Staff is very friendly, especially assistant property manager-Christian Anthony very nice and helpful with resolving my application. Last but definitely not least the managers and leasing staff are amazing! Theyre highly personable, professional, and helpful! Just a phenomenal team and place to live!
I have lived here for a year now and have had the best experience! The staff is always so helpful and the property is always taken care of. Maintenance is quick and efficient. I highly recommend this apartment complex as a place to call home!
I have lived in this community for 7 years and I love it the office staff is wonderful they will spend time discussing any thing residents ask Our maintenance men are so nice you might want to break appliances to get to talk to them. My neighbors are friendly and we all look out for each other. Plus we are very close to a number of great Bellevue restaurants. You will like living here.
All I can say is Amby is the greatest and always happy to help with any of my issues! God knows this property needed her and her team. Last person ran this place to the ground but Amby has already began to turn this place around and reverse the damage, was not happy but once Amby took over property management and got her Maintenance Crew here I can’t think of a better place to live with such great service!!! Her maintenance crew are the best of the best as well always safe and very professional and efficient. Super nice guys and always happy to help!
I moved here from another state without ever seeing this property in person and was very nervous to live here because of some poor reviews. But once I got here it’s been nothing but a pleasant experience. Anytime there’s a maintence issue, someone is there to fix it quickly. The apartment is spacious and located in a great location. It’s quiet, well kept and a perfect spot for anyone to move in to. Amby was a great help to me when I needed something done and she was extremely understanding and kind. Thank you for making my first two years in Nashville memorable and a breeze. You guys are the best!
Its a good price but you get what you pay for. If I was going to live here again, Id go for the 2 bedroom. I outgrew the one bedroom very quickly. The dog park is nice but owners dont always pick up poop and the water fountain was broken the entire time I lived here.
Very friendly staff front office is always on top of all my needs, beautiful clean place with a strong staff to support it. I also talk to Gene and wendl all the time great people and always answer any questions I have for them.
Ive lived here for almost 20 years. Its not just an apartment for me, its home. Its been even better since Amby came on board. The grounds are absolutely beautiful and they do everything they can to keep us safe. Thank you for your great leadership Amby!!!
So beyond blessed to find such a peaceful and beautiful community to live in. All the maintenance guys are some of the nicest and most professional people around. Wendl and Paul always have dog treats on deck, least to say my dog looks forward to seeing them! And always take the time of day to have a quick chat and see how everything’s going and if I need anything. Workers here are more part of a family friendly community. There not just workers but friends to many people on property and they take the time to actually get to know the people on this property and form a bond with them. Never seen workers like these including most the office staff. Also never seen employees talk so highly of their bosses, it’s typically the other way around! Aurther and Amby keep it up! Whatever you guys are doing it’s an amazing job and keeping you’re employed happy. And Thankyou Amby for taking care of my wife every time she speaks to you or Chris. The new lady in the office needs to learn a few things from you guys, how to respond and talk to people but besides that 865 family staff makes this place home and more enjoyable. It’s night and day since you took over this property Amby! Wish y’all the best!
Since the new management change things are getting way better. Ambie is a doll and will always make sure all your issues ur having are taken care of promptly . property upkeep is much better. Much friendlier staff. My husband and i have lived here over 4 year s and its never bwwn better since mission rock took over the property.
I had a package delivered & it was an accidental mistake made & my hero for the day is Ms Ambi!!! She came and saved the day. What a wonderful manager she is.
If you looking to live like you are are in jail this is the place to be 1000 rules its always something we get at least 5 emails a day from management about something never a peace of mind and we pay rent and paying management bills but they try to tell us how to live our life while you are here. this not the place for anybody will be moving after are lease is up.
Ive lived at 865 coming up on five years now. I cant tell you enough about how since eve new management and ownership has changed his mush better everything here has gotten. Big shout out to auther rhe head of matanice and a big thank u 2 miss ambie for. all that she does
You matinance people very great 3 times amazing I have paul last week very professional and nice guy I tell him come eat breakfast with us and he said he can not, offensive in my country but said a review is werth more to him and his supervisor. To them Thankyou
I’ve lived in several apartment complexes and 865 Belvue is by far the best place I’ve lived AMBY is very professional and has turned this place around. This place has made a turn for its better over the last few months! Grounds are always kept up and nice and matinance are always up to par and help in any ways! There is a new guy, very nice and made sure I was satisfied with the work him and wenden did! Both great guys that went above and beyond! Even fixed something’s that they noticed that I never would have seen when they could have easily left it! All around great staff office and mat crew! Thank you guys for providing a safe and great experience!
Been living here now for over 2 years and I got to give credit where credit is due. Amby and her team under the new owners are really turning this place around. I never thought it was as bad as the reviews said, but there were many ongoing issues before Amby took over as Manager here. In less then 6 months, she has addressed issues I never thought would be handled. She runs a friendly, responsive, and an honest team. Every issue I have brought to her attention has been handled with prompt professional attention. The amount of space and amenities you get for your money here at 865 is hard to beat and I would recommend this place to my family and friends.
Amby and her new staff are reliable and helpful. I have never had a maintenance issue that wasnt rectified in 24-48 hrs. They are much better than the staff that was here when I moved in.The apartments are also an affordable rental option in the area. especially given the amenities of an In-Unit W/D.
From start to finish, Stephanie was a great help with my apartment. She went through my selections thoroughly and made sure to let me know what was available. She followed up with to ensure I was getting what I wanted. I enjoyed working with her and look forward to moving! Thanks again Stephanie!
Definitely would not recommend.
The only good thing about 865 is the location and Stephanie @ the front desk. The apartment is old, it takes months before maintenance can attend to your issues. The manager Amby needs to learn how to be more professional.
We enjoyed living at the Bellevue Apartments. The location makes it very easy to access the nearby grocery stores, drug stores, shopping and the awesome library. There are grass spaces between the buildings and our large back yard was such a great quiet place to enjoy the outdoors. The dog park was a fun place for the owners to take their dogs for play and exercise. The pool and playground were always clean and inviting! The enclosed garages are roomy and perfect for storage as well as parking your car.Our neighbors and the office staff were great people-- we enjoyed their friendships and acquaintances. The Bellevue Apartments provide a sense of community and safety.
New property management, but this time I feel like they have it right. Went in with some concerns and spoke with the property manager Amby Davis. She was everything we would have hoped for in a property manager. Very nice and helpful with resolving our issues
Bellevue has become my new home since moving from Clarksville and I love it so far. Ive lived here since mid September and I can say the staff Ive met ( Amby and Stephanie ) have been helpful and friendly. I dont believe there is a big maintenance crew, but they seem very proactive if anything comes up and theyll fix it within a week.
So the only thing I like about this place is my friends and Stephanie in the office. Management has given false problems but Stephanie has not. Do not move here if you ever need your maintenance needs met. Stephanie in the office tries her best and I miss Valerie. We requested so many things from months ago to be done and at the end of our lease they have still not happened. Extremely disappointed .
Staff is very friendly, especially property manager Amby Davis very nice and helpful with resolving our issues. They are responding for all the maintenance request very quickly and in time.Last but definitely not least the managers and leasing staff are amazing! Theyre highly personable, professional, and helpful! Just a phenomenal team and place to live!
I recently moved in the 865 Bellevue Apartments and have had a great experience so far. The leasing agents were great to work with and the move in process was so smooth. Upon move-in we had a light fixture that needed replacing and a really nice man from maintenance fixed it almost immediately. Highly recommend!
Not the worst placed Ive lived, but not the best. The office is really unresponsive and you get different information from everyone you speak with. Maintenance can be slow and updates arent often - our A/C went out in the middle of July and we were given no updates on when it would be fixed. Moving out next month and Ive requested information for move out about six times and still have gotten nothing. Overall, poor communication at a decent complex.
This is the worst apartment complex to live in. We lived there for two years, from the first day we moved in everything started falling apart, maintenance doesn’t show up when called. Beware if you are afraid of cockroaches because there are tons of them. Be ready to forfeit your deposit when you leave. Amby Davis the manager is highly unprofessional! How else do you explain getting a call from collections for damages without any prior notice from 865 or an explanation on how your security deposit was used.
Cormac McCarthy lived here in 1979. One of the best American literature writers ever.
New staff, with a very hands on helpful manager. My move-in went smoothly, the homes are super nice and huge. I’m happy with my decision in choosing this community.
Frauds. I have email proof i was allowed to move out with no payment until move out because of the months old black mold in our home that was painted over several times while we were told it was taken care of. I was never invoiced. Asked for an invoice after being locked out of the portal to make payment, and was told in the office it would be around $300. Then the request for $2000, which i refused, then it went to collections. Looks like local news outlets will be getting the pictures of all the mold in the house they tried to cover up.Old management group, new management group, does not matter, this place literally has adopted the your call really isnt that important to us stance. From downed power lines on a childrens playground that were not reported, from leaks that are coming through the ceiling and are not touched for months at a time, to sending out an email reminding everyone that all children under 18 must be supervised at all times, yes that means your 16 year old cannot sit on a bench and be on the phone without you over his shoulder, this place is simply not resident focused. The condescension in the front office is amazing. From the people working the front desks who are more transient than most fast food workers, to the managers, who continue to come and go, residents are treated as if they were a nuance, and an after thought. Just do not move here, I know even now the specials they have going on are pretty good, but give it a year, and they will catch you up to the rest of us, who have been paying through the nose, despite it being market norm. Just dont do it.
Everything about these apartments are terrible. From the office workers to the dwelling itself. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone especially considering the cost of rent. No one is ever available to answer at the office and the ONLY way I can get anything done is to reach out to corporate directly. Save your time and money do not rent here!!
NOT family friendly. Received a notice like this one twice so far “ In addition, to reiterate the community policies of the 865 Bellevue, no loitering, skateboarding, roller-blading, scooter riding, bike riding etc. is not allowed within the parking lot/driveways, breezeways or any common area of the property; which includes the leasing office and recreation facilities. Those who choose to challenge this rule may run the risk of further action being taken.” Don’t expect your kids to get to be kids if you live here.
I will say that I have had little to no issues with the apartment staff. There was a little bit of an issue before I moved in but that was resolved quickly and amicably. The maintenance staff has done a fairly good job fixing issues that Ive had come up with the place although one issue I had when it appeared that the apartment next to mine, which was vacant at the time, had a dead smoke alarm. My maintenance request said I believed that to be the case. Yet, they replaced the battery in mine which was just fine. Regardless, a new neighbor moved in shortly after that and everything was fine. The neighbors around me have been very kind and I live in a 2 bedroom townhouse. I love the extra space as well as having my bedroom in a different area than my living room. There are many amenities here including two pools (which never really have people in them), sand volleyball, a dog park (that could stand a little work... my fiancee will come over with her dog once and we tried it out). a nice playground, and a great fitness center.I will be more than likely be moving out when my lease is up in February, not because I dont like the place. For what I pay, it is excellent. The only reason I dont give it 5 stars is because I always believe there is room for improvement. As mentioned above, Im getting married and it makes little sense to have two places.
Moved into a two bedroom townhome two months and have absolutely loved our stay. I just wanted to post a review of the outstanding customer service here. We had an issue with our shower draining and within two hours the manager had the maintenance staff and plumber take a look. Needless to say, I have never had an issue been given so much priority at past apartment complexes. Thanks 865 Bellevue!
The move in experience is nice and good as expected.
865 Bellevue apartment is community is great, friendly staff, well kept parks and kids play area. We got the apartment that we were looking for and that too within our budget. Tracy was exceptional in handling our move in process. Thank you.
We lived here for 2 years while building a home and we were happy at first but the longer we were there the more issues we ran into.1) the AC kept “breaking” and our bill would run up to $300+ it took us threatening to call our own HVAC company to come out before they took us seriously. It was then proven that our AC and heat were running at the same time constantly. We agreed to being credited back for some of the costs because we paid many month out of pocket hundreds of dollars for the high bills... they literally credited us back $200.00. It was absolutely ridiculous and very disappointing.2) our neighbors, although very nice, were slobs. They left trash everywhere. The office never addressed it.3) when we decided to move out after our house was finished they REFUSED to let us do the walk through with maintenance. They then proceeded to say that many things in the place were “broken”. But it was funny that when we left, everything was the way it was when we moved in... absolutely absurd. They gave us $13 of our deposit back. I’m pretty sure that they can’t refuse our right to do the walk through with them, but they did.I would not recommend anyone to live here because the way they handle things is less to none. If I could give 0 stars I would.
Terrible place to live. Have had at least one maintenance request every two to three weeks since moving in. I cannot believe the manager still has a job here, she is terrible. Had 1800 randomly charged on my credit card from the apartment complex took over a month to get refunded and had to pay it out of pocket. Manager acted like it was my fault they randomly charged me verse solving the problem like a manager should. So I had to contact upper management and the CEO just never returned my call after he left me a message to return his call over my issues..it was hell getting my money back. They charge you for anything and everything they can. Add 100-150 to your rent every month for random charges you cant argue. They charge you for valet trash, then charge you for taking your trash to the dumpster because valet only comes four days a week if even that. You pay a non refundable fee for a gate key.. The gate is never ever ever working, therefore its never closed. Its all a waste of money and much cheaper, as well as, nicer to live anywhere else. Pool would randomly close. Do not live here. You will regret it.
Such a great neighborhood. I moved in about a month ago and the process was so easy. The leasing staff is extremely nice. We had a few minor problems at move in that are still being worked on- but we’re just thankful they were addressed. I love living so close to everything and I am a huge fan of the gym. My only advice (and the reason I gave 4 stars) would be to bite the bullet and buy your own reserved parking spot! Overall, I would definitely recommend moving here!
The buildings are old and dilapidated. They only spent money remodeling the exterior. As soon as you move in you will have a/c and plumbing issues. The management has been trying to work on it but its its still a huge inconvenience. The hassle and the headache you experience here is not worth it. Its better to move elsewhere and pay a little more. We would move out but we only signed a six month lease and we are going into winter so I dont have to worry about the a/c breaking again just the heater 😒 . I was without an a/c for two days withing the first two weeks of living here and sinks that would not drain and mold everywhere. I would not recommend this complex to anyone. Managing the maintenance requests feels like a full time job.Thankfully someone was home to let in the unskilled maintenance guys they sent over (usually they need to send different people 2 or 3 times before its fixed ). Otherwise I dont know what we would have done. We have 2 dogs in the apartment and random strangers coming into the apartment daily for a never ending list of maintenance repairs would not have not gone over well. They gave us the option to move out within the first 30 days but would not cover all the costs that are involved to move again (movers, packing supplies, ) or admin costs) or refund the fees paid to move in. So I guess we are stuck here for 6 months. I dont have the time or energy to move again. It would be nice if companies were really interested in providing value rather than lining investors pockets with money. This property management company is a nightmare. Why would you buy a dilapidated building that is in dire need of so many repairs: Answer: HUGE rent role to collect on.You are a liar Amby Davis. You made our lives miserable living there. You tried to threaten and intimidate me by bringing your police friend who lived in the complex to my door. You are an awful person and this complex should be run by different company. You should be fired on the spot. You are an awful human being. All you give is excuses for the horrible condition of all those units. And the high cost of rent and the scam that you guys play when people move out and expect their deposit back. You should be fired and exposed.
I have lived here about 5 years. The maintenance staff is the best. My neighbors have always been wonderful. Former managers have been wonderful. Present and past office staff have been polite and helpful. However, I have to agree with others with how rude the current manager Tanya can be. I had an issue with stopping the pet fee when my dog died. When I continued to be charged and tried to get it resolved, she was terribly rude to me. I withheld the fee from my payment since the dog was dead. She continued to badger me for the fee. I finally had to pay the fee from those months before the fee was taken off my lease payment. I gave her a poor rating when asked to rate the staff, and she called me and left a hysterical message demanding I come to her office to discuss the poor rating. I have never heard a professional have a melt down like that. She is unqualified to hold that job.
When you consider moving in please think about the bill you would have to pay when you move out. The experience I live in is really bad. Every time the maintenance kept me waiting and never show up within the scheduled time window without any notice. Everything it took several days to get things fixed after I made many calls. When I need to move out what the person in the leasing office told me is completely different from what I was told by the manager. I cleaned the department thoroughly but I was told that I need to pay for the cleaning regardless. The only way I can avoid is to hire a professional company and hand in the receipt. Every tiny piece mark that you can easily wipe off made them charged me for repainting the entire apartment. On the final inspection day, the leasing office forgot my inspection completely after the whole morning. The final statement department is even ridiculous and incredibly rude. They never would help you but charge you even more and more. They have trying really hard, maybe their best, to charge people for anything. I need to extend my stay for extra two days and I confirmed with the leasing office when I needed to pay the two days rent, he did not mention that I need to pay immediately. You may have guessed, yes, they charged me for late fee. I asked him more than three times whether I need to pay for anything, but every time the answer was to wait for the final statement. I did exactly what they asked for but was still charged for late fee.
Well usually very pleased with things here, but, recently they implemented a new policy on how water and sewer are charged for. They take total bill and divide it among entire complex depending on number of people on lease. I have 3 on my lease total all adults, so i get charged for 3, however what happens when a family of 6 is 2 adults and 4 children, they only get charged for 2 on lease. This is not fair because without a doubt a family of 6 uses more than 3, that is just common sense. Since this policy was implemented my bill has went up by around $50 a month and I just signed new lease with $ 36 increase so now I am about $100 more a month than I was 2 months ago, I have been here for 4 years now. Number 5 is not looking promising!!!!!!!!!!! Besides this issue all other things are great, I just value my money, I know staff is only following corporate instructions, office staff is superb as well as maintenance too!!
The best place to live in. The leasing office people are very friendly and nice and had good information about the leasing and other stuff. Gated community and very secure. Very well maintained. Apartments are neat and clean.
We are currently in the process of applying to live here. Moving from Maryland. So far, this has not been pleasant. I called several times and it wouldnt even ring. When I finally got through to someone it was hello. Not bellevue apartments this is so and so. Just hello. Whatever I can over look it. Its small. I ask to see if they received the information they requested. Told I had to be called back. She called me back. And asked me what I had been inquiring about. When the conversation finally came to an end she just hung up. No bye. No well get back to you as soon as possible. Just a mhmm click. I suppose I am becoming hesitant on wanting to become a resident because if you cant have simple customer service then what else are you lacking?
I moved from California on a last minute whim. What really drew me in to choose this apartment was the special they had during the month of November and the amenities that they provided. The special they had was 1 month free upon sign on and the amenities included gym, pool and bbq spots. Natalie and Reginald were soo helpful and made my move easy. Since it was a quick move from California, it was stressful to pack and keep my head on straight. Both of them made my paperwork easy to sign and called to remind me of my to do list before move in, which is greatly appreciated. Fast forward to move in day, check in was easy. Natalie made the move -in quick since I was so exhausted from the drive. They have been so nice in helping me with issues such as billing and mailing. Also during the snow storm, when my heater and bathtub were leaking, maintenance came right away despite the busy day they had with other apartments. So far, Id say Ive had an excellent time here in the Bellevue apartments. And did I mention, its on the corner of Hwy 70, which makes it easy to go to Nashville. Plus its near the One Place shopping mall, which will be great once they are done building it.
I have lived in 865 for more than 6 years. It is a beautiful complex and the staff for the most part is really helpful. I will be moving in the coming weeks as I am going through health challenges and unable to maintain the current size apartment Im in however I would indeed recommend the complex.
I and my family have been here for a few months and we are really enjoying. It`s beautiful community and quiet environment, The office staff was extremely accommodating and friendly. The maintenance is quick respond, and the most wonderful that I can doing every things online.
The folks at 865 Bellevue Apartments were very accommodating in every aspect of the move. They truly made the transition to a new state and home, an easy one. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained. The complexs location is central to major roads and convenient to accessing downtown Nashville. Theres a comfortable gym, two pools, volleyball court and areas to walk pets. Issues have been resolved quickly by a kind, courteous and friendly staff. Major supermarkets are located within one to two miles, and a new library is around the corner. Theres a small park one mile away, which hosts a small farmers market every Friday, for most of the year. Overall, 865 Bellevue Apartments feels like home.
Do not rent here. They are awful. My parents needed a place to stay while my dad underwent cancer treatments. They bait and switches them saying that trash pick up was included in the rent and then they got charged extra every month. They had to pay extra for parking each month for the security of a gated community and the gates never closed in one year. My parents moved out and they harassed my mom for an extra $100 over their deposit to cover cleaning and painting. They threatened my mom with collection agencies and ruining their credit report. My mom cleaned the entire apartment and they refused to do a walk thru with my mom to justify their painting cost. This company is a rip off! The local manager Reginald lied to my mom and refused her phone calls to correct the situation. This is an true example of customer and elder abuse. I will be reporting them to the BBB. I have all of the harassing phone calls, emails, and texts.
This place was great the first 6 months and since the new management has come in it’s taken a turn for the worse. I’m normally not one to complain or even take bad reviews like this seriously because I feel like it’s just people with way too much time on their hands but I’m taking the time for thisOur shower continuously leaked a substantial amount of water and we put in probably 5 different requests. I know it’s not an emergency but they attempted to fix it once, I came home still with a leaky bath tub and no hot water.Second time they attempted to fix it I came home to half of the apartment flooded with a overflowing bathtub and they left the bath running full force. We had a fridge that was out for a week called several times to get a “temp who was only taking phone calls” and never heard back. We had to throw out all our food. Now if you have a perfect apartment with no issues ever, it’s a great place. Even the small issues we had before the new management were handled timely, they would leave notes to let you know they were there, and they were very nice. This new team could come in whenever and you’d never know and they leave your apartment in worse shape than when they came. We are ready to be out in a month!
I moved in about three weeks ago and my experience has been excellent so far. The property is always very well maintained and beautiful! My apartment is very nice and the staff have been very helpful.
I lived at 865 Bellevue for 9 months. Because of a work transfer I was required to move. I had a 1 year lease and I was required to give a 60 day notice. I went to the office and gave my 60 day notice to the people in the office. I stayed my 60 days and moved out.I was later notified that they never received my move out notice. I told them I gave it to the people in the in office. I submitted a written notice also.I was told that because of turn over, the people I submitted my notice to were no longer at 865 Bellevue and they lost my move out notice. With any further notice they turned my account over to a collection company and added a huge amount of bogus charges. Im meeting with a attorney, very dishonest and unstable management.
Definitely would advise caution when applying here! I paid their little $300 holding fee and have yet to receive a refund, weeks later. Theres much nicer apartments (some for the same price) much closer into town.
If I could give this place less than one star I would. My apartment had mold in it and they refused to do anything about it. Enough said.
The staff is exceptionally friendly, maintenance is punctual and super helpful when any problems arise and the facilities are upgraded and spectacular. Great location, close to Green Hills, Belle Meade and I-40.Highly recommend for any prospective renters in Nashville!
Cliff and I enjoy living in 865 Bellevue Apartments. We have lived in other apartments during our marriage and this complex is comparable to the ones we lived in many years ago. The maintenance staff is very good and the apartment is very home-like.
Location is great, very friendly and welcoming staff. The area is quiet as well. Makes a great place to live because everything you need is within arms reach!
The staff (especially maintenance) is wonderful. Any service requests are handled timely and courteously. The grounds are kept relatively well, with need for minor exterior improvements. The updated kitchens are very cute (only 2 draws in the Opry), and the laminate wood flooring is attractive and easy to maintain.Close to everything, friendly neighbors, decent gym and pool area.
This is the WORST apartment complex I have ever lived in. Tanya is a horrible manager and so incredibly rude to people. I was in the office after they charged me twice for rent (for the third time!) and I was politely talking to someone on the phone. Tanya came over and started yelling in the phone that I was lying about being double charged and told me to step out of the office or she was going to call the cops. I was also told my neighbors and friends that she was bad talking me to the office staff and people around my apartment. When I confronted her about it she called all of them a liar but I was no longer allowed to speak to anyone in the office. Excuse me? I live here how am I supposed to do that. She also said that if she saw me out and about on the complex she would call the cops and have me arrested. AGAIN. I LIVE HERE. The apartment I lived in itself was nice but it wasnt in good shape when we started renting it. My roommate and I took pictures of everything broken so we wouldnt get charged for afterwards. Which we did. We had an $800 move out fee. We tried to get the sheet to see what we were charged for but unfortunately thats against their rules. So we just paid it so we never had to see them again. I have already complained to the BBB about this company and let me tell you, they dont care. They dont care about their current tenants nor the old ones. Oh side note- the apartments that caught on fire about two years ago just caught on fire again. Safe? I think not.
My husband and I lived here for almost 2 years before relocating to Texas for a work promotion. We lived in the 2bed/2bath Jackson floor plan and loved it. It was an open, airy floor plan despite the small kitchen. We loved the hard floors, which was perfect for our pet. The gym is lacking as there isnt a ton of machines; however, you can always get a gym membership at Planet or Golds. We also loved that this place was so close to Warner park and many other great hiking trails as well as the greenway.
I’ve not only had to send in more maintainance request then any other place I’ve lived. They’re horrible at completing them. I took months before my bathroom sink was unclogged. Now it’s been a few days with a broken garbage disposal an everything is starting to mold. I can’t even be in the apartment at this point it stinks so bad. I’ve had no response as to when it’ll be repaired. I know many people say this. But find somewhere else. This isn’t worth it.
We have lived here more than a decade. Maintenance has left the building! In the past it never took weeks to get something simple like a light bulb replaced or a sink unclogged. Maybe we should just call Takl deduct each day the work has not been done and send the Takl bills to corporate. I dont really believe that even in court they would have a leg to stand on. Maybe my elderly Mother who walks with a cane should fall in the room without any lights maybe after that lawsuit something would be done. Has anyone reading these noticed that about 3 months ago all of the reviews went south ??
Let’s start dont look at the floor plans. They aren’t correct on the opry. I wasn’t going to complain because I’m here short term and felt like I could deal. Since I’ve moved in my allergies are worse(I lived in the wooded part of colonial grand which was bad for me)I pay $25 a month for a parking spot that is assigned(I’ve had 2 cars feel like it’s ok to park in ) which leaves me in the grass. If I get a ticket because I parked in the grass I have the plate # in my spot. (It’s my neighbor) if you want luxury living go to colonial grand phase 2, it’s nice but not here and it’s expensive because of what they cover. My counters are uneven, the key works sometimes in the main door and the air is incorrect. At CG 74 was cool in the summer but here I have to keep it on 65 for it to be cool in the apartment. Thank you for that bill. If your someone like me just staying for short term please read the fine print. I was told pay 60 days plus 1 month to get out but when you read the lease it’s 60days plus 300% of final month. You do the math your paying for 3 extra months while someone lives there 😉 they just changed management and let everyone go. Which is the least of my worries but just remember if your long term this will change again and from what I’ve read they are old and full of mold(big cause of my allergies and headaches per dr) I would not recommend these apartments if your looking for long term. Spend the extra dollar!! Oh and they don’t close the gates either . Hope this helps and good luck on your search.
Overall, I love the neighborhood and our apartment. The grounds are beautiful. However, I’m not satisfied with the management team. My husband was recently diagnosed with late stage Congestive Heart Failure and is unable to work. I went to the leasing staff right away in February to request a transfer to a less expensive apartment. I have been given the run around and I’ve followed up with them via email and in person several times and I keep getting the general manager has to approve it and is out of town and various reasons. It would be great to know someone cared enough to help. Even a one month free rent as they do for new tenants would help, but I realize all we are is a rent check to them. It’s almost June and still no response.Unfortunately, some people don’t learn how to treat those in our situation until they go through something similar themselves. Disability takes 5 months to a year to be approved and sometimes longer. Go Fund Me pages help the first month then people forget about you. His illness is stressful enough but wondering if you’ll be homeless is added stress. I know it’s not the apartment’s responsibility to take care of sick residents but they make enough money to at least have some type of one-time fund especially for those like us who have never been late paying our rent. And at the very least...reply to my requests. I have enough on my plate than having to keep following up with them. Those that pray please pray for health and healing and a financial blessing for our family. Thank you.
Great place to live. Close to new One Bellevue Place mall, grocery stores, schools, churches and banks. Great amentities with beautiful workout room, playground for children, security gate opening, and yes a dog park area for the furry residents. Valet trash pickup at your doorstep. Apartments in many different sizes from 1 to 3 bedrooms. Stop by the office and check them out. Youll be glad you did.
The worst menagement ever!
Awful. If I could, I would give them no stars. There was mold on the walls in my apartment and it took them OVER a month for someone to come and look at it. No one even bothered to ask how I was doing or anything. Moved out as soon as I could.
We like to walk and there is lots of shaded areas, we like to work out and the fitness center is great, we grill at the pool in the evening and swim which is kept very nice and clean, our apt. is great and any need we have is taken care of quickly, its also very quiet
Originally loved it but I regret renewing my lease. Its not worth the stress. My apartment has flooded 4 times this month, as the result of other units. My neighbors laundry water is backing up into my apartment. Staff have done nothing to fix the issue. Maintenance staff is fast at responding but they don’t fix anything just put bandages on issues and close the ticket. They will say let us know when it happens again. They are old apartments and all the plumbing is connected to the apartments above you.
I have been living without AC for the entire year of 2019 so far. I put in six work orders for them to finally tell me that I need an entire new AC unit. They will not give me an ETA on when they plan to order me a new one. Meanwhile it’s 85 degrees outside, and only getting warmer as we approach the summer. They offer no compensation, and they treat you like garbage here. There excuses for not installing the new unit are the ground is wet, new ownership, lack of budget, overwhelming amount of work orders, etc. I have never dealt with a living situation quite this miserable. The front desk told me that there are also residents living without showers and kitchen sinks for months because they don’t have enough staff to fill the work orders. I highly encourage anyone considering this apartment complex to move their family and loved ones elsewhere.
I have lived in 865 Bellevue for 6 years. My first 3 years were ok. My last 3 years have been nothing short of pure hell! I don’t know if the good reviews were paid or what! I know a friend that suffers from anxiety had to break her lease to leave here it was so bad for her.I have a mold allergy and my master bathroom is covered in mold. A specialist came out and told me what needed to be done to remove it. 865 Bellevue denied their quote. They sent a maintenance guy over to spray bleach on it. Bleach doesn’t kill mold. The grounds are full of dog poop. Don’t even think about walking in the grass at all.Maintenance has been a nightmare since they fired the guy thats been here over 20 years. The units are very old and stuff is constantly breaking. The maintenance take at least 7-10 days to come by. I’ve waited up to a month! No matter the severity of the issue. The gate rarely ever work. It has been open more than closed over the 6 years.IT IS NOT A SMOKE-FREE ENVIRONMENT. Don’t fall for that marketing scam. My neighbors smoke weed and cigarettes. There’s no way they can prevent that.My son was told by the new management, Mission Rock Residential they can only let residents 18 years or older in their unit if they lock themselves out. I was 17 hours away in Texas. It was raining and my son had a sprained ankle. He is listed on the lease as a resident and presented his id. It was during business hours. He is 17 1/2 years old. Imagine if I had an abusive ex-boyfriend still listed on the lease, they would’ve gladly let him in being that he is over 18, but not my child. My son could’ve been harmed being locked out of his home. The manager told me thats not their problem. A 20 year property manager vet of another complex said that was pure insanity the way they did my child. The new office management team is hands down the worst team I’ve dealt with and I have seen at least 6 come and go. There’s a tall black lady that’s so rude I can’t believe she is even in a professional setting. I’ve never seen anything like it. The new management came in very militant for some strange reason. One would think they would try to turn this place around.I was flat out lied to by Brock, part of the new management team, that maintenance would come fix my locks on both doors at 5:00p. I called back at 5:24. He said that maintenance was there in the office doing paperwork and would be here right afterwards. My locks never got fixed. Once we lock the door, its takes up to 10 minutes to get our key to unlock it. Hope no one is ever chasing us home! How unsafe!Read previous complaints about how they steal your deposit with frivolous expenses like lightbulbs when you move out. They are known to present you with a bill upon move out that exceeds your deposit.I’m not a scorned resident. I truly want to warn others not to go through the hell that me and others have gone through. I can’t believe this place is still operating. The things they do blows my mind completely.I have lived in apartments for about 15 years now. I can safely say this has been the worst experience ever!! I have tons of messages from other residents that regret wholeheartedly that they signed a lease—I can share if you message me. We are finally moving out at the end of our lease. Thank God.
Until smoke free community is enforced.
We lived here for about a year with our 2 girls. We always paid on time and never had any complaints. A month or so before our lease was up, our payment didnt go through because of a glitch in the system and they charged us around $200 for a late fee - I had a confirmation number and it was paid on the 2nd of the month. I was given the go around regarding waving the late fee. I spoke with someone off site who told me they could wave it but Id have to speak with the office. I called the office and was assured they could and theyd get it handled. A couple weeks later, I went to check it was off on the portal and it was still there. I called back to the office and spoke with someone else who then told me they couldnt do that but gave me a number to someone who could. I called that number and the guy straight up told me they probably just dont want to deal with me so thats why they sent me to him and that he couldnt help me, it would be the office. I eventually got tired of the back and forth so I paid it knowing I would be moving out in the near months. So fast forward to moving out... I called the office to ensure everything we needed to do was being done. I was told we wouldnt need to clean the apartment because they have people that come in and do that. A few months prior, we had a walk through where we were told everything looked great and it didnt appear we would have anything charged back. The main things they said they looked at were paint, floors, bathroom and holes in the walls. We were told there were no major holes in the walls and the paint, bathroom and floors looked good. Well, now that weve done the move out inspection, suddenly everything is wrong. Not only are they keeping our whole security deposit, but now they are charging us MORE on our portal on all these things that were okay a few months ago. Living there we had no issues, however, moving out, they are the worst people to deal with. I guess this is one last attempt to get all the money they can from us. I do not recommend this place.
I would never recommend this property to another person. The units require constant upkeep by a maintenance staff that provides the very bare minimum service requested in an inappropriately long timeframe. The cause is the heater in my apartment didnt work in winter and I sent a request for that but no one care about me even my daughter from cold weather, and they fixed that after 3 days also they did let us to stay in hotel until they fixed that issue that was a terrible time for my family. Moreover, in September there was a leak from my apartment to the apartment under to my apartment when I used the washer and dryer, so I couldnt used them more than 4 days after 4 days they knew that somebody live there then they gave my a key for another apartment to care about my clothes. In addition, they fixed that leak after a weak and half. My unfortunate experience at this complex involved mold in my apartment, a broken deadbeat and various other broken appliances/amenities. This apartment also requires a 60 day notice that they do not tell you of when it comes close to renewing or HOPEFULLY vacating your unit. Moreover, if you spoke to office and give them notice that you are going to move out when your lease is over, I faced that I spoke to them about 6 months before. That mean you pay a non refundable fee for a gate key and deposit. For instance, I payed $1645 because I am not a resident and they did not refund my money. My safety was never considered and the complete and utter disregard for their residents is evident when communicating with staff. I am also following this review up with a call to the Nashville Better Business Bureau. This is a horrible complex and I am making sure that none of my friends or family EVER have to go through a similar experience. Do not live here. You will regret it.I had to include one star in order to post. I wouldnt give this complex or its staff any stars.
Im writing this review as an average person-- not someone they paid to give 5* ratings... My wife and I just moved out two weeks ago. We lived here for 2 years. The management is pretty bad/uncaring/unknowledgeable . The outdoor grills are almost never working. The pools are over crowded. The workout facility is pathetic (and a few times not air-conditioned) There is a cricket infestation for about 9 months of the year.On the bright side, the maintenance staff is pretty quick, and would fix the problem about 66% of the time. The other 34% of the time the issue wasnt fixed properly and required additional service requests. And do NOT expect your deposit back. My wife and I thoroughly cleaned the apartment and we hired a professional crew to come in after us. Theyre charging us $145 to repaint 1 wall because there are scuffs on it... First of all, I doubt those scuffs even exist, and second they told us they allow for normal wear and tear. If this isnt normal wear and tear, what is? We were a quiet young married couple... not a crazed frat house.Edit: Oh yeah, and they raise the rent about $85-$90 bucks a year. And, if you need to do month to month (while waiting close on a house or something), rent raises about $400 a month.
The management is so bad. There is so many things wrong with this place and no one answers the phone for maintenance. Do not live here
If you are searching for a quality apartment that will not rob you blind with random fees when you move in and move out, do not even glance at these apartments! (They may charge you for just glancing at the apartments, who knows?) From the outside, theymay appear harmless, clean, even charming but that is not the case. Please save yourself the the $ and time and look eslewhere.
If I could give a zero star I would on this place. I have moved in in January and have been experiencing many problems from the front office also promising to take care of late fees and still to this day have not. I have tried calling corpprate office and still no call back they were not caring and I still have not seen any thing taken care of. Maintenance here are lazy they left a fan in my appartment for over a week and I had to request for them to finally come get it and they never screwed the screwed back in or yet still to fix the broken water heater. I would not recommend this place to to anyone they do have hidden fees they added on and threaten to send you to legal fees and to court if you do not pay your full payment buy the 12th of the month. I am very unhappy and the plumbing is horrible I had 3 leaks and they will not reimburse your water bill till they see the one with out the leak on it. The pools arent even open yet and the gates were supposed to be fixed by now and still are not and pay extra fees that arent even getting used or fixed.
I loath this complex. If we could move out we would have months ago but we are trapped in a lease. That’s what they do to you it starts out great and then they don’t help when your apartment or car gets broken into the gates are only closed late at night and are more of a suggestion since there’s no monitoring as to if a car belongs in the area or not. Our apartment had a flooding issue twice it took them 6 weeks or more to fix it and in that time no accommodations were made and we were left without a shower for the entire time. Office staff blows off your issues until it suits them but only after you signed the lease. The community facilities are constantly broken and “under matinence” the turn over in the office is unreal. They don’t even tell you when they are coming into your apartment for “inspections” and just use a key. DO NOT MOVE HERE.
The one star ratings greatly outweigh any other rating category for a reason. Read these reviews and believe these ppl. This is not a good place to live. The management company AIMCO only wants your money...as much of as they can get. This place has a history of fires. Living here, you will likely feel like most residents, mostly treated bad and ripped off every step of the way. Once you finally feel free of them and move out they will stick you with an abundance of miniscule charges like $35 for each wall scuff or $20 to replace stove top trays. This is not an exaggeration. They literally had ridiculous move out fees plus they want you to pay for carpet cleaning and professional cleaner. This is not the norm for other apts who include this as standard move-out procedure without upcharging you. They are not like any other place rented from and there have been multiple in middle TN.The office staff and maintenance staff are often overworked but they try to help as much as they can. They are not always happy but not overtly rude. The manager has a dark-side and can be very rude but not all of the time. The management company will not care about their ridiculous charges if you complain or challenge them...all they will want is your money and will gladly pressure you into a confined payment plan.
If you decide to consider these apartments, please, please, read the contract VERY carefully!! It is not the standard lease contract. This complex is owned by AIMCO, a very large Apartment Investment and Management Company, so taking legal action after the fact is difficult and they behave like bullies. Also beware that when you send them your deposit, you will most likely not see it again and in addition, they will send you an itemized bill of additional items they claim you must cover, over and above your deposit. I have rented from many different landlords in many different cities and have never been denied my deposits. I have also never known anyone who was denied their deposit or charged in addition to their deposit for the items they are stating are owed. Please consider our advice to proceed with caution and read the contract.
When I first moved into the apartment, the baseboard was broken to the patio door and the apartment was not very clean. My bathroom sink did not drain very well and still doesnt. Also, the dishwasher did not drain either. To put the nail on the coffin I found a cockroach too.
This review comes from a family who happily lived in here for 2 years. Ive paid my bills on time and took care of my apartment very clean. Moving out from this place was a disaster. Aimco tries to charge you illegally as much as possible. They tried to charge me an early termination fee, although I have given them 2 months early notice in written and although they have rented the apartment right after I moved out. This is illegal, they cant charge from two residents for the same apartment so I fought with it. Plus, they tried to charge me for a full paint and cleaning fees although I returned it very clean. You can not be responsible for small wear and tear after 2 years, and the new paint for the new customer. Not surprisingly, they did this in a sneaky way. I wasnt invited to the final inspection although I have requested it. I just received charges and I didnt have the chance to defend myself against any of these the unfair charges. I had no signature on any of the papers as well. Simply Aimco tries to make you pay for the new residents painting and tries to keep your deposit. They tried to charge me around $3800 and kept my deposit as well can you believe that?. It took me 3 months to get my money back and lost a lot of my energy fighting with it, but I was able get the half of my deposit back right after I took legal actions. There are so many similar complains about Aimco on reviews. I dont know how they could lease this place to new people with this mentality. There are some smaller local companies, they have been very nice to us. Stay away from this place. The only star goes to the new manager Jamee. I knew her power may not be stronger than Aimcos but Jamee worked with me on my problems although it still took 3 months to solve things one by one on each conflict and of course, right after Ive started to take legal actions. (Other conflicts includes fake late charges which I didnt have, duplicate payment requests for the fees Ive already paid etc..) Bye bye Aimco, wish you luck in having more and more angry customers, until you have none unless you dont change your approach against your customers.
Live here currently and would like to thank Fran! She has came to my rescue twice! The other reviews are so one sided..
Did you know there is a non-refundable fee of $300 to hold the apartment? That wouldve been fine had I known you must cancel in 72 hours. Instead of telling me that once I cancelled, Fran just said ok. I received an email with a balance sheet and zero context or explanation. It basically said I was not getting a refund. SCAMMERS! I called and left messages for three days. Finally, I spoke with Maureen who was very kind, but guess what? When I asked her where to locate the verbage, she could not tell me. Ill have to call you back. Once she did, she was so kind, I have chalked it all up and decided to claim it as a loss on my taxes. For all my friends and colleagues moving to the area, Ive told them to avoid them totally.
My roommate wrote a bad review and they responded something like glad everything finally got taken care of. It didnt we just quit calling because the people in the office do nothing. They over charged us by $1800, had to call to get reimbursed, took months to get back. Tanya said that she was the highest person we could talk to to fix any problems, which was a lie; shes awful. The CEO called, left a voicemail to help then never returned phone calls. They signed us up for a 12mo lease when we asked for 9mo. Said they couldnt fix it bc it was already filed & office was closing. It smelled like curry. After months of scrubbing the walls with rubbing alcohol, lysoling the floors, spraying air freshener, using glade plug-ins and candles, the smell isnt as bad. After they saw my roommates bad review in Dec, they said if we left the apartment for 2 days they could clean our vents to get the smell out. We had spent HUNDREDS already!! Wrote over 10 service requests in 1st 4 mos. living here, took days to resolve. They have priority to major emergencies, so there must be a LOT going on. Rarely see maintenance carts at apts, often see them parked outside of gates just sitting. Each request we chose call before entering label, the first 5ish times, they didnt call.1. 8/6 hard to unlock door, other door HAS old lock still2. 8/24 locked out of bedroom, they didnt provide a key, took hours to get help, then had to go buy our own3. 8/25 shower drip, mold grows after 2-3 showers, clogs, one shower leaked all over bathroom floor as if there wasnt a tub, sinks clogged4. 8/25 Trash lid broken, requested since move in5. 9/28 a/c went out6. 11/9 poor water pressure in one shower, cant fix unless I buy my own shower head, I use 2X as much hot water daily bc of this, other shower is fine7. 11/9 sink wont drain, front desk said she just keeps her stopper removed and it works fine, it does but now I cant drop anything in my sink or its gone for good8. 11/11 air filters get dirty after 2 weeks, they blamed it on our candles, which werent an issue in our old, smaller apartment at all9. 11/17 washer wouldnt work fully, didnt show10. 11/20 washer still doesnt work fully, replaced timer, left the dryer pushed over and couldnt open it11. 11/21 complained about not being able to breathe and that I had mentioned it to the office multiple times. I said I think its mold from the bathroom and dusty gross vents. My allergies went away every time I left the apartment. Air filters shouldnt get dirty as quickly as they do. Got sent air filters nothing else could be done. (I got an Uber here once from someone who lived here and he had the same complaints, said he was going to hire his own guy to inspect it, maybe I should do that now).12. 11/23 Washer still doesnt work. Head maintenance guy came & replaced the entire top half, said they should have known it wasnt the timer after the 2nd try. These took calling the office multiple times bc they couldnt come in a timely manner, some of these issues should have been noticed before move-in.Trash service you pay for comes Mon-Thurs, some days just doesnt come. Nothing done to de-ice complex, got Uber, my car was stuck for days. Uber slid into gate twice trying to signal it to open. Gates broken 50% of the time. Pool closed with no warning. Gym was filthy a 3 wks ago. Bathroom trash full, people had their own cleaning supplies bc they were out & the open room had dust piles in every corner. The neighbors upstairs are awful. I hear them every morning 6a-8a, their child running around nonstop, for hours pounding the floor. Every evening from 6p-10p. Nonstop. There is a dog too. I hear them sliding furniture around, their son crying, bouncing balls, stomping, heels clacking, arguments. I hear them having sex.Currently, my vent in my bathroom takes about 20 minutes, sometimes longer to finally kick on, our kitchen light went out, but Im tired of dealing with service requests.I wish more than anything she filed our lease correctly so I can move out of this apartment complex.
(Tanya Mowell - manager is the rudest)WORST MANAGEMENT. VERY VERY RUDE people (Tanya Mowell - manager is the rudest) in leasing office.3months after my lease breakage they still deduct rent from my bank. When I call they are very rude in answering and claiming proof of my move out from me. REALLY - Do you maintain any documents at all? I really if they do any work in leasing office.
This is the WORST apartment complex I have ever lived in. Tanya is a horrible manager and so incredibly rude to people. How company like AMICO keeping such unprofessional people. I couldnt have my french doors open due to all the standing water that was out back after it rained, almost EVERY time it rained.Fitness centre is joke. Looks like they bought this equipments from any garage sale. They have to replace those old outdated eqipmentsI had to include one star in order to post. I wouldnt give this complex or its staff any stars

Best place ever
Terrible place, DO NOT LIVE HERE!!Worst service team ever. My boyfriends apartment flooded and he lost a lot of my belongings as there was a lot of water. They did NOTHING about it for 3 weeks, and moved his to another apartment in the complex after we asked them about it many many times. They are now saying he has to move into the old apartment which is moldy and a health hazard. When he said he doesn’t believe it is safe they just say he didn’t submit a request in writing so if he doesn’t want to live in the moldy apartment he has to pay 5,000 dollars to get out of his lease..... I can testify to the mold, I have asthma and every time I have walked into the apartment after the flood I have had an asthma attack, but before the flood I was fine. They are literally putting my boyfriend in a seriously DANGEROUS KIVING SITUATION!
The worst system. Its not logic at all to ask deposit for 2400$. Why there is a gold in the flat.
Good apartments and service.
This is one of the most awful place of I’ve ever lived at. At the time of the showing of the apartment the manager at the time promised me that there was a special going on and I did not have to pay any fees. Also the part off the special was that half off the rent for the first month. Once I booked the rental company and signed the lease All these fees started showing up initially there was a $60 nonrefundable application fee. When I discussed it with the manager he said that everyone has to pay the application fee I was OK with being that $60 but once I signed the lease they charge me another $225 as non-refundable admin fee.I was stuck I was moving and did not have time to change When I asked what the fee was he said he will take care of the fee and it will reflect on my next bill.Since then the manager have left and I have been going to the office and inquiring about the refund on that $225. My lease has finally expired and still no refund.Today I was told that since I did not have anything in writing they will not refund me my $225 .Besides just bait and switch tactic the apartments are old, my apartment was flooded twice I was without running water and could not use my kitchen for 4 to 5 days I have 2 children under the age of 2. Nobody from the office tried to make any contact to find out if we needed anything while we could not use the kitchen and not even an apology from them. The apartments are really old they were built in 1950s the pipes have corroded most of the apartment have flooding issues. Over all the management of the 865 Bellevue Apartments is pretty useless for every little thing they tell you that they have to contact the area manager who does not exist or who does not care to call you back I will not recommend these apartments to anyone this is the worst experience I have ever had with any apartment complex. I think there is a problem with the water and electric meter because my water and electric bills were higher than when I lived in a 3300 square-foot house While this apartment Is only a little over 1000 ft.² I will not recommend these apartments to anyone
