunch after 2 and couldnt even park at her own apartment because of all the nonresidents hanging out waiting to pick up their kids even though we had numbered and supposedly reserved parking spots.Their communication about maintenance was atrocious. We had our sliding glass doors and bedroom window replaced in the middle of the day wihtout warning. One minute we are sitting in the living room hanging out, next ting you know, we are standing there for an hour and a half with a huge hole in the wall where the doors were while the contractors came in and out making a mess. From September to February, our water was randomly turned off without warning at least once a week, sometimes twice a week. There were a couple of times I had to rush to a gas station to buy a couple of gallons of water to finish getting ready for work because it went out in the middle of my shower. They pressure washed our decks and gave us a time frame in which this would happen, and our deck is three stories up. A couple of days after ours was washed and the project was supposed to be over I got out of the shower and walked into our living room to find two cleaning guys back on our deck three stories up. Days after that, about 5 days after the project was supposed to be over, my girlfriend was startled to walk into the apartment and find 2 cleaning guys once again on our third story deck even though it had been cleaning days before.Theres actually a lot more but Ive used all the room I have for this review, plus Ive already wasted enough of my life on this horrible place. Please dont make the same mistake.
I have a great friend and a couple of coworkers that live at Nob Hill. All of them tell me the same thing. The place is great!! I just saw the 2 bedroom model and loved it. The renovations make the place look pretty sweet for an apartment and to be honest, Im excited to get moved in.
Great place to live! My office recommended renting at Nob Hill. This place is great. Renovated so everything is brand spanking new. The staff was easy to work with and made my decision so simple. My apartment is HUGE! Im near a dog walk area, so Emmerson the Lab loves his morning walks. Definitely check the place out. Close to everything.
Ive been a resident here since August 2017. I love it. No complaints. The office staff is incredible, the maintenance team seems sharp, and my place is peaceful. There is a mandatory pest inspection each month, in which I appreciate, bc most complex charge but dont actually send anyone out to spray. Also no pest are found in my apartment, so that shows a sign of good work. Thanks a lot
I have lived herd over a year and absolutely love it ! I have yet to see a bug so the ones leaving bug comments may just need to keep a cleaner home however if you let the office know they will get right on it . The staff from grounds to maintenance to the office staff are all so friendly and I can honestly say they work together to keep us as tenants happy ! Thank you to each of the staff members at Nob Hill ! Keep doing what your doing ! I see you guys are working very hard to make this an even nicer complex . Oh and the security at night is a plus ! I highly checking Nob Hill Apartments if you are looking for connivence for stores and even Wally World Just right down the street ! Thank you to all the staff at Nob Hill that makes this place one of the best places to live in this area Thank you, Melody
Just having moved in this past month, very good place to live I love the enclosed community. It makes me feel safer with the gates in place. I also really love the gym and it having two pools. Laundry can be a little tough if u dont live in one of the buildings with laundry. Overall a great living facility and friendly realtors.
I have little over a month here and I absolutely love it here. I was hesitant at first because of the bad reviews and bugs but after living here a month everything is perfect. No bugs! Daniela helps me out if I ever need anything. The rent is not bad and I got a great deal. I recommend giving this place a chance . They have new management and they are making changes to better the community
Nob Hill Apartments have done Renovations to the Apartments in the Community! The apartments have been completely gutted out and all new carpets, wood like vinyl flooring, light fixtures, stainless steel appliances, marble design counter tops, cabinets with soft touch close doors and drawers, pot filler sinks, and over sized curved shower rods just to name a few of the upgrades! I strongly suggest that you take a tour of the community for yourself before making a decision.
A centrally located south side property with a heart. Nob Hill is offering short term rentals for those displaced by the tornadoes with no premium.
Awesome staff in the office and friendly maintenance staff ☺️
I love the apartment and our management staff! The only issue I had was when I first came to get a tour and one of the temps gave me wrong information and ended up delaying my move-in date by not having my file compiled. However, the manager Susan helped me get everything sorted in just a few hours! Thank you Susan for being so amazing!
Great always on time with request and very quiet place to live. All the neighbors are friendly and keep to themselves.
My girlfriend and I want to say this was a great decision to live in Nob Hill Apartments. I love everything about the apartment, I was in a 1 bedroom and 1 bathroom apartment, newly renovated. Everything worked correctly in the apartment, the staff were extremely helpful when you have a maintenance call or have questions about something. The most important is that it is a gated communities which can be difficult at sometimes but you do feel secured when you live there. The reason why we moved was just because I wanted to be close to college. I didnt like to drive to TSU all the time.Thank you,
Good people. Good price. We’re happy to be here.
PLEASE DO NOT LIVE HERE. The first 6-8 months I lived there I shared my apartment with an infestation of roaches. I called a couple times each month to have the apartment sprayed and they would go away for a few weeks and come right back. I am an extremely clean person, I wash dishes right after I cook and never leave food sitting out so I know it wasnt on my part that there were roaches. It took me threatening to call the health department and contacting my lawyer to prepare to break my lease to finally have them fix the issues. Also the first month of me living there they had a window company come in and install new windows, but failed to give me a notice that someone would be entering my home. They moved my furniture and did not put it back and actually damaged multiple pieces of furniture. I had to call the manager out to the property to have them look it it. He told me they would pay to replace it, but that never happened. He quit and the new manager said they wouldnt pay for it. It took me until September to finally get the money I deserved for my damaged property. This place is overpriced, undersized, and they will screw you over at any chance they can.
This place is beautiful on the surface, but after living here for six months I have noticed that the renovations are sloppy. There are huge holes that allow thousands of cockroaches to roam the kitchen and floors. Also, the vinyl flooring in the hallway and kitchen have several large bubbles. I am not a dirty person, this complex is just infested with bugs that are impossible to get rid of. Although pest control comes every few weeks, the roaches are completely unfazed. The picture I have posted is only from a few days of sitting on the counter. However it is not all bad here maintenance is very quick to respond and the pool is lovely. If you can stand to live with a few thousand bugs then this place is for you.
Ive been in Nob Hill for almost 4 months now and everything is how is should be. Maintanance works properly, common areas are always in excellent way, people from the administration office are really kind and familiar. The apartments are excellent for small families or couples and all the appliances in the kitchen are new. Is really worthly after a hard day of work go home and felling like that, like is really home!!. This is how I feel Nob Hill. I feel I couldnt make a choose a better place to start over.
First living here I loved it didn’t have any problems until now the people that live above me have brought in bugs and I’m forever killing bugs left to right, ! I’m a very clean person . At first before moving here I read reviews and seen where people left reviews about bugs now here it is June I’m seeing thousands of bugs . The people that use to live above me never had bugs now suddenly some new people live upstairs and brought their “cousins” (roaches/bugs) with them ! I really wish they move me into a new unit because I’m fed up with the bugs
I lived at this apartment complex for two years. I moved to Nashville from Memphis with the help of a moving company. Day two of living there i noticed roaches everywhere. I was told a tanant in the building was being evicted due to the conditions of their apartment and it seemed like they were caisson get other units to have roaches. They explained the roaches were being treated but it was causing them to spread to other units. So, while going through training at my new job, i now had to get off work and move to a different building within the complex. After finally moving out two years later, i received a call from a collections agency for damages. I then called the apartment community to ask why i never received a bill. She stated she emailed it to me instead of using the forwarding address i provided because “it’s faster”. I went into the office on the same day and requested an itemized bill. I was given pictures of a quarter sized burn in the living room carpet. I was billed close to $500 for the carpet in the living area AND the bedroom because they were using a different brand of carpet now. I was told i must have dropped my cigarette. (I don’t smoke cigarettes.) my advice is don’t move here if you tend to drop anything in the span of two years.
As an employee, I enjoy my residence and other staff. We consider our property a community full of family, and strive to keep everyone smiling. Thank You all for such great experiences!
The renovations are very modern and give a sophisticated feel for such an affordable apartment complex. Really wish there were laundry facilities in every building, also the walls are really thin. Overall, a clean and quality place to stay for the price.
This is a great place to live, great staff and neighbors, and they make sure youre satisfied with your place. I live here currently and I honestly have no reason to complain or be anywhere else ‼️🤘🏽
Ive only been here a few days but my experience so far has been great. Giovanna in the office was friendly and professional. She is amazing. The maintenance staff are also courteous
I lived here a few years ago. This place should be called, “ROACH NOB VILLA”. The place is infected with roaches everywhere! READ ALL THE OLD REVIEWS! They are telling the truth! If u don’t see bugs now that’s because they sprayed before u came in. I started seeing them a week after I moved in! Our cars were broken in twice. DON’T MOVE HERE!
Staff is very very friendly and maintenance is great! Community is usually very clean and everyone keeps to themselves! The only thing I have to say is that the area isnt the greatest, but as long as you mind your own business, should be fine :) another thing is the kitchen is really small and there is little storage space. Just minor things like that.
I’ve lived here for almost a year and I think it’s great. Friendly neighbors, convenient location, and a decently modern apartment.
This place is filled with rude and unprofessional people, has millions of cockroaches and is badly built. When you complain about the bugs, they are quick to blame you. I’ve spoken to people that have lived here longer than me and they all have the same bug problem. They need to tear this place down! I wish I could give this place 0 stars.
Inconsiderate. Lived here for so long and the respect I’ve been getting is unbelievable. System is boosted. Don’t live here. It might sound like a good place but it’s not a safe neighborhood.
Worst place in the world to live. My poor mother has been on life support and fighting for her life while living at nob hill apartments. And tbey have evicted her because they think someone is living in her apartment. It was only family that came in for a week to visit her!! The new owners that are running this place are HEARTLESS and are very wrong for what they have done to my mother. Instead of focusing on her and spending time with her i Now have to pack her belongings and go to a court date to defend her. This place is very unprofessional and heartless. I have shown them proof of her condition and they show no kind of symphony. All they want to do is hurt her even more. My poor mother probably wont make it much longer and nob hill apartments have only made this harder for her and her family. NEVER EVER LIVE HERE!! i wish my mother would have never chosen this place. SHAME ON NOB HILL... I hope that something like this never happens to anyone else!!! Because nob hill is bad bad bad business!!!
Hey everyone I’m just here to let y’all know I freakin love my place .. Very modern and the one bedroom is very spacious 💪🏽 I moved in the beginning of dec of 2018 .. it’s so peaceful and the neighborhood is cool no rude office staff nor have I ran into a bad neighbor 🤷🏽♀️ Even tho I keep to myself lol .. although I feel as if I have an unclean neighbor in my building do to finding like 2 water bugs but other than that again I love my place 💯💯 private deck and all are a plus😍🤟🏽 Don’t plan on moving anytime soon 🤟🏽😍
By far, the worst neighborhood. Nothing that will be said will make me feel better about this apartment complex. Save your money for another place to live in
Scary neighborhood, my apartment door was kicked in and everything taken, same thing happened to 2 immediate neighbors. The front office demonstrated no sympathy or empathy for the string of break ins for the O building. There is never anywhere for guests to park and I have video proof of the staff coming into my apartment while at work just to eat my grandchilds snacks! Very unprofessional and disheartening environment
Everyone is so friendly here. Maintanace is alwasy on point, the community is always so clean. I love the feel of coming into the community after being out in the busy city of Nashville. The landscaping is impeccable. I love calling this place home!
I would never get a place here ever again and I do not recommend it for other people at all. These apartments are nasty. There is so much cockroaches in these apartment. You wouldnt understand unless you see it yourself even office cant help you.
This apartment complex is extremely inconsiderate. I have been receiving text messages from the complex all month with little to no notice regarding the water being turned off. In addition, they do not give you a time frame of when to expect scheduled maintenance. You have to make your apartment accessible to workers all day. This includes at 7 AM. They do not even ask you the time you work. I work in the late afternoon so having to wake up at 7 AM is disturbing. See the below screen shot of the notice the apartment sent out earlier this morning. They gave a 1 minute notice of the water being shut off for 30 minutes.
I just have questions never lived here how much is rent a month for a 1br?
The worst complex Ive ever lived in. Absolute disgrace of customer service by the entire staff from thievery of maintenance workers to disrespectful, rude management. Shame on them. So glad I broke my lease and moved to Bellevue!
Love Nob Hill! This is a great community & my neughbors are fantastic. We love the ofc staff and the maintenance team +is fantastic
The community leasing office is very helpful and so charismatic. The community really has great appreciation for their tenants and their pets.
I lived here for almost a year and a half, but eventually paid to get out of my lease. There were roaches the size of my thumb all over this place. I was unable to even have a trash can or cook in my apartment because of the rampant bug problem. Once I decided to move out, they charged me an insane amount to get out of my lease and they are still billing me for charges they refuse to detail out. I would give this place zero stars if it were an option. I wish I could forget this terrible experience. Please, find yourself a better option.
It really is a shame that you try to move to an apartment and pay all of the fees and then hear nothing but silence. I have called the apartments about 30 times before moving. Finally I got a call back from the apartments. They said they would send me an email to get everything else done (Pictures of our IDs, Paystubs and other stuff). The email never arrived. I then took off work early to go by to hand deliver the information. They were nice in person. They said that they would get back with me within 24-48 hours... Again silence. I have now asked that they refund the entire fees. I cannot wait around until it is convenient for them to call me. On to another apartment complex...The office now cannot even abide by there own paperwork. It clearly states that Application Fees are non-refundable. You pay 2 fees when you are trying to rent from them. One is the Application Fee ($50) and the other is an Administrative Fee ($100). After not hearing from them again about refunding my fees, I put a stop payment on the fees. I got a phone call then only saying that I needed to pay not only the Application Fee but the Administrative Fee as it is theft under deception. And because of me putting a stop payment on their fees I would have to pay a $30 fee on top of those fees. I have worked with contracts for over 20 years. That is not what is spelled out in the paperwork. They have threatened me with a theft under deception charge. I will fight this 100 percent. A simple change to their own paperwork would resolve this completely. If the paperwork would say all fees are non-refundable. Or just charge a $150 application fee for the first applicant and $50 for each additional applicant. Again, please DO NOT rent from them.I like how the owner responded saying they would like to work with me to resolve any issues. They would not return my calls originally. Or only contacted me after I put a stop payment on the fees. That is not what they want to do. Unfortunately most people will not fight on principle these days and just pay the fee not reading the contract.I wish a zero star was available. When I was looking at apartments, I thought those low ratings were from someone that was upset about little details. They expect you to abide by a legal contract but they themselves dont want to abide by the same contract.
TL/DR: serious roach problem, incompetent staff tried to rip us offThe German cockroach infestation in our building made our unit uninhabitable. When we returned home to the apartment on November 1, the bugs were everywhere (under the refrigerator, behind the stove, inside the dishwasher, in the sink, inside the walls, along the baseboards, in the bathrooms, in the bedrooms). Upon finding a baby cockroach behind one of the pillows in our bedroom, we decided we could no longer stay in the apartment. The night of November 1, we packed an overnight bag and stayed the night with family. The following day, November 2, we made effort to call the office to report the problem, but our calls were not returned. On November 3, my husband stopped by the office to report the problem. He was told that our apartment would be sprayed the following day; that someone from the pest control service would be in touch to let us know what time they would be by to spray. We received no such call.A week later, on November 10, the apartment was finally treated. The pest control service, however, asked that we allow up to 21 days for the treatment to take full effect.21 days later there are still roaches. So I decide its time to put in our notice -- our lease required 60 days.(Over the course of moving out our stuff, they sprayed no less than 3 times, and the roach problem is still very real.)I go into the office and explain the situation to the woman at the desk. She gives me paperwork for ending my lease, which I fill out. She says my signature at the bottom is sufficient, my husband doesnt need to come down and sign it -- which seemed weird to me.I asked her when I need to pay the last months rent. She said the complex was under new management and different companies did it differently. She would check with the manager and get back with me. I left her my phone number. She never called me back.Nob Hill lost that piece of paper. When they redrafted it a month later, they wanted to make us stay an additional 60 days from the date of the redraft. My husband talked to them and it was determined that we would keep our initial move-out date, late January. It was also determined that last months rent was due at the time of our notice. My husband wrote them a check.A few days later we get a call. Theres a problem with the payment. They decided they could not process payment until after our apartment passed inspection -- after we moved all of our stuff out -- a clear contradiction of what wed been told a few days prior. We moved the stuff out and scheduled an inspection. We arrive for the inspection -- the staff has no idea why were there. The man at the desk says only managers are supposed to do inspections, and he is the only one there -- but since it was the last day of our lease, he said hed inspect the apartment with us, take lots of pictures, etc.Looking at the apartment, our inspector determines that the unit was not move-in ready and the renovations were not complete. Beyond some dog hair stuck in the carpet, he said we were clear, no damages. No more phone calls from Nob Hill.February 16 I get a call from a collections agency. Nob Hill had reported us to collections for an extra months rent (claiming we had only given a 30-day notice) and a $50 charge for drywall repairs, which could not have been necessary.Save yourself some grief (and some money!) and rent elsewhere.
Staff are always friendly and willing to help whenever possible. They are usually available when you call or come by and the grounds are usually kept up pretty good.
The roaches really make the living experience unbearable. Residents are leaving left and right & Im next. The pest control does what they can, but the condition of the buildings make me wonder how much longer Nob Hill will be operational. The rent is cheap but you get what you pay for. Night Security at the gate makes entering impossible with out a gate key so guests cant enter by themselves. Dont live here, especially with young children, if you can help it, $850 for rent is nice but killing multiple bugs all day... its gross. 2 of the 5 star reviews here are written by staff.
Reasons not to live at NobHill.1. The cockroaches. Inside and outside cockroaches everywhere while my wife and I cleaned everyday.2. Marijuana. People smoking openly in the hallways on the stairs.3. Pool. Never was opened on time. When it said 10am on the sign thats a joke. When you have an Autistic son or daughter they have routines they follow. The worst was on weekends no one would show up. Thank God we had a friend that works there and would unlock the door for us to swim. Who ever job it was to open never showed up. My wife had to facebook them to let them no it wasnt open. Waited for an 1hr and a half with no one coming to open the pool. Luckily same worker on his off day came and opened the pool for my son and I.4. Homeless people would walk through the back gate that was supposedly gated and swim in the back pool on weekends. They would jump into the pool in regular street clothes talking to themselves while jumping in and running around the pool barefoot to get exercise because she said she was bored. It was like there bath time for them to use the pool. While a young pool guy would listen to music and not look up.5. Assigned parking is a joke. People would park anywhere while the office never did anything to them.6. Multiple robberies in O building while the office staff showed no remorse to my friend. She had thousands of dollars worth of equipment robbed, plus her door kicked in. Plus other people had similar situations to them in O building in broad daylight.7. A gentleman walking up to the top of the property to rob the landscapers with a gun in the middle of the afternoon. While the office staff stayed inside to be safe, not telling the residents the situation. What if a family were playing at the park and they had a gun pulled on them. While the staff and old pool guy had to stay inside the office. He called me to tell me to go inside since he knew I had a young child so we could be safe from that situation.8. Security Lack of they call it a gated community. While the gate hardly ever worked and anyone could walk in no matter what time of day it was.9. Calling the office. They would never pick up a phone call from you starting at 9am till afternoon. It would always go to the answering machine or ring and ring. It seemed like why are these people calling me. The amount of business they couldve missed is huge. The office staff went downhill when Danielle left. She would help out alot of people and go out of her way to make you feel important. The other staff members would say heres my card, e-mail me and we would get back to you. Very unprofessional.10. What ever you think of the pictures on the website, taking a tour, office people being nice to while you sign up, please remember theres alot of cockroaches, people drinking at the playground especially on weekends. Thats where kids play and families dont want to see bottles of beer everywhere plus trash thrown all over the place. Please think carefully before you move there.
So many roaches and spiders. Ive called the office about it multiple times a month and the problem has not been resolved. I found a brown recluse in my kitchen today and will most likely have to break my lease because I cant live like this anymore. I never have people over because of the roach problem. Im terrified to turn on the lights at night because I know there will be three or four roaches ill have to kill. This has been a horrible, disgusting nightmare and I think calling the health department will be my next move because I just dont know what else to do. PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD DO NOT MOVE HERE. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED. AGAIN: DO NOT MOVE HERE. THEY WILL TELL YOU THE REVIEWS ARE OLD, OR THAT PEOPLE LEAVE THEM OUT OF SPITE. NO. THIS BUG PROBLEM IS REAL AND IT IS A NIGHTMARE.
Roach infested you would not belive how many roaches their are unless you see for yourself. I talked to the office every week all talk no actions. Also lots of promblems with my apartment. Worse night mare ever. Had to throw away all my furnuture only kept my washer dryer and chlothes to aviod taking any roaches or spiders with me.
Great floor plans. Luscious landscaping layout.
Horrible place to live when we lived here we were infested with spiders and roaches notice right away after moving in. Management never took care of the issues sprayed but didn’t help. Lots of maintenance issues and awful cosmetic issues our apartment flooded 4 times from the same thing. I wish we actually listen to the reviews online before moving in we ignored the warnings. We had to throw out every piece of furniture when we moved out.
Very big place, the apartment is really complete, I have 4 months living here and I never had problem with roaches or anything, you can walk around there is plenty grass and barbecue area. Theyre pet friendly. About service, some of them are really nice, others just help you fast and dont resolve all doubts, just matter of wait the correct person to solve your problem. And maintenance of the pool is not really as constant as they said but not too badUPDATE NOVEMBER 2016I just realized after a lot going on and back with management, that they are collecting from me as a new apartment and they give me and old apartment (appliances, Carpet ), and they also lost my contract, and my information, what I think is really bad.UPDATE May 2017They are working hard in improve, Now they re do and take care of my contract, and the Person that made the mistake is gone, Now they are making nice Events in the complex and maintenance in general. They trying to improve that is good, Im Happy living here.UPDATE SEptember 2017They completely change they crew of the leasing office, at least they are taking care of things now, still you need to remember them 2 or 3 times or they forget about what you asked. Bad things some neighbors drink beer outside my balcony and smoke cigarettes a lot of nights. Other than that...is ok
This place does not only have worst roaches they make u sign a foarm saying that there is espressos in the walls an ceiling as well as lead paint. How this place has not been shut down an forced renovation is crazy. Oh an in a 12 month period ive seen 3 helicopters flying over head looking for fugitives. Ive heard from staff of 3 robbings at gun point. An if u live here better get insurance ibe had 2 watter pipes burst this place is old water here please dont drink its unsafe.
