The Maintenance team is always super nice and helpful! They are always willing to help fix whatever it is that is not working properly and also super polite and professional!
I’ve been here for only 3 weeks and never want to leave! Taye made the move in process so incredibly easy & smooth. I love this apartment, city & community as a whole! Location is perfect and can’t hear the people above me at all unlike my last place.
The location swayed me to pick Duet when I moved from Dallas, having never been to Music City before. The community, fellow residents, and leasing staff are the reason I would choose Duet again!
I moved to Duet 2 years ago from California. The staff here exceeded all my expectations and made such an unfamiliar place feel like home. Theyre the kind of people that go out of there way and do things not because they feel like they have to, but because they genuinely want to help you. You also just cant beat this location. A short uber ride away from everything but just far enough away from the hustle and bustle. The best part (in my opinion) is that the dog park is just a short walk away - for anyone with a fur-baby, we all know how important that is! A friendly community, great prices and fun amenities. I would recommend this place to any friends and family looking to move to the area.
I moved to Duet a couple months ago from the outskirts of Nashville.. and may I just say this apartment complex has truly saved me so much time, money, & gas with its amazing location. It seems as if everything I need is close by. It has the Parthenon, for active people who like to run, a dog park for your fur baby, and you even a get membership deal on the sportsplex close by. Duet has amazing staff members who care about you, and always make sure to handle every issue you need. Its a super safe building, every door you go through needs a key card to go in and out of. The parking garage also is gated so you don’t have to worry about outsiders trying to break into your car out on the streets. Its pet friendly, so if you have pets they accept them all! They have super great activity rooms such as the gym, the meeting rooms (attached to leasing office) a cyber lounge (Frothy Monkey coffee machine, tea, along with tables, and a TV), the club room (pool table, shuffleboard, TV), the super cute courtyard, and even a roof top with fire pits! I can’t even begin to say how happy I am that I live here.Duet is an amazing apartment complex & if you decide to move here, I would bet money that you would love it like I do! :)
This place has been great so far (4 months in). The secure parking is great and the apartments are spacious and updated. The only problem is the ceilings must be very thin because you can REALLY hear the people above you. You get used to it but it can be annoying when there is a crying baby and barking dog.
I have lived at Duet for 6 weeks now and love it! The whole complex is clean and well kept. The proximity to restaurants, grocery and Centennial Park is unbeatable. Sure, I occasionally hear footsteps from the apartment above me, but overall I am impressed with the quietness. The parking garage is well lit and feels safe. The workout room is a good size and I like that one wall is all windows. The routine maintenance issues Ive had have been taken care of quickly.
Ive been here for a few months and love my layoutIts very reasonably priced and the dog friendly atmosphere is a plus - right between centennial park and centennial dog park and next to lots of nice restaurants and VanderbiltWeve been having 2 apartment events every month too which has been really nice and the maintenance staff is super friendly and quick whenever we have any issuesWere on the top floor so havent had any issues with people above us but sometimes get woken up by the trucks picking up trash or the dogs howling next door
I recently made the decision to move to Duet Apartments and I couldnt be happier that I did. The apartments are really nice and spacious and you cant hear your neighbors unless theyre yelling very loudly or hammering against the wall. The community of residents are very nice and the complex is really well kept. The amenities are always in good condition and they are really awesome. The gym is recently remodeled and its everything that I need in a gym. There are several really awesome courtyards that are really nice to relax in on a hot summer night. My positive review doesnt even take into consideration that they just built a new pool, which looks amazing. Im excited for it to open this summer.
My fiance and I have been living at the Duet for a couple months now. After a horrible experience at a similar complex in the same neighborhood, were very relieved to say the Duet is so much better. Management has been very helpful, the complex isnt so large it feels crowded like others, and the other residents are genuinely nice to one another. Weve lived in several other places in Nashville the last few years and this is by far cleanest and quietest complex. Its really close to Centennial which is a nice perk. No complaints yet!
I have lived at Duet for about 6 months now and have had a wonderful experience. Cant beat the location! Centennial park is right next door which is great for jogs, dog walks, and the plethora of fun events on weekends. West End is a great part of nashville to live in, especially if youre new here. The Duet staff has been so great - super friendly, accommodating and eager to help. There are monthly events that are well organized and fun! (who doesnt love free food, massages, and drinks?). My neighbors have all been friendly and Ive never had an issue with anything noise related, etc. I dont know if everyone is just very respectful and quiet or the walls are thick but Ive never once heard my neighbors beside above or below me! Every maintenance request Ive submitted has been taken care of in less than 48 hours - which makes everything so effortless which is wonderful. The leasing was efficient and easy, the gym is great, and apartments/appliances are new and nice! We also love relaxing by the firepit and grilling out on the community patios. Overall just a great place to live and Ive been very happy at the Duet.
What a great place to live! I dont have enough kind words to say about Duet and the management team. Great (very safe) location right by centennial park! Very friendly people and they provide great weekly activities like yoga classes and pizza nights!!
I have enjoyed my time at Duet. The location was unbeatable for me as a Vanderbilt student, and I loved having the dog park and Centennial park in my backyard. The staff is very friendly, especially Thomas. My only complaints are that my unit is basically a studio advertised as a one bedroom and there was a lot of noise from my upstairs neighbors. Other than that, its great!
Would be a 5 if not for the thin floors passing every sound through. The people in the apartment above me wake up extremely early daily and it is impossible to get uninterrupted sleep. This part is very disappointing mainly because of the high cost of rent I am paying.I do love it because the location is great, new building, and many perks with the facilities. You will need to get a top floor or take the chance of a bad apartment mate above you.
Too expensive for what it is. Getting dirtier every year (its more an apartment for dogs than people), yet rent just goes up and up. Maintenance is cool, location couldnt be more convenient for Vanderbilt workers, but prepare to pay, pay, and pay some more. Live here if you enjoy being broke.
Very nice apartment complex with amazing staff. Regular activities planned for residents to enjoy. Just a short walk from Centennial Park and Vanderbilt. It all adds up to a great place to live in Nashville!
If you enjoy these things, move here:1. The sound of a herd of elephants above your apartment all day everyday.2. Being called a liar by Ashley in the management office because she didnt believe that another staff member told you where visitors could park in the 300 building.3. Getting a boot on your Moms car for parking where Ericka in mgmt office showed me to have all visitors park. (I have a witness who was with me to verify this). Dont believe anything the office says because someone may say otherwise.4. Smelling Indian food nightly in the hallways.5. Having no lobby for guests to enter in. They must come up a dirty cement garage and utility elevator for the 300 building.6. The smell of dog feces and intense urine smell from your balcony wafting from the turf dog area.7. If you smoke cigarettes or have friends that do, you arent allowed to smoke on your own balcony.8. Wading in a kiddie pool. The maintenance staff is amazing and Erika and Angela are very sweet too, but beware of you ever cross Ashley. She is very condescending and rude, even in a situation where I shouldve been apologized to because Erika had given me misinformation about parking which caused me to get a boot on my Moms car when visiting. Ashley basically laughed at me and called me a liar and said no one would ever tell visitors to park there (even though my Mom was there when Erika told us both this). Ashley really upset me and was way out of line since her own staff told me incorrect information. Beware of her. She is evil. I want to get out of my lease because I dont feel comfortable there anymore after the way she talked to me.
Jordan and Jad had the best customer service I have received in my apartment search. They went above and beyond to help us and were complete professionals from beginning to end. Based on my interactions with them, I highly recommend this place. Its brand new beautiful and in a great location.
1 review5.0 star rating 4/5/2017I have lived in Duet apartments since 2015 and have been very impressed. Ive had no issued with noise, neighbors etc. I have lived in a comparable apartment nearby that was noisy and had paper thin walls. I highly recommend Duet if you are looking for a great apartment in Nashville. The prices are comparable if not better to the new construction apartments in Nashville. The location is superb if you work in the west end area (Vandy, HCA, downtown etc.) and is 3-5 min drive from I440. I live in he A2 floor plan as it has a great kitchen, living space and bathroom. There is not a lot of storage or closet space. I would recommend this as a 1 person occupancy. The management (Angela) and her team have been a pleasure to work with and accommodate your requests. Unfortunately, I will be leaving once my lease is finished due to going back to school and financials.Pros- QUIET- location- pet friendly- gated/covered parking garage- safe- lot of professional renters (doctors, nurses, teachers, graduate+ level students)Cons- Limited Guest parking (should get better after construction in are is done)- A2 closet/storage spaceOVERALL:4.5 stars!
Jordan & Jad are wonderful! The complex is really nice and quiet. Some areas are still under construction but only during business hours. It is nice to know that I am the first to live in the apartment, ever.
New Post: June 28thI wanted to respond to some of the comments/reviews that Ive seen about the Duet apartments. As potential residents are checking out this apartment complex as their potential new home, I want people to feel encouraged to join our community. I wish I could figure out how I could respond directly to the comments that Im reading, but since I cant find that option, Ill just share my thoughts here.I think its sad to hear that a resident hasnt had a good experience. Ive never encountered a bad experience from the staff, as theyre often very accommodating and helpful. In addition, I appreciate that they enforce the no-smoking policy since I purposely chose a complex that would be smoke free. I know that a few of my neighbors have pets and they often highlight that its great to live in a pet friendly complex but not have to constantly deal with stepping over waste/feces in the pet turf area. I think its good to know that our neighbors are considerate of one another to make sure its a clean and welcoming environment for pet owners as well as non-pet owners. I also appreciate that they offer gated parking for residents to keep our vehicles from being vandalized, even though we live in a pretty safe and well lit area. Prior to handing out parking passes the staff sent out several emails to remind us of the importance of keeping our parking permit displayed at all times to avoid being booted. We were also asked to sign a parking agreement before picking up our pass, so Im not sure how residents would be confused about the policy. In fact, I often remind my friends of this when then come to visit so that they do not have to worry about getting booted. My friends have never had issues finding parking when coming to visit me.I know everyone is entitled to their opinion, but I just want to make sure that the perception of Duet is not jaded by comments/reviews that are only representative of personal frustrations and not actual issues/concerns that occur at Duet.OLD POST:My experience with the staff has been very positive. For work I travel often, and so sometimes its hard for me to take care of things at my apartment. For example, when I first moved in the movers who were delivering my furniture showed up three days earlier than expected. At the time John was one of the assistant managers. He was extremely helpful in assisting my friend and the movers with gaining access to my apartment after I provided written authorization. It was so refreshing to know that the Duet staff was willing to help make my move into the apartment very smooth and pain free. I will never forget the amount of kindness that I was shown during that time. They have consistently continued to provide that same level of service during my time here. It makes it easier to travel for work because Im not worried about my home while Im away.
The amenities and staff are great! Location is amazing too!
Ive lived here for 2 years now and I have nothing but wonderful things to say about the apartment and building. My only issue in the two years was a dishwasher that stopped drying dishes and they replaced the entire machine within the week. The staff is friendly and hold biweekly events for the building, the grounds are impeccably maintained, and the free, endless coffee and cybercafe are a godsend in the early mornings or for a free coffeeshop vibe for dedicated work time in the evenings. I love walking places and worked at Vanderbilt, and you can get to the farthest reaches of campus in under 25 minutes, midtown is a 25 minute walk, and downtown is a straight shot 2 miles on west end (which makes for an entertaining run or a breeze of a golf cart ride). And the proximity to Centennial Park is unbeatable - given the nearly weekly events and the one mile running/walking loop. Not to mention, pretty much anywhere you go from here will be reverse commuting during rush hour. I highly recommend the building to any and all.
Our experience with the management was horrible they are supposed to send us our check after vacating the apartment and we never received it when we tried to contact them there was no proper response
What more can I say about the Duet that hasnt already been said about Buckingham Palace or the Taj Mahal?Your future home is located off West End Ave. and is surrounded by music venues, great restaurants, fun stores, and some cool ass squirrels.Working late on an important project? Weve got Starbucks 24/7 to keep you on your grind. Wish you could get better at pool or shuffle board so you can impress the ladies? Weve got you covered with our fun game room. Trying to get your body ready to hit the beach this summer? Youre in luck, weve got a fully equipped gym where no one will judge you for watching TV on your treadmill instead of doing actual cardio. If youre the kind of person that wouldnt enjoy having spacious living quarters, quick repairs, a kind staff, courteous neighbors (some of whom are really attractive), getting to pet cute dogs in elevators, having a sweet replica of an Ancient Greek ruin in your backyard, AND being conveniently located in a great part of town, then definitely dont move here. But, if you are a trendy person who likes all of those features then take it from someone born and raised right in the heart of Nashville, you might as well live in a box if youre not living in the Duet. But you dont have to take my word for it...Theres no better place to live than the Duet. Its definitely the 8th wonder of the world!- New York TimesId rather live at the Duet Apartments than in the White House or my gold-plated mansion-style apartment.- Donald TrumpEver since I moved to the Duet, my skin has cleared, my social life has blossomed, Ive gotten younger, and my crops are flourishing.- Everyone that lives in DuetSo are you tired of living in your parents basement? Sick of hearing no rush or anything but when are you going to find your own place from your best friend after youve crashed on their couch for 6 months (even though you originally said youd only be there for a couple of nights)? Why be the Kelly Rowland when you could be the Beyoncé of your friend group? Stop settling for less and start treating yo self by moving into Duet Apartments today.
This place is Amazing, great customer service as well!!!!
This apartment complex isnt honest about the contracts at the Signing of the lease, And they have a no smoking policy Inside your apartment( thats right you cant smoke in your own apartment) No one bother to advise you of this till after you move in.
Staff is incredibly disrespectful.
