This place has been the best. You get a lot of space for the money paid. Sandy and Natalie in the office take their time and get to know all their tenants and resolve any issues. As for maintenance, Brian has been one of the best! The staff here are happy to help and go above and beyond meeting their tenants needs! I am happily renewing my lease for another year here. Thanks for making my family feel welcome in the community.

I have had the pleasure of living at Hickory Creek for two years. Beautiful, spacious homes at very reasonable prices! The landlord, Natalie, has always gone above and beyond in making Hickory a more comfortable place to be. All of the staff remember me as an individual; I never feel like just another tenant. As a college student on her own for the first time, I was grateful for the care and attention Hickory Creek offered me. Would absolutely recommend!

Ive lived at Hickory Creek Apts for going on two years now. It is a wonderful place to call home. Natalie is an AMAZING Apt. Manager! Yolanda, as well as the entire maintenance staff, are extremely professional and everything is taken care of in a timely manner, they know how to get things done, AND THEY DO! The complex is always kept clean and safe every single day. Living here has always been and continues to be a most pleasant experience.

Natalie is the best property manager I’ve had. The rest of the staff are great as wellAs for the apartments, their great for the price. The parking can be limited but I didn’t mind that because my car was always safe. The insides are quality and the outside is pretty well kept. It’s quite but still close to downtown.Morgan Properties has also done a lot for the community like adding in new mailing center, washers and dryers in every unit and placing new windows and sliding glass doors.I moved because of work. Would have stayed if I could. Highly recommended.

Needs to cut the limbs on the trees closest to the Vultee Drive as they are so long that drivers coming out of the complex cannot see someone approaching on Vultee and those driving on Vultee cannot see a vehicle attempting to exit the complex. Hazardous on both sides. Beautiful landscaping otherwise.

It takes a while for maintenance requests to get filled even if its an emergency. Apartments are filled with bugs (german roaches, wood roaches, earwigs, etc.). The people who did the drywall after my ceiling caved in (because they left a leak go unaddressed for a week) left a mess after they finished and theres drywall stuff on my bathroom mirror.

Would give them 0 stars, but I unfortunately can’t. Apartment wise, the apartments look pretty good, but that’s the only upside to this place. Office staff is very unprofessional and only cares about the money. When I first moved in the apartment was never cleaned. My roommate and I had to buy over $200+ of cleaning supplies for the apartment just to put all of our stuff up, and on top of that there was mold under our fridge and roaches in the cabinets! Might as well spend more on rent then to ever live here again!

I love living here! The property is beautiful, the neighbors are friendly, and its quiet yet close enough to the city.Ive only had one maintenance issue the whole year I have lived here, and it was fixed that same day.I am renewing my lease tomorrow. I would recommend this property to anyone looking for a homey apartment thats close to downtown.

Hickory Creek Apts. in Nashville is a fantastic place to be. I just renewed my lease today. The apartments are clean, the parking lot is spacious, and the amenities are fantastic. They have a gym, a pool, and are located in an area that is nicely placed to some of the top spots in Nashville. The staff of Hickory Creek is always there to help, always available, and are very welcoming. Led by Natalie and Maria, the team could not be of more help or of more professionalism. As a young professional living in Nashville, I would recommend Hickory Creek as a fantastic place to put down roots and find your spot in a growing city.

I have lived here for 9 years and have been through alot of changes for the best. The Office Manager (NATALIE) is so friendly and makes u feel very comfortable and at ease. The Staff has always been so helpful and kind and a couple times helped me out when I was in a bind. One time was Monday when I was bringing my disabled mom home from the doctor. I use a wheel chair for her as much as I can but she has to walk a little bit and she fell at the end of the sidewalk. MARIO works in Maintenance and without hesitation he picked her up and put her in her wheel chair. That is a true team player, u can tell. Thank u all so much for making this a nice place to live and I plan to stay here as long as I can..

Awesome office staff!!! We have lived here for a year and a half. The office manager and staff are some of the best I have ever known. They are always helpful and work hard for solutions to any problem we experience. The property was bought by a new company after we moved in. The new company has and is consistently improving the property. besides my wonderful office staff, these are a few of my favorite things; the property is surrounded by trees and is serene, the square footage is among the best in Nashville and all of my neighbors are honest, hard working people. The only problem in crime since we have lived here was children who did not live here. My property manager was diligent and took steps for security improvement. I am glad to say I feel safe, happy and confident in our home and with the office staff. :) We love our home and neighborhood here at Hickory Creek!!!

Managment has been wonderful

The staff was knowledgeable, kind and professional. They answered the phone quickly and scheduled me an appointment to see the apartments that day. The actual apartments however are not at all what the official website advertise. It is a completely different apartment and I was frustrated by what a waste of time they were. They do not have washer and dryers in them, only a few... also the one bedroom was 950 plus water, gas, electricity and trash. There are plenty of other higher quality apartments like In Nashville for lower price. I would suggest updating the website to all models of the apartment with correct information.

I have lived here for about 6 months and I absolutely love it. Very afordable, even for a two college students. The new management has made living here even more enjoyable. You can tell they truly care about the property and the tenants with all of the improvements they have already completed in the short time they have owned the complex. Any problems that I have encountered have been resolved within 1-3 days, which includes replacing my air conditioning. Very helpful and kind staff, as well. Hickory Creek is also in a prime location with short drives to downtown, the airport, multiple malls, etc. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a great, affordable place to live in a very expensive city! I am very glad I chose to live here.

I have lived here for going on 5 months now and I love it here. I havent had any problems, there hasnt been any loud neighbors or anything like that. The staff is great here. I go by just to talk to them all the time. I would highly recommend this place.

A good place to live. Near the city ($8 uber to downtown), but not too near. Close to the airport, but you dont get planes overhead (they fly mostly north-south). Hidden just off the main road, so its basically silent all hours of the day. Surrounded by old trees, water feature running through, great sunlight, suburban neighborhood, cheap pricing, multicultural area, close to a Kroger, responsive staff. The only reason Im leaving is because my girlfriend left and I cant afford the big ass apartment we got together.

AWFUL COMMUNICATION!!! Didnt fix major issues in the apartment correctly, so they needed to come back a month or so later when we had issues again. But it was a battle to get them to communicate with us and respond to calls and emails. When I finally could get the office to answer the phone the manager, Natalie, was always on the other line and would call me back. But, I never received a call back, ever. When we had an apartment fire due to the plumbers they hired they gave us an empty apartment with nothing to live with and a hot water heater that didnt even work, yet forced us to pay a full months rent. I could not wait to get out of that place.

The apartments are cheap and very spacious, but you get what you pay for. Only one outlet in the kitchen was pretty annoying, and management wasn’t the best. But didn’t have any issues with neighbors being loud or anything. Also I loved the location, close to everything.

I moved in here a little less than a year ago and I have grown to like living here. My 1-bedroom apartment is home - I have had no major issues and if something that needs maintenance assistance they are good in responding within the week (if major within a few days or less). They have done many upgrades to this complex and still more to come in the near future. Yes - there is a rent increase (which some residents think I cant do this) but if you look elsewhere you are not going to find a better price for the size of the apartment we have here. Hickory Creek is a growing complex which is centrally located within 10 minutes of the airport, downtown and Opryland Hotel/Mall. The leasing staff is friendly and helpful, kudos to Natalie and Maria. Yes there are children living here. You need to remember you are living in an apartment, not a house and your neighbors are not always going to be quiet, everyone works different hours so they are on different schedules of waking and sleeping times. I havent had any issues with security. Some pass reviewers stated cockroaches, since they removed the carpeting in the main hallways I havent seen any which makes me extremely happy and I have never seen any rats. I would recommend this community to all those needing a new place.

Horrible Place To Live I Wouldn’t Stay Here If Anyone Paid Me To.

In all honesty the only way to make this place better would be to tear it down. The staff was great while we lived there. That’s the only positive. Don’t live here if you value your health and safety.After the response I felt I needed to edit this review. I agree that management is trying to make these apartments better. But there are rats living in the walls and all around the complex. Painting walls and changing out light fixtures is not enough. There is no telling the amount of rat feces there is within the walls and vents. When my stove had to be replaced due to the smell the rat pee gave off when I used it, you could clearly see where they put new flooring on top of the old nasty flooring. Every night I waited to hear the sound of the rat that would come into my kitchen. My dogs killed one in my bathroom. And still I heard them in everyroom crawling in the walls and ceiling. Thankfully I only lived here for two months. My family got sick from living there. I know it was the apartments. Because as soon as we moved we were all well. Also Because the pipes are old and connected poorly, we had sewer water leak out of our kitchen ceiling. This problem took four days to clean / be fixed by the apartments. That’s four days of living with sewer water in my kitchen. A kitchen I needed to feed my family out of. The area is not a safe one. That is not something management can’t do anything about. But every time I left my apartment I didn’t feel safe until we were in the car. And come back I didn’t feel safe until we were inside with all there of the locks on. It smelled like weed everyday. People would smoke in the halls. So the smell came into my apartment. They smoke in the parking lot as well. I’ve never felt more relief leaving a place than I did the day we moved out of those apartments.

The Apts are nice the people are too. The Apts are very old.

If I could give zero stars I would. The manager is unprofessional and divulges way too much personal information. Hey Lady, Im just trying to follow up on the work order i had to submit for the 3rd time because of IT issues, not hear about your kids or your boyfriend. Im glad to be out of this place. Any time i would stop by she was smoking and on her cell phone. No matter what time or day it was.

After living here for 8 months, i really enjoy being 10 minutes from downtown- great location. I have a 2 story unit that is super spacious, probably the largest appartment ive ever rented and pretty competitive pricing as well. Im not sure if I picked the right time or what, but its been nothing but update after update since I moved in. Fresh pavement and speed bumps last week, a cool new amazon delivery box system thats 24 hours a day. (so you dont have to leave work early to get your mail) I was told im getting a brand new ac unit this weekend and next weekend brand new double glass windows and sliding glass door. Im glad I found Hickory Creek.

A realty great place to live! especially if you have kids.

This place is awful, it’s ragged dirty, bug infested very old cabinets that fall apart every time you open them. Kids run unsupervised at al hours of the day, someone threw up on the stairs and it was only cleaned 5 days later. I had to request them to clean the hallway after they hadn’t cleaned it for 7 weeks!!! But worse of all I have not gotten my direct deposit back after being assured the problem would be solved 5 times.

Resident of almost three years now. Awful. Just awful. In the past year and a half, they have shut the water off over 15 times (no hyper ole or exaggeration - it got so bad, I start counting) and notified residents only three of those times. None of those notifications were given /prior/ to the shut offs. They will break into your apartment if you dont answer the door. Happened to me yesterday. Those top locks that are supposed to prevent entry regardless of whether or not the deadbolt is engaged? Well, they have a way to bypass that and will give you absolutely no prior notice to let you know to be awake/dressed when they plan to bypass whatever locks you have on your door. They just plain do not care. Their laundry rooms are awful. They replaced the old machines with newer machines that dont work as well but cost more. They dont have change machines, but do allow you to use a card --- which is very often charged multiple times or charged the incorrect amount (no - not an authorization... an actual permanent charge). The office will not handle that for you - they will just tell you to file a complaint with the manufacturer. Maintenance is awful - they walk into your apartment and dont tell you what they are doing. Just that they have to work on... something. They have come in before and messed with breakers while I was using the internet (read: modem powered by electricity) to host an incredibly important meeting for work. No warning and no apology. They were here at 10am today to destroy my bathroom - then they left. It is now 3pm and still no sign of any repairs or at least replacing of what was removed. No phone call.or note or email to fill.me in on whats going on. Couldnt take a shower this morning because the water was unexpectedly shut off. Now, no one can take a shower because our entire shower is in pieces. So many other fun gripes I can share, but just read the other reviews, and youll get it. If there are high ratings, its because the manager personally asked them to post good reviews. I know - she has asked me to do the same before.This place is absolute garbage. Always has been. DO NOT MOVE INTO THIS GHETTO. Most unprofessional and uncaring staff I have ever had to live under. Lots of lip service if you complain - zero action. Both under the old AND the new management.

HORRIBLE!!! Car got towed and was in a PARKING SPOT!! And I was a resident and had to pay to get my car for parking where I lived at this place is just all around bad and money sucking leaches. They never fixed anything in my town home like they said they would.
